Fisherman's Wharf Ltd. in Stevenage

I had chips from here in sept 17th & I went in there , I liked the chips so ordered on just eat veggie combo , cod & chips & again it was very good. I will recommend it & order again online & visit the shop. I say good things about the place so far out of a lot of places this is my favourite place. Well done & thank you.

During Furlough/lockdown we were incredibly tolerant with restaurants as they were under incredibly pressure and reviewing them was unfair. So this is my first review in 19 months. The Fisherman's Wharf was always a favourite so we were glad that the quality of the food and expertise of the staff have not changed. I would recommend before COVID and I'll still recommend it.

Deserving recommendation for consistently good quality hot food and service, where satisfaction of both online and visiting customers is key. 5 star food hygiene rating.

I love fish but even my son said what hell was that!! it looked good crispy batter but man the fish tasted ugh!! put down to just unlucky it happens but will still order but not fish son love his dinner

Fisherman's Wharf is performing better than it has at any time in the 20 years or so that I have been using it I'd say. Staff are unfailingly friendly and polite and the fish and chips can stand comparison with the best in town, good value too. The curry sauce is far better than that served up in some nearby establishments which shall remain nameless.

I come here when I visit my daughter and son the curry sauce is to die for. It’s all fresh and delicious

Been going here for years, Jason and co make the best fish and chips in town. Curry sauce is the absolutely incredible, no where else comes close! Great menu and great chippy! Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for freshly made fish and chips which are not too greasy, generous portions freshly made with lots of flavour then you will not be disappointed. Tucked away in the old town and has been going for years, nothing pretenious just good old fish and chips. Best chip shop around in our opinion!

If you like freshly cooked fish with a light crisp batter and perfect chips this is the place for you. We have recently moved to Stevenage and it's worth the journey to the Old Town for this lovely food. Ring ahead for bespoke orders like large haddock to save any waiting but BE WARNED...Fish and Chips this good might have an affect on your diet :)

I love the fish and chips from this place - the chips are exactly as they should be. Big, fluffy, dry, crunchy and soft! I live in Hitchin and will quite willingly drive to Stevenage for the fish and chips from here. No other chip shop compares!

I visited this place for the first time for many months and the fish and chips were excellent -I wiil be back

We have fish and chips from here once every couple of months and while tonight's wasn't quite up to usual standards, it warrants four stars overall. The fish is fresh with good crispy batter and the chips better than most in the area. We shared a large cod (freshly cooked) and large chips and it was ample for two and cost £6.70.

small chip shop iv used many times,,,same guy runs it he friendly and helpful, chips are great, sometimes a little wait to get on Fridays he so busy.

Live right by this place and we often pop in. Good qualty and good portions, would recommend to everyone.

Un poco en el lado graso, pero tenía un sabor . Las raciones eran un poco mezquino . algunas de las tartas y savaloys y comida se veía un poco nuked ya que ha sentado allí por un tiempo. Estaba bien ... llena un agujero. No hay nada especial ... parece un poco sucio desde el exterior y no ha tenido la fecha durante años. Es una pequeña tienda encendidos con servicio razonable ... no está mal si a casa desde la calle alta y quieres tomar unas cuantas patatas fritas ... no me hacen que el viernes por la noche .

Pasé por esta tienda de chips y vimos unas cuantas personas haciendo cola, me pareció que estaba muy popular, por lo que decidí intentarlo. Las patatas fritas y excelente calidad en fresco. Ahora estoy a regular, cada vez que vaya el servicio y la comida nunca dejará de sorprendernos.

Pescado frito recién, nada especial pero eficiente y cortés hasta me dejaron probar una salsa antes me decidí.

I can not fault this place, we have always had great food and quick friendly service. Might be a small place but it produces big food. Tasty, not greasy and fresh
