Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Harlow

Cips and cheese sauce! Delicious,we had visit this afternoon and I had wedgie burger 🍔 my X wife and daughter had cheese burgers 🍔

I go to five guys very often and i’ve always had a good time, great customer service, delicious food, very quick never have to wait too long, clean and sanitised especially throughout covid.

By the time you’ve waited for them to sort out all the delivery drivers , stood about got your food , then waited for the slowest person ever to make a milkshake the burger was cold . I’d only gone from the shop to the car park , didn’t even take it home . I would have gone back , but 1 it was pouring with rain and 2 they where in such a shambles in there I just couldn’t be bothered to go through it again . Also the milkshakes are well over priced . It’s a shame because when the food is hot I do think it’s worth the extra money, but it really needs taking charge of in there by someone who knows what there doing . And most importantly make sure customers aren’t waiting for food that’s obviously been cooked for some time , and is now at best lukewarm. It’s to expensive for a burger for bad service and cold food .

The service was shambolic, orders were wrong and food missing from orders! This was a case for lots of customers and lots of people being rude to the person doing the table service! However it was very busy and assume it was due to the EOTHO scheme as the service here is usually very good. The food was still tasty but the chip portion size was a tad erratic, 2 medium size chips were not of comparable size!! The staff were very efficient at cleaning tables between customers and keeping the place clean.

We have been here a few times. The last few times we went there we got loads of fries in the big pots, this time we went and they came in small white pots with no branding and was literally half the size they used to be!. I'm not sure if this is new policy but we were not happy for the amount of money we spent on burgers and fries for 3 people. I dint think we will be going back now as we felt ki d of robbed to be honest.

Love the burgers, i think they are the best, the whole style , its a burger chain but made to order and just that bit better although the choice is limited. You can get a beer and and take a seat while its cooked and a bit less frantic then other chains but then its a good bit more expensive .... but worth it in my view. Good seating areas.

I reviewed this in 2016 and had a cheese dog which was truly excellent. This time I had the burger and oh what a difference. Not fully cooked, tasted awful, tables dirty, even the wife who will eat anything had to leave half of it. Won't be going back to this branch anytime soon and I think I'll stick to the cheese dog!

No fan of burgers, but decided to have dinner here. We were welcomed with friendly smiley staff who helped us with our order. Burgers were ready quick and cooked to perfect. Had a peanut butter milkshake - never tried before, but was absolutely amazing. Just next time I would order it with combination burger - milkshake. Its too much :) Probably is bit overpriced, but you can see prices before order so you know what to expect.

Had my first ever experience in five guys yesterday. Was welcomed on entering and promptly asked if I had eaten here before, to which I said no. The menu was explained and the milkshake was recommended... along with cajun fries. I had a double bacon cheeseburger, cajun fries and a banana milkshake with cream. The total cost was £17, which I felt was expensive for what I got. However, I was very happy with the service, I enjoyed a handful of peanuts while I waited for my meal and the food overall was good. The cajun spiced fries were good, the burger was good and the milkshake was excellent. By far the best milkshake I think I have ever had. Would have been 5* if was either a little cheaper or the burger was excellent rather than very good. Thanks, will be back soon....

First time I've been into Five Guys - basic tables and chairs but who needs fine china when the food tastes this good! Staff friendly, helpful and smiling, they were working like mad and had a really good routine between them putting the orders together. You choose the item you want (burger, dog or sandwich) and then decide which toppings you want to add - these are free. You place your order, pay and wait for it to be made - the burgers are foil wrapped to keep warm and all handed to you in a paper bag with burgers itemised on the receipt to identify what's inside the foil. We had a burger each and shared a small portion of cajun fries which had a lovely kick - a generous portion (plenty for two). They also do milkshakes which looked great but I really wanted a coffee which unfortunately they don't have - it just meant we popped next door to Esquires afterwards for that. We sat outside in the sunshine and watched people walking by the water a few feet away.

Had an issue with a previous order, the manager Paul was quick to resolve the matter and went above and beyond for us.Food was 5 stars as always Thanks Paul

Let’s start with the fact that all there food is amazing and so fresh I have never had a bad experience here, today I went to five guys and ordered the Cajun fries as I had never had them but they were way too spicy for me so I kindly asked if there’s anyway I could change them to normal chips and they changed them right away and told me to enjoy my burger whilst they bring them to me. Personally it was a great act of kindness and it goes to show that having good customer service and efficiency is so easy.

At almost £35 for 2 burgers, fries and Cola’s this place is overpriced. Yes, the burger is quite tasty and the ‘fries’ are good - but not THAT good. Add to that, the dirty tables (only 8 customer in at the time of visit) and the staff spending their spare time laughing and joking between themselves rather than clearing tables, sweeping floors and generally caring for their aspect of ‘first impressions’ - I really can’t see how they can justify such a high price-tag. I’ll certainly think twice before returning.

At over £5 a pop for milkshakes, this place is pricey... but for good reason. The food is delicious. Try the banana and nutella milkshakes, you won't regret it!

Amazing, the seasoned chips are just something else.... they taste soo good !!! The burgers are great aswell .

5 guys are by far the best burgers I have tasted. so many different toppings to choose from. fries are good aswell.

First visit to a Five Guys, excellent food, quality very good but eating in was a trial. The music was so loud that I could not hear the guy taking my order, and he clearly couldn’t hear me. This is a place where you need to know the ordering protocol, bit like Nando’s, but due to the noise level and the speed with which the guy on the tills spoke, I just took a flier, which meant I didn’t order any fries, not the end of the world and a manager sorted it very quickly. But sitting in to eat was a nightmare, our granddaughter had asked to go there and there was little or no chance of conversation, we couldn’t hear each other above the music. I am not sure whether the music was so loud to placate a group of about 8 or so pre pubescent teenagers at a birthday party, or to actively discourage people from eating in, if it was the latter it worked with me, definitely a take away for me next time, that if I can work out the ordering process. 4 plus all day long without the row.

I was apprehensive at first, as the usual out of town franchise never gets it right compared to the flagship store. But service, timing and taste all scored high in my book.

Came here for my last ever burger before going Vegan and my Gosh it was worth it! Stacked it with as many things as possible, doubled the cheese and topped it with fries and a shake!

Really good burgers and always very speedy in making order. Drinks machine is great and the free peanuts to! Only downside is the price.

I went there with low expectations, as it is a fast food restaurant afterall, but it really exceeded my expectations. The food didnt feel greasy, in fact the chips were quite crisp and the hot dog was amazing! Service was also very good. Will be going again!

I decided life was too short and it was time to try a Five Guy burger and ignore the eye watering calorie details.

I went there one day and ordered large hot chips with a cheese burger, after that when I got home I realised they had given me the regular proportion with regular chip that were dull coloured to their usual standards and they left me with two soggy buns with sevaeral tomato slices and other moist toppings of which I didn’t ask for

People love or hate a Five Guys. Some moan about price and others don’t like the style of burger. Me, I like a five guys burger and here is how I like it:

There’s no doubt that these are great burgers. Service is poor given the premium price. On this occasion they messed up an order that needed to accommodate an allergy and forgot the milkshakes.

Have been here several times before as it’s my daughters favourite burger place - but for me I think it’s so overpriced for what you get.

I ordered a meal online through the Five Guys website on a Sunday at 17.42, the order said it would be ready at 17.52 to collect but the chips would be cooked fresh. Got to the restaurant at 18.00 and waited until 18.20 before the food was ready. Food was ok but I dont personally think that the burgers or the fries were worth the extra cost and if you want to order online to save time you may want to reconsider as the online timings dont seem to work

First time I have ever tried Five Guys and have been meaning to go for ages.

I love this place for quick convienent fresh food and the staff are always energetic here, always a friendly buzz and warm service thanks again

Great place with all wish service as they make each order fresh. Enjoy the free peanuts while you wait. Or perhaps download the app that works with the drinks machine to mix your own soft drinks. Hours of sugar based entertainment. The food when it arrives is worth the wait. Burgers are big, juicy and tasty. The small was enough for the adults and too much for our 8yr old. Fries are generous and crisp. The spicy sprinkle for the fries lifts them to another level and is spicy enough that you need the milkshake. Avoid adding the bacon option to the milkshake. That's just wrong but the rest of it is good and you should go for something between the low end and a pub meal. Enjoy!

First time at this chain today for myself and hubby! Little confused when ordering as what extras we wanted on burger only cause never seen it like this before! But I had the cheeseburger and hubby bacon cheeseburger and we shared a regular Cajun fries as the very nice server said a portion was enough and it was! Burgers were absolutely yummy!! Very filling and really enjoyed! We shared a drink which I found very tasteless the Coke Zero was but apart from that highly recommend...

Yes it is not as cheap as other burger chains however non of the food is frozen and it tasted great, well worth the money I paid and I have been a few times, them fries are gorgeous.

This was our second time at five guys, previously had burger and fries, this time three of us had burger and fries nd one had the hotdog with cheese and bacon. Once again not disappointed, the service and friendliness of the staff outstanding. Not and cheap burger but well worth it.

Have always wanted to visit a five guys and this didn't disappoint!! Took a bit longer than expected for food to be made but was worth the wait. Burger was delicious (small cheeseburger is plenty for an adult with a large appetite) and regular fries huge! Will definitely be back - thanks for e fab service :)

So this is my fourth Five Guys restaurant and as always it's worth every penny. The service is always friendly, helpful and efficient.

This iconic US chain is a cut above the usual burger bar, with fantastic burgers and fries, just about any drink combination you can imagine, Not cheap but worth it if you want the best burger in town.

Take a credit card or small loan out and be prepared to pay over the odds for what is essentially burger and chips. Best part of 30 quid I paid today for 2 'meals'. It tasted alright but again...its burger and chips....its not special enough to charge that much so I wouldn't try to be something you're not....like i said, it's burger and chips...the world's gone mad

Friendly staff, Clean restaurant with a lot of seating, food in perfect serving size. WE love how you can have as many different topping with your dog or burger. Milk shakes were pleasant but could have had more taste to them. Definitely would return.

What can I say my daughter begged me for weeks to take her here, well I wished she had begged me sooner it was fantastic. When we arrived the young man who served us had a big smile and was very cheery. He advised us on what size fries as he said a regular would be enough for two. As we decided to split a burger instead of buying two he asked if we wanted it pre cut. We decided to order 1 large fries and one burger, he was right the large fries could feed 4. I would not normally give a tip in a burger shop but the service and attitude of the staff and the overall experience wads excellent. If you want a very tasty burger and good prices this is the place to go.

Did. It have a good experience at all me and my mum paid over £20 for 2 burgers one large fries and two drinks !!! What !? And I was really looking forward to this everyone was raving about it ....... Not sure why ? Our burgers where so greasy my hands where covers the bun was soggy and it made me feel sick from the amount of grease !! then the fries we got kids but they where the opposite so dry we couldn't eat them all I'm so disappointed and I haven't returned since this happened. Some people love it. It I could make a better burger at home !

chips were greasy and soft burger was ok the milkshake was really good best part of the meal but at 35 pounds for two it was to much for burger and chips

For my money Five Guys do the best burgers around. No dry beef patties here. If you like your burgers generously proportioned , juicy and with your choice of toppings this is the place. Yes its expensive for a burger meal but its worth it if your treating yourself to a burger.

In this current climate we all want to save a bit and being asked to pay £8 for a burger was a bit much. Well for my birthday we were in town and the wife offered to pay. I couldn't turn it down. I will say that you pay for quality and that's what I got, the burger was emence! The chips Cajun style were awesome and the staff were really friendly. Prices I paid are below but as I said, it's worth it. This is not your standard fast food. It's cooked fresh and tastes awesome hence the slightly higher prices. Cheese and bacon burger 8.95Cajun regular chips 4.00Refilliable drink regular 2.95Worth a try if you can spend out!

Probably the best quality burgers and chips from an outlet place you can find. Restaurant seating is on two levels so there is more than you first see when entering which is good as it does get busy

Me and my wife love this place for lunch. Never fails to please. Food was fresh and amazing. Can seem expensive at first (£7.00 for a burger) but you soon realise it is worth it when you eat them.Only complaint this visit was the self service drinks machine only had a limited choice of drinks (coke or diet coke no different flavours etc).

One of my favourite place to go. Kids absolutely love it !! We go there at least one a month....happy times

Had wanted to try Five Guys for some time as heard the burgers were great.Service was fine although the music was very loud but the food was a terrible disappointment. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a cold drink and I had a cheeseburger - both the burgers and toppings were tasteless and I finished up having to use a tiny little plastic knife and fork to pick up the cheeseburger which had disintegrated into a million little pieces.The portions were generous but no hot drinks served although I was told I could buy a coffee from a neighbouring eatery and bring it in. I think you are paying for the brand name, definitely not the food.

Not cheap, if you wish to compare with high street multinationals, but good burgers, cooked to order with your choice of 15 toppings included in the price.Probably not for those visiting with small children or appetites, as they'll not appreciate the experience. The fries are good, skin on, but huge portions; don't be afraid to share!The peanuts are great, and it is fun to choose your soda from the vast selection in the machine.Be aware that you need to pay to park.

My family and I recently visited Five Guys to celebrate my boys birthday.. We all had Bacon Burgers. Us 3 Adults had our burgers with all sorts of fillings but the kids only wanted onions and ketchup. we all had fries and we all had a milkshake. The bill was just short of £95.OMG was my reaction... to be honest, Five guys is a glorified Burgerkingand Burgerkings burgers taste better.The fries portion sizes are absolutely terrible for the £5 and £8 mark up prices..And the staff we not very friendly either... For a first time visiting customer the server did not even tell us about the freebies.. which we were told about by friends the next day?So if your planning a visit... Be prepared for an expensive burger

Great place in a location where there aren't a wide choice of good quality burgers! I just get a bacon cheeseburger with small fries and that will fill you up, it's much more expensive than your regular fast food burger joint but at least you know you're not eating pure artificial garbage, their burgers taste great! I like that you can choose what to toppings you want as well, I like to keep it simple. Those with a peanut allergy beware, everything is done in peanut oil and they serve complementary peanuts. They also have those fizzy drink machines which you can choose from a wide range of flavours (mix and match).

We discovered Five Guys while in the US a number of years back. Delighted and not disappointed when they moved here. Don't go there for a cheap burger and chips. Go there for a REALLY tasty burger with loads of trimmings and great chips. It's not cheap, but it is really worth it as a treat.

Five Guys is one of my favourite places to go eat in the local area. The food is great, the portion sizes are huge, if you're a big eater it's ideal. The drinks machine has I think over 60+ different flavours of soda.The only negative I have to say about Five Guys is the price!! It's much more expensive than say the equivilant from Burger King or McDonalds however the quality of food is far superior so that can be excused, also you don't do it everyday!The facilities are nice inside to eat in, modern and fresh with good lighting; located in a central location to Harlow Town Centre should you wish to go shopping afterwards. Access to parking from the Multi-Storey also.I love Five Guys!

The first thing that hits you here is seeing the prices on the menu. They are ridiculous and are not worth it.When ordering you have the choice of many toppings and they help flavour a really bland burger. All over they have signs up saying that they are fresh and made only using mince, but this just means they are simply a plain burger that is bland, and you need sauce and toppings to make it worthwhile.The one good thing here is the chips, which with the cajun spice are actually pretty tasty. Unlimited soft drinks are available too, but this often means queuing whilst other people fill up.Service times are a bit slow, but they do cook fresh to order so this is excusable.

Served by James, pleasant young lad, got a milkshake bloody gorgeous but I dont think i would go there to eat only because the music is so loud i would have to shout plus outrageous prices on the burgers.

This was our first visit to a Five Guys and we weren't disappointed. Quick and friendly service. Food was very tasty and well presented, especially the milkshakes which were a meal in themselves! Finally, the restaurant was very well presented and clean. It is obviously more expensive than some other burger joints, but it is so worth the price. Will definitely go back.

Possibly the best fast food burger I've ever had, cooked to perfection! Can't wait to return, next time I'll go for the smaller burger so I have room for a milkshake, they looked amazing. One word: YUM!!

Visited this place for the first time a few weeks ago.I have to say the food was lovely and it was the best burger I've had in a long time.The only thing that lets it down is the price.There were 4 of us and it came to over £60 for burger and chips and a drink.Very very expensive.

Had one of the tastiest burgers and fries in Harlow. Great friendly service and huge variety of drinks. The kids loved it.

To start off this it isn't cheap to eat here, not like McDonalds or Burger King but what you do get is a good quality burger or hot dog made with ingredients you can understand and excellent, massive portions of fresh fries either non salted, salted or spicy...and free peanuts...don't forget the free peanuts!I have been to the Harlow establishment around 5 times now and have always been impressed with the customer service, quality and size of portions and the cleanliness of the place.Food is always served hot and fresh and within 10 minutes.I love the drinks machines as they do a lot of American stuff like fruit punch which is very difficult to get in the UK.I have only ever had one issue which was my burger had only one pattie. I mentioned it to the serving staff and without question they immediately cooked me a brand new fresh burger. Great customer service.Will definitely be returning.

If there's one thing I love it's a good burger,and this place didn't deliver the quality I was after. It was probably the 2nd worst burger I've tried in my time,absolutely no flavours whatsoever. I would've been better off going to MacDonalds to be honest.The price was reasonable,the burgers were of a decent size too. It's just a shame it was flavourless.1st time there and probably my last unfortunately.

Took family there in may 2016, Burgers are fantastic, best i have had in ages and freshly prepared, dont over order on fries you get plenty. 1 large portion and one regular portion between 2 adults and 3 kids was way too much

Cracking burgers and fries but very expensive, I can see why the restaurant is empty. Had a great take away the burger was juicy and full of flavour. Fries with Cajun spice are blinding.

First visit to five guys. The burger was really tasty and fresh. The portion of chips was huge so would get next size down next time.The music however was deafening! At the risk of sounding old lol but im in my 30s and it was sooooo loud couldnt have a convo with my friend lolIt is expensive for a burger and chips but as a treat every now and then its worth it!

Had a beautiful burger and fries at this restaurant, the burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were cooked with the skin on, followed by a delicious strawberry milkshake.My only criticism is the prices are slightly high , but I guess you get what you pay for! And I found the music a little too loud.Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice burger and fries but for 15-17 quid it's a bit much. Would rather a Burger King and spin the change in roulette machine

Title is a bit of a misnomer as we both had the cheese hot dog, me with added bacon. Truly excellent, cooked to order, given a ticket (like Argos!) and done in around 5 minutes. over a dozen different toppings offered, all free, and you could have them all. Fries have their skins on, milk shake had tons of bits of fruit, really nice. Medium priced fast food but runs rings around McD for flavour if you have a few extra pennies to spend. Looking at past reviews, 5 guys are criticised for the price difference here and in the US. You have to shake your head as they have pitched the price for the UK market. Go eat at Burger King if you want to spend just over a tenner for 2, I will happily pay double that for bigger, tastier and fresher food.

Only in the UK would an American fast food place get away with charging a 100% mark up on the equivalent price of a burger served in its US branch! Self service and burgers are not even served on plates. Poor experience overall for such pricey burgers.

Yum yum , one of the best fast food burgers I've had, tastes really great, a little expensive but worth it, liked all the topping choices for free, the gherkins were really good old fashioned taste, not vinegary , had the Cajun chips they were great only really need one medium portion for two adults as they give you loads. The milkshakes are amazing all different flavours so tasty, the peanut butter was great .Nice relaxing clean decor , staff really friendly,

Ive eating Five Guys for at least 6 years whilst out in America and they are without a doubt the best Burgers and fries in a bag i have tasted ! BUT a huge difference to the U.S.A and U.K branches are the price ! In America they are so much cheaper , I paid around $9 works out around £6 for a burger , fries and a coke compared to £14 over here for the same thing !So I treat myself and daughter now and then here in the U.K but when I am in America I eat it all the time :-)

The burgers they serve here are the best burgers in Harlow but the price is astonishing. I paid £14 for a burger meal with chips and a milkshake which is a bit too much. And the milkshake was horrendous because I ordered a salted caramel milkshake and they put bacon bits in it . Not nice at all.

I know its not McDonalds, but it is a fast food restaurant, and £25 for 1 adult, 1 kids, 1 chips, 1 milkshake and a coke is a bit steep imho. Especially irritating is when they add the tax on at the end. If it's a takeaway surely this is zero VAT? Also it was brighter than the sun in there and the music was too loud. The burger was ok, but would like the option of plastic cutlery so that it can be eaten without ending up looking like a caveman.

Thought the prices looked a bit steep for what the place looked like (like a fast food joint), but as soon as I took a bite of the burger I understood. You can't really describe a brilliant burger in a way that anyone is going to want to read, so all I can say is give the place a try. Amazing. Chips weren't bad either.

I really can't fault this place - the burgers themselves are juicy and tasty, with good quality meat, the portions very generous (I ended up with pretty much a whole other portion of fries in the bottom of my bag), and the drinks bottomless.I initially balked a little bit at the idea that my burger, fries and a drink came to £14, but once I'd tasted it, all such thoughts disappeared like smoke in the wind... Yes, it's counter service like McDonalds but that's where similarities end - the ambiance, food and service are all lightyears ahead.As I left, I wandered past Frankie and Benny's and took a look at their menu out of curiosity - £13 for a burger and chips (no drink). Given the quality of other food I've tried in F&B's, I think in comparison that makes Five Guys looks very reasonable.

After a production at the nearby Harlow Playhouse both parents and 2 teenagers popped into Five Guys just 5 mins before scheduled closing time. Warm and efficient greeting without any hint of a hurry to get us processed and out. Excellent burgers ordered, really tasty and fresh and made as we wanted. Good milkshakes. Ate in. Definitely will be back.

Had lunch at Five Guys Harlow. Best Burgers by far. Have visited the Cambridge one and food quality is identical and fantastic. They have not long been doing the lovely Five Guys Milkshakes. Cherry and Chocolate delicious. Highly recommended.Expensive but worth it. Beats the cheaper chains by miles.

I have been here a few times over the past year and tried all of the few items on the menu(very limited) I have even tried most of the weird drink flavours and there are a lot of them. I would recommend a cheese burger with bacon and the works. The only issue is £15 for a burger and fries more if you want a drink

Think of the best burger you have had Stateside, then bring that memory back to the UK and you have Five Guys. Unbelievable choice in toppings, fries to die for and now new shakes. This really is the best burger chain in the UK, and beats anything and everything else in Harlow. Just go with an empty stomach.

I've past this place many times and wondered what the fuss was about, menu was confusing felt dumb asking if there was a meal deal but there wasn't.I went for a small burger (accurate description) and a drink cost £7 plus.. The food was ok but didn't come with BBQ which I had asked the pretty waitress to do

So I must admit... I'm not a 'burger' person. Once got food poisoning many years ago and have avoided ever since. However, we went here by accident and was completely shocked to see the cost of about £8 for a burger only! Not a meal with fries and drink... Just the burger! So I thought I actually must try one... For £8 it had better be amazing and yes.... It actually was! I have certainly been converted to a 'Five Guys Burger' person... Try it and see

Went here for lunch last week and although the food is nice it's not worth the money u pay for it the little burgers are perfectly big enough to fill you up.... £4 for some chips is a bit extreme I think....The food is nice but I can't justify over £20 with a shared drink for 2 people at a burger shop

First the negatives: price, somewhat expensive for what it is, girl serving was extremely hard to understand, particularly with the music in the background.Positives, food was reasonably nice, very big premises and lots of space, decently sized portions. I didn't feel exactly overwhelmed by this place but didn't feel I'd wasted my money.

Great atmosphere, super tasty food that's actually made fresh rather than left to stay warm for hours on end! Friendly service & free peanuts, Will be going back :)

Love this place, the burger was as good as expected (based on visits to US stores), the fires were ok but the Milkshake was awesome!I'll definitely be going back on my next trip to Harlow.

First and last time I will visit.To say I was disappointed is to put it mildly.Way over priced £43-00 for four burgers and four drinks.Were advised that Four lots of fries would be to many.So we were given a large helping.served in a half litre drink container the other half put in the bag with rest of order.I was charged £5-00 later being told fries come with burglar,so should not have been charged.I have visited better roadside snack vans.

Great burger, delicious fries. Only issue was they got the order wrong probably because we couldn't hear each other over the music when placing the order.

I discovered the Five Guys Burgers in the UK and have been wanting to go back ever since. The burgers are excellent, the taste is very different from other burgers I tasted and the vegetables are so fresh. If you never had them and you love burgers, just try them, they are delicious. The price is a little bit more expensive than others, but it is worth it!

Expensive but Amazing! Ordered the double cheeseburger thing loaded with everything. It was incredible. You really don't need to order fries. Quick, friendly service.

There weren't 5 guys serving and there didn't need to be as on a Wednesday night there were few customers. I had a take away to eat in my hotel nearby. Decided not to have the fries in the interests of reducing the mega calories but instead just has a standard burger. What can I say nothing to write home about as a standard burger with toppings at no extra charge. About £8. There were free groundnuts to eat whilst waiting for the burger which was cooked in front of you. Very friendly staff including the rather outsize cashier. Clean but a clinically decor. Not bad

First time i have ever been to five guys, my daughter and her husband kept telling me about this place, they live in Welwyn garden city and i live on Merseyside so this place has not reached up north yet, I ordered the cheese burger and you get to choose whatever toppings you require from the board, i added Mayo onion mushrooms and lettuce i also had the bacon topped hotdog, Wow it was the best burger i have ever tasted and the hotdog was also wonderful, we shared a portion of fries because it was the biggest portion i had ever been served you also get as much cold drinks as you require with so many different flavours. I cannot wait for them to be serving these burgers on Merseyside, A nice touch was the free peanuts in shells for you to nibble while you wait,

The burgers here are awesome. Yes you pay more than your average take away but the food is fresh, tasty and cooked while you wait. I love the coke machine, you can have vanilla, raspberry and lots of other different flavoured coke and diet coke.The staff are friendly and efficient.It's a bit calorific so couldn't do it all the time but it's a great spot when you just need a really good burger.

Great burgers cooked to order with a large variety of salad and other extras to add if wanted, also really liked the fries, cooked in skins. Amazing drinks machine with 100's of options of flavours. Slightly overpriced as not really gourmet burgers but nice for a treat.

Great burgers and the options to garnish your burger with are amazing. We visited here a few days ago as an in prompt dinner. I didn't really know what to expect but had heard good reviews. It is just like any normal burger chain in that you order at the counter and wait for your food to be freshly cooked especially for you. They have a great seating area so no worries you won't be able to find anywhere. The menu is simple but deciding what to add to your burger us a tough one as there are so many options. I was surprised that all burgers come well done as if these are proper minced meat you should be able to have them medium! Although they are still soft and juicy so there is no compromise in flavor! The chips are nice however very heavily seasoned with salt so don't add any additional. I will be back for a treat another day.

The burgers are good, but not £12 for a burger, fries and a drink good. They are ridiculously overpriced for what you get. We ordered 4 burgers and when they arrived only one of them was what we ordered. The others were so wrong that you would think they were for another customer but when we checked out receipt it turns out that the order taker just got it wrong. Very wrong. The drinks machines are amazing though. Lime Coke was to die for! Still, I'll be making my own burgers that taste as good but cost a tenth of the price of a 5 Guys burger.
