Simply superb. The best fish and chips we have eaten in years. The batter was perfect and the homemade sauces were amazing. This place is a must if visiting Robin Hood’s Bay

Long queue and long wait with the buzzer queue system, however it was well worth it! We've got fish and chips here for 20 years, but even after changing hands the quality of the offering has remained the same. Crispy battered cod, golden fluffy chips and excellent mushy peas all cooked to order. Even the British summer weather couldn't spoil it!

Take Away …Batter very well done to the point of almost burnt .. always go to Sandsend .. sadly this was a big disappointment

We went to this fish and chip shop a few time dusting our stay this week. These are the best fish and chips we have had in long time. Big portions and tasty. The service was great too. Well done.

Take out fish and chips as they should be. Lovely crisp batter, tasty fish good chips and the curry sauce just topped it off! Extremely popular so expect a long wait albeit worth it!

Gorgeous fish and chips cooked to order, fish lovely and fresh and white, just enough batter that was light snd crisp and chips cooked to perfection - my only niggle is that there was quite a few small scrappy chips too which I don’t like but would definitely go back again.

What a fabulous find! Food cooked fresh to order and fantastic quality, the best scampi I’ve ever tasted, the haddock was beautiful and mushy peas better than I’ve had in a long time. So helpful and the kitchen is spotless. Very popular and definitely worth a return visit (even worth the trek back up those steps!) you made our day today.
