I loved it here for my mums birthday all the staff were so friendly welcoming and professional its a chilled out vibe very clean, great music, amazing cocktails and mocktails, gorgeous food. I will definitely be back!!!

Went for my 30th Birthday, the food was very nice and tasty the service was great didn’t get the girls name but the waitress was really friendly and polite. The chips were amazing! Definitely coming again.

Well what a lovely roast dinner we just had plenty of food great service from Jack and rest of the staff courteous and friendly would recommend a visit!! Mmmm roasties were delish

Visited for tea with my partner. Good service followed by good food. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff which is rare these days . The manager with the beard also checked if everything was okay and chatted with us for a while which again made the experience better. Will be back soon . Thanks again flanks for a nice evening out.

We visited Flank for Sunday lunch, I ordered beef which was inedible unless you liked to chew for ages!!! The lunch was luke warm, if you wanted a “full roast” you had to buy sides at the time it was 3 for £10 good size portions. Don’t get me wrong the taste was there but it wasn’t great, would I go again no, the waitress was lovely. I just think it was overrated, oh and they do a surcharge 10% added on your bill, which is fine as long as it goes to the staff!!

Do not waste your time or hard earned money! It’s such a shame the food and service is awful as the design and ambiance of Flank is lovely. This going to be a hype for the Wirral then no one will return as it’s absolutely shocking. Drinks are tiny- a cocktail basically in a shot glass, frozen chips and the worst steak I’ve ever had!! I could of cooked better myself at home. The waiting on staff need serious training to come up to scratch with the label of a steak restaurant and it’s extremely over priced! Example: the waitress spilt my sisters drink over her bag and didn’t offer to get her a replacement or a tissue to clean her bag. I would be ashamed if this was my restaurant after putting all that hard work into it to look nice but everything else is a terrible standard. Stick to Miller and Carter guys.

Just had lunch, I had the lamb which was on the special board. It was lovely cooked to perfection, will go back again to try the steak. Shout out to out server leah, very pleasent personality made us feel really welcome.

On arriving it seem’d like an alright place, we ordered a medium steak and a medium well steak instead we got a medium well and a cremated well done steak. On both you could taste the grill (not in the good way) vegetables and chips are like something you get out of a bag at Iceland with one veg hiding the other and so on so you don’t know what’s on the plate.. Empty drinks not taken from the table which is very small, bar staff didn’t seem like they knew what went into the cocktails (we had a bar side table) overall for the expensively priced dishes I would give this one a miss.

I have been looking forward to visit this new steak house since it recently opened . I have been to many restaurants and steak houses over the years and I can honestly say that this has to be the worst , not only for value but also for the quality of the food . Because the restaurant is called flank steakhouse , I expected the steak to be cooked better than your average restaurant, how wrong I was I ordered rib eye steak which cost £29 and it was awful , I’ve had better steaks cooked at Witherspoons or the harvester , this was not rib eye , it was the worst steak I’ve ever had , cheap and cheerful . The steak also was cut into pieces , where have you ever seen a rib eye cut into pieces . The restaurant also don’t serve mustard , I normally always have French mustard with my steak , no mustard . Myself and my friend had a starter each , she had a fillet steak , I had rib eye , I had one beer and a glass of red wine , she had 2 glasses of white wine and the total bill came to £129, absolutely disgusting , day light robbery. Do not come to this restaurant’s if you are a steak lover and want good value for money , I’ve had better meals across the road at Witherspoon for £30 total .

Heard about this new restaurant on social media, knew prices were higher than average (fillet £30 with greens and chips). Went for sirloin rare with side of mushrooms and peppercorn sauce. Would normally go for fillet if budget allows. I was very impressed, meat was tender, well cooked and timely. Staff friendly but not overly hovering. Atmosphere was warm and comfortable, not over crowded and generally had an amazing night out. Nothing left on either on mine or my sons plates and we can be picky. I don’t write reviews unless I feel significantly swayed either way. I left a tip which I also don’t routinely do, really very impressed and in a world where we all have our own trials and tribulations, this was a really lovely night out made great by the wonderful staff. Will certainly rebook for special occasions - tonight was a meal with my son who couldn’t be with me for Xmas! To be honest, better than Xmas day !

I had numerous issues with this new restaurant from as soon as I arrived. Poor service and the managers customer service in dealing with complaints is appalling. My blue steak came fridge cold. They stated that was normal. I told them, in ALL the steak houses I have visited, I have never been given a fridge cold steak that was cooked. The manager stated the chef said I should have rare. This is supposed to be a steakhouse, a great steakhouse should cook steaks to perfection every time. So I said yes with deep disappointment. The waiter brought back my original food plate with the original steak pieces cooked medium and not rare and now the chips were cold and peppercorn sauce cold. In ALL my years of visiting steakhouses and restaurants, I have never ever had this done to me. I gave it back and sat there whilst my hubby ate his food. His food was also sub parr. It was his birthday and Christmas Eve. I left feeling absolutely mortified by this experience. Even wetherspoons would never do this. I've had better steaks cooked in wetherspoons type pubs. Such a massive disappointment. It feels like they have an undeserved air of self importance that they feel they can treat locals customers like this, simply because you are new and only steakhouse on the area. Well, after reading others reviews, it's only been open two weeks and there is clearly a BIG problem here. Sack the chef and manager.

Booked for first week Great atmosphere and decor, good welcome, drinks order taken quickly, starters were excellent. However we then waited an hour for our main course despite explaining we needed to be out in time to go to the Floral Pavilion. Even though steaks came late they were over cooked and cold. No time for desert. I think with more experience and time to improve this will be a great venue.

Went to Brighton for a day out and had a great time at High Tide, We were a family group of 10 adults & children having food and drinks. The staff were courteous and helpful throughout our visit. We had a range of food - starters, fish & chips, burgers & chips. The food was nice and everyone enjoyed their meal. Would definitely recommend trying and would visit again. Era la hora de tomar una copa en la calle Gardner una tarde, nos sentamos afuera de la cafetería "coffee tree" "La gente mirando". cuando llegó nuestro Latte, la camarera era amable y comunicativa. El Latte se veía muy bien PERO cuando empezamos a tomarlos, ambos tragos no estaban ni cerca de "calientes". Estaban casi tibios. El azúcar que añadimos ni siquiera se disolvió en nuestras tazas correctamente. . Nos quedamos sedientos y necesitamos una bebida CALIENTE. El por qué algunos lugares sirven café frío o caliente de Latte es un misterio. Para mucha leche. . ? Agua no lo suficientemente caliente . ? No lo sabemos . .

I hate to say this, but this must’ve been the worst ever experience I’ve had of having hot drinks and a slice of cake while eating out. I ordered a tiramisu hot chocolate and a latte coffee. Both of them should’ve been served in a mug, but were in cups, the drinks were tepid and the taste was very disappointing. The caramel chocolate cake was mediocre, far from what I would’ve expected in a high-end cafe. It was also like sitting in a refrigerator. When I picked up my spoon to stir the drink, the spoon felt ice cold as did we. The staffing levels were very poor, the young man that served us also ended up cleaning tables and taking away items to be washed up. While we were having our drink, he proceeded to put chairs on tables that were immediately behind us. This felt as though we were not welcome. I’m very disappointed in Waitrose, I was expecting way better than this! I don’t feel ever inclined to want to return to this place ever again!
