First and Last Inn in England in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Cute pub with lots of history and a nice selection of ciders.There is a deep hole covered with plexiglass and l think it’s the original foundations or a well.

Had a wonderful roast dinner here today with my partner and in laws. Generous portion, perfectly cooked and presented, with cauliflower cheese on the side. It was all delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive. We have struggled to find somewhere that does a decent roast, however this is the second time we’ve been here and it been great both times. Thank you, we will definitely be back 😁

As the pub is the 'last/first inn' in England, we felt it lacked that something that would make it more interesting. The menu has little choice, but, although the food was tasty, we felt it was overpriced for the amount plated. If down this way again, it's not a place to revisit sadly.

For starters it was so loud in there, not a relaxing Sunday lunch as planned, had to ask several times for someone to just clean our table from previous peoples food and drink!!!! Food was very average. Staff were not that friendly and when my son asked for a pool cue to play pool he was told there was none(apparently had all been snapped) 5 minutes later a local goes to the bar and hey presto there’s a pool cue for them(very strange) if your a local you might be ok!!! Told to get to the back of the queue when trying to order puddings when there was no order or queue to be seen. Felt like we weren’t wanted in there. Definitely would not recommend this place.

Went here for the first time having lived in Cornwall for 15 years. Pub is deceptively larger than it looks from the outside. Not a bad place, clean and tidy with a fair selection of drinks. Ordered Sunday lunch which was okay, nothing special, but the service was extremely slow, had to wait ages for the meal to arrive and others were also complaining about how long the food was taking .

in all my years of visiting lands end , I have never been in the First and Last , what a mistake this has been . the greeting at the bar upon entrance was warm and friendly , then menu was varied and well priced...

Called in to this pub during our Cornish Roadtrip, as a tourist, after visiting Land's End. Enjoyed reading the history of the pub, the well, and of course, the Elderflower Prese! Didn't partake in food unfortunately.

Cosy , friendly pub , reasonably priced food and drink. Staying at Seaview Holiday Park it became our local relatively quickly.

Lovely place to eat, food was delicious, staff were very friendly and accommodating. The children really enjoyed playing in the garden play area.

We arrived without a booking, party of 8. The landlord was so accommodating and found us a table. The food was really good, the waitresses could not have been more helpful, all in all a very pleasant experience, highly recommend.
