Five Guys Cheshunt in Broxbourne

15-20 mins late. I received a message at the original delivery time saying they were at the door - they were not. I stood on doorstep for 15mins waiting - I replied to message telling them they weren’t at my address, asking where they were. Got no response and on the map they were also not moving. They didn’t move for over 10 minutes. When they finally got to the door I asked them where they’d been and I was told they don’t understand English so could offer no explanation. Terrible service.

chips were stone cold and hard which given the short distance means they were likely sitting around for a while before delivery

Poor. Ordered an Uber Eats Delivery and gave me a missing bacon lettuce tomato sandwich. The chips were cold and the other stuff was badly squashed. Hot burger and cold sandwich lumped together. I called them up and they said they couldn't deliver back to me and that I had to go and pick up. It was only a small order of 1 portion of chips and 3 sandwiches and they still get it wrong. I wouldn't go back again.

Went with my mum today had two bacon burgers and one portion of chips and two strawberry milkshakes. The atmosphere was not the best the lady was lovely but the guy who was cooking wasn’t in the best of moods. The bacon was burnt and like a surf board and the portion of chips was stingy as I’ve been to a few of five guys and you get more chips. And there was no heating you could see your breath as you was eating I would not recommend this branch

I would not recommend this branch stingy with the chips bacon burnt freezing inside stay clear the lady was nice but the cook was not in the best of mood

Burgers are hit and miss. One day you might get a good one and they are good. But 9 times out of 10 you get a greasy over sauced mess. Burger buns soggy and falling apart. I'm not buying from cheshunt again. More staff training needed and they need a eye kept on them by the management to catch the mistakes. At these high prices we expect a good burger everytime.

Atmosphere not the staffs fault ...gen area

FG ask you to order online to make things quicker but this is a misnoma. I ordered on-line and then went to collect my order and was 13 minutes early. As instructed, I went to the collection counter and they said they couldn't do anything because my order hadn't printed out yet. It was some 18 minutes later that they eventually gave me my order, at which I immediately asked if the chocolate milk shake was present and they accepted it wasn't and immediately made this up. In the 20 minutes I had been in the shop 4 couples had walked in off the street and ordered , waited and received their meals before my own. The staff were as polite as their hectic working lifestyle allowed, i.e. just say sorry and hope. I got the meal home in 3 minutes and there was very little heat left in it. My wife's chips were the hot ones not the regular so inedible. The microwave had to be used to get extra heat to the meals. All in all the £34 spent was a joke and will not be repeated. I would recommend that you use your local McDonalds or even better, Wimpy Bar, which are much better value for money and far more customer focused.

Getting service, very clean and friendly staff except for they don't do the famously large portion of fries when you order a large its a regular shame really :/. So make sure to ask for your fries separate if you like bigger portions. 😜

Staff are dull lack of life as if they really don’t want to be there and also can be rude by ignoring you when you waiting to be served.there is a guy who stands by the chips and gives out the orders he has no customer service at all! The chips are a rip off and watch out can be warm and not fresh Have had better five guys food at other locations where there is great customer service and an atmosphere that you want to go back

driver never turned up absolutely disgusting just eat needs to monitor these drivers properly because how can a 50 quid order go missing and no support from just eat

1 out of 4 of the shakes was delivered had to go get them myself no point in using a delivery service when they don't deliver the items

Food served was hot, delicious and well presented - despite having all toppings, the burger was packed neatly! Extremely generous portion of fries and the veg was fresh. Visited during off peak hours so it was less busy - pleasant dining experience. Best Five Guys I have visited, clean facilities and helpful staff!

food arrived hot but in sorry state, burger was squashed in tin foil which made it difficult to eat. There was no pickle or grilled onions as requested. Fries were just thrown to the bottom of the bag and they were mashed up. I'm diabetic and had to eat not realised to take pics first, very disappointed with my first order, not sure I'd like it again. hopefully someone will read this and do something about it 😮‍💨😡

The burger looks sooo tasty … yes looks only. I’ve been here twice and both times I had the cheese burger. Both times I’ve ended up with sever diarrhoea. Goes to show how dirty this establishment is. The staff are friendly but if hygiene is beyond low then it’s just a bacteria infested eatery.

By far one of the best five guys we've visited. We got one large chips to share and they were very generous on portion! Burgers were cooked perfectly. Taste was bang on! Despite the restaurant being busy, we weren't waiting long for our order. The restaurant was clean and we received friendly service. No complaints at all 🙂

Staff were great - food was tasty, but the comfort and ambience of the actual restaurant has no more charm than a school canteen and definitely not worth the hefty price we paid. So although we enjoyed the food we wouldn’t return as when you pay these prices, you need to feel that you’ve had a nice treat, but five guys definitely doesn’t deliver that- we’ll take the kids elsewhere in future

Wish there was a option to select salt concentration level or no salt option on the chips. They salt the chips just tooo much, gave me a headache. Otherwise the chips is nice. Could've eaten it without any salt instead

Order via app, delivery. Friday 26 January 2024. This is our 4th time ordering from 5guys, Cheshunt. 4 burgers & chips, normally no problems, it’s always a long wait for the delivery, but we put that down to it’s popularity and busy time. But this time Very disappointed , chips were cold, really cold. , cold burgers pink in middle and buns cold, on my third bite of my burger out came a long blonde hair. It’s not a cheap burger £68. It just wasn’t acceptable this time. Not sure I’ll be ordering again.

I ordered online, milkshakes were great but I ordered the little fries and what I got was a poor excuse for a portion size. I know, having been in the restaurant, that this is not the portion size they normally serve so why is this the case when I’ve ordered online?

The food was not far from being cold and it was squashed and the chip s had come out all in the bag. The milkshake was thin and melted. Was very disappointed and this is not a cheap place to buy a takeaway.

Quite expensive for fast food joint (around £20pp for just burger, fries and a drink), but the food is very tasty and portions are generous. Lots of optional toppings included in price and the milkshakes are excellent.

Food was excellent. Portion size was huge. However, was very disappointed that they set an eta of delivering within 30mins and ended up taking 1hr 10mins to deliver from when I ordered. I'd much rather five guys just say it's going to be a long wait rather than luring me in to order a quick meal and then it takes way longer than advertised.

The driver turned up with just the milkshakes and no food from a £100 order. Then only offered email support and “maybe” a refund in a few days. My last ever order with this company.

Visited on a week day at 11:00AM as soon as they opened. By Far one of the best Five Guys restaurants I have visited. It was spotless and the staff were super friendly and talkative. Even asked if i wanted extra chips after I had finished my Large portion. Perfectly presented burger too 10/10!

All cold had to put in the oven and a waste of £40

Quality of food was gods and they did deliver on time but.,,…,Half order was missing the driver forgot it not the restaurant. Was told they’ll bring it back soon and never did!! Had to request a refund. Bad service!

We have ordered cheeburger with lettuce, tomato and mushrooms for my son and it turns out they mistakenly put bacon in it as well. My 11 old son was extremely upset after he had a bite or two realising that it contained bacon as well. We do not consume pork Related products as part of our religion and we were terribly upset especially my son. How can a such mistake can be made! Unforgivable! My 11 year old son is traumatised since.

First time of ordering from the local Five Guys and hopefully won't be the last. The food was tasty and the burger still pretty warm. Generous portion of fries and delivered on time. So nice not to have to pick out pickles or lettuce from the burger and just enjoy all the flavours from the key ingredients: meat, cheese and bacon. Only criticism is that there was a lot of cheese that escaped the burger and stuck to the foil wrapping - if that could be sorted then the burger would be perfect for me!

Excellent thick burgers, will fill you up, (reflected in the price). Enjoy if you visit.

It's not the cheapest but if your after hand made burgers and also fill with as much fillings as like then you need to try it. The burgers are really nice, the chips are also so good and a large portion will feed 4. Help yourself to unlimited roasted monkey nuts and drink all you like with the refills, so many drinks to choose from.

Great team served us here and serviced all of our requests Unreal food, pipping hot Eswar was the manager on shift and made our burgers.

The staff are super friendly and very patient. The restaurant is always really clean and I know that I'm going to enjoy the food every time.

How is it possible that this place only cooks with peanut oil? How about catering to the people with allergies? Surely they can cook their food with a different oil for people with allergies to be able to eat there.

The best customer service I have received in a long time!! The manager is so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for him. He even asked one of his colleagues to help me take my order to the car as I was holding my 7 month old - I would say that’s going the extra mile!

Five Guys is always delicious but so expensive.

Staff are really lovely here. Restaurant was clean and neat and tidy. Food was lovely and freshly made.

The fries were nice but very expensive for a small bag. Burger ok but again very costly for what you get. Nearly £15 for burger and chips delivered.

I won’t recommend this place! Is so expensive! Paid £8.98 just for Hamburger and I got a rubbish!

Went into five guys today the cheshunt branch and I had a great experience. I was greeted on my entrance and served by a young man who was very friendly. Asked me if I wanted fries milkshakes or other drinks making sure I didn’t forget anything. Which is common these days with kids. The restaurant was clean tidy no mess. Even the toilets were sparkly clean and smelt refreasing and not awful like other places. The manager was kind and friendly making sure we was seen to. I 100% reccomend and would come again

Food delivered, chips, cold and soggy and a missing burger. Called and was told missing item would be delivered, and it wasn’t. Considering the prices and how much money I spent, it’s shocking!

I've been enjoying burgers and milkshakes for many weeks here, the accumulation of a cycle 10 mile ride from Enfield. Today however I was shocked and shown the door, no bikes shouted the counter staff ( no bike riders) I'm ejected from the restaurant abruptly and rude! There is nowhere to park a bike at here so... That's it for me I will not darken your doors again. Discussed!

Alfie put together my meal in the heat of rush hour in quick time and with efficiency. Although I’ve never been a fan of five guys as I’ve never had it In previous years he made the atmosphere seem friendly and positive to be in. Would definitely go again and would recommend if you are in the area.
