Kfc in Harlow

Ordered on just eat. It said delivered but the food isn’t here and there’s no way to contact KFC as their phone number doesn’t exist. Money down the drain.

I bought 10 pieces chicken and 4 fries 15/3/2024 the fries was over salty the sauce they used for the fries was like as if you dipped the fries in a bowl of salty sauce we couldn’t eat it and I returned it, no apology from them. One of the staff said some people like it like that☹️ It was like food poisoning. please parents test KFC Staple tye Harlow Essex foods before giving it to kids Not safe

Ordered takeaway tonight via Uber Eats and hour and 30 mins later they've cancelled my order after putting it further and further back since 7.45. Can't get answer on the phone so assume we won't get any form of compensation and we're left hungry!

So I saw the bad reviews here and wondered if things have improved, fancied a KFC so went down there to see for myself what it's like now. There were 5 workers and only 2 of them properly wore their masks covering both their mouth and nose. The eating area was filthy with wrappers, old food and dust all over the floor. The sign outside said 4 guests at a time but deliveroo/just eat/Uber eats delivery workers and guests continued to walk in despite there being over 8 people inside excluding the KFC workers, many of which also didn't wear masks properly or even at all. Social distancing was also not respected. None of the KFC workers told people to wait outside or put their masks on etc when the inside waiting and dining area was over double capacity. The only saving grace for me was that the food was mostly freshly cooked and tasted good. Not the best KFC I've ever had but it wasn't bad by any means. It wasn't left out on a hotplate for hours on end and served to customers like some poor KFC places do so that's good.

i’ve ordered here multiple times and each time the NEVER wear masks. they’re behind there cooking our food without masks, not only is it bad hygiene but terrible with covid at the moment, there’s always about 6 of them back their making our food all sweaty not wearing masks. the place is absolutely filthy. i took a photo of them and one of the man put his mask on cheekily after seeing me taking a photo. the communication is terrible there and horrible customer service.

I ordered chicken chips and gravyThe chips were so overcooked and the chicken was hard,it was almost as if if was left over from the day before and warmed up. I phoned and told the manager and he did say to thing it back and they would change it but it was already in the dog.Not the first time that the food from this branch has been awful.Wont ever use again

Possibly the worst takeaway experience I’ve had. I would’ve been able to hand raise a chicken then pluck and cook it in the time it took for them to deliver this cold excuse for a burger. The bun was so stale I’ve decided to take it to work tomorrow and use it as my new hammer and the lettuce was so dark and soggy it’s almost as if they prepared it on an actual iceberg. The sad congealed mass that I’m assuming was once gravy looks like something I might find in the toilet in the morning, I can’t say for the taste because it was so solid I physically couldn’t even dip the still frozen chips into it. Next time I’ll just eat the £15 cash, it would probably have more nutritional value and taste better.

Thought I would give KFC one last chance, so I ordered via Just Eat. Just Eat service was great. However, again, terrible service from KFC. Ordered their 12 piece dipping boneless box. I didn't realise that when ordering for delivery you only get half of what you order (half a box of popcorn and half a box of chips). I have no idea why this branch (Stype Tye, Harlow) cannot offer a semi decent service. Their machines are broken most of the time, they take ages to service you (so called fast food) and now they short change you when you use a delivery service.COME ON KFC, IT ISNT HARD TO OFFER A SEMI GOOD SERVICE. GET IT RIGHT!

22:54... Friday night, you would've expect to be busy if you're working such time at such place. However, luckily for us (and staff too I guess) it wasn't busy at all. But Clearly it wasn't Jamala's night tonight. Rude - no hello no manners. Started ordering 1meal (there was 2of us ordering for 3people) he thought we finished ordering and went to start prepping chips. We had to call him back and inform that we haven't finished ordering, so he came back with an attitude to then tell us there is no more gravy, then no more beans and then oh hold on, they are cooking, so gotta wait a few minutes. Cool. I do not have problem with that, however he did the rest of our meals and left them on the side. 4min later beans are ready, and we're decided to check it. We opened up the boxes and touched the fries and they were barely warm. We asked him for new ones. And again no sorry no nothing except for "it's gonna be 3min" we had to ask him ourselves to put the rest of the food under the light and again with an attitude he grabbed it. Finally chips are done, we get home, and guess what? wings are cold and there's no sparkling water either... Jamal mate, sort your attitude honestly

We decided to give them another chance after they didn’t deliver our meal at all. We ordered a meal but got a completely different meal to the one we ordered. This is unacceptable. Tried to call them but got no answer. Ordered through just eat but all they could say was order it again. Totally unacceptable and we will NEVER order from them again, EVER

Yet another kfc which doesn’t have a clue about the defence discount offer... unable to redeem ... same old kfc. You might as well just stop advertising it

Such a shame food was so bad, got the order wrong, that happens but food was cold and and was disgusting wish I had not wasted my money. Don't think I will return there

Ordered 10 piece bucket, got 9 pieces, ordered coleslaw, got beans Chips looked like a week old and burnt. Tried phoning the shop 4 times no one answered Disgusting food, only got 1 star as just eat was helpful

Went to this KFC restaurant at Staple tye, Harlow, after waiting 20 minutes to be served I finally ordered my meal, they started to get the meal ready then started serving another customer while they waited for more chicken, my food sat on the side for approx 10 minutes, when they finally tried to give me my foot I pointed out they had forgot the twister. They then placed my food on the side where it sat for a further 5 min. I then asked if my food is not going to be cold? The girl behind the counter agreed and said she had got to do my whole order again. I then waited another 5 min while they got the chicken ready, they then run out of chips and my food sat for another 5 min while they cooked the chips, finally I got my food and was on my way. When I got home it was then I realised we was 4 pieces of boneless chicken a 1 bag of chips and 1 drink missing.!!! How hard can it really be to do a variety bucket plus a twister meal. Defiantly wasn’t fast food!!

We thought we would give KFC another go after having a previous problem with the same store. Ordered a takeaway for myself and my partner using JustEat, Not only was it an hour late from the time it said, the fries and chicken strips were stone cold and rubbery (this shows how long they had probably been sitting on the side before delivery) no dips were included which it stated on the delivery receipt. Phoned the store to have a rude staff member who couldn’t care less and wasn’t willing to resolve any of the issues. He told us “staff members had forgot items” even though this was not the issue. We was also told to take our problems to JustEat themselves and see if they can resolve it. Absolutely ridiculous, we won’t be visiting or ordering from them again.

It's ok if you like really salty chips, and pink chicken meat, and like to eat them cold cos nothing was even warm!

I visited this branch this evening to get a quick and easy take away for my family. When I got there the shop was heaving with customer there was a bucket of chicken that had been dropped on the floor that no one came out to clear up, bearing in mind I was in the shop for around 15 to 20 minutes and was still there when I left. I eventually got served by the only cashier on the tills even tho there was 5 tills with only one member of staff serving. The young lady who served me was stressed out with all the orders coming in with high demands and no help from her co workers. When she asked for help she was greeted very angrily but her college who was no help at all and also the manager who was very rude and abrupt. I’m my opinion they need more staff and need to work with a smile on there faces as this makes customers fill very uncomfortable and is not great customer service. Doubt I’ll be returning.

I got my order quick. Food was brill for a take away. Staff were excellent. Girls are polite and quick.

cold chicken, soap in the coke, filthy dirty. sweetcorn was halfcooked, chips were burnt. staff gave me a funny look when I pointed out I prefered my chicken cooked.
