Kua 'Aina Goodge St. in Camden

Had the vegan burger which came out cold and had no sauce on it so was dry and unappetising. Others I was with said their meat burgers were cold also and very average. The front door was broken and wouldn’t shut so there was a really annoying cold draft blowing on us the whole meal. Table was wonky and unstable. Waiters got our orders wrong. Maybe we just got unlucky but I’ll be sticking to honest burgers next time.

The food here is really tasty. Menu is a bit confusing though. The Goodge Street location is pretty small, so beware if you go on an evening where there are a lot of kids! We went during one of these, and it was hard to hear anything. The drinks are very tasty (and strong!) and the veggy/vegan options really hit the mark. Staff is fast and friendly. Good no-fuss place for a solid meal.

We found this fabulous place a couple of years ago and were so excited to be going back again! What a fantastic, special restaurant, delicious food and fantastic service from the lovely Sarah! She is so helpful, friendly and accommodating, exactly as in our original visit - thank you An attractive and comfortable atmosphere, we’ve had the most super time!

Ordered the Cheeseburger and Onion Rings with a few friends. The staff was really sweet and helpful. The food was also quite good! The size of the burger was also quite big with plenty of chips coming with it. The only thing is the Spicy fries were a bit confusing, they weren't exactly spicy, just a few spices sprinkled in the middle, but other than that there were no complaints! Would recommend.

I was there for dinner on 10th April, I ordered Cheeseburger that came with fries. I did not really like the taste but there was even something worse. There was a bossy woman who received the orders. I am Muslim and wear hijab. She did not really behave nicely fro the first and in the end she brought small cups of Mayonnaise for all my friends (who clearly were not Muslim) but only did not bring that for me. The small cup of mayo was not that important and I could use my friends mayo but she behaved like that in front of everybody without shame!

We have shared a very nice moment here. A good ambience, good burgers. Thanks a lot to Sarah! She was especially full of attention!

The burgers and sweet potatoe fries were out of this world. Highly recommendable. Our waitress was the best, funny and plain lovely. Can‘t wait to come again soon.

We arranged to meet our son here for a lunch on his birthday between lectures. We were not disappointed. The burgers were perfect and the chilli chips were gorgeous too. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service from Sarah was first class. We noticed that it seemed popular with single folks having a quick lunch. Altogether we would recommend.

A Hawaiian themed restaurant. This restaurant serves burgers & sandwiches only. There are beef, chicken and fish burgers. Good prices for central london. The Hawaiian beer is also good. The pancakes for dessert were excellent.

Thank you for the lovely dinner tonight. The waitress persuaded me to have one of the burgers but unfortunately i didn’t like it as much as she did so she very kindly offered to do me another burger instead. This was really kind and the new avocado and pepper burger was delicious, as were the sweet potato fries and halloumi fries. Would go back again

This was a weekday lunchtime, the atmosphere was great, the service fast, friendly and helpful, the food outstanding. We shall certainly come again.

Tuve la hamburguesa de atún y estaba perfectamente preparado y delicioso. Sin embargo, el restaurante en sí estaba helada. Nos dimos cuenta de que había un pequeño calentador que había sido colocado en una mesa, por lo que son claramente conscientes del problema, pero esto no es suficiente para calentar todo el restaurante y este problema nunca se mencionó ni se disculpó por ello. Desafortunadamente, esto significaba que teníamos que salir e ir por la carretera para encontrar otro lugar para pudding y café, que era realmente molesto.

There is a lot of choice when it comes to the burgers. Everyone in our party had something different and loved it. The fries also, whether regular, sweet potato or spicy went down a treat. Thank you very much to Zacchia (so sorry if I’ve spelled that wrong!) for bringing great, positive service and making a small birthday meal a happy one.

A large group of us came here for a Birthday meal. We were looked after fantastically well by Olivia, Neil and the rest of the staff. The food was perfect for what we wanted - nobody went hungry! Overall I thought that the menu was good value for money! What a fun evening we had.

We visited as a family of four for a pre theatre bite to eat, the restaurant was empty when we arrived but quickly filled up. There was a bit of a delay with orders/drinks as the waitress explained they were short staffed but it didn’t spoil our enjoyment. The burgers were delicious as too were the cocktails.

We visited here early evening, having booked a table online / however, it was fairly quiet when we arrived (5pm) and more than half full by 6.

Lovely staff - fantastic waitress but let down by badly cooked food that tasted as though it shouldn't have been served. I'd like to say I'd try again and order something different ...

I've been eating at Kua Aina for some time now, and it is without a doubt my favourite resturaunts in London! The food is generously portioned, utterly delicious (try the tuna burger, it is a tuna steak as thick as the table in a bun) and the drinks - from cocktails to smoothies, to milkshakes are so good I have to force myself not to down them in one go. (The alcohol also being quite generous...)

We found this restaurant by accident after viewing the Queen lights in Carnaby Street. We received a warm friendly welcome. The restaurant is small and cosy with a lovely atmosphere. Service was quick and again friendly. Food was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to visit again when we go to London

We went to a stroll and found this restaurant on tripadvisor. It is a very nice and cozy restaurant. I’ve been living in tropical countries for five years, this place is amazing. Colourful decorations and stairs, just reminded me of the good old times! We ordered burgers, mine was pulled pork which was really amazing. It is really worth to go back. Xxx

Enticed in by National Burger day offers, a friend and I visited on a Thursday night at the end of the summer. Although the restaurant was fairly quiet (most tables being empty) service took an age; both in taking our orders and delivering our drinks; which did not arrive until half way through our meal even though we were only a meter away from the bar.

We love Hawaii and found Kua ‘Aina by chance. It was great value, with great food and cocktails and all at really competitive prices backed by friendly and helpful service from Zoe. Thoroughly recommended.

While not overly busy on a weekday evening, the atmosphere was really nice thanks to the music, doors open onto the street, and the friendly servers. Despite one of them trying very hard to upsell everything, we just went for a bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and a few beers while it was happy hour. The food was good - the burger was ok though not near the best in London, but the fries were really good. Coming in at £22.50 per person including service, it was very good value though and for that I’d go back.

Dirigieran sobre las 19:00h y me hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos por mi camarera Sarah. Ella trajo a mi menú y tomó mi orden de bebidas en menos de un minuto - servicio que es muy de agradecer cuando eres una mujer que puede sentir incómodo sentarse en uno propio.

Visited here after trying the Carnaby Street branch before. The food was great ,service was excellent and there was a lot more space. All helped along with a pint of liquid aloha you can’t go wrong !!

Vine aquí para el almuerzo del Sábado con un amigo. Ambos pedimos hamburguesas (fui por el pollo y mi amigo la hamburguesa con tocino y queso). Puedes ver todo lo hacían como la cocina es bastante abierto. Las patatas fritas eran muy frescos y crujientes y nos encantó nuestra hamburguesas. El servicio también era genial, muy atento y amable. Sin duda volveré y no dudaría en recomendar este lugar.

En general es un gran lugar. Hamburguesas con mucha variedad y opciones interesantes. Tocino y queso bajó muy bien.

Ristorante hawaiano specializzato in hamburger e frullati di frutta. Veramente molto buono, la carne è cotta al momento su pietra lavica. Staff molto gentile. Non so per quale motivo, ma il cibo che servono nella sede di Covent Garden non è buono come quello servito qui, eppure il menu è identico.

Primera visita aquí y decir que estoy impresionado, es insuficiente. Ser un Gerente de restaurante, yo soy muy crítico de otros lugares, pero honestamente puedo decir que me quedé impresionado por la calidad de la comida y el servicio cordial y eficiente que recibimos. El Director Zoe ella presentó y era educado y profesional, lo que una chica, ella tiene este lugar organizado a un nivel muy alto!

Ate here this evening and enjoyed great food and cocktails and, most importantly, fantastic, friendly service from Sarah. Although dining on my own, I took advantage of the happy hour special of 2 cocktails for £10. As it was the hottest day of the year so far - and i` was dining early so the restaurant was not overly busy - they very kindly offered to pop one in the fridge for me until I was ready for it. Highly recommended.

Came here with my two grown up kids on the trip advisor recommendations and we were not disappointed. There was a little bit of a wait but we had the understanding that they were short staffed . We were seated by the door which was open and a couple were sitting smoking on the table just outside and I was hoping to god they moved before we started eating but thank god they did move . We all ordered the milkshakes. My son and I ordered burgers and my daughter ordered the buttermilk chicken . I have to say I have never seen Her demolish a plate of food so quickly ! Burgers are excellent , done on a chargrill, and the onion rings are amazing too . Came in at just over 50 pounds , the food was well

Food was lovely and nicely presented and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service was very poor and staff weren’t very attentive which was a shame. Ordered pancakes for dessert which wasn’t as described on the menu and looked completely different to the pictures on the website. I would return but would expect much better service next time.

Our lovely waitress Sarah was so friendly and helpful, making this a very pleasant experience. We loved being able to sit out on the pavement and watch the world go by, loved the menu and the two drinks for £10 was great! My husband chose the chilli burger and said it was one of the best burgers he had ever had. It was so tender as well as delicious. This is a place we will return to and hopefully we will get the same waitress! Thank you. Highly recommended.

Recientemente asistimos aquí para el almuerzo. Pedimos una hamburguesa bastante simple pero tomó 40 minutos para venir a mí. Esto fue debido a un cliente antes de que me sirve una hamburguesa recocida en una pelea, así que su rancio orden necesitaba ser reemplazada. El personal se disculpó por esta pregunta, pero realmente la sinceridad de la disculpa cuando me dieron un cargo por servicio. I found this place quite randomly and I was rewarded for following my instinct. A small, quaint restaurant with vivid colours and atmosphere, lively enough but also relaxed enough to write my emails while having a cappuccino. I was amazed by my salad and my dessert, and, surely, by Sarah, my server, who made me feel welcome and guided me through the options on the menu. I would definitely go again.

We made a reservation online for a party of 7 that same day and the table was ready when we arrived. Sarah was a great waitress and not a bit annoyed but us telling her several times to come back as we couldn’t decide on what to eat. In the end we all ordered different burgers and replaced some normal fries with sweet potatoes fries (amazing). Definitely will come back. We had a great evening!

My sister and I booked a table here for tonight on a bit of a whim after coming to London for the day. We'd looked at the menu beforehand and it didn't disappoint. The staff were so friendly and made us feel totally welcome and the food was DIVINE (especially the fries) and the portions a good size after a long day exploring. I'd totally recommend the pina colada too. A brilliant, cosy little restaurant with great staff and bags of personality. Would definitely recommend and return here again!

Este lugar nos fijamos en un paseo por la noche y sin duda satisfecho! Lindo lugar, poco, muy temáticos y ambiente divertido. Buena música de navidad jugando, cócteles y buena variedad de comida. Realmente disfrutamos de la experiencia, el personal era amable y hablador. Sarah era preciosa y nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos tan pronto como llegamos, dándonos recomendaciones para la comida y ofertas especiales en bebidas. Buen conocimiento de los vinos y el menú. Me encantó, la izquierda con Flores hawaianas y nuestros cuellos sonrisas en nuestras caras.

I work close by so regularly visit this place along with many others, and have also recommended it to most colleagues and friends. I made a recent trip there and all I can say is somethings changed dramatically!? the waitress was rude and uninterested, people eating outside were having to come in to ask how to pay and to get the table staffs attention, the prices have gone up and the burgers are now being served with compulsory chips - maybe to justify the £2 hike in price. The takeaway burger now comes in foil rather than the brown box it used to, overall it just seems like they are cutting corners and inflating the prices. I will not return, which is a shame. One of my colleagues also had a similar experience so the business will likely diminish - or rely solely on tourist footfall - another great shame.

We went here in the middle of December. Nice and cosy restaurant, with delicious burgers and nice assortment of Hawaiian beers. The personnel were super friendly and we really enjoyed our food!

Ordered the food online but they had not included any halloumi in my salad so I called up just to let me know and they sent a new order immediately. The chicken burgers from here are absolutely wonderful. Such succulent chicken. Great food and great service!

Me and my friend Adam decided to have a late lunch here at 3pm. We ordered a Duke burger and a Teriyaki Chicken burger. The burgers were absolutely delicious and came with a generous serving of fries included, which was a really nice surprise. The restaurant is spacious, clean and full of character - much to my surprise from the branch I previously dined at in Carnaby St, which I found quite claustrophobic. But the superstar of our lunch experience was Sarah, who served us the food on time with her bubbly and engaging personality. She made us feel very welcome and very relaxed throughout the entire meal. Thank you so much Sarah - huge credit to you. We definitely will come back again.

I tried something different on this occasion - the buttermilk chicken burger! The burger bun was delicious as usual and the chicken succulent. The waitress did say that it came with a sauce inside but there certainly wasn't enough there to taste!

What a nice discovery this was. A pleasant little restaurant in a nice part of town. The decor was tasteful and the staff helpful. The food was perfect and we didn’t have to wait long....even managed two cocktails for £10 because it was before 1900. Well worth a visit and most certainly be back.

Popped in for a really quick bite on our way home and came away impressed but with a couple negative impressions. The good stuff: the burgers themselves are very tasty, the staff are very friendly and courteous and our food was prepared in really good time. This place is very reasonably priced as well. The bad stuff: for some reason when our food was brought the waitress said "I hope one of you likes sweet potato fries", and sure enough one of the plates had sweet potato fries rather than skin-on chips. We didn't order sweet potato fries and I'm really not a fan but we were in a rush and luckily my partner likes them so it wasn't the end of the world but still, very odd. Now, as I said, the burger was very tasty, but having ordered a Volcano I expected some heat...I think I found one jalapeno and no indication of the rub that the burger was supposed to be cooked in. Disappointing, but the flavour of the patty itself made up for this in some way.Overall, a very nice restaurant with great staff and very reasonably priced but some small issues stopped me giving it a full five stars.

Came here to try the Halloween specials on a Sunday afternoon.Pleasant service in a very quiet restaurant. Sometimes when it's very quiet in a place the staff can goof about and forget to do their job. Not here.The food and cocktails were pretty decent though not spectacular.Enjoyable place to come and eat.

Ci siamo entrati per caso la prima sera che eravamo arrivati in città e non avevamo prenotato in nessun locale per il primo giorno. Abbiamo trovato posto ed eravamo contenti , perchè incuriositi di assaggiare la cucina di un paese che non conoscevamo da un punto di vista gastronomico. Quando andiamo a Londra ogni sera andiamo in un ristorante diverso per gustare piatti di altre culture, perchè il fatto di mangiare molto bene in Italia non ci toglie la curosità di esplorare altre cucine. Ma abbiamo mangiato americano!!! Forse alle Hawai ora si mangia così, evidentemente hannno perso anche il ricordo delle loro tradizioni e si sono del tutto americanizzati, ma che delusione! In realtà era essenzialmente un'hamburgheria, con tanto di kechup e maionese, patatine e cipolle fritte (che c'entra con le Hawai? Non basta metterci sopra un pezzo di avocado!). Anche il mio pesce, chiaramente decongelato, era grigliato e messo in un panino. Nessuna cosa era cattiva, il servizio è stato gentile, ma gli antichi abitanti delle Haway si saranno rivoltati nella tomba a vedere i loro discendenti diventati americani...eppure ho letto su internet che esiste una cucina tradizionale Hawaiana con piatti tipici di questa antica popolazione che sembrano davvero interessanti. Peccato, peccato! Do due punti proprio perchè mi aspettavo tutt'altro

I have been going to Kua 'Aina on and off for years. I only recently started using the Goodge Street branch but it is everything I like about the original in Carnaby Street, but with room to move.The menu is good and has something for everyone, they have recently included fries and salad with their prices so they are better value than they may seem. A meal here costs almost the same as a meal at Five Guys but with much better service and a more relaxed atmosphere.I had the Hawaiian burger, which was tasty as ever. I'd say the burgers could be cooked a touch rarer but that is my only criticism. Food does take a little while to get to you but that's the way they do it so if you have the time, take the time.Our server was Sarah and she was extremely friendly and welcoming, we will be coming back to Kua 'Aina again soon.

I love this place, my friends and I have dinner here at least once a month. Food is delicious, service is always impeccable and waiters are friendly and kind. Last time we have been served by Kevin, a very nice chatty guy from Ireland who made the evening even more pleasant. Everything was perfect, as always. 100% recommended.

My husband, son and I dined here on the 18th. We are staying around the comer from the restaurant and kept walking by it. We decided to give it a go. We were happy we did. The food was delicious and our server Sarah was fabulous. She was just delightful and so much fun to interact with. It was a very enjoyable dinner.

My colleagues and I went there for lunch today and whilst I cNnot give it a perfect score, The burgers there are cooked so well and are one of the nicest we had all had. The waitress was friendly and attentive at first but as we sat at the rear of the restaurant, we felt we were forgotten a little. We could see our burgers on the pass where we sat and they sat there for too long before we were served making the first of them sitting there fairly cold. As it was lunchtime and had taken a while cooking, as fresh, we did not want to send them back. The restaurant was now heaving and we could not grab the attention of the staff to get a menu for dessert, so in the end we got the bill and paid. As I said the waitress was friendly but they were just too busy at this time. So to sum up burgers are,lovely, left too long before serving and service too slow to get menus for qdesserts.

Recently went there for lunch with a colleague. The food was tasty and the waitress was helpful and made sure our orders were taken in good time to get back to work after lunch. If only more places could be as on the ball as this!

Not the first time and definitely I’ll never have never a last!I last visited Kua Aina yesterday and as always I received the simple and best customer service ever and had one of the best burgers I ever had!Every single burger is unique and delicious.The menu has a wider range; from beaf to chicken to fish and with a lot of vegetarians alternatives. I actually visited with a vegetarian friend who was delighted by the avocado burger she had and positively surprised by the quantity of veg options compared to other burger places.A positive notes goes to the cocktails..DELICIOUS! And a good happy hour deal too!Looking forward to visit again soon to keep trying all the burgers.A shoutout goes to the staff, super bubbly and friendly, always up for advice you and for a chat while ordering and while eating. For an overall good Hawaiian meal - including great cocktails - you could do a lot worse than Kua Aina. We visited for lunch and had some great main course food, with good chili cheese fries and burgers. The teriyaki chicken was a bit dry, meaning the chicken club sandwich wasn't as good as it could have been, although the grilled pineapple tasted great in it. On the drinks side we had a bunch of cocktails - all with rum, so please excuse me if I get some of the names wrong - and while the Hawaiian Storm was great, as was the Mai Tai, the Pineapple Daiquiri wasn't the best. But the Pina Colada absolutely takes the biscuit - it was beautiful and frankly I'm sad I only had it just before leaving. Overall a pretty good meal with attentive staff throughout. Shame about the chicken but the Pina Colada definitely made up for it

The service here was AMAZING!!! Our waitress Dominga was very kind and extremely helpful with the menu. I had the Rosemary Chicken & Grilled Halloumi, which was great! I will go back here tomorrow. I'm visiting from LA and I loved this place.

SARAH!! She made our evening. I stumbled in here with a 50% off voucher. (deal!) thinking, ok, we'll grin and bare the food. but.. there was a real time and dedication taken to the burgers, cooked anyway (bonus as some places are stuffy about this) and all the homemade sides. The staff, namely our waitress Sarah was friendly, had a great sense of humour and happy to take pics for us as well as order a quick 2nd set of sweet potato fries. Great burger - you have to get a large size which is a 'normal' size portion. The fires were good too (sweet potato). It was only let down by milkshakes that were quite thin compared to other places.. Overall, great vibe with a decor that gives a chilled Hawai sense.I came in with the voucher (couldn't believe the price) but I'm going back as a fully paid patron. Great way to get customers in!

What a find! This restaurant truly teleported us into a little paradise. The ambiance, music and decor are quirky and just something different than the clones of your bog-standard restaurants. The servers were amazing: welcoming and attentive, with genuine smiles. My vanilla milkshake with a shot of Baileys was to die for and the food was delicious: fresh and tasty. Thank you for making us feel good Kua 'Aina, we'll definitely be back!

Popped in here for lunch with friends. It's not that large but does have some seating outside. The menu had decent variety with burgers being their main speciality. However, I opted for a fish finger burger which was very tasty and some chilli sweet potato fries on the side. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food and the Hawaiian beer went down very well in the sunshine too. Service was friendly and efficient. They forgot an item and brought it late but took it off the bill without even being asked which was a nice gesture.

Kua 'Aina is right round the corner from my partners flat and it's one of our favourite places to go- or order from: we're working our way through the menu! Staff are always friendly and attentive, cocktails are inexpensive and generous on the alcohol and the decor is lovely. I've enjoyed every meal I've had here- decadent milkshakes, incredible fries and the burgers! I'd recommend the rosemary and halloumi chicken burger and my partners favourite is the tuna! Cannot recommend this restaurant enough or enjoy it more- and I've almost filled my loyalty card!

Good burgers and good selection of vegetarian options. Nice food especially the onion rings ooh babeh.

Something new fresh and bit spicy plus cocktails and burger in a great brown color bun something that sounded common but surprise surprise!! all was just different. Loved my hawaian surprise! Plus the young guys at the bar were juuuust lovely. I wanna come back with friends!

I ate here with my family and was served by the most loveliest waitress, Sarah. Who gave great recommendations on the coleslaw and the tequila. Food was really good clean plates all around. Overall great atmosphere, service and food. Will 100% be back!
