Sticky Sisters in Harlow

I came in on Sunday afternoon with my family and we had a lovely time. good options for kids and friendly staff. Food came out quickly dispute lots of other tables in and staff were very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely come again :)

I have not been here since lock down and I can say that sticky sisters has gotten better and better. It’s great to see some friendly familiar faces. They now have a huge variety of food to offer. The management service was outstanding Would highly recommend

I went into Sticky Sisters yesterday afternoon and the customer service was outstanding. The food was also cooked to a great standard and I do recommend coming here.

Having eaten there many of times the food is outstanding in a very clean environment, the service here was impeccable you know what I mean, I will definitely be returning to the store, the staff was very friendly and was very helpful

Went for lunch with hubby and son. Food was Luke warm despite being the only diners in there. I started to feel a bit unwell at the end of the meal only eating half of it. Both myself and my hubby didn’t make it out of the shopping area before running to the loos with upset stomach. We thought my son was ok until he threw up on the way home.

Should have really walked out when, at !3:45 on a Friday, noticed that no one was in here. No one, except the staff. Service was slow. Food was abysmal. I had a chicken salad, the chicken was dry, the croutons tasted like lip gloss. The starters, which were halloumi sticks, were overcooked. My daughters meal, chicken tenders and fries, the tenders were chewy & lukewarm the fires, some raw and also lukewarm. Obtained a refund for the salad, didn't with the other meal as my daughter had picked at it.

Server (Kieran) was really attentive and went out of his way to help us choose a hot sauce - he gave us plenty of samples and explained the menu to us. Food was freshly prepared for us quickly. Food was hot and large portions. Highly recommend.

We arrived at this place at around 2pm on a Saturday. First sign that we shouldn’t have gone here, it was dead. Very dead. When we got in there was perhaps one or two tables who had food already and that was it. We ordered our food and then waited, and waited... 25 minutes later I asked when it was likely to be ready and was told by one of the three employees standing around that “It will be another five minutes, we can’t cook it any quicker”. It’s deep fried!! How long does it take?! Eventually the food turned up and it served a purpose back was quite rubbish. Next time we’ll just go to McDonalds. Customer service training would be a good start for this place.

Popped in here with friends on a weekend a couple of weeks back as looked a nice place from the outside. I was really impressed with the quality of the food and the service we received. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s looking for a great dining experience.

Today I was going to the cinema opposite, and decided to have a small lunch beforehand. The customer service was brilliant, from all staff members I spoke with, and the food was tasty and arrived quickly. I also had a lovely champagne chocolate on leaving, a christmas gesture to all who ate there today, lovely touch. This was my first time there, and rould definitely return. Great stop off before seeing a film at the cinema or a treat. Plus i looked at family offers, kids during the week can eat for 3.99 which i thought was very good. Give ot a try. I'll be going back.

Went there last week, and so pleased we found it. Staff were sooooooo lovely, and the food was excellent. Special shout out to Kelly, who was superb! Definitely going back

What can I say, I had never come across this diamond in the rough before.. found it by chance and REALLY glad I did! .. great variety of fast food to choose from, freshly cooked, good portions... the establishment itself was clean, tidy and a good mix of people to create a nice atmosphere.. the icing on the cake on my day... that has to be a young lady named Kelly one of the managers I believe. She really could not do enough for me, charming, professional, knowledgeable about the ingredients.. she had it all.. great service.. and a wicked smile. I will most certainly be back... well done all top job 👍

We have been coming to sticky sisters for a long time. Today we was served by kelly and Kain and can I say what fantastic customer service we received and the food was exceptional. Today I was offered a loyalty card of which I accepted. I will be coming in regularly to use this as the food and customer service was absolutely spot on. I would definitely recommend.

The service was excellent, the food was awesome, my son and I absolutely loved it and will certainly come again regularly. Spoke with Kelly, the manager, who gave us a loyalty card 💳 and she was very lovely to speak with.

Came in Sunday Amie and Kelly were really friendly and kain was really nice he cooked are food service was lovely and staff amazing and food was delicious strongly recommend

Was in recently and really enjoyed our lunch, we both had the Aberdeen Angus burger. Staff were very welcoming and happy to help . Will certainly be back again

The worst takeaway I have ever received. Every item cold and inedible, tiny portions. Missing items and ice cream sent in a box so that it was leaking when arrived (ironically this was probably the warmest thing). When I called the resturant they said it was ok and only accepted to call me back when I threatened to report them to trading standards. when they did call me back they blamed everything on deliveroo - even the missing items and the manager was extremely rude, could not even manage a sorry! DO NOT EAT HERE - I would not feed this to my dead dog.

We came today the restaurant was really quiet. The menu was varied and reasonably priced.

I can honestly say that this is the worst restaurant that I have ever been to!

Over priced, no flavour, rude staff, dirty cutlery and made me very unwell. Would not recommend AT ALL!!

Went here for lunch. Its very dark, the decor is nice but there is sn over whelmjng smell of fried oil which was sort of off putting. Never mind tho let's get to the food.

The food was fine, sweet potato fries undercooked but the service was absolutely awful. We were the only people in there and was still asked where we were seated when we went to order. Twice had to ask for our drinks, my boyfriend went to collect his beer only to be told it would be brought over when it was ready and even then it was flat. Ordered another - still flat. Staff didn’t care at all about anything. Another couple came in to be seated and we watched the three members of staff avoid them and hide in the back till they left. We then asked for a refund for the beer only tol be told that the lady couldn’t work out how to do a refund and was offered two bottles of beer instead. Truly can’t understand how they manage to stay open with staff attitudes like that. Definitely wouldn’t go again and wish we hadn’t bothered in the first place. Also, not all sauces available.

Portions small and expensive for what it is. Chicken had unpleasant smell. Chicken wings were inedible. Sriracha fries were nice but that was the only thing that was.

It was empty.. should have been a sign. No music until we were finished it came on.

So myself & my boyfriend had always walked passed this place when going to the cinema & always wanted to try it. So when my friends were visiting we took the opportunity & thought we would try here! I wish I had read the reviews about this place first!

Where do I begin. We have been here 3 times and every time it has been empty. The staff have no people skills or training. Food had wrong sauce put on it. I waited over 30 mins for a cup of coffee. Finally I went and asked where it was. Every time we have been here its always poor service. Never again will we be going back here

This place needs a lot of work. Almost the 25 sauces taste like vinegar and need to be improved. I won’t be back.

Probably the worst restaurant I have been to. Third time in coming here. Not at all impressed. Had to ask where my coffee was as i had waited for 20 minutes for it. Not at all bizzy. Only 3 tables where in use. The staff have no idea. My chicken was cold on arrival. Never again will we come here. The food was appalling. My husband's rice was clumpy and his chicken was very dry. This restaurant could be extremely good in the right hands and with the right management.

I have been here a couple with my girlfriend and have always found it very quiet and empty. We came to look at other reviews and I’m surprised at the negativity so I thought I’d stick my 2 pence in on some positives on the place.

We found the menu confusing there is too much going on. Service got better the longer we dinned there. We ordered the platter for 3. The food was hot and really good. So we do recommend it.

I can only assume it was a frozen burger. Definitely not fresh and definitely not 100% Angus beef. To charge £7 for a frozen burger is a joke. First and last time I we eat there.

I popped in here to have lunch before shopping. The staff are friendly and the service was ok.

We were disappointed by the taste of the burgers. I got the chicken burger and my husband the one with chopped beef meat (I don’t remember the name) and neither of them tasted good.

Really wouldn't waste your time or money food was awful staff seemed badly trained ordered two burgers one with cheese got cheese on both, burger tasted strange and was served in a brown roll. The bottomless drinks with 100+ flavour combinations didn't exist I was told the reason for this is because the machine wasn't making them any money so got a plastic bottle of coke instead really wish I went to burger priest across the road will not be going back.

Our waiter was very helpful and the food tasted great. Also really liked the drinks machine. The choice of sauces are all tasty, even the blow your head off one.

I visited sticky sisters today for the first time today and it will be my last, my order was taken incorrectly, I was not made aware of the special offers that would have saved me 6 pounds off my bill, the chicken was burnt, the fries were cold and even though the staff were standing around with nothing to do there was no tissue paper in the toilet. I will not be returning to this restaurant ever

My boyfriend loves spice so I thought he'd like sticky sisters, but the hottest sauce they had left him a bit flat. I tried it to see if it really was that tame (I hate spice and am a wimp for chilli) but even I could happily eat it without flinching.

Do not eat here. The chicken was clearly re-heated, cold in places and burning in others! I sent it back, second chicken just as bad The whole place is run by children!

Service was very good although the food was not. Had to send the chicken wings back and ask for a refund they just was not tasty at all. The squid was nice... Burger wasn't the best.

Inside was grubby and the tables were sticky.

I decided to try this place with my wife, wow what value for money. The £5 lunch time deal. It was amazing, good value for money. We have been back since. Food wise a nice whole meal bun. And fresh salad. It comes with seasoned fries and unlimited top up drink. Well done sticky sisters best value in Harlow town. I don't understand previous reviews it's good value and does what it says

Went to Sticky Sisters for Lunch with my wife on first trip out after knee replacement surgery, knee was really painful, so the food must have been good as for a brief period of time I forgot about the pain. The Waiter/Server was very helpful.

Went in March with my family during what should be peak time. Found an empty restaurant (should have walked out then). Took our seats and picked an order. When I went to order, the young lad serving me didn’t understand my order despite it being straightforward and I had to repeat myself several times. When our orders came, we ended up with three portions of fries which we hadn’t ordered, but had been charged for (apparently even though the menu says you can choose which side you want, you have to have fries). In fairness, we queried this and they did refund us... not without trying to overcharge us by £8.

Poor food, worse service, dreadful staff. There does not appear to be any management input. Stay away!

We waited 55 minutes and counting for our food before we gave up and got a refund and left so we didn’t miss our cinema showing. There were only 4 other people in the restaurant so I’m not sure I bought the understaffed excuse. We had to go next door for a Burger King ☹️

This was possibly the worst meal I have ever had and to be honest I'm a pretty bad cook. How they managed to get a grilled chicken salad wrong is beyond me. The lettuce was ok but that was about it, the chicken was rock hard and the cheese looked and tasted like it had been left out on the side for about 3 days. The Caesar sauce done a very good impression for a bottle of vinegar. My husband bless him will eat anything I serve him but even he thought it was terrible. He had chicken wings and chips. Anemic, dry, bland and enough to put you off chicken wings for life was the best description my husband could give. We should of took the clue from the lack of people in there including staff that it was bad but you live and learn. Needless to say it is one restaurant we will never be going back to and I certainly will be telling my friends not to as well.

The drinks are expensive, food is a decent price but the menu does seem very confusing. For example you could get chips with ‘special rub’ but how are you meant to know what that is? The service was decent, nothing really special about the food though, nothing like nandos.

Visited this afternoon and ordered 2 mains. There were only 4 occupied tables and we still had to wait 30 minutes for our food. I asked about the garlic bread I was supposed to get free with my meal, and was told they had run out. We heard one waitress swear whilst in discussion with another table. The food was ok but the service is terrible. We counted atleast 5 people working in the kitchen, so why orders were mixed up and such a long wait for 2 basic mains is beyond me. We were refunded 50% of our bill. Whilst we were waiting for our refund at the till, another table were getting a full refund aswell for the issues with their meal. I'd be surprised if this restaurent isn't running at a loss with the amount of staff present and all the refunds going on. Such a shame as has potential.

I have been a few times now and it has been improving each time.

What can I say this place is rank . Very confusing menu. And the food is disgusting . burnt tasteless rotten chicken .don’t wast your money people .

This new restaurant is perfectly positioned right opposite the cineworld in the Harvey centre. However the food served can be best described as average,the various sauces on offer all seemed exciting,however unlike the other more famous 'chicken' restaurant the sauce wasn't cooked into the chicken,served just as a dipping pot. The portion sizes of the dishes we chose were all rather small,although the price reflected this. Wouldn't feel the need to rush back.

So first off the restaurant was empty for a sat night which should have have been a give away! There were 6 of us in total we ordered together at the till. On arrival they told us there was no more butterfly chicken. 4 people got their food (2 of which never came with the garlic bread which is meant to be served with wraps) the chicken wraps had barely any chicken, was basically a salad wrap! 15 mins later the last 2 meals arrive. One meal given was wrong, sent it back. Then waitress tells us they have now run out of what we ordered. We then just have to share our meal as we no longer have time to order something else and wait for it to be cooked as pre ordered cinema tickets.

Went here with friends and the restaurant was suspiciously empty considering it was lunch time. My husband and I both ordered boneless chicken wings (not wings...chicken nuggets at best) they were salty and when they arrived the sauces weren't labelled so we had to guess who's was who's and it took almost ten minutes to get the coleslaw we had also ordered. My friends had to wait a lot longer for their food and everything was mixed up including one of the hottest sauces which was given to someone who had ordered a mild sauce. The person who ordered fries ended up with someone elses sweet potato fries and that person waited a very long time for their food while we all ate ours. We were given some donuts free to apologise but they didn't get eaten as they were awful. The manager apologised and said they were short staffed but it was only us and another table in the whole restaurant so not exactly taxing!

Extremely pleasant staff however it is pretty slow on food but is understandable as it is a newly opened stored very nice food just got to give them a chance to fully train everyone as it is a new store

Having lived in Harlow for 11 years, I rarely eat out here and tend to go back to North London for good eats. There are a few of the better chains in town, but it’s a bit boring.

If I could give a 0 rating I would. Avoid. Poor service. Poor food. Poorly run.

This restaurant is average at best. Visited during its first couple of weeks of trading on a Thursday evening. The staff were friendly although very stretched with only one waitress and one cashier. The food was well priced, however portion sizes weren’t great for all dishes. We had the nachos to start which were very tasty and a promising start to the meal. However the food then came out in a very muddled order with starters, sides and mains all mixed. The chicken was average, the sauces however were tasty. I don’t suggest getting the wedges, however the chips with special rub were pleasant. We treated ourselves to a malt shake however I thought this was overpriced and disappointing. Very runny and too chocolatey in my opinion. I couldn’t fault the girl on the cashier who was very helpful and pleasant. Overall the meal was ok, however I wouldn’t rush back. Improvements would definitely be the quality of the chicken (as this is their main selling point) and the speediness of serving (especially as the restaurant wasn’t even half full)
