We have visited Flavours n Spice three or four times in the past and have been very happy with the food and service, this was our first visit after lockdown. The restaurant was very quiet therefore social distancing wasn't really necessary. They did have hand sanitiser by the door to use on entering and exiting. The first thing that hit me was an overpowering smell of fresh plaster. They had clearly been having some work done whilst the restaurant was closed, work which wasn't complete and the smell was rather off putting. After about half an hour we were the only diners in the restaurant, the waiter had also disappeared and we were left in a completely deserted restaurant accompanied by the hits of Westlife and other boy bands of the 90's, this created a very bizarre atmosphere. Service was very slow, the food was rather cold and the restaurant seriously lacked atmosphere. The food tasted very different so I suspect that they have a new chef. Our Naan bread had a large area of mold on it, we pointed this out to the waiter who immediately disputed this stating that it was a cardamom pod, which it clearly wasn't. It became clear that the Naan breads are not made fresh in the restaurant but more than likely frozen. We were given some other type of bread as a replacement, it wasn't a Naan bread or a Chipati, no idea what it was but it wasn't very nice. We didn't receive an apology from the waiter although he did offer a complementary drink at the end of the meal, which we declined. We felt that the service was poor, the waiter looked disinterested and didn't smile once during our meal, a huge contrast from our previous visits when we have been served by a very pleasant lady. Flavours n Spice need to get their old staff back and work on the ambiance of their restaurant. This place was never very busy before lockdown, unfortunately I can only see this establishment closing if they don't start to make a bit more effort!

Visited with friends who live locally - we travelled quite a way but it was worth the effort. The menu contains quite a few dishes that we haven't seen before. We decided to mainly order items that we didn't know and everyone was well pleased. Johnny (owner?) was very pleasant and helpful and the service was good - observant but not intrusive. There are a few Chinese dishes on the menu - don't miss the section towards the back

The restaurant is next to Asda's car park in Astley Bridge, at first glance it looks a bit like an office block. - (Be careful if you park on Asda as it is a 2 hours camera controlled time limit). The restaurant used to be called Indali Kitchen and what an improvement the present management have made to the place (Since December 2019). We visited the Indali several times, while the food was nice and the waiter "Waj" was always very pleasant and efficient the building was always cold, making it not a very comfortable place to eat in at times. Now the restaurant is warm and inviting not only because of the temperature of the place, but also because of the warmth of the staff. We have visited around three times to date and enjoyed all of our food without exception. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Visited the restaurant after finding it on Groupon. Didn't know it was there but what a great little find. Really nicely decorated restaurant and very friendly staff (husband and wife). Food was absolutely delicious. The lady recommended the chicken wings as a started and I wasn't disappointed, they were really good. The mains, Naan and rice were also really tasty and just the right amount of spice for me. The staff were just lovely. We took our young son and the staff learned his name and chatted away to him. They were friendly and welcomed us into their restaurant. We bought this on groupon but will definitely go back. They also do take away so we'll give that a go too!

I took a punt on this place after seeing it on a discount voucher website, and was so glad that I did! There were very few reviews on here as I believe it has just changed hands so I hope my pictures help. Situated immediately behind Asda at Astley Bridge, Bolton, admittedly it looks nothing special and is easy to mistake for an office block and inside it was very pleasant but lacking atmosphere ( Well, it WAS only 6pm), but the food more than makes up for it! My wife & I had poppadoms, onion bhajis, chips, rice, naan a Chicken Jalfrezi & a Rogan Josh and we cleared the lot! The Jalfrezi in particular stood out and comes highly recommended.

Eaten here twice and the service is amazing, the owners can not do enough for you. Doesn't look much from the outside, however food and service make up for lack of ambience! Definitely worth a visit!

We were given a voucher for here for our birthdays and we enjoyed a lovely meal. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and the food was delicious. I love great service and this family run business couldn't have done more for us. My husband had the best lamb biriyani he had ever had. We wish you the best of luck and will be visiting again. Thanks so much

Our regular go to for superb Indian food. Was here at the weekend and in September for a birthday meal with friends. It is friendly, homely and we are always greeted and welcomed like good friends. My little treat to the wonderful staff, a small piece of my birthday cake, so very warmly and gratefully received. The food here is outstanding. The staff are so friendly and always have time to spare to have a genuine chat. We love being able to take our own wine which helps keep costs down for us. Nothing is too much trouble for this family and team of staff. We have been going since day one and it keeps on getting better. If a dish needs tweaking to your preferred taste, just let the staff know. Nothing is too much trouble. Keep it up mangrove family.

I am a european who loves chicken biryani. I’ve eaten the dish everywhere in Bolton and last night I’ve decided to give a go to CCN too. I didn’t have time even to breathe, was perfect and far the best one ive eaten in Bolton in lăsat 5 years. Huge portion just for me and I was full halfway but I couldn’t stop until I’ve finished, taste, presentation, and those lovely yoghurt /mint sauces made my day. That’s a 5 out of 5. My favourite restaurant for biryanis from now on!
