Handy place to soak up the beer from the night before, big breakfast and friendly service. There are not many of these types of caff's left with so many chains, cherish it.

Stopped by for a bacon and sausage Sarnnie. Menu looks simple yet varied ( in a good way) for the mains. Great tasty food. Friendly staff. Support your local independent places !

Lovely little cafe at Chepstow station. Very friendly and welcoming. Our dog was given lots of fuss and a sausage! We ordered 2 breakfasts, 2 drinks and 2 takeaway chips. The bill came to just over £20! Our breakfasts were delicious and I'm told the chips were the best ever! Highly recommended. They now will take a card payment (older reviews say cash only). Car park very near and was free when we visited because the machine wasn't working!

Today I collected Bacon Sarnies for the builders at my house, ate mine on way there - yummy! Youngest builder said “better than mums! Have visited the First Class Café , at Chepstow Station on a number of occasions for breakfast. Each time, i have been delighted with the quality of my meal. Cooked always to my liking, and always a warm welcome upon arrival. The Café itself is always clean and well presented , Very reasonably priced, and a lovely place to eat

I'm not sure if they have paid for reviews or what, but if you visit here thinking it's the best Chepstow has to offer food-wise you will be disappointed. Perfectly fine for what it is, but doesn't even make my top 10 places to eat in the area. Goes to show you really can’t rely on Trip-adviser when looking for places to have a nice meal!

Very dog friendly. Sat outside in the fresh air with my dog and the owner's dog. Both called Oliver. We were made to feel very welcome.

Called in sat morning sign out side said eat in or take away lady inside said we could only sit out side nobody else there so why we could not eat in i dont know to cold to sit out side hence we did,nt stay and businesses complain trade is down.

It’s a pity that it’s only when I’m going to the train that I think of eating here. Superb home made food, the best soups and sarnies and breakfasts. It’s a real little gem of a place. 👍

A traditional cafe serving food lovingly prepared and served. My favourite are the faggots with half 'n half... half chips and half mash; with beans or peas. You cannot beat the First Class Breakfast if you don't want to eat for the rest of the day. On cold days the coal fire is a treat. Above all Nicky and Holly make you feel delightfully welcome and very special. 100% recommend.

Always enjoy our visits to the cafe at the train station. Good service accompanied by good food and drink. The atmosphere is always great and just what you want for a proper full English breakfast!! Couldn’t recommend strongly enough.

we visited on a weekday morning,decided to go in for a coffee and sausage sandwich,Unfortunately due to the overbearing cooking smell(think the oil needed changing),we just ordered coffees and drank them outside in the fresh air.We were so disappointed as we have good reports re the food at the cafe.Maybe this was a one off,so will try another visit.I have rated the food as average even though we did not eat.but what i did see on someones plate looked reasonable.

First class, as the name suggests. I have called into this café several times for breakfast and I have never been disappointed. Freshly cooked and tasty. Staff are always cheerful. Small but clean and very reasonable. Definitely the place to go if you want a good breakfast.

I run a motorcycle training school and we are always on the lookout for biker friendly cafes.First Class Cafe has been a favourite of mine for several years.Always welcoming and friendly.Located in the Old ticket office building at Chepstow Railway Station, and has been decorated to keep its railway links.Food is freshly prepared to order and is great value.There are some free parking spaces immediately outside, but there is a larger free car park adjoining.Follow the signs for the railway station and the road leads you straight to it.Their log burner fire was lit today, which was very welcome on a rainy winter day.It's so good, we called in there twice today.We've been before, and we'll definitely go again.

Stopped off on a bike ride for a breakfast. Friendly service , all areas were very clean good food and good value, nice dog try not to feed him too many sausages as he's getting a bit barrel like. .

Firstclass Cafe catered for our breakfast the morning after our Wedding at St Tewdrics with Hot Bacon Rolls and Sausage baps, it really went down a treat with all our guests the food was superb, we have been to Firstclass Cafe for breakfast too, can't recommend them highly enough, lovely staff and amazing freshly cooked breakfast and lunch.

Good value breakfast food for a dozen hungry cyclists. Served efficiently with welcoming smiles. We’ll come again.

Good English breakfast and low cost. Not much atmosphere it is the station restaurant but food is good.

Nicky’s omelette are amazing, as is the rest of the food. Nutritious, freshly prepared, freshly cooked, piping hot and all served with a smile.

I will admit I only went in for coffee & a cake following a day out in Chepstow on the train.

This little gem was a short walk of 15 minutes or so from Chepstow Castle, which we had visited just before. Sweltering heat meant we were quite ravenous, hence the wife and I opted for the first class breakfast and that is exactly what it was. We can't have waited much more than 5 minutes before we had two heaping plates of delicious full English in front of us (not for long!). One lady was serving and she appeared to be, from my estimates, the owner. She was polite and even gave me directions to the nearest cash point (cash only). Prices were exceptional for the quality, on the food alone I didn't go over £14. Needless to say, I would recommend anyone to go here and I would 100% return again. It's located inside the train station so if you fancy a meal before work, do it!

The amount of banter I receive from the two lovely girls from within (who can also sing...not always in key but ) is second to none , oh and the food is blinking good as well .

My partner and I visited last minute before heading home to Yorkshire and stumbled across this place! The two women were very nice and accommodating and they made an incredible English breakfast! I honestly wished we lived closer so we could visit again!

Stopped here for breakfast before going racing at Chepstow,20 minute walk away,and found the cafe to have a really nice feel with the two hosts welcoming and helpful providing us with phone numbers for local taxis for later that evening.We had four breakfasts of which 2 were slightly amended by and for us with no problems at all and have to say you could tell they were cooked fresh to order,and with pride,fabulous.Would without doubt look them up the next time we’re in the area and would wholeheartedly recommend a visit.

Very convenient for a breakfast stop when passing through Chepstow .Welcoming coal fire was alight and complememented the warm welcome from the very pleasant multi-tasking lady who was running the café single handedly.

Absolutely amazing warm and welcoming atmosphere. Nicky and the team were so nice and understanding that it was my babies first visit. Making us feel relaxed and happy ensuring our 4month old baby noah wouldnt be a bother. They all went out their way to make sure everything was ok and we were happy. Good, tasty breakfast. Well priced, good service and a nice start for going out for the day. Four clean plates and all for just over £20. Ideal for anyone who is catching the train or doesn’t fancy going to Wetherspoons.

Stopped off for breakfast and really pleased with the food fresh cooked and well served. Open from early and is in what would have been the Christie Railway Station buildings. Ignore sat nav follow the signed for the railway station. Free parking next door so ideal position.

Its not open on Sunday. What a Sunday roast that would be. The breakfast is top notch as are the other dishes on the menu. All home cooked and delicious. What more can be said.

As the #1 place for a breakfast in chepstow I arrived first things on a saturday morning with high expectations and wasn't disappointed ! Had the first class breakfast freshly cooked, a generous plate full. The friendly and chatty owner makes the place very homely. Highly recommend and will come against next time I'm in town.

On 16th June, my wife and I and 4 friends visited the Firstclass café on our way from Cornwall to a narrowboat holiday in Wales. We called in following recommendation on TripAdvisor and we weren't disappointed. An excellent place to eat, the food was 'Firstclass' and excellent value for money. The staff were extremely friendly and all food cooked freshly and delivered together. I'd have no problem visiting here again and would recommend anyone in the area to try it.

We had a tasty, filling breakfast at Firstclass cafe. I had a large vegetarian breakfast. This big plate of food is a bargain.

I’ve been to this place many times. There’s always a friendly greeting from the owner. I’ve eaten many meals here but you won’t go wrong if your looking for a full English first class breakfast it really is lovely a great portion always leave satisfied. And the location is fab being right next to the train station.

The First Class café is a smashing little café with a good range of cooked food. It's located close to Tesco and beside the station. I popped in for a proper cooked breakfast and was very happy with the food and service. Very nice little place. Oh, payment by cash - a little curious in this day and age but the prices were very reasonable and the "Cash Only" signs are very clear.

After an early start to travel to Wales on the Bank Holiday Saturday, we were ready for breakfast at Chepstow. I looked at Tripadvisor for recommendations and the Firstclass cafe came up with some good reviews. The cafe is situated at the railway station, a short walk out of the main town. The breakfast menu is extensive, from the huge Firstclass breakfast which my husband tackled, to a roll filled with items of your choice. It was all piping hot and delicious. the lunch menu looked very inviting too and all so reasonably priced. It set us up well for the day.

Great food and always a friendly welcome. Use it with my colleagues on a weekly basis, highly recommended.

Was visiting the station on business and decided to have their "First Class Breakfast". The plate it was served on was enormous and the quality of the food was excellent. The coffee was great as well. This place is highly recommended!

When we 1st arrives at this historic establishment we didn’t know what to expect, but by golly, it delivered. This breakfast was a feast for the eyes almost as much as the beautiful lady that took our order, the younger one wasn’t bad either. The only thing I didn’t like is that it had to come to a end. Like my whirlwind marriage to Derick. In fact this breakfast was like most of my relationships.. quick, cheap and a mouth full of sausage. Best wishes xx

Staying in the area we searched around for somewhere to have breakfast on our first morning as we’d not yet found a supermarket for provisions. Both supermarkets and dog-friendly places to eat seem to be in short supply and it was almost lunch time before we happened upon the Firstclass Cafe.

lovely café , nice atmosphere , lots of choice , different environment to a bog standard café , clean and bright . all 3 of us had something different I chose the vegetable curry which was delicious . my nephew had the meat pie and my mum had the sausage and onion dish with mash and peas , and they both enjoyed their meals .Very good portion sizes aswell good value for momney

We were gasping for a cup of tea, waiting at the station, and the cafe had closed for the day. By our good fortune, the proprietor happened to come back to cash up for the day; "I would be happy to make you a cuppa to takeaway" she replied.Every such example of outstanding service deserves to be recommended and supported.Make time to stop at this cafe if you are ever in Chepstow.

There are some free parking spaces directly outside. I've eaten here many times. Always freshly prepared. But today was just a coffee stop. A very welcome mug of milky coffee. I'll definitely be back. . It's first class.

It so was nice to start our journey today at the Firstclass Cafe. A hearty cooked breakfast and a proper cup of tea. The staff were friendly and the food set us up for the day. Thank you. I think it's the only time I didn't care that the train was delayed!!!

Nice clean cafe, breakfast was quite nice but a little on the small side for the price. Was surprised that we had to get up and get our breakfast rather than having it brought to the table.

Second visit today. First was great and this one was just the same. Called in with my mate on an 80 mile ride. Stopped here at 50 miles for a brekkie and coffee. My mate had poached eggs on toast which were cooked exactly how they should be (runny). I had the standard breakfast, which was superb but left me wishing I'd had the bigger version. Not because I was still hungry but because it was just how a fried breakfast should be and left me wanting to keep eating. Very good prices and friendly faces. Going to Wales next week and will definitely call in on the way back to stroud for another visit. Hoping the lunches are as good as the breakfast. Highly recommended.

This was our first stop and meeting place for our weekend away. The service was good and in no time at all considering we arrived at a busy time were seated and tucking into a substantial breakfast, glad I went for the standard!! And set us up for the day. Our golf tour group stopped off for a hearty breakfast and got all that with good value and a nice welcome thrown in for good measure. Worth stopping for.
