Aroma in Monmouthshire

This establishment is a great find. There is adequate free parking at the back of the establishment which is situated in a pleasant shopping area. The service was excellent and the coffe and teacake were superb. My only complaint is that the coffe cup was a little too small but would definitely re-visit.

Wow! This place is amazing, great food, super portions, well cooked and tastes fab. Nice to see somewhere serving fried bread!!! Service with a smile too. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend 😊🙏🏻👍🏻

Nicely cooked fresh food served with a friendly smile, a very good option if you are visiting Chepstow and don't want the standard chain cafes.

Nice cafe with friendly staff and a good range of reasonably priced breakfasts and meals - the bacon was exceptional!!!When we visited it was "cash only" but could get cashback from the shop opposite. Free parking behind the cafe.

The breakfast was great, I will 100% be going back when I'm in the area. The lady that served us was very friendly and smiley with my little one. I'd recommend going here.

First time at this restaurant, plenty of room with extra room upstairs with a bit of a art deco feel. Wide choice of meals and prices are ok. There's parking close by. They only take cash which nearly caught us out and there were no cash machines close by.

Don't go here unless you LOVE good food. This place is probably the best cafe I have been to in the last few years. The staff are friendly, kind and can be very funny, as an added bonus they have had a 5-star hygiene rating since the day they opened. This is the place that introduced me to Turkish sausage, I have been hooked ever since.

Delicious vegetarian breakfasts with good size portions. Quick service with a smile. Surprised you cannot paid by card it's cash only.

We had lunch here. Nice to see a decent selection of vegetarian options and they have decaff tea. The tea was in a good sized cup and hot and strong. We all ordered something different, yet the food arrived quickly and all together. My salad bowl with grilled halloumi was really tasty and filling. Pasta in a mushroom and cream sauce is my husband's favourite and he enjoyed that too. My mum had her favourite tomato soup and it came with thickly buttered white bread, just how she likes it. The café is cash only. The toilet is upstairs and was clean and tidy. A very pleasant lunch.

I do like the service I do save points in Aroma cafe for tea and coffee ☕ I have had breakfast at Aroma cafe I have had lunch here the staff are nice and friendly I'd come again.

This places has a good menu . Well cooked food good size portions, everything was hot. Unfortunately too full for dessert so just had good coffee . Services was lovely she was smiley & polite & nothing too much trouble . Will definitely be eating here again & will recommend Aroma.

No dairy free milk or butter which I found pretty poor and excludes people with dairy allergies and vegans . Still managed to order some sort of breakfast so given 2 stars - but no tea or toast to go with it :(

Perfect for meeting the boys before rugby. Asked for my scrambled eggs soft but came out rubbery. Not to worry tasted nice anyway.

We go every week and love Aroma. Always quick, good service. It is simple (food, layout etc) but we love that. You always know what you will get. They don't take card so remember to bring cash!

We went to the cafe for a pre Christmas Breakfast with my work colleagues. There were 9 of us in total and the team at Aroma were fantastic. All the meals were huge, tasty and hot and the service was amazing. Its an annual event for us but they always take great care of me and the team... thanks all

Had the breakfast feast. It was as described, a feast! Decor feels a bit dated but food was as you'd expect for a local cafe. Wouldn't go as far to call it a greasy spoon though.

The staff are friendly, patient & helpful & seem happy to chat with those customers who want to 'pass the time of day'. The food is bountiful & delicious. 😋 You can often request a substitution item or added extras to your principal meal. Prices are very good for the well-filled plates laid before you. Yummy! 🙂

I've been here 4 or 5 times over the past few years, every time is relaxing, welcoming and the food exactly as I like it. The staff and owners are very nice and that makes a big difference to me. The food is quickly prepared, cooked well, it's simple cuisine but that's what I like and they do it very well.

Cafe did look closed from the outside but was open. They didn't take cards for payment which caught me out. Big size portions and didn't have to wait long for food.

Friendly and happy atmosphere, the meals are all cooked fresh and tastes great definitely value for money.

Great quality food and plenty of it!

Popped in for a snack style lunch and was not disappointed. The coffee is as good as ever and both of us opted for the freshly cooked mushrooms on 2 slices of whoiemeal toast. There was a generous portion of mushrooms for each of the two rounds of toast each and the meals were served fresh and hot and at less than £8/head with two hot drinks each represented really good value for money. The menu is extensive and making a choice is never difficult. We will return. I must admit that the "with chips" meals on a nearby table looked tempting too.....next time!!

Stopped in between meetings for some much needed food opted for the Aromas feast, and feast it was! Nice solid all day breakfast, swapping tomato for Black pudding was helpful and a nice touch. Bacon was particularly nice. Service as a little slow but then the place was packed at 10am so to be expected. Good value food and will me up for rest of day.

Popped in here after visiting the castle. Food was well priced, freshly cooked and the portions were very generous. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very highly recommend

Great breakfast well cooked and presented. The portion size was very large, eggs and toast cooked to perfection. Staff were really friendly, toilets very clean and spacious. Only a little drawback was that you couldn't pay by card below fifteen pounds. In this day and age a bit weird, luckily I had some money on me.

A small café in the middle of caldicot which does not disappoint, it was very clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful and polite ( genuine people) there was plenty of choice on the menu and every meal we saw come out looked lovely we opted for egg on toast and a lovely mixed salad and when it came out it looked too good to eat due to the lovely presentation but it also tasted lovely and my daughter can be very fussy, would definitely pop in again when I don't want to cook etc.

Small cafe located in a nondescript shopping area. Okay if you are in the area, but don’t make a special trip. They offer a variety of options, from breakfast to burgers. We especially enjoyed the paninis.
