Ordered from here a number of times since reopening and unfortunately EVERY SINGLE TIME there has been something wrong with the order. They've either charged us double for items, wrongly added up or there has been missing items that we've paid for! Always gave them the benefit of the doubt as thought there newly opening and everywhere has teething problems. But yet again, tonight being the final straw. Phoned up to say we were missing x4 items following collecting our order, they promised to deliver these missing items and never have. Extremely disappointed won't be returning.

Great takeaway after recently opening up again after a few years being closed. Had a few meals from there over last few weeks. I always collect and it’s good to see your food being made in front of you in the new enlarged kitchen. Keep it up

So glad you’re back. Food was delicious and freshly prepared. Very friendly staff, it was nice to chat. Had my old favourite, Goa pils. Mmmmmmm the naan was delicious too. Portions so large I’ve got enough for another meal.

Can honestly say this was one of the best takeaway meals I've had in Carlisle for a -long time. The chicken vindaloo was just right in heat, but so you could taste all the awesome flavours. The garlic and coriander pillau rice was amazing and the garlic nan was fantastic with the coloured herbs on top and not the normal massive thick and folded in half soggy ones you sometimes get in takeaways. I ordered the takeaway on line, it said it would be 15 minutes which I thought is impossible. I turned up in 20 minutes and the meal was ready. Got it home and it was piping hot. The takeaway was slightly more expensive than some of the other places we’ve used but the quality was worth it if you don’t mind, or can afford spending a few more pounds. Ive noticed there are some bad reviews previously, with lots of good ones as well. I don’t know if it is under new management or not but I will certainly be going back to this takeaway again and recommend you at least try it once and make your own mind up.

Ordered food at 1820, it eventually arrived at 2110 almost 3 hours later. The order was short a Naan bread and all of the lamb (which cost extra) had been substituted with chicken, something they failed to mention on the three calls we made 1.5-2.5 hours after placing the order to enquire about the ETA. Worse still my sister remarked it was worse curry she had ever had. £45 rip-off, do not recommend.

Takeaway delivered tonight - 50 mins to be delivered but worth it, plus it's Saturday night! Food was piping hot, tasty and they even provided something not on the menu on request. If this was a restaurant it wouldn't be my first choice but unfortunately...

Good quality, tasty food. Delivered if you want it to. Goa pils my fave dish. Not expensive either. Good menu without being too big, but plenty to choose from.

Item missing from order, called to raise concern, waited a further 1hr 30min for item to arrive. We are 1.5 miles from restaurant. Obviously no priority given. The food we had was actually really good (lamb quite tough, everything else good). Such a shame.

Ordered our takeaway to be delivered through 'just eat'. The food still hadn't arrived after 1hr so rang to see how the order was getting on. Was informed that the order was currently on it's way (with the delivery driver). Considering the shop is probably...

This is one of my favourite takeaways in carlisle Stanwix. The jalfrezi is my best, The chicken is fresh and all the curries are just mouth-watering. I would recommend people to this takeaway to everyone.

Despite recent negative news coverage, I have never had a bad meal. Always tasty, hot and quickly delivered. Some great offers help make your money go even further.

We called here after attending Carlisle United; it was recommended to us as a great Indian restaurant but we all came away EXTREMELY disappointed. The place itself is fine - very clean and tidy etc but the food was beyond bland! We ordered 4 different types of curry and I swear they were all the same sauce. My Pathia was supposed to be hot, sweet and sour and I asked for it to be Madras hot but it was insipid and very lacking in heat or flavour. The naans were dry and absolutely no taste of garlic on mine. And as for my unfortunate vegetarian friend; his vegetable curry was so obviously frozen mixed veg thrown in a sauce! Who on earth puts broccoli in a curry??? Just lazy and uninspired cooking. Definitely won’t go back and cannot recommend it from a food quality perspective.

Honestly, disgusting. Worst Indian I've ever had. We had guests and decided to get a £50+ takeaway order. It honestly tasted like someone had tripped and dropped a bucket of sugar into every single curry we ordered - Masala, Korma, and Makkhani. All I ate from our £50+ takeaway order was my plain naan (when I'd ordered a garlic naan) dipped into a sugary sugary curry sauce. TOTAL WASTE of money 🤢🤢🤢 Revolting
