We arrived without a reservation and they gave us super fast table. As an appetizer they give you some popcorn and the meat we ordered is delicious, on the way out they give you an ice cream😀 And the waiter was super friendly, he gave us 10 service.

I recommend it to anyone who wants to face racism in a gentle way. We ate at 5pm on Thursday, January 16th and really enjoyed it. Two people ordered meat and 3 sides, and the spinach, mashed potatoes, and French fries were all delicious. All the staff were friendly too. Except for one male employee. He came to me while I was still eating and asked if I had finished eating. He kept pacing around and seemed to want me to leave quickly. It could be because there were a lot of people waiting, but I don't understand why it was only for our table. (The comparison was made even more so with the other white table, who responded kindly and asked how the food was delicious.) And the white man who had finished eating next to us was informed that he could exchange his ax for ice cream, so we just gave him a bill, paid for it, and it was over... .There is no explanation... To be honest, all I thought was gentle racism. I'm leaving a review because it's so unpleasant.

Took my son there for his birthday. The steak 🥩 was cooked to perfection, very tasty. Let me tell you, the vanilla bean ice cream 🍦 is the best I have ever had in my entire life and I’ve traveled to lots of different places

An incredible place with an incredible atmosphere. I really appreciate the sincere relationships between waiters and guests. This establishment is the best I've come across in my travel history. The food is excellent, there is a small selection but it did not allow us to enjoy the meat and appetizers.

Wow, what a fantastic dining experience! From the moment you walk in the door the incredible food doesn't stop. Popcorn, incredible steak, the most incredible truffle mac n cheese, bone marrow garlic mash, the complimentary ice cream on the way out the door! The staff are all friendly, helpful, and attentive without smothering you. The atmosphere was cosy and romantic, and the food was some of the best I think I've ever eaten. I could not recommend this place highly enough!

It's really delicious!!! If you come to the UK, this is a place that will definitely be delicious. I liked the garlic mash better than the spinach. But spinach is also essential!! The doneness is perfect and everything is good 👍 We went in without reservation.

Visited at lunchtime after making a reservation for a family meal. Ordered 5 steaks, bone marrow, french fries, and salad as sides. I don't think I would have visited if it weren't for the fact that I could eat steak at this price. The dining space was narrow, making it difficult for the waiter to move around. We asked to take a family photo, but were refused.

Been in Flat iron many times and always appreciated the quality of the meat and the taste. Today I visited the branch at Tottenham and unfortunately it didn’t meet the expectations as the other ones. The meat (ordered Medium) came absolutely raw and the entire dish was cold.

Both ordered medium, mine came to the table rare, so we swapped because the other person didn't mind. Both steaks were not even warm, just cold. Servers were quite nice though.

The meat is very delicious. Maybe it is not a cheap place, as of today (6/01/25) the steak plate costs 14 pounds and comes without accompaniment or anything, but the truth is that the meat was very good and the attention of the waiters is exceptional

Spectacular burger, amazing personnel and drinks

By far, the most affordable steak place in London! It might not be that big, but it was perfectly made and very tasty. Besides that, popcorn and ice cream are complementary. The latter can be redeemed another time, too, with a small knife token they give you with the bill. This Flat Iron location is smaller and less crowded than some other locations, so it's easy to get a table without a reservation

The best service we have ever had in London from a mid budget chain restaurant. The staff were so attentive and friendly. The food was incredible. The popcorn and ice-cream is a nice little treat too! Thank you for a lovely birthday.

No messing, turned up without a reservation on New Year’s Eve, small queue outside but waited less than 5 minutes to be allocated a table. Restaurant itself quite small and no frills yet the simple menu, service and food really good. Nice little touches included popcorn on seating, steak served on a chopping board with mini meat cleaver, and tiny meat cleaver ‘charm’ which can be redeemed on the way out for a free ice cream cone ! Highly recommended. Great value for money too, defo go back soon.

The tenderness and juiciness of the meat passed. The ice cream for dessert is also very delicious. The staff may not be able to see you because they are too busy, but if you just look at them, they will come in their order. If you order one steak, one side + a drink, it's perfect.

Overall great value for food but because of smaller restaurant format it made it a bit more annoying to move around when trying to get to the toilets or get seated when the other tables were full Generally a good place to go to because of the nice atmosphere, lighting, and consistent food quality compared to other branches but I prefer the Covent Garden branch over this one

Great steaks, delicious chips, great service and the food came out of the kitchen so quick!! Whenever I'm in London, I make it a point to have at least 1 meal at a Flat Iron Steak restaurant!!!

I made a reservation a month ago on a Sunday at 19:15 and went there, and it was packed with people. I overheard that the waiting time for people who didn't make a reservation was 45-60 minutes. I went with my dad and ordered two steaks, mashed potatoes, and a glass of wine for him to drink. I cooked it medium rare, but I think it would have been fine even if it had been cooked to medium. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly. The ice cream served at the end was also very delicious. I recommend it as a cost-effective restaurant~~~ Is it worth waiting in line to eat... ? I would like to ^.^

The food was so delicious and the staff were so friendly that I had a happy time.

A long wait but we didn't reserve so that's to be expected. Food however was fast and so so tasty! The mushroom sauce is amazing, mac and cheese and the mash was yummy too! Perfect portion and melt in the mouth steak. Service was great even though they were crazy busy.

Wow what a place. Have been twice now and will definitely be back. The steak is to die for and the sides on offer are amazing in their own right. Quite a small restaurant so would definitely recommend booking, there was an hour wait for people who hadn’t booked. Free popcorn and ice cream really tops off the experience.

We thought the greeter/doorman/host did a great job organizing and coordinating reservations with walk in customers like us. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here from being seated with free popcorn to munch on, to our wait service, to our meal, finishing with free servings of ice cream!

Visited this brach of Flat Iron yesterday. The food, especially the triple truffle burger was outstanding however, the staff made the visit feel quite rushed and we were asked to move table whilst we finished our wine which was a shame. Definitely need to book in advance!

Excellent place. The food was fantastic and well cooked, and the service was also wonderful. The steak itself is rather small and I had to order two to settle my hunger. They also give you free popcorn and ice cream which was a nice touch.

We went without a reservation and there was no problem. They offered us a high table to share with another group. Before taking your order, when you sit down, they give you complimentary popcorn. The staff was always very friendly. For dinner we ordered the flat iron stake (£14) and it was very delicious. Perhaps I would highlight that the meat tasted somewhat like butter (I guess they fry it with it), it's a shame that good meat is cooked with butter instead of oil (but I guess that depends on taste). The side we liked the most was the truffle mac and cheese. At the end of the meal they give you some tokens that, when you leave the restaurant, you can exchange for an ice cream. Be careful when paying, they offer on the ticket itself a total to which 12% had been added, so if you want to tip less or differently than that you must notify them in advance!

Booked Christmas lunch with work and it was outstanding. Food was amazing, it was our first time visiting and our server Lorenzo was outstanding, explaining different options and even going the extra mile by allowing us to taste a number of different wines to complement our order. Will definitely visit again.

Came here with my boyfriend yesterday and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were amazing and so helpful! The prices are also quite good and gave a good portion of steak, so perfectly cooked. The addition of free popcorn and ice cream at the end really made the whole meal, such a thoughtful touch. Definitely will come again cannot recommend enough !

I forgot to write this since Wednesday, but Lorenzo was great, and I really enjoyed the experience.

If you can't book the Covent Garden branch, I suggest you book this one instead. The quality of the steak is not bad, but not amazing. It is about between the level of Taobanwu and Wangpin. The other side dishes are normal, but the waiter is friendly and provides free popcorn and water at the beginning. There is free ice cream, and overall the price is a good deal in London.

We visited on a Saturday evening, the food and service were faultless! Well cooked steak, fabulous accompaniments all served with a nice big smile! Although the seating area is small and quite tight there is a good vibe and comfortable feeling.

Food was great. Service could have been better and knowledge of the drinks menu would have been helpful. Air con needs installing in this place, wasn’t even a really sunny day but the heat was unbearable. Ice cream was a nice touch at the end though!

The food was decent, the service was good but the only think that made me feel dissapointed was that you had to pay an “ optional “ tip for everything … Also the service charge is also «optional» and it’s like 12.5% of the total bill…. I've been meaning to write this review for a while now. I work nearby and occasionally treat myself to a Flat Iron for lunch. The quality of steak and sides is outstanding, especially for the price. The restaurant staff and manager are so friendly, they always take the time to have a chat and a joke. They're incredibly attentive and make each visit worthwhile. It's a real treat coming here and I'm always made to feel so welcome. I've got nothing but good things to say, and recommend this branch to anyone who'll listen!

Flat Iron Steak is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment we walked in, everything was beyond perfect. The experience started with free popcorn, served hot and fresh, and water infused with lemon, which was incredibly refreshing. The menu is focused, offering a few types of steaks, a burger, and some delicious sides. My father ordered the Wagyu steak with mashed potatoes, and I went for the truffle burger with a side of fries. My dad also tried their pink lemonade, which was absolutely amazing! The Wagyu steak was perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The truffle burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It featured three types of cheese in just the right quantity, paired with pickles, onions, and served on soft brioche buns. The aroma of truffle was incredible and added a luxurious touch. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite! The atmosphere was unique and inviting, and the service exceeded all expectations. A fun highlight was the little cleaver they give you when paying the bill, which you exchange for soft-serve ice cream on your way out, topped with crushed chocolate—such a thoughtful and delightful touch. This restaurant is great! The steak (wagyu) was delicious, tender and well cooked. My relative and I split 5 sides (mac and cheese, creamed spinach, aubergine and tomato, mashed potatoes and kale salad), all were excellent and well prepared with tons of flavor. You are not overly full and the food seems like it is prepared with dedication to their craft, which is becoming increasingly rare. The servers are pleasant, funny and welcoming. I would recommend coming early or reservations (we waited an hour, which was fine and well worth it. They know this :). Would absolutely come to this place again. Thank you all at Flat Iron for such a dope experience. P.S. They give you lil tokens shaped like cleavers which will give you a free ice cream after your meal.

Comfortable environment although perhaps a little cramped. Excellent food (the meat was tasty and very soft) and the staff were really kind and nice. While waiting for your reservation, they offer freshly made popcorn and an ice cream cone on the way out. Recommended 👍

Average Dinner experience…. The stake was good (Small) so I give it 6/10 The service was average…. 5/10 The ambience wasn’t great at all (This branch was extremely small), we were seated on a shared table with other customers. If you are welling to wait 45min to find a table then good luck and try it.

Always a lovely steak, sides are perfect each time. You just can't go wrong. Waiter team seems to know their wines too as the red they chose complimented the wagyu cut of the day perfectly.

Intimate but friendly environment, excellent food, perfectly cooked meat, attentive and trained staff, the service was special and for this I want to thank Savio in particular who made this experience unique. We had a lovely time at Flat Iron Steak House in Tottenham Court. The burger was delicious, perfectly cooked with crispy fries, and the sauces we ordered paired wonderfully. We also tried the Wagyu steak — it was tasty, but it would be helpful if they specified that it's not the Japanese Wagyu. While it didn’t have the WOW factor we were expecting, it was still enjoyable. The real highlight of the evening, however, was the complimentary soft serve as we exited. Honestly, it's the best soft serve I’ve had in the UK. A small note: the seating arrangement can feel a bit cramped, especially for couples as the seating for two is really small. The corners feel a bit stuffy and could be a little more comfortable. Nonetheless, it was a good experience overall!

The meat quality is good, authentic, the portion is not big, and the price is not expensive. The free popcorn is a bit salty, has a bland taste, and is no longer crispy. You can exchange it for a delicious ice cream after paying. Worth recommending.

Their burger is actually mindblowing! Hibiscus Margaritas were interesting but not close to Margaritas. Good value for money as always.

We came across the restaurant by chance while strolling through town. Looking at the plates on the tables, we decided to eat here. It was really a highlight! We had the steak with crispy bone marrow mash. The meat was fried to perfection, super tender and had a great taste. We would go there any time. The staff was very friendly and quick.

Super delicious food and service. Right at the beginning you get a jug of water and a cup of popcorn and as you leave you get a delicious vanilla soft ice cream. It is advisable to make a reservation in any case, otherwise it will be difficult to get a place.

I had a great experience at the 9 Denmark street location. A few hiccups with our meal (very busy Saturday night) but the care, concern , rectification of our issue and more given by the manager Ivan went above and beyond. So grateful. I felt heard and understood - Ivan was a star. The products are tasty, the service swift and if you have any issue it is dealt with immediately. Go get some yummy steak and chips, with great sides while in London. You won’t regret it. Thanks Ivan and staff 🥰🥩✌️

Service was 10/10 all the servers were smiling and very kind, our server David was very helpful and made sure we was well taken care of. The area in which we were sat was cold, the aircon made our food cold straight away which was the only bad thing i could take away. Steak was amazing for the price defiantly a steal. Free Ice cream and popcorn were an added bonus.
