Fish and chips in Kingston upon Hull, City of

Very nice overall except for the batter on fish far to thick, undercooked and sloppy on the inside. Chips excellent as was the mushy peas. If they get the batter right it would certainly be one of the best chippies going.

Really enjoyable meal, fish was fresh and everyone really enjoyed it. Will happily come back another time:)

Had fish and chips today 30 mins after it opened- eerily quiet in there with no customers- it was the worst meal ever. The chips were cold and extremely greasy and the fish was dry with a very hard batter- like it had been fried twice or something. Totally inedible and a complete waste of money- if I hadn’t been back at work I’d have taken it back- disgusting Would have easily potted any window it was so hard

I use this shop in Gipsyville occasionally and whilst it's normally very good on occasions it is not as hot as it should be. Value for money is very good

My experience here was terrible. I could have soled my shoes with the fish, like rubber, chips were thick grease and cold by the time I got home, 5 mins from shop. I did write this review in January but unfortunately went on Kingfisher Endike Lane review page, which I can only apologise for.

Went here last Saturday night for a fish and chip supper because the chippie i usually go to was closed, I am so glad it was closed because this is the best fish and chips I’ve had in years ,,,, will definitely be going here on a regular basis.

Have been going here since it opened years ago and even though its changed hands a few times the quality never changes. .the fish is lovely and if you want it skin off they.ll remove it for you..the chips are always nice aswell..try try try

thought the fish and chips were of decent quality and a very large portion also good value for money,the only let down for me was the fish wasn't skinned there are so many fish shops in the area i would have thought skinning the fish was a must these days.

We have called here on numerous occasions and always been satisfied with our takeaway fish and chips. The fish is well cooked and the staff are always pleasant

Great quality food and service, sometimes have to wait for your food but only because the food is so good and there is usually a lot of people in the shop.

you never have to wait long no matter how long the queue is my family used it for years must try large fish

Good portion size, lovely fish and not too greasy! The price is right too, medium fish and chips less than £4.

This is the second kingfisher in hull but somehow it's listed as "fish and chips" which I suppose it's right because the do proper fish and chips
