Fish'n'Chick'n in North Hertfordshire

Used to be great. Decided to go again and what a mistake. Food inedible. Fish cooked in stale oil. Staff surly and it didn’t look very clean, Hope they didn’t overcharge me and good advice from others to check your bank statement. So many great places to eat in Baldock but this is no longer one of them.

Omg never ever again, so dirty, staff was just 1 girl who was so busy doing everything as restaurant is upstairs not good at all for disabled. Food was over cooked or under cooker. None of us will ever come here again and this 10 people what makes this worst, prog of grime places this place was on it lucky for us we didn't get dodgy tummy def one place I would avoid.

We used to come as a group for our Christmas dinner annually but went elsewhere last year as it had changed hands. Thought we’d give the new management a chance and were treated to a great welcome the food was served all together (there were 7 of us) and was piping hot. The cod was huge with thin and crispy batter and excellent chips. The scampi eaters were pleased with their meals. The chicken salad was so large half had to be boxed up to take home. Pots of tea were good and the young lady serving was great. We will certainly be back. It was a shame to see the place so quiet as the food was good and the welcome sincere.

We ate in at the overhead restaurant. My wife and I both had regular cod and chips and my mum haddock and chips. Service was welcoming and friendly. Our meal was freshly cooked and arrived in 10-15 minutes. The quality was excellent and the portions plentiful. We were asked during our meal and as we paid if everything was ok. The cost, including 3 soft drinks and one curry sauce was £32. We will certainly visit again.

My elderly father brought scampi and chips and Mushy peas on Saturday cost should have been around £8.70 .When he checked his bank statement today they had taken £18.15 . May have been a genuine mistake maybe not .After much debate about where my dads receipt was (he doesnt remember getting one , or who does keep their fast food receipts he was grudgingly repaid the £10 difference .Please check your bank balance if paying by card here ??????

we went here many years ago when it was called Taylor's and in those days it was excellent,then it changed hands and it was very good,to-day my large portion of Cod and chips and my wife's regular Haddock and chips was good although not cheap,the fish arrived after about 15 minutes was very hot and crispy and very fresh.would go there again,the two young ladies serving were very friendly and made a good pot of tea.

We used to be frequent customers and then quality worsened. However in need of a lunch out we left our car in Tesco's carpark today and paid a visit. Big mistake, the place is now very run down and for a full 50 minutes we were the only folks in the upstairs restaurant. Apparently the establishment has changed hands, its a shame really ~ though the fish and chips were not bad.

What more can I say other than the best chips and curry sauce in Baldock! We spoil ourselves with a wee bag of chips every couple of months and there is always a smile given as we walk through the door, and a monster bag of chips to walk back out with. Great fun if you don't eat too many!

Been once since change of hand will not be going back. Young staff upstairs ok but food was not good the noise coming from the staff downstairs was bad seemed very inexperienced

Had fish and chips takeaway on friday. The food was 'Inedible'. The oil used to fry the food was nasty and made everything taste horrible. This place was always consistent however it would seem new ownership with no knowledge/skill preparing British staple fish and chips.

Arrived early and sat upstairs. Rather cold in the restaurant but our food was excellent and freshly cooked. Waitress was nice and friendly

Rubbish food and really badly managed. If your food isn’t as you like it. Except hostility and grumpy staff. Don’t expect and apology.

I was a regular customer years back when locally it was known as '"Fishy Taylor's". I thought it would be nice to take my partner there for lunch, what a disappointment! The restaurant upstairs was cold, there was one other couple there and a mother with two children. The couple were just finishing their meal and there was an un-consumed plate of fish and chips in front of them. Our meal arrived but the chips were dry wrinkled up and just warm. We complained and they gave another plate of chips for the two of us but these were just the same but hotter. We made our feelings known on leaving. We have had nicer fish and chips in a few of the local pubs. Our opinion is "Give the place a wide berth".

Popped in tonight 7pm. No other customers in the shop the chef extreme;y grumpy and argumentive with the other staff. Last time I went in I was short changed a portion of chips. Only noticed when I was getting back in the car decided the bag was a bit light. No issue getting the missing items. I seem to remember the chef giving grief to the staff then as well.

Had a take away fish in chips after it changed hands. Low quality food, horrendously long wait, no basic understanding of customer service. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Honestly, the best fish and chips I've ever had! the shop is under new management and i go in there everyday after work, i could't make it better myself

We've been going here for best part of a decade occasionally; less frequently than we'd like but we often just aren't back from London before the early close. Chips have been consistently good, haven't experienced soggy chips as some reviews but both the fish and especially the chicken have been getting a bit on the wet side. Tonight, home alone, the skin of the chicken had self slipped off the breast and sat as a sort of soft puddle on top of the chips when I opened the box at home. All inside still tasted good; just not as good with the usual crispy, seasoned, roasted skin I'd been salivating over...

Simply awful. New ownership it seems. Terrible service, costly and tasteless. It was like a youth club behind the counter. The worst I've ever tasted.

Chips not cooked most of them hard the pie was warm and the scampi was over cooked on outside under cooked in middle, this was pointed out but nothing was done and the meals where not eaten. I have been eating there before it was Fish'n'Chick'n but never again.

Visted here twice and can confidently say i will not be visiting again. Had to wait over 40 minutes for a basic fish and chips. When i received my fish and chips, the fish was soggy and dripping in grease. And the chips tasted as if they had been made from potatos that were old. Not fresh tasting at all. Such a shame as it's a prime location for business but sadly not for me.

Fish and chips for two at a cost of £14.90. wouldn`t mind if the fish and chips were good, they were awful, the Batter was soggy and not crispy on the fish, the fish was very dry inside, no flakes. The chips were chewy on the edges, not crispy. The worst fish and chips I have ever eaten, will not be making another trip to this Fish and Chip shop.

This is a good old-fashioned fish and chicken/chip shop. Staff are very polite and attentive. Mostly, the fish is cooked to order, but as chicken takes a bit longer to cook, you may be luckier to find freshly pre-cooked chicken ready to go. Cooking counter and surfaces are regularly wiped clean. There is a waiting area next to the order counter where you can either eat your meal or sit and wait for your meal to be cooked. There is also an upstairs restaurant for prebooked diners.

Lovely place for a quick basic meal from fish and chips to salads. They do a lovely half chicken and scampi which we usually have. Staff are very pleasant and chatty

I've notice some bad reviews but you can't expect to have a RITZ service because is not the RITZ. Good food. Family of 6 and we had the traditional Fish and Chips and Southern Ckicken and plates were clean at the end with just chicken bones as leftovers .

The chips weren’t even cooked properly, asked for another plate as they were cold. When i got a second plate of chips they were hot but not cooked properly. Very disappointing wont be coming here again

This used to be the best Fish and Chips in the area and won many awards for the quality of there fish and chips.

Being called Fish and chicken, you'd expect to be able to buy either or both of these when entering this shop. For a start they had 'No chicken' and a small Cod was £5 (4.75)

El servicio era bueno, no me esperaba nada menos como sólo otras 2 personas en el restaurante del piso de arriba. Las patatas fritas eran horribles, apenas preparado! Pescado no tenía sabor alguno. Tenía un estómago realmente disgustado en menos de media hora y para el resto del día. No se podrá ir allí de nuevo, una pena, ya que habíamos oído tales informes.

Fuimos al restaurante, y los pedidos de dos porciones de eglefino y patatas fritas con frijoles y guisantes blandos y uno con una taza de té.

A nice local fish and chip shop that also has seating if you dont want the traditional take away. Not cheap but worth it.

Hemos estado comprando pescado y patatas fritas desde aquí por más de 2 años la calidad es coherente. Un restaurante muy popular local para comer en el restaurante o para llevar.

Fuimos aquí el jueves, esperamos 5 minutos para un reconocimiento, no obtuvimos ninguna. Gritó en james (como dice hacerlo en un enorme cartel) James salió, pero todavía no reconocen. Esperamos otro 5 y luego a la izquierda para ir a la tienda en la misma calle donde el personal sabe cómo tratar a la gente. Recientemente nos trasladamos aquí y este es el peor lugar para fácilmente el servicio que he visitado. No volvería. No puedo revisar la comida, ya que no obtuvimos ninguna! Cachondeo total y no hay forma de bandeja de cualquier cliente.

Great chip shop, excellent fish, chicken and chips that I am will to drive 30 minutes to, eat chips in my car and drive 30 minutes home. better than any chip shop in Hitchin by a long way.

What has gone wrong!? I have always praised this plaace when eating upstairs in their resturant. Today I stopped for a takeaway. It was terrible. When I got home I found I was given old dry chips and fish that just had no flavour to it. If they can serve up good quality food up stairs in their resturant why cant they do it on takeaways...I really feel that something needs addressing here guys. I rarely give scores of Terrible on Trip Advisor but there is nothing higher to offer on todays feedback. A BIG let down and embarrasment to the resturant.

Personnelles sympathique nourriture moyen. Des crevettes avec une sauce keetchep mayonnaise et un peu d'eau avec bon mais sans plus. Poulet rôti un peu sec.

I do find that the quality of food various considerably in this chain dependent on where you are and what time you visit. This one visited in early evening was very good . Fish was nicely but well cooked and the chips were very tasty. Worth a visit.

Very popular, especially on Fridays, when you may have to wait a short while for seating in the first-floor restaurant. The fishing is stated to be environmentally friendly, with the business chain having its own boats. Apart from the fish main courses, the rest of the food is nothing special, nor the drinks.

Been here a couple of times, chips are ok, sausage was ok, kids thought the food was ok... Better places to eat elsewhere x

Eaten here several times over last few years and consistently good. Great to have a chippie that serves fresh chicken!

I had returned here again this month and WOW I was very impressed. The resturant upstairs is such a cosey place to eat. Clean and decked out well.The staff friendly and welcoming and always have a smile. The food always arrives hot and fresh and is delicious. This truely is a different eating experience and give it a try as you will be very impressed. Oh and you can have a wine or beer with your meal as well.

When this fish and chip shop was taken over by Fish 'n Chick'n from Taylors I thought the worst. Taylors had a great local reputation and was visited from far and wide to use both the take away and eat in the restaurant upstairs. I honestly believe the reverse is the case...it has improved.

Another great meal. We both had sausage and chips with a nice glass of orange juice. Service was excellent and the upstairs seating area is nice and comfortable.

Been here many times and thought we would go for lunch today. As all ways the fish was cooked to perfection and the chips were just right. Next time we are in the area we will definitely go back. And the waitress was friendly and helpful.

Sorry I don't like to leave poor reviews but my visit this week was just not good. I popped in to collect some take away chips.When unwrapping them at home they where disgusting. It seemed like nobody had checked the chips before or after cooking, there where several that where dark and very unappetising to look at but worst of all it was as if they had been cooked in dirty oil as there where black specks all over them.Sorry but I won't be visiting again.

Been every time we visit Baldock, and the fish & chips have always been fine, in fact VERY GOOD especially when they do skate.... The past three times we have been, there has been no sign of a "manager" or anyone who "gives a damn " resulting in no skate, and making us feel very unwelcome unless you buy fish and chips and leave! We asked about going upstairs to "eat in", and almost got our heads bitten off, as two members of staff barked "it's much more expensive if you go upstairs !!!" Not that we minded, and of course know that take away is obviously cheaper than having food in. We didn't ask that, but we obviously GOT the message!! May I point out it was only 7.45pm so not even late!!! So accepted the take away option, without even being asked, actually !! While we were there this happened again, I would hate to think my staff were doing this to my business ! When wrapping I asked for lots of vinegar, which I did not get.So asked for a little take out pot with a bit more in, a teaspoon full is what we are talking about here, (like I've always done), and was met with you can buy a bottle for £1.25!! I explained I don't live here, and would be going home in a couple of days by air, so it would just go in the bin. Still nothing.So we ate out fish & chips ( not anywhere as good as they used to be) in the car, never to return again.Note to the owner.....go in more often, your staff don't want to be there, they want to do the least amount of work for their money.They only want to serve Take away as it's easier for them, and don't mind telling you! Sorry. I don't recommend this restaurant.

This is the only fish and chip shop we use so I can't compare the prices, although I wouldn't say it's cheap. They do some deals and a loyalty card when ordering fish. It is good to eat in or take away, although the last time I collected I paid for curry sauce but it wasn't in the bag when I got home. The food is delicious which is why we never go elsewhere. Highly recommended.

I went here for lunch today and as soon as I walked in I was very impressed. The environment was spacious clean and with friendly staff. I went to eat in the restaurant upstairs and was again welcomed to a very friendly smiling face of a waitress who in my oppinion is a credit to the restaurant. I have visited hundreds of food establishments over the years and it is quite rare to guarantee a genuine welcomed smile. I ordered Cod and Chips with a Curry Sauce. It arrived within ten minutes fresh and hot. The batter light golden and flakey and delicious. The prices here are very reasonable for eating in a beautiful environment. I also noted that the restaurant was awarded the best chain of independently owned fish and chip shops in the UK. This I can easily unetstand from my experience there today. I give the Fish'n'Chick'n a Big mark of EXCELLENT

A great old fashioned chippy, good quality fish and well cooked chips that are not too greasy. Great customer service and nothing is ever too much trouble.

We popped in for lunch, the chap serving was reluctant to answer any questions- referring us to read the many boards & signs. Subsequently we missed out on the daily 'special' as we didn't see that sign! The dining area upstairs was closed so we sat by the window. I asked if we could have a proper knife & fork rather than the plastic ones and was told 'no, only upstairs' - he could have actually made an attempt to be helpful and friendly but sadly the staff here are not interested in any sort of good customer service or being helpful. When the food arrived (was left on counter for us to fetch) I asked for some sauces only to be informed they are 25p each, even though I just paid over £25 for 3 fishnchips; would have been nice touch to have told me when I asked on placing the original order or to have offered free at thsi point. No chance here. Id be reluctant to go again.

Party of four for fish and chips in the restaurant last Saturday night. We ordered four regular cod and chips and an extra bowl of chips. The extra chips did not arrive - but we were charged for them. It didn't occur to us that we would be charged which is why we didn't check the bill there. So, it is wise to check your receipt!The fish was excellent - really hot, fresh and good.Chips were a big disappointment - perhaps it is good that the extra chips didn't arrive! They were lukewarm and not as tasty as usual. It was quite hot in the restaurant and the atmosphere was not helped by a screaming baby. One of our party sat on a chip which had been left on her chair by a previous diner.The waitress who served us did not smile but was efficient - except she forgot to chase the extra chips. Bit of a disappointment all round really, which is a shame. On a good day, this place serves really good fish and chips. Not in a hurry to return tbh. Also a regular fish and chips was £7.95 and large was £9.95 which seems quite steep to me!

Title says it really. Kind of hit and miss, depending on the day I suppose. Can't really complain as pretty consistent but I would always recommend eating in as all cooked fresh for you and not just sitting overcooking in a hot cabinet like the take way sometimes. Fair prices and ok quality.

Have been going here for a number of years. Can be good or bad, it is a lottery. There is an older Scottish waitress who gives excellent service but if she is not there the younger ones are terrible.Sometimes the food is excellent, sometime not so good. So as I say if you get lucky or like a lottery go here.

Just had a quick meal here on Saturday afternoon. Service was good and the quality of the cod was good. Chips were nice and not soggy which we both hate. The. Cappuccino we ordered could have been better but overall our visit here was a good one.

Whether eating in or having a takeaway from here, the food is really great. However some of the younger staff need a little bit of customer focus to get the whole picture. It was much better when they had mature staff, but they have to start somewhere I guess.That aside it is definitely the best fish & chip restaurant in Baldock and I will stay loyal to them as long as the food standard remains.

After being barked at for our order as time to choose off the menu obviously isn't allowed here we ordered 2 pie and chips with curry sauce .... The Boy was rude and sloppy and tutted when I asked for a fork as we wanted to eat on the little tables at the front. Been here twice in 2 weeks both time service excellent I had the rock each time the first time it was the largeand it was massive the second I had the regular and it was as big as another shops large the chips were not at all greasy and in my partner had cod and chips and was equally as good.recently went to another restraunt which was runner up in best chippy and wss not as good as this.

Went upstairs for the restaurant part and wasn’t disappointed. Quick, friendly service. Battered sausage was enormous and chips were tasty. The pudding was also good quality and tasty. All for a low price.

Back when this used to be Taylor's, the queues both for the chippy downstairs and the restaurant upstairs would be out into the street, these days if you want to be served quickly go here as there are no queues, if however you want decent service and decent fish and chips walk down the other end of the High Street everybody else does.

Visited this place for the first time for many years and will certainly be the last time.I ordered chicken breast and was served a leg portion.When I pointed this out the server I was told it was a breast portion!I I stated it was not but this met with little response.In the end I gave up and took my incorrect chicken away.The chips were cold and the ckicken was luke warm.The next day resulted in a very bad upset stomach.BE WARNED

I like it here. It's cheap and cheerful! The service is a bit off at times but the food is always good and it's great value for money. It's a nice place to go if you want a relaxed and comfortable meal, but don't expect 5 star service. I do, however, always go back.

i have been going to this fish and chip shop for over 20 years long before the new owners fish and chickn took over NEVER have i ever experienced such poor service as i did tonight 17/8/13 the place is in such poor management they do not understand customer service NEVER will i go to this place again and EVERY ONE i know will be warned off the place is a joke

This place could deliever so much more than it does if it had somebody running the show upstairs who new what they were doing.. Its all so average and unorganised. . The sign says wait to be seated but on our last 3 visits. Nobody came to us , so we just picked our own seats. Which most people do. Take the sign down if thats how you want to do it. Then once was seated. We waited 10mins before a member of staff even seen us. . Then the food. . Well we think portions have got smaller and my pie was not great. Very hard pastry on top. .. Curry sauce £1.55p a portion. . Not good in my eyes. .so for us its average and could be great if some improvements were made. Get a person running the place who nows what they are doing.

If you visit, you should be aware that the 'Restaurant' is actually in two distinct halves.Upstairs is the more formal waitress-served part, with full condiments, crockery and metal cutlery, whilst the ground floor is really only the 'Takeaway' part of the establishment.On this level food is ordered at a counter and can be eaten inside, but rather plainly on paper 'plates', sheets of paper and plastic cutlery.However, the fish was excellent; as it had been freshly cooked to order. Even so, the wait for the meal was probably only 5 or 10 minutes. Chips were chunky, tasty and hot. The only negative comment is that the 'mushy peas' were more like a warm green puree, served in a polystyrene cup. (Ugh !).Our pot of tea was tasty - plenty for two, and in china cups and saucers, (the only way to drink it !).The ground floor had only a few tables, which appeared to be plenty at this time of day (Wednesday, about 1 pm). The area was clean and spacious.Staff could have been a little happier, but they were quick and efficient.O.K. for the occasional quick 'Chip Shop' snack.

We visit Baldock maybe three times a year and stay at the Days Inn Stevenage (see our review of that), and on our first evening we always take a drive into the town centre, straight to Fish n Chicken. The shop itself is large, with an upstairs restaurant (not used - we always take our food away), with a large seated waiting area. Unlike other fish shops we know, F&C keep cooked stock to the minimum, so you won't find stacks of greasy fish cooked two hours earlier piled up in the warmer, most of the time you may have to wait a few minutes whilst your food is cooked fresh for you, which we find is reassuring.The portions are large, and there are always offers of some description available (for one, check out the "if we don't offer you...." offer that is up on the wall as you enter.)The staff are well mannered and keep the place scrupulously clean. We've tried elsewhere but F&C wins hands down for quality. Well worth a visit.Oh....The last Tuesday in every month is designated "Gluten Free Tuesday" where all cooking surfaces and equipment is supercleaned to prevent cross contamination. How many other restaurants cater for Coeliac sufferers?Hope this helps.

From the outside it doesn't look that great but the food was excellent. We had cod and haddock and because I had to wait a little while (not longer than 5 minutes) they upgraded the regular haddock to large. Probably some of the best fish and chips I've ever eaten.

This chain consistently wins the "Best Fish & Chips" in England. Not greasy, large portions, friendly staff. Parking is a bit tough in Royston, but it's worth it for great take away. Mushy peas are good as well

We visited on a sat afternoon. It was empty in the restaurant upstairs. So no problems with service. Only us to serve. Chicken and chips and fishcake and chips. Curry sauce, enough for two. A bread roll and a bottle of savignon blanc'. A tad over £21. We enjoyed the food and happy with the price. So will return.

It has been many years since I visited here. Went early evening on a Tuesday and the restaurant quickly filled mainly with senior citizens (special deals?). Despite being one of the first diners I seemed to wait ages for my order to arrive which amazed me as the takeaway section downstairs was not particularly busy at the time. When it did eventually arrive it admittedly tasted good but had the appearance of being reheated for some time i.e. dry and brittle. What was supposedly a large portoin of chips seemed rather mean. Usually I enjoy mushy peas but the consistency was so hard I was unable to dip my chips into it.Had it not been a bitterly cold winter's day I would have been far better off buying from the takeaway section downstairs and eating outside - the service would have been better, the food fresher and far cheaper. Appreciate I dined in but at nearly £13 (including a drink) it was certainly not worth it. Overrated, overhyped and overpriced.

I visited last Friday 8th Feb ,i am not very happy the chips are too dry ,the rock i had was cooked too much also the burgers we got were the wrong ones and the kids nuggett meal was over cooked .This is the first visit and last ,i waited over 30 minutes for my order and it was messed up and then it didnt taste nice and gave us all bad stomaches,£16,65 wasted.

just like to say thanks to all the staff at the Baldock restaurant for a wonderful meal last night, food was excellent as was the service. im surprised about the negative feedback its been given. i will be using the the restaurant again no problem.

I used to frequent this fish and chip restaurant a few years ago and the food was of decent quality, freshly prepared and very tasty but in the past year it has gone rapidly downhill. Even a bag of chips isn't very good any more, whereas in the past they were moreish to the point of being some of the best chips this side of the coast.The last straw for me was when I had to wait 10 minutes for chips and some bloke who was completely plastered was eating his takeaway in the restaurant area and annoying the rest of the patrons, but nobody behind the counter chose to intervene.We now go to Letchworth to get fish and chips as it's only down the road and most of the chippies there outclass this one now.

We live in a nearby town and have been regulars at this restaurant for many years. We have enjoyed the fish and chips under both the previous and present owners until this Summer. The fish appears no longer to be cooked to order and is dry and frankly horrible and the once excellent chips are now hard impenetrable chunks of potato. On our last visit, which we decided would be our final one unless things had improved, we went on a Thursday, one of the days when there is a deal for pensioners. The restaurant was busy and there was the usual single waitress serving. This Scottish lady becomes very grumpy when there are more than a few customers and we did prefer to go at the weekends when more cheerful youngsters are serving. We waited an age for our food which we concluded was not worth our time. To cap it all the unhappy waitress then overcharged us for an included beverage. We shall not be returning to this restaurant and are extremely disappointed that we must look elsewhere for our regular fish and chip meals

I accompanied my husband on a business trip to London Colney and on the way home we drove past various public houses that offered food in order to get to Fish n Chicken in Baldock because we had been told that it had a good reputation.At 13.40 we placed and paid for our order of 2 cod and chips. bread roll, mushy peas and a pot of tea which we wanted after we had eaten our food.The fish was good but not the best that we had tasted, the chips were hard, dry and greasy (re-fried maybe) the mushy peas were nothing to write home about. When we had finished eating I went to the counter to request our tea when a man did finally appear from out of the back of the shop, I made my request he just said we are closed now, despite the fact that we could still hear other customers upstairs.I asked for my money back without a word he gave me £2 from the till, no apology - silly me for expecting a little customer care.We don't visit Baldock very often but when we do, Fish n Chicken will not be will NOT be on our agenda.

I have used this chip shop on numerous occasions and the quality of food in the past has been great if a little expensive. I am not local to the area so my visits are not regular but my last three visits have been disappointing. The chips were greasy, the fish was small and tasteless and the price astronomic. I won't be going again.

Used to go there a lot when it was owned by the previouse owners, great food all the time, this lot total crap tried them twice bothe times stale dried out fish, so try the other chip shop in baldock you won't be disappointed as like most other people who live locally do, just avoid this chip shop.

Visted on the friday the 13th 2012 no joke intended. Orderded our meal in the upstairs restaurant at 18.25 ish at 19.00ish we still had not recieved our food. Yet we watched 2 other tables seated well after us get their food. We waited, we were patient. We were polite. After a further 5 mins i went and asked why we had not got our order. Straight away the girl who had seated us recognised me and said . Have you not had your food yet.. Anyway after an explantion of the till getting jammed and not processing our order. I said we would be leaving. I was told to explain my problem to the manager. I was shown to a woman who looked at me as if she wanted to be somewhere else. No greeting. No smile and zero apology. No customer care skills. Not interested at all. Thanku for nothing rubbish management. P.s oh yes how rude of me i nearly forgot i ordeded 2 glasses of wine prior 2 our føod order. I didnt pay for these. But i wasnt offered this. I had to ask. Never again. Poor poor poor. . Zero customer care skills. Sad!

We occasionally visit this fish and chip restaurant in Baldock. It is in a period buliding in the High Street, upstairs above the fish and chip shop. The service is always friendly and prompt and one of the better features is that the excellent fish is freshly cooked to order. The ambience is very pleasant and the expience always positive
