Fishionados in Torbay

We was running late so stopped to get chips. Once we crossed the road and started to eat then we noticed just the top few was warm the rest were COLD didn't have time to go back . For the rest of our holiday we avoided

Not sure if this place has changed owner but minuscule piece of fish. Might aswell have been a goldfish. About 5 chips aswell, the can was the best part. £13 for that… gobsmacked. They need to sort it out

If you like soggy chips, oily fish and horrible services, this would be the place to go for. I paid £27 for the above product and services, it is amazingly bad.

Went and got some food from here as it opened, prices a bit much- £3.30 for the jumbo sausage. Small portion of chips very small compared to other places. Sausage not very hot. Clean place though. Not a wide range of options but was tasty however.

Not very clean,table was dirty and not wiped from previous customers,expensive and not very nice,very greasy and the chips were hard,batter on the fish wasn’t crispy either abit soggy.

Fast friendly service. Dog friendly outside. Fish and chips cooked to perfection batter on the fish was light and crispy. The prices on view were very competitive or better than others!! Will definitely use again when visiting Torquay!

Good fish and chips well cooked but unfortunately the mushy peas where hard and dry and I paid to have the large but it had a small amount of chips very disappointed but in general was good I can recommend. Mr. Wig. YouTube

This was the best fish I've had in a long time. The cod was fresh and succulent and the batter was really light - tempura style. The chips were good as well Will return!

The food was greasy. I ordered a milk shake for £3:75, what a rip-off. It was less than a 1/4 pint of milk with banana syrup in. I complained so he made me another but I watched him from the kitchen door and this time he put 2 teaspoons of ice cream in it which gave it a least a little flavour. How mean can you get! It would be very sad if a parent ordered this for their child :-(

Having visited Fishionados previously, albeit some time ago, we were expecting a similar level of service and food quality but were very disappointed. First of the table was dirty and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. The floor didn’t look clean either. Don’t take any notice of the pictures in the gallery that show plates, cutlery and metal side dishes. Everything was served in polystyrene with disposable wooden spoons which we collected from the counter. There was no table service. We were even requested to dispose of the containers ourselves in a bin on exit. The chips were mushy and not crisp. The fish was thin and though it might seem odd to say smelt ‘fishy’. The staff did not smile once or make any effort to make us feel welcome. Considering the price of the food we considered this a very poor experience and as ‘locals’ will not be visiting again.

Great place for fish and chips. Fish sizes huge and could maybe have gotten away with sharing one. Tables available inside and out but can sometimes get busy.

We fancied takeaway fish and chips whilst away for the weekend and found Fishinado’s. Great service, good portion sizes and delicious. Recommend anybody in the Torquay area to visit here.

Having sampled most of the outlets nearby I can state that Fishionados has the best Fish and Chips in the Torquay and Preston area!

Really lovely crispy battered cod and chips. Portions are big so we shared the takeaway option of £8.99 for a large cod and chips. We enjoyed it sitting on the seafront. There is dine in availability with slightly more expensive prices. Recommended.
