I go in Costa in Southampton Highstreet on a regular basis! It's such a friendly, warm environment. The customer service is always OUTSTANDING! Especially from Customer service advisor Hayley! Always goes above n beyond to ensure my order is correct n always greets customers with a welcoming smile! 5***** xx

Always convenient when you’re in town and need a drink. Hayley used to work at my local Costa, now she’s here and always makes every trip friendly and lovely!

First time visiting this costa today and I will be making sure I visit again after the outstanding service received. My elderly grandmother and I were served by a young lady called Hayley. This member of staff very quickly offered her assistance in helping my grandmother be seated comfortably and quickly. Drinks were served as quickly as possible and were lovely as always, thank you Hayley for making my visit one to remember. See you again soon xxx

Queues was ridiculous, tables disgusting and toilet also unclean

We visited this coffee shop yesterday afternoon, I can’t stress enough how lovely the girls are, really pleasant, the toilets however are a totally different ball game, they were truly disgusting, the seat & all around it were filthy, covered in urine …. I went over to Burger King to use their facilities, this really needs to be addressed asap

The coffee was not sealed and therefore completely spilt and al over my food! The whole order was complete shambles and for £18 I didn’t have a thing. I expect at least a refund, I am so very disappointed in this and expected much better service.

Ordered an iced caramel whipped latte and in the images and how I’ve been served before the whipped part is a light brown however this time it was white like milk so I tried some and couldn’t taste any coffee so asked the lady who assured me it had coffee but I can’t see how if she had added coffee it would have been able to stay white ? And as u can see in the pictures the foam is not similar !! Idk how a coffee shop can forget the coffee 😅

I don't usually go to Costa as this isn't my cup of tea but this time I did. I was served by Will and I can't stress enough how pleasant he was. The customer service was outstanding and our drinks were really nice. Thank you!

Worst Costa this side of the bridge

Had to throw them away. Ordered 2 Oat Lattes, sadly they didn't shake the Oat milk bottle before pouring and as so were dreadful. In all fairness it's a common failing of most national brand coffee shops. It's so important you shake Oat milks as the content separate when stored and by doing so you get the desired taste etc.

The man who served me was quite pushy about getting the costa app/reward thing, then made a comment about it as my card declined with Apple Pay, just found his attitude quite rude. I know people have targets to reach with this kind of thing but his approach wasn’t friendly or helpful and making a comment wasn’t necessary and quite embarrassing. If it wasn’t convenient for me to visit during lunch breaks and the other staff delivering great service I’d stop coming at all, let alone get the costa app.

I often go to my local Costa's for drinks, and I'd never been to this store before, but there was no issues with the service. It was quick, the staff were nothing but lovely, and the atmosphere was nice, with lots of seating available. I only ever usually get drinks at Costa, and I'm never disappointed by them. This store was no exception to that - my coffee was delicious. My problem was with this vegan Lotus Biscoff cheesecake I had decided to "treat" myself with. Taste wasn't too bad, and it looked appetising, overall just a bit underwhelming for the price, but fine. Felt a bit queasy after eating, but I don't often eat desserts so pegged it at that and walked it off. Alas, many hours later I have now formed a sort of, to phrase it delicately, symbiotic relationship with my toilet. Can't say for sure that this is an issue with this store specifically; as previously stated everything else was just fine here. But I suppose, as a rule of thumb, stick to Costa's coffee - don't bother with the food.

No cold drinks were available. The machine was broken, and because of the time of year it wasn't a priority to get it fixed. Apparently, 😕

The usual high standard, always a good coffee

There is a new employee who has been working there for approximately 2 weeks (overheard) when we entered the shop a member of management seemed to be quite rude to him infront of us and a number of other customers it was clear he hasn't been properly trained yet he was asked to come in on his day off to learn how to make drinks from what I had heard he had been working multiple 11 hour shifts at this point along with digging remarks at how he wasn't doing things properly the new employee handled it very well by laughing it off eventhough being treated like that would've honestly made me cry especially being watched by customers left us with a horrible feeling when we walked out I rarely if ever leave reviews but we felt so bad decided it would be best to try and help this new employee out I hope he realises how poorly he's being treated and does something about it :(

Due to late delivery , food and drink were both cold

Coffee was still hot and the food was fine too. Unfortunately there was an error on one item in the order, where a sausage roll was sent instead of the sausage bap.

The service was speedy and friendly, and there were plenty of places to sit. Biggest down side is that there was no loo roll in the toilet, but that could have been bad timing on my part. Also, trillionaire's shortbread was major disappointment.

I had to wait well over an hour for my order and had no option to speak to someone at customer service or cancel my order because it was taking too long. When my order finally arrived, it was cold and one of my items was missing.

The management of this place is arrogant and rubbish. I have been here 3 times... every time they have ruined my mood and my day. They tried to answer my polite question with an attack.. And once he forgot to give 1 item of the two orders and I had to come back and collect it from 3 Miles... and there was not the slightest regret on his face...This outlet is ruining the name of Costa... I did not expect this kind of service from Costa brand.

There was a lady with black or dark brown hair wearing glasses she was working as cashier, she was not nice at all and this not her first time to do that. Please do something because I saw the reviews and most of people saying that, so I’m not the first person being treated like that. Thank you

Amazing lively friendly staff good drinks

Took over an hour from me placing the order to receiving it, just a coffee and sausage bap. It's only a 3 min drive from me? Had to take my break at work an hour later and it was all freezing cold and hard.

Love a Costa drink, and this is a comfortable and handy place for a city visit drink stop. It's friendly and clean ;-)

The lady that served us wasn't welcoming at all. My mum has vision impairment and she was struggling to read the board. The lady who served us was quite rude and no customer manners really. It felt like we were being rushed along and like we were being a nuisance. My mum paid with cash, and when she received her change the lady just plonked it down on the counter like she had no care. Definitely won't be spending my money here again. If you work in a customer role, you need to know how to treat a customer.

We usually go to Costa Coffee but today had a very bad experience. We went as was served by Katie who just seemed so frustrated. Well I was told her name is Katie. One lady was lovely and the one wearing glasses was Katie. We paid for Tuna melt and another veg one. Katie brought the food to the table. I kindly asked her which ones which. With so much anger she told us to check it ourself. I then asked her why she is showing so much attitude. Whilst I'm talking to her she walked off. Why does Costa Coffee need such horrible people? Seriously. Costa, Check the cctv and you will see. This was today between 12 to 12.30pm. I need someone senior from Costa to have a good word with her. Many Thanks.

Waiters take too long to make a coffee and are very distracted speaking between them. Not aware of customers orders making mistakes on the order

The best is that staff is good and the Cafe almost always open. The atmosphere is OK, not the cosiest but in the summer you have the pavement area and on Hight Street. The aircon in the main room is too cold. Good location. Food is not the best considering the lack of healthier snacks but for Costa that's pretty normal.

Low knowledge of the staff of their work. Printed gift voucher qr codes almost impossible to process.

We come here often, the staff are always so friendly and helpful.

3 items did not come with my delivery. Not too pleased when that was meant to be my boys and mine lunch treat so I went without so boys could have a lunch

Slow service, awkward layout, I go to the one in West Quay even though it's a little further.

I love Costa and have been to this location many times, but the cashier the last two times that I have been there has been SO rude. Last time that I was there she had an attitude and I thought she was just having a bad day, but I went back there this morning and she was rude again! She was being incredibly rude to a man in front of me who didn’t speak English well. She had an attitude with him and kept getting frustrated when he was ordering. She also kept looking at her coworkers annoyed. Then when I went to go pay for my drink she didn’t even say a thank you or good bye or anything she just promptly went to the next guest. I just stood their awkwardly waiting for her to say the payment went through or at least say anything but nope. The lady who made my drink was lovely, but the cashier is horrible and it makes me not want to go back to this certain location.

Usual good food and drink only one guy who seemed to be working on his own.

The service from the assistant manager at this costa was amazing! Never have I received customer service as well as this in all my visits at costa and any other coffee shop. I came in at around 8am on a busy Wednesday morning, and even though there was a que of customers, excellent customer care whilst providing the most efficient and nicest drinks was provided. Thank you, you are a testament to Costa and deserve a raise !!

One of my favorite places to visit in Southampton. Friendly staff. Really great Hazelnut Latte and on sunny days you can sit in the sun

A comfortable cafe with great service and atmosphere

Staff very rude and full of attitude felt very rushed and judged by one lady behind the till. While waiting to be served the lady at the till was very rude to the people in front of me as well! Very disappointed as it seems to be the same every time I come into this store.

Drinks now come with second lid, massively helps with travel and maintaining integrity of deliverables.

Sone of the staff are excellent, including Sam, Natalie, Nicole and a young Portuguese guy.

One of the nicest stuff ever. Little touch on Sunday morning made my day.

Like most Costas service is fast. No nonsense coffee overly inflated food prices. friendly enough staff and a fair amount of seating if you can get past the one cup laptop worries that hog all the tables for the free WiFi. Other then that. A good all round store

Cozy little cafe with amazing decaff Capuchino, lemon muffin and lovely staff.

A bit pricey but great food and coffees

USE THE APP - can’t stress enough to use the app. Points mean free things eventually. Nice and spacious here. Plenty of tables to sit at and chill and chat. Toilets here to use also. Quiet on a week day but gets quite busy at the weekends.

We prefer this coffee shop above the other Costa's, & will drive into town rather than visit the closer Costa coffee shop to us. As it has polite & friendly Baristas, always looks clean & its aparrint they do, as I watch a employee spend time cleaning tables, checking the floor, & tidying up. The toilets are clean too. It's one of the bigger shops, so you can always get a seat, but has kept its cosiness by having little private corners with comfy seating. And of course the coffee is outstanding, in decent sized cups, food delicious & fresh. We had coconut Cappuccino, a Skinny Latte & Prawn & Mayonnaise sandwich. Worth the extra miles, & we did some shopping while here.

Lovely place with cordial staff. I have been having cappuccino, hot chocolate and tea and they tasted great to my satisfaction! Thank you Costa coffee!! ✌️👍☺️

The coffee was fine, but they were massively understaffed in the Christmas shopping period. Place was filthy, tables were not being cleared, toilets were disgusting 🤢 .

Last few times I went in there, I didn't like it at all. Mostly because of the staff,unfortunately, as I love Costa Coffee. There is this lady at the till, I don't know her name as she didn't have the badge on last time but she is always rude,never even says hello when your turn comes and she looks like she would rather be somewhere else than serving me coffee. I get it, we all have bad days, but this was on numerous occasions... My husband and I won't be going back there, that's for sure.

Pretty poor experience really, I asked for I white americano and got a coffee with about a table spoon on milk in which I had to get them to re make, and then they had no croissants or bread for toasting which was very disappointing as we were in there first thing on the morning.

Good location right in the middle of town centre , lots of space to sit and enjoy ur drink

Ordered coffee's and two rounds of toast they didn't have cups so had to sit inside with paper cups we're not keen on this seeing as you're sitting inside not takeaway then the rounds of toast arrived he then said sorry we're out of jam which we had paid extra for no mention of alternatives so I asked myself and managed to get marmalade not happy with anything to do with this service to be honest got to be the worst Costa coffee shop so far.

The staff need a bit more umph and 'attention to detail' It wasn't busy when I went in, only ordered an iced latte and a muffin and it took over 10 minutes as they "forgot"

I do enjoy it here. Always chatty staff and great coffees.

Got drink order wrong twice, didn't end up drinking what they ended up serving us which tasted awful, and had to remind them about my food order as they forgot it.

Usual Costa but a shame they couldn't have some tables outside. Probably pavement width restrictions and not their fault
