Firat in Haringey

I use these boys every week for my elderly Mum and I. We have had kebabs, fish dishes and chicken. Their quality and service is superb and fantastic value for money.

Chips were terrible: dried and shrivelled; I left most of them. The mushy peas weren't nice, either: I left them, too.

Went with my husband having come back by tube following a day in the central london. Tired so decided to eat in the place. Great kebabs, friendly and helpful staff and good value for money. Liked the food so much - we went back 2 days later tried something different and it was just as good. Thanks for x 2 nice meals.

Best kebab shop in the area (freshest salad, and the mixed rice is delicious) great fish and chips too!

Surprisingly light batter and good fish with decent kebabs as well, served by friendly and efficient staff, providing as well a good range of Turkish beers. I go there at least twice a month.

They are usually busy and the fish is fresh and tasty. The chips are good too. Good portion size. Definitely recommend!

We Love the big portion of Kebab!! We love the chicken alot! The staffs and bosses are so friendly and nice. The shop is just 1/2min walk from Bound Green Station Exit. I couldn't my lamb kebab and they are so nice to put into a box and wrap with paper and give me a plastic bag to let me bring back. We are so Happy and Pleased with our experience!

Eat here on Friday night with my 3 Boys. Really friendly greeting and we found a table. Ordered our food and drinks. Cold Efes is always a pleasure. Fantastic appetisers with lots of warm fresh pitta bread. Chicken Shish x 2, Lamb Shish x 1 and Lamb Doner. We really enjoyed our food and the staff were great. Will eat here again when back down from Yorkshire.

Ordered a take away of fish and chips. Fish was ok but I expected nice thick chips but got small hard ones. Like it was the scrap of the barrel. Not going back ever.

More than meets the eye, not just your normal kebab shop. All the kebabs are made on-site and used in one day, and the slaads are fresh and plentiful. When you eat in you seem to get a hell of a deal as you get full salads and dips before your kebab. One of my formed thought it was best kebab outside the middle East. Try it?

Pretty darn good here. I always go go for a chicken donner in a wrap with everything and it's a good place for that. Take friends when they are in the area.

Stopped for a lamb ribs. Got an insane amount of food, lot of bread, rice, salad and plenty of ribs (if a little fatty). But it was absolutely delicious.

If you didn't know about it, you'd probably pass the Firat by as it's in a very nondescript part of North London, in a short row of even more anonymous shops. Just yards from Bounds Green tube, it could actually compete well with 'Kebab Junction' a mile or two away in Wood Green. The meat is fresh and well prepared, the cooking attentive, the salads and 'extras' also fresh and plentiful. There's no such thing as a light lunch here - plenty of bread, sauces and salad to accompany the shish kebabs and rice. The locals know the place and the chef is always chatting to whoever enters. It's a basic café inside, clean and pleasant.
