Came in to 5 guys as it was pouring with rain and it was the nearest place to eat and seemed quiet ....now I know why it was quiet ...I've never been before and thought let's see what the hype is ....WoW ! The service was diabolical ,food was just left on counter without us being aware it was ready , on opening the brown bag they give it you in the chips were just thrown loosely into the bag ,they looked like potatoe peelings not fries ,the burgers were wrapped in what looked like previously used tin foil the burgers were flavourless and enviroment you eat you meal in was shocking ! Tables filthy and the bathroom you need your wellies to take a wee ,to top this off they charge you a small fortune for the experience ! Ffs even dick Turpin had the desencey to wear a mask when he robbed people lmao on a positive the free monkey nuts were salty 🧂 😂

One of the worst dining experiences I had was with my spouse in Birmingham. We were served a terribly awful meal, including completely burnt chips that were inedible and had a very bad and low-quality oil smell. I am truly disappointed with the Five Guys brand." --

First the good… the burger was delicious, and 5 guys burgers do have a unique taste. But a couple of things sadly spoiled my visit. 1 it took 20 minutes for a burger and fries, and the place was half empty… speaking of half empty oh dear, my portion size of fries was pathetic, given that 5 guys are noted for they’re fries and are usually highly generous with them this left me feeling pretty disappointed. (See photo!) Will think twice before going again.

Mondays 2am. Pop in whilst shopping. Had them several times before and had enjoyed them. Maybe because it was Monday and after the dinner time rush. Fries were cold Burger ok. Is it me or are they smaller than they used to be. But I am talking 5 yrs ago

First time at five guys, have avoided previously due to higher prices, but were too hungry to avoid this time. Liked the menu which allowed you to create your own burger with a large choice of fillings, very clever. Lovely burger, very messy too. I am no expert but found the fries superior to Mc Donalds and a generous portion too, unlimited drinks refills were a nice touch. Service was a little slow but I enjoyed watching the food being prepared. A positive experience which I will repeat in the future.

I’ve never been to five guys before. Quite interesting. Love all the soft drink options. Liked the burger but it’s really messy to eat with the fillings in. Bun I thought was a bit dry. I enjoyed the concept.

I ordered on uber eats from resort world could not kind it on TripAdvisor so I had to leave the complaint here please don't hate me for this bull ring location nevertheless I received my order I ordered a cheese dog a cheese burger and medium Cajun fries I also added to the order ketchup on the side and mayo aswell upon receipt of delivery I opened bag and see small portion of fries in bag but I paid for medium with topper which essentially means I should receive double the quality of a medium frie I'm a five guys regular by the way I know what standard are and portion size as my favourite location is Solihull branch I than called up the store to make a complaint and manager answered and after I told him I'm missing my medium fries topper and that my sauces were not sent he rudely dismissed everything I just complaint about was not apologetic about the mistake from their end and just said call Uber eats in a rude tone and hung the phone up I'm left outraged as I can't process the refund on uber eats due to the store not supporting that option for customers I'm highly disappointed at my experience with five guys this time.

This place is SO overrated & Overpriced. I went there because all of my friends were sayings is it soooo amazing, you will LOVE it! So after church, I decided to go. I saw the prices online and it said it was $6 for a burger and $2 for some fries. WOW that was way off, it was $11 a burger and a small fry was $5, I don't know who they think they are charging that much money. The wait was about 9 minutes AND they forgot my fries, the employees were very rude when I told them they forgot my fries, Im an introvert so that was very nerve-racking for me. I was expecting the cheeseburger to taste AMAZING, but it tasted very similar to Rally's cheeseburger, so it was average, NOT worth $11. The fries were ok but not the best, thanks for the experience, but I think I will stick with Chick-fil-A.

Five Guys outlets are fairly consistent in my experience and the one in Birmingham City Centre was no exception, Good place for quick bite (though service slower than most burger chains) and a bonus for those like my wife who has a rapeseed allergy as Five Guys cook using peanut oil. It is one of the very few fast food outlets where she can enjoy a portion of fries. Very busy place, but service was friendly and attentive.

As someone who is a big time burger lover I don’t understand why so many people like Five guys. Their burgers are decent however the price you are paying for that burger is insane. Their chips are okay. The only good thing about Five guys is they give free peanuts and their chips are done in peanut olive. There are better burger joints. out there.

A burger restaurant that's a level or two above e.g. Burger King and McDonald's. Really delicious burgers that are filling, and really good milkshakes. Plenty of options to put your burger together exactly the way you want it. Quick serving. A great place where we would like to come again next time we're in Birmingham.

Very nice burger and american-style fries. Enjoyed very much as a tourist to birmingham from elsewhere in the country. Only thing withholding it from five stars is the smaller portion size than other chains in the country, not only this but the wait time was quite long.

Never had a five guys in my life but had heard all the hype from a friend who's son had progressed up the five guys ladder to one of the regional managers. All I heard was this was the best and that was the best and the buns were special artisan buns, the patties handmade every day and the fries were outstanding. So when Tunbridge Wells gets a five guys I'm thinking this is it. So first day of opening and in I go. My taste buds on Def Con 5. Not really sure what I'm going to get so I opted for a hamburger with three toppings and regular fries. My friend went for something slightly different but still a burger and small cajun fries, plus he got a drink and the drinks machine had clearly been built by NASA as it was simply superb. Anyway, we get back to the office and I try my fries expecting these super fries I had been told all about to blow me away and they were nothing like I was expecting. Seasoning, what seasoning??? But I'm hungry but disapointed so I have a few more then reveal my burger under the foil which presentation wise was lovely. So I took my first bite and was thinking this is a bit bland. Took another bite and nothing is any different. I cleared my pallet and took a piece of the pattie out with nothing on it and it was like eating a piece of cardboard. There was no flavour. So here I am really disappointed, so I send an e-mail using the QR code on the receipt mentioning the lack of seasoning and get a reply stating that the burgers aren't seasoned as they don't need to as the flavour comes from them being cooked in their own juices. The fries I was told had a light coating of salt. So light I could not taste it. Why on earth would you not season your burgers. So my advice is if you want to pay £12.90 for bland burger and chips be my guest but I will not be going back and if anybody asks me for my opinion I would say got to Maccie D or BK as you will have a better experience.

Visited here, hungry and without expectations, having never tried Five Guys before. Cashier was friendly, helpful, and knew their menu sizes - we were glad to have a decent portion for two, (regular fries) recommended, without being oversold the large size. Burger was pretty great - crispy bacon just right. Drinks make sense once you've used the machine once - and unlimited refills don't leave you thirsty! Satisfied, felt full and not overcharged.

This was my first visit to a Five Guys restaurant, so I didn't know what to expect. The guy who served us was pleasant and very helpful explaining portion sizes and food availablity. I really liked the fact that there was a really good range of toppings you could choose for your burger all without extra charges. The burger was delicious and the chips some of the best I've had from a fast food restaurant. I would certainly consider eating at Five Guys again.

After taking my order from what looked like an incredibly ambitious menu, you’d think they’d be on it with what they sell. Wasn’t told if it gets sent to my table or if I have to collect it, so I assumed I had to wait there. Waited about 3 minutes for my food, watching them ‘cooking’ right there. They were the slowest group of kids with no sense of urgency. I am a very patient person so gave them the benefit of the doubt. After around 20 minutes I got my bag of my order. I ordered a milkshake and that didn’t come with it. Nothing was said about it. So I waited assuming they knew. Nobody was attempting to make my milkshake, and my food was getting cold. After a while I asked one of them when I could get their attention and they didn’t seem to know what I had ordered. Then a boy went to make my milkshake, stopped halfway through to take someone’s order at the till! Then went in the back and never finished making my shake! I got someone’s attention again and asked where my shake was. He seemed oblivious again and said ‘oh there’s one here’ and put it on the counter, with no check as to whether it was infact mine or not. No apology or anything. Awful, slow, snail like service from people who don’t care.l about customer service and are in the wrong job. Food was soggy after all that. Won’t be going again, shame I couldn’t give them zero stars.

Visited Thursday 20th May, about 20:00. Asked for Hamburger with all the salad except cucumber. Picked up the burger and had to go directly to catch my train. When go on the train and opened the burger it had not salad on just burger with some sauce on it. Very disappointed! Have been before and loved it.

Take Away in Birmingham.To be honest the burger patty itself is quite nice. Their USP of potato traceability is bit much!!Five Guys use the addition of many fillers to stack the burger out to appear value for money, which if taken away the price is really expensive. Clever marketing Five GuysI don't often eat take aways but during the current pandemic no other option in some cities.

First time I visited five guys, the expectations were high, but very disappointing after all. I have been not pleased with the service. When ordering the host was so rude and verbally aggressive when I just asked some questions, or if they have any promotions available. Her name is Rozeen, no mask, no gloves, when she gave the cups for drinks she managed to put her fingers in the cups.Another lady was behind me ready to order when she told her that in order to be served, she needs to complete the details for track and trace, nothing wrong. Still, the woman was having problems understanding how the app works, and she had no patience to explain to her, so the lady left. Somebody needs to teach her some customer service. Tasty food, but overpriced.

Burger, chips, refillable drinks and peanuts! What's there not to love? Burger was juicy, I had everything from the top row, the best way to enjoy the tasty beast! The fries were nice and big, dipped in the special sauce and you have yourself a winner!

Food is average for the price you pay. GBK is far superior and i honestly don’t know how they get away with charging so much

Came here sat night and took forever to get our food, just seems no rush to serve. I will credit on hygiene though as all wore gloves and changed them regularly. Expensive though for what it is, a burger.

I have tried a London Five Guys before which I didn't think was very good value so up in Birmingham in the Bullring I thought I would give them another chance. I wish I hadn't bothered. I paid £13 for a burger and fries with a drink which was massively over-priced. The burger was fresh and there were two patties - I would qutie happily have settled for one but there didn't seem to be an option. I wanted some extra hot sauce - fro which I was charged extra but I couldn't see it (they guy taking the order assured me he would put it on the side???). It was fast food that's for sure and the chips were good but not that good - I wont be returning.

Visited this restaurant all I can say is a very average if that burger thats very over priced, yes you get a large choice of items to add to the burgers, but it hasn't got a wow factor the buns plain the fries no different to anyone elses, the drinks nothing special the decor bland £26 for 2 bland burgers 1 side of fries and 2 soft drinks, I felt very ripped off, at most worth £10 in total, better choice at the brands with the Golden arches and the Crown. My recommendation is to eat elsewhere thats better VFM

This was our first visit to a Five Guys. The children had head of it and wanted a try. We loved the real meaty burgers and wide choice of toppings. The tables are simple and functional.

Five guys is just amazing. It is quite pricey but it never lets you down for a good treat. Can choose what you want in the burger. and chips are very good. Choice of milkshakes are wide ranging and food doesn't take long to cook and it's always delicious.

Stopped off between two Birmingham stations for some food which was faster than a sit down restaurant.The overall problem is that the food is genuinely as good as a burger and fries at a chain sit down, however (and it's a big however) it costs more than a sit down with plate and cutlery, 3 times more than fast food and all served in a piece of foil.

Voor de lunch kwamen terecht bij Five Guys. Hamburgers prima, behoorlijk fors maar ook wel vrij vet (het vet droop het broodje uit). Friet lekker maar wel veel te zout. Beste van onze lunch was de milkshake, erg lekker maar wel belachelijk wat prijs betreft. Ruim £5 per shake, dat is echt overprized. Kortom: een snelle lunch met 3 personen, dik £50 pond....dat is wel fors.

Came here for the first time with my friends yesterday as i’ve heard five guys have impeccable burgers. Even though it’s very pricey, it was worth it. My burger and a drink was £12 as it was double and i customised it, i wasn’t too keen on the price but the taste did it justice. Chips were very nice aswell and drinks are refillable. Proper american burger which is what i like and overall a good experience.

Decent burgers with rather a complicated menu. I didn't like the chips as they were made with the skins on, but that is just my opinion. They are served wrapped in tin foil in a paper bag, which as we were eating in seemed a bit silly. However, nice though they were at £19.50 for two burgers and one Fanta, I won't be going back!

Went here for a quick bite to eat this lunchtime (24th July) - it was pretty busy (with parents and kids mostly), but we got served very quickly and the food came out very quickly too. Just what we had ordered, really hot and tasty. We both chose different burgers and a bottle of still mineral water (shame they don't do sparkling mineral water!), and we were glad to see that there were plenty of large boxes of roasted monkey nuts around the restaurant (love these!), to keep the worms from biting whilst we waited for our burgers. Glad it was busy - meant that everything was freshly served and not sitting on a hotplate for ages! A great quick bite - and a bit of a go-to option for us! Love it here! We didn't have any fries - as we knew we were having a meal in the evening - but we do like their fries!

I was nervous to try five guys in the UK as I’ve only eaten at the ones in America and let me tell you it’s just as good! Unbelievably cheesy and tasty! This is one of the best places to get a quality American burger! Try the Cajun fries as well!

Visited Birmingham bullring today with hubby.....two cheeseburgers,one reg fries and two milkshakes=£30.90p......and it was awful,absolutely awful!!!!! Milkshakes were ok but expensive at £5.00 plus each for a regular size cup.....will never eat in there again.

Myself and a friend decided to nip in to Five Guys in Derby's Intu shopping centre (First one I've seen in the UK) - pleasant staff, clean, very few people eating.... however what I forgot to do was look at the prices, I ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 2 regular fries and 2 shakes.

Always wish to find an ideal burger and have heard nice things about Five Guys. Very happy to say that their burgers - mmmmm, well cooked, juicy, tasting the way a burger should taste. Lots of free condiments to choose from and probably the best fries I've had in the UK. Love this and can't wait to return. Wish there was a Five Guys where I live.

Perfectly nice fastfood for a quick lunch. Grilled cheese with extras and hot sauce, lovely fries and plenty of them and free nuts 2 meals with drinks for less than £10, good value. No complaints other than people coming up to table from outside, asking for money.

Been to various restaurants, it’s a great burger, cooked fresh, all the way, really filling, tastes great, fries are good too, loads of them, way better than most chain burger places. I had a peanut butter milkshake with this one, oh my god it’s heaven.

Very tasty burgers exactly as ordered and the buns are not too sweet.The portion of fries was huge (we just had one between two). They were freshly prepared (as were the burgers) and with the skins left on very tasty. It was good to be able to choose from a vast range of soft drinks (including sugar free) which offered some unusual combinations (hence the vanilla sprite). A little more attention is needed to cleaning of the tables.

Burger was OK, however it was expensive, the fries at £4.50 yesss £4.50 were a no go for me you need to five your heads a wobble, there might be five of you need to earn a living but that takes the p@#&, won't be stinging me again

Really old fashioned ordering system, low customer service skills,too expensive for what you get and honestly regretted not going to McDonald's and getting better service and not having to take out the second mortgage to pay for dinner 😒

It was very busy but got served with in 5mins. Food took a few mins to be cooked the burgers are soooo good and the fries are fab!! I always go to Five Guys when in Birmingham.

I ordered a cheeseburger and fries one lunch time. I really liked the fact I could order ‘extra’ on the pickles and omit the ketchup (which I absolutely detest on a burger). The beef itself was good quality and not fatty at all. It tasted like the typical American ‘chuck’ cut but I couldn’t be certain. The meat didn’t spray fat as some establishment’s burgers do. However, the fries were extremely dry and I hate to say, McDonalds beat them hands down. The brag about using peanut oil is unwarranted as it does not make for a nice flavor or improve the texture of fries. I felt a bit of indigestion from them to be honest.

We did not eat, but had milk shakes. My husband had an oreo, and I had a strawberry milk shake. They were like a meal. Best milkshakes I have had in a while

Like 5 guys, have never been disappointed, glad there were two of us to share the chips, there are too many really if you are on your own, love the concept, the burger, as always well cooked. You have to wait a few minutes but what does that matter when you get a bespoke burger, it's not been sitting on some crappy warming shelf deteriorating and let's face it, do you Really believe McD and BK etc. throw their burgers after they have been stood a certain time? I don't. Recommended.

One of the best buggers i've had, yummy yummy yummy, and to top it of the shakes are just fab, we had a strawberry and an oreo, wow just delicious.

Las hamburguesas aquí son un poco caras (8 .50 para una hamburguesa con queso y tocino doble) pero esta es la mejor hamburguesa que he probado. Las coberturas también son agradables. Las patatas fritas también saben bien. ¿Vale la pena el precio sin embargo? Hmmm Probablemente no sea tbh, pero si tienes hambre y quieres la mejor hamburguesa, entonces tienes una. Ellos tienen un sabor increíble.

Voor het eerst hier gegeten. Even wennen aan het concept. Alle extra's op je burger zijn gratis en de sauzen voor de frietjes ook. Beter dan andere fastfoodketens waar je elk sausje apart betaald en dan is het nog niet veel. Je betaalt wel meer voor het geheel en er zijn geen menu's zodat de rekening met een burger,frietjes en drinken wel snel oploopt. De kwaliteit is wel heel veel beter dan van de concurrentie dus je hebt ook wel genoeg aan 1 burger en frietjes.

The burgers were freshly cooked and fries rustic. I like the different ways you could accompanied the burger. There was plenty of different sodas.

I’m a coeliac but I love the food at this place so I asked what they can do. Apart from the free peanuts which are so yummy, I could have the amazingly delicious chips and a cheese, bacon and meat burger in an iceberg lettuce wrap. Sounds weird but it was absolutely gorgeous.

Ordered a cheese and bacon burger and some fries, the fries tasted like grease, the burger had no flavour it was the worst burger I've ever had, all for the price of 18 pound, yes thats right 18 for one burger and fries, to top it off the guy behind the counter wished me a good evening at 1130 am, avoid at all cost

Ordered a plain burgers and fries for two people. It was a long wait to get the food, however the staff never stopped and the wait was worth it the burgers were cooked to perfection and the fries were dry and not greasy although there were to many and we had to leave some

My second visit in three months, this time with my partner. We shared the milkshake, didn't fancy paying over a tenner for two shakes. The fries were very good and so was the veggie sandwich. Just over £14 for medium fries, veggie sandwich and shake.

Had a recent first time experience at FGBandF in Birmingham recently. First and last time. Two burgers, two fries and two drinks for £32.20p. I know it was cooked fresh because I stood in the queue waiting for it and I know my drink cups were filled to the top because I stood in the queue waiting to fill them. It seems a lot of money for doing most of the work myself. The fries were good. The burger was soggy and fell apart. It was a really busy place but if they were not all first time triers then I don't understand why it was busy because it is not worth a second visit.

Great taste definitely not overpriced ! If the other burger bars could make food as tasty as this they would be charging the same prices !

Me and my girlfriend had just gone to Birmingham for some shopping. We decided to stop at Five Guys as we really fancied a burger. We both had plain beef burgers, with a medium sized portion of chips to share and a milkshake each. This came to just over £30. The burger was soggy (probably as they wrap it in foil?) and the chips were really not that good. The milkshakes did have a bit of flavour but nothing really to rave about. The seating area was smelly, dirty and cramped. All staff were unfriendly. I found it to be very overpriced for what it is and its not really worth it. I doubt we will be returning.

OMG.......Food is really good cooked fresh while you wait ( not like that M D place ) it was really good and a proper burger not a cardboard one, the chips were piping hot and really nice. You get to choose what else you want on your I'm so going back to try something else, you can order a small or large burger. Hurry up Five Guys and open up in Telford PLEASE ! PLEASE!.

So after a long tiring venture into Birmingham to do some last minute Christmas shopping my girlfriend and I decided to stop for some lunch here because we were very hungry. So with our stomach's crying out for some greasy grub we thought that Five Guys would be the ideal place to go! It was very busy when we visited but that would be expected as there were lots of other shoppers around. We ordered our food without any difficulty and my girlfriend went to get the drinks.

Okay so the burger taste and meat quality was good but at £7.95 I would at least expect that. However over £3 FOR WARM NOT HOT FRIES and £4 for a soft drink the total cost of this fast food meal was over £15. When local pubs are offering steak and chips for less than this. In short why have burger when you can eat steak!

Friends raved about this place for ages and finally we took a trip there and it was everything my friends said it would be the burger is was amazing and the cajun fries was immense . My peanut butter shake was one of the best I've had and I love the drinks machine where you arnt stuck for choice . I loved the look of the hotdogs and I will be giving them a try on my next visit for sure

Have eaten here many times and always good food. Never had an issue. Staff polite and always a smile on their faces. Love the burgers and the free toppings. Milkshakes are awesome too. See you Guys next time.

Ordered a burger and fries. I couldn't finish the fries even though they were very delicious. The burger was very good as well. It was quite busy. We went at about 14:00 on a Wednesday. Sat outside as the weather was good. Staff friendly, helpful, polite.

Ordered hotdog, cheese burger, and 2 veggie sandwiches, didn't realise that the veggie sandwiches were just burger buns minus the burgers. Although the hotdog and burger were ok, the sandwiches were just pure slop. Considering the the cost was over £40 also didnt make this a great family experience.

First time eating at five guys from being served to collecting our food was excellent the food is good and the milkshakes are delicious but it's expensive total cost £32 one cheeseburger with a few toppings and one cheese and bacon burger large fries and two milkshakes.

A deliveroo driver decided he didn't want to deliver my order to the correct place so dropped it off at a wrong hotel. Deliveroo refused to give me a refund. I went to five guys to explain the situation and the manager and junior manager were exceptionally helpful and gave us our food for free! Thanks so much!! This is what true customer service is all about! Never ordering through deliveroo again will just go straight to the five guys branch!!

Went for the first time Tuesday lunch time. Ordered small burger with all the toppings. Delicious juicy burger tasty fries really enjoyed it.

I had to try Five Guys after all the hype. I asked about a meal deal and was told they don't do that and I had to order everything separately. I then ordered the cheese burger, fries and milk shake as separate items and the total cost was just over £16! This is still a fast food chain at the end of they day with no waitered service. In my mind Five Guys is heavily overpriced.

Limited choice, ridiculously overpriced and over rated! Very expensive and definitely not value for money. Fries were too dry and tasteless.

Wow - nos quedamos bastante impactados al pagar 26. 00 por una hamburguesa de queso un hot dog Dos papas fritas y dos coques. Ahora sabemos que recomendaría compartir papas fritas y se puede rellenar una coca cola que comparto. No tardó mucho en esperar por la comida y el lugar fue embestido. Tanto las patatas fritas y hamburguesas eran excepcionales, pero ten en cuenta los precios.
