I really wanted this to be a positive review. When they do it right the food is amazing. Sadly the price is extortionate. And that means when they don't do it right it really, really, really stings. I just ordered Cajun fries and a bacon cheeseburger. Nearly 20 quid. No Cajun on the fries. No bacon on the burger. If this was maccies prices then fair enough. But it's not. If it was maccies speed, then fair enough. But it's all made to order. I was the only person in the restaurant! And of the two items I ordered, two are wrong. Twenty quid. Extremely disappointing.

Quick pit stop for lunch. Clean, friendly and professional staff and nice food. Will come again.

Enjoyed the food....very tasty and better than 'the others'. Place was empty so no atmosphere....I know I'm an old out of contact duffer these days but was shocked with the prices....42 quid for a mid afternoon snack for 3 of is....we could have gone elsewhere and been waited on for that....

Great little place. Brought my parents here for the first time and Lewis our server explained the entire menu to them in good detail. Recommended certain products to us and overall made the experience 5 stars out of 5. Food was brilliant too of course!

Poor food on the past 2 occasions. Burgers are good but fries are not. They used to be crispy and salty now limp and flavourless. 5 dollar shake? Make it closer to 6 and totally not worth it. Again, they used to be good, worth throwing some £ at one but the last one was warm and sickly like it was just a cup full of squirty cream. I think they have staffing issue as one worker was eating his burger, jumped up, stormed into the back, binning his meal en route. Time from ordering to recieving food was somewhere in the region of 20-25 minutes. Not recommended at this site I'm afraid 😳

overpriced burgers no taste , no fries, so for 3 burgers with no fries and 3 drinks bill was £47.40 for a load of rubbish, better off going to burger king or mcdonalods.

Burger was lovely ordered salt chips buy has some paprika or something on them . Milkshake was amazing .

Best five guys burger I've ever had and a beautiful atmosphere!

We spent £28 for two bacon cheeseburgers and 1 large fies. The first thing I noticed when going in was that it was empty, and it gave me a butchers vibe. It was extremely expensive for the food quality. I was warned at the til that the large fries are for 4 people, maybe 4 children, not sure. They had a slight burned tast to thrm, soggy, not crispy at all. The burger, to be more precise, the bacon cheeseburger. Omg, no, just no. No taste at all, soggy bun. The bacon was burned. It looked like it was burned in the pan and scrapped off and shoved on the bottom of the burger. My miss's first reaction was, "It tastes like a cheap kebab shop burger." We gave it a go, and we wish we hadn't. Never again. I'm not sure how this place is still up and running and all the newspaper cutouts on the walls? They must have paid a lot for them to say all the good reviews. No way anyone who tried a decent burger would go here.

Decent burgers, service was excellent, Music gets a touch annoying later at night. Overall its what you expect and it does it well.

Ordered 2 cheeseburgers little fries and milkshakes for 2 £41.50 wow !!!!! Milkshake (lotus) amazing !!! Fries ok burger ok feel robbed at those prices we live and learn. Guy on till didn’t seem very helpful considering it was our first time looked frustrated whilst we chose.

Ordered from just eat , arrived in specified time . Burgers were nearly cold some of the toppings we asked for were missing from the burgers . We only ordered one portion of fries because we know how many extra you get in the bottom of the bag …..well you’d either forgotten about the extra scoop which you usually supply or the driver had been eating them . All in all very disappointing considering the cost and the reputation which goes before you !! Will not be ordering again and certainly will not recommend. Since been to “SMASHIES BURGERS” in Birkenhead ….. WOW best burgers we’ve tasted probably EVER !! Highly recommend

Ordered through Just Eat and the food was STONE COLD. Not meant to be cooked until the driver arrives, clearly just left on the side until they got there. Order was also wrong, I had tomatoes on my burger which I didn’t ask for, and no ketchup which I did ask for.

There's no doubt these guys do amazing burgers, delicious fries and magnificent milkshakes. Service his friendly and swift. The soft drinks selection could have you stood umming and ahhing for ages. A real treat for fast food junkies. However, be prepared to pay for the experience as the prices are 50% higher than what you'd pay in other fast food chains. Still... they are good burgers.

We did a click and collect but got stuck in traffic the staff members offered to cook use some fresh fries so we didn't have cold one which I didn't expect and i was happy to take the cold one's, great service from this branch.

Ordered through Just Eat at 12.15pm for a 13.30pm delivery. My lunch break is 30 minutes only and wanted to treat myself. Food arrived at 13.55pm and was wrong. When speaking with the person that answered the phone a 5 guys, he simply laughed at me, the driver just told me to complain as it wasnt his fault. Just Eat have offered a full refund and apology. Sadly, I will never use 5 guys in Bromborough and I will recommend that none of my family friends and colleagues avoid this place. Shocking service and behavior. If there was an option for 0 stars I would definitely give a massive ZERO!!!!!!!

Ordered a small collection for 15:30. Arrived 10 minutes late and had to wait another 10 minutes for my food. After having food from the Cheshire oaks branch I thought I knew what the food was like. But the Brombrough branch just isn't as good. Chips were soggy, burger way dripping with oil and the grilled cheese felt sweaty. Pretty disappointed with the food.

Staff are lovely and the burgers are nice

Great lovely staff very helpful on how to order. Cooked fresh very enjoyable. Keep place very clean. Was bit loud ,but not every one keeps there children in check. Did get bit much for our autistic grandson . We'll worth the money.

They were extremely stingy with their fries. I've been to many other five guys who fill the bag with fries. They also didn't taste the same as other five guys. It's as though they were missing something. Cheshire oaks is by far much nicer. Staff were lovely though.

Service is fast and quality is good. Parking can be difficult in busy times. Shakes, Fries are best. Would be great if they introduce Hot Drinks some point and some vegan options.

Being five guys virgins we decided to give the new restaurant a go. Lovely customer service from a young lad called Dylan. From the get go he explained everything well to us, the wait for food wasn't to long which is always a bonus when you have 2 children who cannot wait! First impressions great, but then the food came and after seating our children and unwrapping their food our younger child took 2 bites out of his burger and I noticed it was raw inside!! I quickly wrapped it back up and went back over to the counter where again I was greeted by Dylan I explained to him that my Baby had taken 2 bites and we'd noticed the burger was raw. He couldn't of been more helpful, he informed the cook that this had been served to a baby and couldn't apologise enough even though it was far from his fault! He brought our son a fresh burger and offered him any milkshake he wanted on the house which made our experience slightly better. 5 stars to Dylan for his amazing customer service skills and hospitality. Overall it is what it is, better than your average burger place but I think the cooks need to be checking the food they serve before hand.

It’s five guys, you know it’s decent. Service really good and no sign of teething troubles. Could have done with a tidy up but it was really busy. Milkshakes ace, burgers ace, fries also ace. Free peanuts! It *is* pricey, when compared to fast food places nearby. I personally think it’s worth it. Good value in my opinion.

Was a regular at the Ellesmere Port Five Guys before this one opened. Same stupendous burgers but far too much salt on the chips, like they’s dropped the salt cellar into the bag.

Today I was served by a man called James. He was very rude to me and I heard him swear under his breath and I then just walked out and went to Burger King where there was much better service. Food was okay though.

My first ever Five Guys experience. Newly opened Bromborough Outlet. I had heard a lot about Five Guys from other people, 2 things always stuck in my mind from what people hsd told me : nice burgers but expensive. So I just had to check it out for myself. The staff at the tills were very friendly and helpful. As it was our families first visit they explained the options regarding the burger toppings and the size of the fries portions. We all opted for burgers with various toppings, also Five Guys shakes all round. The shakes are also available with many flavour options. I went for banana and peanut butter topped with whipped cream. The burgers where tasty and cooked well with no dryness in the meat. Patties are top quality. Fries where nicely cooked with skin on and seasoned well. So here goes the cost for myself, my wife and twin boys.............£74.30. So basically this was an expensive hour in a burger joint. I have now experienced Five Guys but I do not think it will be a regular occurrence for us. So I agree......Nice burgers but expensive. I would reccomend everyone to try it even if its only once 👍

The shop was very clean and the atmosphere was lively and enthusiastic in the kitchen. the food was very nice but quite expensive, as there are no meals. i was served by a polite young man, name on the reciept was Howie, at the till who explained the menu and helped me save money on the fries for me and my grandchildren. food was very quick along with the milkshakes. would recommend to anyone willing to spend a little bit of extra cash.

Food was lovely but server was rude and impatient on receipt his name was James. Very clean but very noisy not the place to come if you are sensitive to loud noises or have children who are, best to take ear defenders.

First time in five guys, I got takeaway, absolutely loved the cheeseburger and fries, hot and juicy, have to say it was worth paying more for better quality.

Went there with family and a crew member r named Sid served me and my family and had incredible customer service I could not off asked for more from the store

Negatives out of the way first: The person who served us James has a terrible attitude and needs to redo his training of how to treat the customer. He was impatient and looked like he wanted to be anywhere else. My partner rushed her order out of anxiousness. It was very loud which made having a conversation difficult. Positives: Food was spot on as always, probably the nicest we’ve had from five guys. Wait time was quick Very clean

It's not cheap BUT you are paying for better quality than your average takeaway food to order, better service and the cleanliness of the place is unmatched. The fact that you can add toppings for free is good. It was piping hot for us. The chips are amazing. Free refils on your soft drink. Kept me satisfied for a lot longer than a McDonalds does.

Perfect in every way. Food quality is simply amazing. Staff very friendly. Never seen such a clean place to eat. You get what you pay for! If you can’t afford the quality and want frozen rubbish there’s a cheaper burger place next door!

Food was nice, and fresh, but way overpriced for what it was... £9 for my burger, and they did get my order wrong. I asked for mustard but they added mushrooms instead. Waited 15 mins for it to be cooked so just picked them off because I didn't want another wait. Spotlessly clean inside and staff a looked clean. Not a relaxing environment at all... very loud kitchen staff, one man in particular, all shouting across one another and I know the kitchen is open, which is a good thing, but it isn't conducive to people enjoying the dining experience. I would eat there again, rather than McDonalds but it wouldn't be my go to place. Partner loved his food but said "no burger is worth nearly ten pound." 3 from me. 5 from him. He echoed my sentiments regarding the noisy staff.
