Cócteles fabulosos y personal amable. Una joya local. Si estás en el área y buscas verdaderos cócteles, no busques más, no hay mucho más en el área que pueda competir.

Fuimos con un grupo grande para el brunch y nos decepcionó mucho porque el brunch tomó aproximadamente una hora para prepararnos. Teníamos una reserva para un grupo grande (de unos 12). Ya todos hemos comido su brunch (creo que 1 persona tenía una versión ligeramente diferente del brunch principal), y tardó aproximadamente una hora en llegar y hubo grandes brechas entre los brunches de los pueblos. Cuando llegó, la comida era muy sabrosa y eran realmente buenos con las bebidas sin fondo. También nos dejaron tocar nuestra propia música, lo cual fue realmente bueno. En general, estuvo muy cerca de ser realmente bueno, pero no puedes tomarte una hora para preparar el brunch (¡incluso si el brunch es bastante bueno!)

Pasamos por aquí el viernes pasado para tomar una copa antes de cenar cerca y quedamos bastante decepcionados en general. El espacio es pequeño, la decoración barata y los cócteles eran bastante mediocres y demasiado caros. Me alegro de haberlo intentado, pero en general, no es probable que vuelva. El personal y el servicio era muy bueno sin embargo.

Grandes cócteles divertidos, bebidas serias y servicio amable (gracias Lottie). Realmente disfruté mi visita a este peculiar den del sur de Londres. La música en el bar de la habitación de atrás también era genial. Nos lo pasamos de maravilla y volveremos, ya que hubo algunas bebidas que vimos en otras mesas que no pudimos alcanzar.

I booked a table at this place for my daughters 21st and my birthday. On entering we were seated at our table.... right next to the door with it banging against the table on anyone’s entering or leaving. It was very quickly apparent that the website is very clever and the “theme” is pretty basically applied. A few first aid boxes and red crosses here and there and a poster or two. A shame as with some effort the theme could work much better. The staff seemed that they couldn’t care less about most things, I’d put on the online reservation about our birthdays and even if it wasn’t I’d expect better service. For example when reading the cocktail menu the waitress came over and asked if we were ready to order, when I said we didn’t know what some of the drinks were. Instead of helping, she just said, I’ll give you longer and walked away. After ordering three drinks one was ok, one was basically raw egg and the other a nice fancy cocktail presented in a smoke filled glass dome... unfortunately the waiter who brought it didn’t give me time to enjoy that as he put it down, removed the dome and walked off.... so basically left me a glass.... We had booked for food as well but the menu was pretty basic and as we were surrounded by what were once jars of preserves but are now mouldy and off putting... and after a trip to the bathroom which is one Toilet that opens across a hand wash area into an open area to the kitchen and is full of damp and more mound as well as childish graffiti I decided it wasn’t the place to eat. I’m pretty sure your required to have two doors between a toilet and an eating or food prep area. On asking to pay and leave the waiter asked why we were going but again made no offer to consolidate, apologise or make good, he just said it was busy... I saw only another 4 people.... but as it’s much smaller than you’d think maybe that’s too much for the staff. This place is over priced for the level of effort they’ve put in to the theme or the service. It is tired, moulding and needs first aid itself...

Nice space for a brunch in Herne Hill. Pea pancakes were really delicious and very well priced. Downside was that, for a table of 6, we were in a very small space which on one of the hottest days of the year made things a bit uncomfortable. We enjoyed our blood orange mimosas, but the clarified bloody mary didn't quite work for us. Will definitely be back to try cocktails in the evening, as the collection of ingredients that they have on display is very impressive.

A last minute, impropmtu trip to First Aid Box delievered both good food and superb cocktails. It’s unassuming location does make it feel as though this will be nothing out of the ordinary however it delivered. The cocktail list was quite extensive but what impressed the most was the waiters ability to match one to each course. All of them were exceptional. The food menu is relatively straightforward but the soup was packed with flavour and the steak was sublime, a real treat. Definitely worth going for dinner and if not just for the brilliant cocktails on offer.

The staff (gentleman called Dave) really looked after us. We will definitely return, the cocktails where 👌🏼

Friends have been a few times for breakfast and raved about it. 5 of us went for dinner, 2 of us had the lamb, which arrived cold and very small portion for £16.00. Thr service was also very poor, although very polite, the waitress could do with some training! We had to ask numerous times for salt and pepper, water and extra bread. I definitely wouldn't go again for dinner, but but give their breakfast a go if in the area again. Overall rather disappointing

Came here after visiting the Shrub and Shutter (sister bar and restaurant). Was not disappointed! Great mix of original cocktails and good food.

We've had several good meals here recently, the guys are nice, it's not full and we can bring the dog. Win/win! Best of all are their cocktails which are fantastically inventive and made with some of their odd experimental concoctions.

I have recommended First Aid Box to more people than I can shake a stick at, phenomenal cocktails, and brilliant service!

Came here for dinner - the selection of food is really great - great flavours combined to make really good food. Good beer on tap and friendly service. All in all a great night and I will be back!
