FIREPIT - Beverley in East Riding of Yorkshire

Had a drink and played pool with my friends i usually come in once a week and the bartender is always really nice and talkative

First visit to Firepit but it won’t be the last! Upon arrival we were very impressed with the general look of the place, very nicely designed to give a low key, casual but still very stylish feel. We visited early on a Saturday evening and it was pretty full and lively but we were quickly shown to our booth by our lovely waitress. The food menu is designed for casual dining with a great choice of food. There’s an excellent atmosphere to the place with pool tables, arcade machines, darts and other great games to try. We were very well looked after by our waitress, Holly, who was very friendly and attentive throughout. Two of us tried the burgers and one had a selection of small plates, and we all agreed the food was delicious. All in all a very pleasant experience. We will definitely return in the future to sample more of the menu, the tacos looked particularly good when we saw them being brought out to other customers!

Had a great evening good was great. Reece and his team were very attentive and helpful, even putting F1 qualifying on for us. Had food, cocktails and shots, then a few games of pool. Perfect evening thanks guys !

Amazing meal, great atmosphere and brilliant service. Jess and Holly were helpful and attentive and we had a lovely time. Food was top notch, the cheesy tater tots and Philly steak sandwich were particular highlights. 5*

Had a lovely time at the fire pit this afternoon. The new menu is great, especially enjoyed the tater tots and Philly steak sandwich. Service was excellent and a special mention to Kyle who was brilliant :) The atmosphere is good, with live sport playing and various games to play. Would highly recommend.

We came to firepit for lunch and a catch up with friends. Great venue and atmosphere for watching sport. The service was great, Hollie was our server and she was personable taking an interest in our day. We got a variety of different food, which was all delicious. I would recommend the pork dog and tacos. All round great experience.

Cracking meal today (2nd November). Food menu has had a complete overhaul and can thoroughly recommend. I had the hot dog and it was the perfect balance of salt and sweet! Finished off with the warm cookie dough pie! Absolutely lovely! Sports in the background a bonus! Shout out to Hollie looking after us today, so welcoming, friendly and attentive! Kyle also stood out as a hard and attentive worker.

Had a lovely meal at the fire pit this afternoon. The service was great, with a special mention to holly who was super attentive. The food was lovely and the service was fast, would recommend the Philly steak sandwich and cookie dough pie!

Came back as I heard they had a new menu. Was approached by Holly, who was very cheery and lead us to a table with a smile. She was very attentive and even came to say bye as her shift ended which was very kind of her! We ordered food and drinks and were very pleased with the quality of the new food. Props to the chefs Liam and Ryan! Will come again!

Attentive service, straight to the table and check in on a regular basis. Food was fantastic, very flavoursome and well presented. Had small plate each to start (wings and skewers) then burgers for mains. Yum yum ! Along with a good atmosphere and friendly staff

Heard about new management and came in yesterday. Food was excellent, was told it was cooked by Liam and Dave. Our server holly was amazing, taking our order at the table and was speedy. Talk about service with a smile!

Went in with some friends for the ufc. Waiting for at the bar, then got approached by Holly who offered us table service. Service was speedy and friendly. Would come again

Came in for the UFC last night. Was told they did table service and was served by Holly. Very friendly and smiley. Ordered some sides that came very fast as did the drinks. Would come again.

Nice vibe but not a great fan of the football crowd but the drinks were refreshing and our bartender Holly was polite and quick with our order, would recommend.

Great atmosphere for the grand final rugby (although shame about the result) huge screen for sport, games areas for all ages.

Great place to watch the sport. Really like the new social hall side too. Had a great time on the games with my friends. Highly recommend. Will be back to try the new food menu.

Heard about the new management over at the Firepit in Beverley and thought I'd give it a second chance. Very glad to have done this! The clear improvement shown by new manager Jessica and her team of staff is very impressive from before. Will be sure to return again!

Visted on friday night, music was great and the drinks selection, lauren was lovely and looked after us all night! Thank you Lauren!

Visited with my boyfriend today for the football, both had burgers and was really nice, he was happy as Newcastle drew! Lots of screens and staff friendly, will be back

Having pre cinema drinks with family, bar staff lovely and friendly but drinks absolutely extortionate, I ordered nachos with pulled pork and it was all cold the cheese wasn't even melted very poor and very expensive.

My experience at Firepit was fantastic me and a few friends went in to watch the man united vs Liverpool premier league match the atmosphere was electric and was installs greeted warmly by micheal who accounted for our every need all night long the drinks he provided was lovely and refreshing, the food was outstanding aswell I treat myself to the chicken legs and fries which was succulent and exquisite shout out to the chef Ryan did a stellar job I will definitely recommend Firepit to friends and family and will be visiting again

Went to fire pit on Saturday with the family for a meal and had the Mac daddy cooked by the chef David was served by Mai. Food was excellent and service was excellent.

Came here on Saturday day time. Really impressed on the size of the venue and the different games they have in there are great. Came in with the family for some food. Was really impressed with Mia she made my 5 year old laugh throughout our stay. I’d definitely recommend here and we will be back again soon. Thank you Mia

We visited on a Saturday afternoon. Very slow service at the bar , with at one point just one girl serving behind the bar. The staff where extremely rude and miserable looking. They where all moaning, one member of staff sarcastically told a man to go back to his table to get his table number because she cant serve him food without that and then when he left , stood there slagging him off and proceeded to carry on moaning to co worker, this was infront of all other customers. The worst customer service skills I've ever seen. The toilets stunk of urine, they where dirty and had no hand soap in them at all and the entire place looked run down, went to sit down on some leather sofas , and there was exposed sponge and springs sticking out of it. Will not be returning that's for sure.

Not a bad bar, just shame it stops serving at 11:30pm when it closes at 2am!

Came for the rugby and had a burger and pint of poretti' nice clean place, plenty of screens, friendly staff and nice food, great for sport atmosphere

Visited on Tuesday for the England match, booking was quick and easy. Burger and beer deal the food was cooked fresh and table service was given! Really good atmosphere and a good selection of drinks, will be back for the next game!

Fantastic night. Iv Came in for every England match so far n Iv had the same experience everytime although busy the staff seemed to handle it quite well we all got the £20 burger n beer deal and wasn’t disappointed. Mia made us our drinks all night and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely be back.

Came in for the euros, great to watch Engalnd on the huge screen, staff were great and did table service. Food was brilliant and the new beer tower was ace.

Nice theming and seating. However most food was out of stock. Tried ordering some dessert via the app and almost everything was out of stock, even food not marked downed as out of stock. Also forgot a drink I ordered via the app. At £2.50 for an apple juice would really expect better. Won't mark them too low as could of been a kitchen/staffing issue but more signage or notice could of been posted about this.

I went here with a group of friends to watch the Rugby League final. Go outdoor seating and plenty of space inside. A good number of TVs to watch sports and reasonably priced drinks. Good place to go watch sport on an afternoon with mates. Arcade section is pretty good and plenty of entertainment to keep you busy. Will definitely go again with mates.

Although this is a nice sport bar, large and accommodating and friendly staff, the food is just awful! It’s boring convenience food and when I ordered a sandwich with fries for my daughter, it came out on a burger bun with the chicken being dry and over cooked and the fries were extremely greasy and limp with zero potato or taste. The portion size was rediculous and served in a stupid small plastic basket! A hugely disappointing eating experience. Def not worth the price! I’d rather starve than eat here again!

We went in too late for food but the food that was already served looked very nice. It was pretty busy but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Will go earlier next time to test the food.

Was hoping for a little more. Ordered the brisket and was expecting a smokey bbq experience, instead I got rather bland, all be it well cooked, brisket. The menu stated this was served with slaw and a pickle so I ordered extra fries only for it to arrive with fries. May have just been an off night and it was early in the evening but I felt a little disappointed.

Very big place . Wasn't my cup of tea . But great if you love football .loud football on every TV there was . I'm sure it was a one off though , maybe it's quieter in the week .

The food was lovely, decent size kids meal too, one filled both our young ones. Staff was lovely especially Wayne who served us. Always kind and polite. Would reccomend.

Do not eat here. Hands down the worst food we've ever eaten. Absolutely vile food. Both me and my husband both feel ill after just eating a fraction of the garbage they served us. Do not recommend for food.

Me and a few friends went into Firepit Beverley to watch the FA CUP semi final of man united vs Coventry. As soon as we entered we was nicely greeted by a bartender called Mia who was very accommodating and catered perfectly to our needs, it was fairly busy but that didn’t stop us from getting our lovely cocktails rapidly and food which was delightful came just as quick just in time for kick off, I ordered the mac daddy burger which was succulent and was presented beautifully. I asked the staff who the chef that made the burger was and they told me it was Dave big shout out to him for the food All in all the venue was lovely and food and drinks was amazing along with friendly helpful staff all across the board will definitely be recommending to friends and family and coming again

Came in for Liverpool game, massive TV which was a surprise. Mia served me my drinks and was lovely and welcoming. Ordered a Smoked Bacon and Cheese Burger which was cooked by dave food came out quick and was nice, Definitely coming again.

Visited to watch Liverpool v West Ham, massive screen and commentary on, great atmosphere, friendly staff and the burger was really nice, would recommend!

Came in this evening for some food with my mates and stayed for the night due to the amazing staff and great value on food and drink. Would recommend the babe burger, juicy pork and bbq sauce was great, staff friendly and nothing was too much fir them.

Not a bad venue but the service was terrible. The waitress was moody grumpy and not very helpful. She literally threw our food on the table. I will not be visiting again.

I've been coming to Beverley firepit since it's been open .. and every time I come it's been a good experience. However today's overall experience was pretty poor. For starters the staff were lovely and not at fault for the experience but this review is more aimed at the food and especially the drinks, more specifically the soda. I ordered a Pepsi cherry max which i was told when I ordered they still had. When served it tasted foul like cardboard mixed with plastic. I assumed the syrup for the machine was empty so I asked for another one which turned out to taste the same again. I went up a second time and asked about the cola and was responded with a patronising response of "Oh it's just cola...its just.cola" of which didn't really answer the question other than telling me it's not what I asked for. Turns out they've changed the brand to some cheap watered down cola and didn't tell me its changed. Next the food I ordered was a brisket dog which was less appealing than I realised. Instead of shredded beef it was semi cold strings of beef hap hazzardly slapped all over the hotdog which was also gristly and slimey and it didn't even have any beans in it. Some of it may seem petty but at the end of the day the experience has dropped substantially and I'm not inclined to come again.

I have the pulled pork. It was flavourless and not at all worth the money. My wife had a burger, it was excellent.

Group of 7 of us in for food and drinks. Great service from Hallie and the food chef David made was super. Highly recommend.

Ordered some food tonight that cost a good £41/£42 all together for a group of us, many of us had the dirty fries and every single one of us got over cooked chips that had no flavour but burnt with absolutely no potato inside the chips. Was just completely hollow fries that were very dry and crunchy. This was extremely disappointing as we normally come here every Monday after football. Think we will steer away from the fries for now. Burgers have never let us down though and the staff are very friendly and always give us a warm welcome. On top of this some of our food didn’t come out correctly (waffle fries were missing jalapeños and after asking for only one dirty fries to come without onions, all of them came without onions.) We had really high hopes for tonight’s food too as we were all extremely hungry.

came here for a drink with my Father. as soon as we came in we was warmly welcomed by a member of staff called Mia. Mia was very attentive and friendly. service spot on . I wish lots of other places had such great staff. I'll definitely come again.

I came in with my misses for our first date night since my daughter was born. We came in for 1 drink and ended up staying for food and games thanks to Harry. A real friendly guy who made us feel right at home and recommended some really good cocktails for us to try and the burgers were spot on I’d definitely recommend the MacDaddy it was beautiful. Will definitely be back again

Another great night here, I often come in with friends or family and I always love it, staff are brilliant and food is always enjoyable.

Worse ever bar staff! Busy today but stood and waited ten mins to be served (no issue) but when the barman served three people before me that just walked in I did have an issue. He said oh yeah I will serve you next! Forget it you are so disorganised I will spend my monies elsewhere. Tip for the day get new staff!

Terrible service and rude staff. Refused to serve an item and when asked for a refund refused it as well. Food is terrible and highly overpriced. Do not recommend this place

We visited with family to catch the football match, have a drink and something to eat. Harry showed us to our table and was completely charming! He recommended cocktails, which we were all eager to try having seen him skillfully whipping them up at the bar.... delicious 😋 We chose our food which arrived hot and well presented, tasted very good too! Harry kept our glasses refreshed and nothing was too much trouble. I recommend this place both for their fab, friendly service and the relaxed atmosphere, Thank you 🙂

Came in to watch the England v Scotland rugby match. The big screen was amazing for the sport. staff were friendly and attentive. Drinks are great value as well.

Great time here with family and friends, came to watch the 6 nations rugby and have some food and drink. Atmosphere was awesome and food was spot on. Staff looked after us all day.

Went to watch a football match and ordered some chips. Extremely disappointed that these were even allowed to leave the kitchen. Tasted like burnt oil, not the first bad food experience I have had here either.

Came for my boyfriend’s birthday, heard it was highly recommended and honestly we recommend it too ! We was greeted by mikey who took our drinks and food order even sat and gave us some recommendations on what to order ( as a picky eater this was super helpful ) ! He was lovely and food came out fresh and hot super good value aswell came to under £40 for two meals and two sides ! Once we had finished our food we was then served by rhys for the rest of the night who again was lovely stopped and chatted to us throughout the night. Even spoke to chef to say how nice our meal was ! It wasn’t empty but wasn’t full either which honestly made the experience better we got to choose where we wanted to sit and even had a few games on the pool table overall a lovely experience and made the birthday even better will definitely be back again x

Just been ripped off at this filthy cesspit. £33 for two plates of soggy chips and two non-alcoholic drinks, one of which had to be sent back because the glass was covered in something sticky. Save your money and try somewhere cleaner that offers better value for money. This place is a dive.

Visited on Thursday for freeplay, played pool and airhockey. Nice drinks, staff is great.

We went in here last week for lunch whilst shopping in Beverly! I was really looking forward to it as the place seemed really nice and the atmosphere vibrant.however when it came to the food,it was absolutely disappointing… I’ve got the brisket panini and fries but food was cold and cheese not even melted and my partner got the maple chicken waffles and while they were supposed to be covered in maple syrup,well,there was no syrup at all… when asked the staff they said they will get some and right after we saw the man going out to buy some syrup…. We waited and waited,he comes back with honey instead of maple syrup which my partner didn’t want… In all this time food got obviously cold. We’ve been refunded for his food but I never wanna go back to this place again!!!! Staff was friendly and nice but unfortunately not gonna be enough for people to go back there when they had a bad experience!👎👎👎

Great relaxed chow. Needed some substantial food after travelling. Myself and a colleague walked round from the hotel and came across this restaurant. Welcoming from Wayne and made to feel at ease, drink order taken then the food order. Served by Kat for second round of drinks. And food by Liam came. All very good in a chilled friendly atmosphere.

Food not so good over priced rubbish. And just warm been better at McDonald's.far cheaper.will not go again.

Was looking forward to eating here but we're let down terribly. No Mac n cheese was told when ordering so changed. Got the nachos with pulled beef option omg disgusting at £12.50ish. there was no sour cream or salsa and they were cold. The beef had no marinade or colour to it looked like old shoe laces. They'd just tipped nachos out of bag put some cheese on n melted top put some guacamole on side n beef in middle. When I complained they said put mayo n BBQ sauce on which were heinz bottles on table! 5 onion rings and horrible slimy chicken wings. Nice place and staff but won't ever eat there again!

This is a great chilled out bar/diner. It's great for entertainment and live sport. It has some great features including air hockey and a photo booth. Special mention fit Kat and Wayne for great service, and great food. Would definitely recommend.

We visited here early afternoon on New Years Eve and had a brilliant time! The staff are very friendly and were working hard, it was getting busy ahead of the evening celebrations. We had a few games of pool and watched the football in very pleasant surroundings. A big thank you to all the staff, a special mention to Mia who took her cocktail making very seriously!

Came in on new years was really pleased with with our experience came in with my family and was served by Mike really pleasant guy who helped us with my daughter as she’s a fussy eater. Will definitely be back
