Flavours Cafe in West Lancashire

Recently renovated to a high standard and caters for a full range of clients and tastes. They serve cocktails too. The owners make a point of coming over and seeing if everything is satisfactory.

Very nice place with good food and service. It was a birthday lunch for son with his wife and baby daughter. The staff and owner could not do enough for us.

First visit to this cafe in Ormskirk but won't be the last! Staff so polite/cheerful and seem genuinely happy in their work; food delicious and excellent value for money. All aspects of the cafe itself spotlessly clean.

Very sad you can't get a small breakfast from Flavours anymore,or bacon or sausages on toast. Went in last week to have a big breakfast which I left a bit as to big for me to eat. Surley you can't expect older people to have such a big meal,the small was great. So now we have to pay £9.50,think will loose a lot of customers with this new menu....

I was feeling very hungry and I remembered I hadn't been to Flavours for a while. I remember when they first opened they weren't that busy. Now they are rammed with customers. That's because their food is so good and their customer service is exceptional. I love a full English all-day breakfast so I popped in. I was pleased to find that they do a vegan version as well. The toast was made of fresh bread. They clearly made it on site. It was that fresh and it tasted divine. The hash browns were as crisp as you like and tasted like heaven. The tomato was clearly picked that morning- it was that fresh and perfectly cooked. I loved the baked beans and veggie sausages- cooked just the way I like them. The tofu was to die for, I love tofu and the vegetarian bacon was a dream. I thoroughly enjoyed that meal. Was it worth the money? Cheap at twice the price. Would I recommend Flavours to anyone? All day every day. So would I go there again? Yes in a heartbeat. Get yourself down there and I promise you that you'll be shaken but not stirred.

Heartwarming ♥️Absolutely delighted to see such hardworking and dedicated staff. So friendly, helpful and welcoming - just observing them while they prepared my takeaway milkshakes was humbling - all staff members were a delight to watch - hardworking and amazing team work - management attentive to the customer and their own employees - amazing service - happy customers and delicious milkshakes !! My husband and I were waiting to be seen at Ormskirk Hospital so thought we would go somewere to have breakfast. Came across Flavours Cafe and tried it out for the first time. We went in and I was surprised to see how lovely it looked, very clean and the staff were friendly and felt very welcomed. We ordered two full English breakfasts and two bottles of water. Whilst waiting for our food the lady who was serving brought over a free banana milkshake (which was delicious by the way) that someone didn't want. I thought that was really nice of her as she could of just thrown it away. It brought a smile to my face as I wasn't having a great day. When served with our breakfasts I was amazed how good it looked and it was delicious eating it and felt full after. We didn't have to wait long and the price for the breakfasts was very reasonable. When we were ready for leaving, the staff, my husband and I said our thank you and goodbyes. I will be revisiting again. Great staff, keep up the good work*****

Came here with my nan during a shopping visit in town. We had some lovely large mugs of coffee, cappuccino and a black coffee and my nan had a toasted teacake as well. Staff were friendly, place was really busy but will looked after and well staffed. Our order came out really quickly. Very reasonably priced.

Met up with work girls today at Flavours,some I haven't seen for a year. We all really enjoyed our food as usual. I had an Omelette with nice crispy chips and salad it was gorgeous. They are a great team at Flavours nothing is to much trouble for them. Do not hesitate to go for lunch it is Covid safe very clean. Can't wait for our next visit,we have missed it so much....

Due to covid, flavours is only doing takeout at the moment so we ordered our two meals and they were delicious as usual. I had an English breakfast and my boyfriend had a crunchy chicken wrap, both cooked to perfection and piping hot. You can order via Just Eat which is super handy!! Definitely recommend this cafe for both eating in and for takeaway.

Used the Just Eat app for the first time. Easy to use ,order and pay. Delivery was on time.Food was piping hot and fresh.It was a pure pleasure to eat . I am going to use this again as I believe in supporting local hard working businesses.Well Done to all concerned.And Thankyou.

Visited this morning and had the most delicious breakfast! I’m not vegetarian but their veggie sausages are amazing! Friendly staff, friendly customers and the owners are the best! 10/10 from me 😀

To start this review to the LADY who said Flavours was dirty.I for one would not eat in a Dirty cafe,i have been coming to flavours for a while now and never noticed it being dirty.Murat and all his staff are always cleaning tables and sanitizing down as soon as tables are vacated for the next person.Also if it was her first time out since Lockdown and her Daughter was high risk.why on earth would you bring her to a Market with lots of people around.Anyway we have just enjoyed another Breakfast cooked to perfection by Marco,the staff are all spotless and so friendly.Would deff recommend this cafe for great food and drinks at reasonable prices to...

What a great selection of food, from salads up to burgers, omelettes, wraps and fajitas. Truly excellent food and great tea.

I visited today for a breakfast.Looking at Lisae322 review I dont think this lady has been anywhere that meets her obviously impossible standards.The food was fresh,hot and politely served.The place has been repainted and refloored throughout and the kitchen is compact and workable by a very talented Marco.As soon as a table is vacated Murat and the team sanitise almost immeadiately.I find the place a pleasure to go to,so my advice people is to make your own mind up,and Lisae dont go if you are not happy....you wont be missed....

Visited with my Daughter who is high risk. It's the first time we have eaten out since lockdown. The food was good, no complaints there. No staff were wearing ppe, and saw one waitress lean over customers several times. The toilets were filthy, which I commented on to the owner. He tried to explain it as customers leaving it messy, unfortunately that much grime on taps and dirty floors takes a lot longer to build up. A real shame as the food was lovely, but I wouldn't eat here again as what must the kitchen hygiene be like.

I went today and wow. Just such a lovely friendly environment. Food was delicious and staff so pleasant and helpful. I could see constant cleaning taking place and all facilities were cleaned to a high standard. Excellent value for money. Left feeling safe, happy and with full tummies. Will be back for more xxx

I come here frequently, and I was here today for a sausage and black pudding sandwich. It was great. I highly recommend this cafe.

It may not look much from the outside but the food is really nice and the host / owner is really friendly and polite.

Eat here often both for breakfast and lunch - the owners and staff are very welcoming and the service is good. Prices are very reasonable and the food is satisfying and usually arrives quickly. My preferred meal, the Full English Breakfast is a good size and offers value for money. All in all, it's a spacious, friendly but no-frills sort of establishment, which is exactly what I want for breakfast or lunch!

Visited Flavours this morning with my friend. The food was lovely as usual,I had a small breakfast,which was plentiful and gorgeous. My friend had Burger and chips and enjoyed every bit. I visit Flavours when I can,nice clean café and you couldn't wish for better staff,very homely place.Wouldent go anywhere else for great food at great prices.x

On our visit we were made very welcome the cheese ham toasties were excellant and a large tea pot of tea and at 7 pounds can not be bad

Nice clean cafe with friendly staff but was a little disappointed with the food. Breakfast was ok but sausage and bacon were not great quality and egg was popped and so was hard. Burger was supposed to come topped with mushrooms but there wasn’t many and the toasted bun was very hard. Home made chips were pretty good but salad was spoilt by a dressing they’d put on (wish they’d have asked first as I really didn’t like it!!) I’d maybe go and give the place another try as maybe was just unlucky.

I loved coming to this cafe, the staff were super friendly and always remembered your face. Five stars will fully recommend.

Popped in on market day to get out of the persistent rain.Superb, quick and very friendly service.Our table was cleaned and refreshed and made ready in the blink of an eye!Great pot of tea that managed to provide five lovely cups of tea. Excellent choice of coffees.The specials menu was really good value for money - but on this occasion a bacon bap won the day!Toilets spotless. Will definitely return. This cafe does everything just right!

Walked to this place with out a clue , after a fab breakfast I just had to leave a positive review .lovley cooked full English with toast and a coffee , the food was clean ( no black bits) and tasted great

Had a basic breakfast, which was excellent. Had difficulty in finishing it, hence my comment about needing a wheelbarrow, as you will feel so stuff you'll need one to carry you out!The surrounding are light and airy with attentive staff. The air-con certainly helps through this heat wave.Another one on our list for places to eat.

Dropped in for a breakfast today, noticed how bright and airy it was as soon as I walked in and very clean. Ordered food at counter and sat down, big pot of tea was brought to us very soon after and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. Staff attentive but not obtrusive, checked all was ok & could they bring us anything else. Food was lovely, piping hot and plenty of it. Will definitely return soon and would recommend to anyone. Definitely 5 star

My daughter and I had lunch here today, I had the fish n chips it was homemade chips and fresh battered fish, my daughter had burger and chips. It was really nice, very friendly staff and would recommend if your in Ormskirk to give it a try. They also do breakfasts, snacks and sandwiches.

Good food.. good value.. very clean and tidy.. staff polite.. recommend 6 star if it was possible.. we will be returning soon

I go into Flavour's most mornings on my way to work,i really look forward to it.I enjoy a lovely Latte,Murat makes me a nice milky one.He puts the coffee in a little jug for me,because i don't like my coffee to strong.Another reason i like going in is the atmosphere,the staff are all very friendly.You go in as Customer and come out as a Friend.Food fab to.

Popped in here today on a trip to Ormskirk. Me and the missus got 2 large breakfasts with coffee and a slice of cake, which came to around £15, very well priced.

Great place to grab a bite to eat. The Food is amazing and the staff go above and beyond for you. Super friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be returning as often as I can

Love this cafe. It cannot be faulted. Never tasted such good bacon. Nothing too much trouble. Far too cheap for what you get we absolutely cannot recommend it highly enough. Thanks to the wonderful owner chef and staff.

Had a visit today to Murat and the team as promised for our first Christmas Dinner.It was superb.1,2 or 3 courses available , the food was plentiful and so nice.I had the 2 course for £8 95.Money well spent.You don't have to book just turn up and enjoy.I so love this place.Best in Ormskirk for food ,cleanliness and hospitality.

Go here regularly for a fry-up breakfast. Staff always polite, food really tasty and other than market day (Thursday & Saturday) normally get served promptly. No having to sit around for ages. Give it a try, can't fault it

Love this place, food is first class as is the staff, the breakfasts are tops here, presented well and not just "thrown on the plate" The chicken fajitas are a must as well.

The cafe has amazing food that is great value for money. The staff are very friendly and welcoming to students giving us a free drink or 10% off. The atmosphere is great as well playing good songs.

Such an incredible cafe, me and my uni mates come here a lot for breakfast and it’s always so nice. The staff are also really friendly and even offer a free drink for students with their meals! Also the music is always good and has a great atmosphere

Went to hospital there for routeen check up with my sis I said I know a great place to eat in the town I had an all day breakfast she had a bacon on toast she was very impressed with the whole experience quality of the food the price and efficiency and politeness of the staff it's defo on our a gender next time we visit ormskirk

Came here for the first time today (other half had been a few times alone and brought me today). Great service from the start - friendly, polite, nothing too much trouble, chatted with us before and after we ate but given privacy once our food was served. I only fancied two slices of buttered toast due to a heavy night’s drinking the night before - it wasn’t on the menu, but on asking was told this would be no problem and it came cut in triangles and not oblongs (perfect!) Other half had something off the daily specials menu and didn’t leave a crumb. The place was extremely clean, spacious and very bright with natural daylight and decor. I’ve already noted items on the menu I’ll be returning for in the near future.

I call in to Flavours quite a lot for a lovely Latte.Went in last Thur with my friend for a Breakfast,it was one of the smaller Breakfasts and it was gorgeous,my friend and i ate every single bit.The owner,the Chef and the girls are all very friendly and welcoming,it is spotless in there and lot's to choose from off the Menu.Im so glad Flavours opened in Ormskirk as most of the other Cafes and Restaurants are so expensive,my friend went to the Nordico lounge opp flavours one day for her Breakfast,she said Flavours won with a lot more taste to there Breakfast,also cheaper and great staff.

Been in today and tried a budget meal of Pie (s&k;),Chips and gravy,with Bread and Butter and a coffee.All for £5 50.Excellent value for money and all done fresh to Order.Sean really pays attention to detail and nothing is too much trouble for himself or Murat .Belting little gem of a cafe and I keep trying a different meal each time slowly working my way through the menu.Think I will try the Omelette on friday...watch this space.

We have eaten here several times and the food is consistently excellent. Everything is fresh and made to order - the chips are amazing. Staff are so pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Visited here with my grandparents and I couldn’t rave about it any more. The food was divine (I had a full English breakfast) and the prices are even better. Fantastic student deals too - any drink for £1, and 10% off on all food. The service was the best part. Every single member of staff was so kind and personable. They made every effort with every customer, and it made the experience so much better. Great atmosphere, great music. Just a generally feel good place. Will definitely be visiting again very soon, an absolute gem. Best milkshake I’ve ever had too, and for £3! The owner is so kind, we’re all leaving with huge smiles. 10/10.

Great place to eat smack bang in the middle of the town centre came across this while shopping on the market sometimes feel a bit out of touch going in a restaurant on mine own but I was made to feel so welcome the atmosphere so friendly and the tome I spent there got chatting to so many people definitely go again food was great for the small price i paid the people of ormskirk so friendly

Fantastic cafe in the heart of Ormskirk. Friendly staff and a varied menu with something to suit everyone. Also child friendly. Food was really nice. Will definately be back to sample more dishes from the menu.

I have taken mum in here twice now and its so bright and cheerful with a lovely fresh look. The owner is amazing and pays great attention to detail in everything he does. He is so thoughtful and the food is beautiful and reasonably priced.

Fabulous little gem in Ormskirk.Food is lovely ,freshly prepared by a devoted chef. My first visit was a week ago when I tried their breakfast....yum yum is all I can say. This week I tried a Bacon, Cheese and Mushroom Panini .It was delicious.Good food and jolly good prices .Friendly ,helpful staff.Go pay a visit next time you visit Ormskirk ....you won't regret it.

8 of us met today for lunch here, very clean & bright surroundings. Family run, excellent friendly & helpful service. Varied menu, great food reasonably priced. Between us we had wraps, paninis, sausage barms, omelette & pie & chips & all loved it. We'll be back!

We popped in for a cup of tea, it cost £3.40 for two of us. The place is nice and bright and clean. The staff work hard on keeping tables clean and tidy the place is nice. The toilets are unisex.
