We dropped in for a quick lunchtime bowl of soup. Just as we were sitting down, the soup of the day was wiped off the blackboard and on hearing our consternation at this a member of staff brought us a little cup of the soup he'd just finished making to see if we'd like to order that. It was delicious!

This family friendly (including doggy friendly) is a great place to stop in for a snack or lunch. Children are entertained by the selection of toys and books available to customers and doggy’s are kept happy with the jar of dog biscuits and water bowls.

Always visit this café on our annual end of year visits to Midhurst - the coffee is consistently good, great coffee and walnut cake, and friendly staff.

The Anchor Bleu

03/03/2020: This is a regular meal deal and is good value and high quality food. The Thai quinoa burger is excellent. They also do a great pie deal.
23/01/2020: We visited here for drinks on Christmas Day early lunchtime and not having been in before were totally in awe of it. Super friendly bar staff, amazing mulled wine, this actually really made for a beautiful Christmas Day and will definitely be returning. Beautiful setting and the menu looked good too. Don’t miss this one in beautiful Bosham.

The Flying Bull Inn Restaurant

21/02/2020: Continuing our programme to revisit some of our favourite pubs, this week after a very quick tour of Petersfield in Hampshire we decided to venture back to the Flying bull inn at Rake. It's been nearly a year now since we were last there, and again we were not disappointed.
20/03/2020: We ordered a takeaway tonight from The Flying Bull during this difficult time. Fish and chips cooked to perfection , crispy batter. Socially isolating has never tasted better
