The food was good quality and as requested, service was good and very friendly. Would recommend and return. Much better quality and service than Clock Inn

Food good value for money. The interior could do with sprucing up. As it is it detracts slightly from the overall experience.

The worst vegetarian burger ever, two cheap dry patties in a tasteless bread bun, with a slither of onion and smallest of cabbage leaf, no tomato, no gherkin, not another vegetable in sight except for a plate of french fries not even chips, had to smother it in English mustard to give it any taste. Note to the cook; vegetarians like vegetables and flavour.

Have been there before was good. Most of the time we uae the clock inn. As it was my mum's 76th birthday she said go to the fleming arms. Wot a disspointmet. No one asked if the food or any thing was ok. No one came to collect the plates. I ended up haveing to ask to take the cake home that thay should of bout out. The duty manager was rude and was not intrested. Will not dine there again. Will stick to the clock inn.

After being turned away from an half empty Shamblehurst Barn, Hedge End. I came here. Glad I did the food was spot better atmosphere, fuller and great service.

All good. Revisited today we both had steak it was medium rare chef came out to ask how our meal was ..I thought was very scruffy...didn't enjoy my meal couldn't eat the steak very disappointed on this visit

Took my Daughter & Grandchildren to the Flemmings for lunch and our waitress was Kacy she was outstanding and is a flag ship waitress for the Flemming Arms nothing was too much trouble she handled our needs with professionalism and courtesy with two young children in tow it was great . Thank you Kacy.

Had the gammon was really nice ,amazing service from Jamie she was very helpful and ga e service with a smile.

This lovely pub has a great atmosphere and team, especially Jose served us amazing the worst thing was the Sunday roast, even I have a knife I couldn’t cut the beef. That’s why I didn’t eat.

Really bad experience. Such a shame we usually always revert to a hungry horse you know what you’re going to get. We waited ages for our food. If we hadn’t have had our 2 hungry children we would have sent the food out. No care of how the food was plated. No check from staff about how food was. Really wouldn’t reccomend. Very little care with service and the food that’s being served.

Hadn’t had a decent steak in here for some time, however tonight my steak was both tasty and perfectly cooked. Must be a new supplier or a new chef. Whatever it is stick at it.

Visited whilst in the area, Place looked nice from outside and all fine inside, food was ok (Not a Fan of hungry horse) but what i had will defo make me want to go back, well cooked and plenty to go round, good selection of drinks but not to my Cider taste but thats down to the brewery, Manager (I think) seemed a little flustered when we 1st got there but over all no major issues and good food and drink.

Visited the Fleming Arms last week A very warm friendly atmosphere and wonderful staff……particularly Jamie Lea who served us nothing was too much trouble and the service was absolutely second to non (which is very unusual nowadays) extremely polite and helpful and really went above and beyond a real credit to the company The food was excellent and the prices even better Will definitely be visiting again soon 11/10⭐️

Early Sunday evening lots of meals unavailable m.

My partner and I eat here most sunday tea times, great staff, food is great for the price and just a nice way to end a weekend, go home full and relax on a Sunday evening. 5 years later and the pub has never recovered from covid. We have been time to time over the years, all the good staff were lost, including the chef. One poor pregnant lady on her own trying to hold the bar down, food took an age and was cold. People were walking out. It took 45 mins for our ice cream desert to arrive. Family on the next table to us were asking for a refund. I feel this is a management issue as the other Hungry Horse up the road (Shamblehurst Barn) serves the exact same food and it's 5 star! If this pub is to servive it needs to talk to Shamblehurst and ask what they are doing, if not it will end up a block of flats with a river view.

Sevice was so bad only one on bar doing bar and all food orders took over an hour for food was cold when we got it then pudding took over half an hour

Nice little establishment tucked away just off the M27. Lovely menu, great service, Rachel was very pleasant, helpful and delightfully polite. Plenty of dietary options and the staff are more than happy to help. I only ever use a 4 as my top rating as then there's no room to improve. A highly recommended eatery 😃

Lauz in the kitchen made me feel welcome as I order some food, and it was the best food that I have ever tasted, can u make sure she gets a big pay on the back, and a big shout out to Aston in the kitchen aswell as he was working so hard bless him, I recommend a big 10out 10for the kitchen staff
