This place has gone right downhill. How you can get a portion of chips so wrong is beyond me. And at £2 a portion. Threw the lot out -btw ordered at around 7pm so should've been fresh considering it was just after tea time. Had a meal which was nice but all they have to do with that is heat it up as they're pre-made. This is the chippy that a couple of weeks ago cooked it in fat that had been used for sausages and it tasted horrible.

takeaway review: Fish was overdone and cooked in oil that had been used on other food which made it taste bad which is annoying when it costs £5 - use fresh oil or oil only for fish and time it correctly. They have a good menu and generally pricing and food is ok.

Always lovely food from here and great portions. The delivery driver is always really friendly too which makes a difference 😀 Love this place!

Fast efficient delivery, food lovely, big portions would order from there again , crispy duck lovely and the chicken and sweetcorn soup was delish

I got my food on sat was under cooked so I rang to tell them manger said next time u ring we will give u for free so I said fine I won’t put nothing bad on line rang today to try it again said nothing was free and put phone down on me x

Very greasy unappealing food with a weird soapy smell to everything. I gave this place another try several months later and had the same result as the first. Both me and my partner have been sick eating the food and will be avoiding wholeheartedly from now on. Avoid.

Don’t no we’re to start, was swore at by the manager the food was awful, ordered chill an garlic tasted like sweet n sour, salt and pepper dish was like it was done with lazy garlic and lazy chill with a sprinkle of That salt n pepper u buy out of a supermarket worst thing was the abuse from the manager would avoid like the plage

Good as the food generally is here, what's the point of selling chips & curry sauce then not having forks? How are we supposed to eat that in the car? Paid for two burgers and two chips & curry, could only eat the burgers, the rest had to go in the bin. Thanks. Another previsouly good takeaway off the list.

Been ordering each week for last 6 months. Last week the driver in a red car called to say the address was wrong even though we order each week. When he arrived he told me that he wasn’t happy that address was wrong and told me to F-ck off. He then ran after me from his car and spat on my window shouting and swearing. I called the police as my partner is high risk and has been shielding. I called the chippy to report incident and I was told our next order would be free. I have since called twice to order our free food only to be told they no nothing about it and the owner would call me back which he hadn’t done on each occasion. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable to have anyone spit on my door especially during Covid 19. The owner has not replied to my two phone calls. I will not order or recommend this place again. If the drivers can spit on windows what else can they do to your food. You have lost a loyal customer.

I am not a doctor. But what I ordered was exactly what the doc would have ordered if he/she had just been to watch local side Liverpool F.C brush aside Norwich in the first game of the season with a convincing 4-1 win. Meat pie chips and a portion of curry was the order which was not only cooked to perfection but served up by a delightful member of staff who chatted to me with some witty banter until my meal was with me. Thank you Finnagans I shall return.

Horrible this place used to be lovely, it was greasy, the chips were green, crappy spuds. Wont be going again.

Kebab delivered cold. Finnigans Fast Food were helpful and good enough to deliver a new one however the new one I received was also delivered cold. Gave up in the end. Waste of money. Chicken Fried Rice was ok and fine.

The food arrived 45minutes late ,everything was cold and the sauce spilled all over. I've order Vermicelli King Prawns and there were only 5 prawns in it.There wasn't much meat in other dishes either. I definitely won't be ordering from here again.

Ordered from them twice - food is OK/good but something missing on both occasions. I couldn’t be bothered ringing to complain. I had to wait ages to get the food in the first place, I’d be in bed by the time the missing chips turned up!

I placed an order yesterday and the food arrived before scheduled time which was great. Pizza was hot and yummy. I ordered chicken fried rice which was sloppy and just tasted horrible and the chips tasted like pure oil.I did ring to complain and even kept hold of the food and was waiting for the manager to call me back but he never.

Kebabs are amazing and good portions. Pizzas are gorgeous and fresh. Best around would highly reccomend 6*

DO NOT order from here. We ordered Saturday night and having waited over an hour and 15 minutes for our order rang to see where it was to be told it had just been sent out. 40 minutes later still no sign so rang again only to be told that they didn't know if they had received our order as the system was down earlier in the evening. I cancelled the order and was told I would be getting a refund. I've since chased this up twice only to be fobbed off on the phone. Absolutely disgusting service, first and last time I order from there.

Salt overload beyond enable went into the bin, vile, won't be ordering again will be requesting a refund

I like my food salty. I get strange looks when I put 3 sachets of salt on KFC fries.. However the fried rice, chicken satay, salt and pepper chicken fillet were so incredibly salty, we couldn't eat it! I took 2 mouthfuls and couldn't eat anymore.. Disappointed to say the least

To be completely honest, i am absolutely devastated i ordered from here. Our local chinese was closed for the bank holiday so we thought we'd order somewhere new, and finnigans had mixed, but authentic reviews. We ordered what we normally order, because they are staple dishes that every chinese restaurant should be able to nail. We ordered chop suey roll, salt and pepper siu mais, garlic&chili beef and "special vermicelli". the chop suey roll was terrible. Very sour, as if the cabbage was off. The siu mais were actually good(how could anyone go wrong with store bought seasoning). The mains were both terrible. The chili and garlic beef was as if they have added grarlic and chili granules to a sweet and sour sauce, and the vermicelli tasted(and looked) like it had curry or turmeric in. The rice was good (again, how can anyone get that wrong). Im normally not one for leaving bad reviews but when i paid nearly £20 for food that was not really edible (it has all been kept if you wanna come pick it up) i will definitely file a complaint. Sorry guys.

First time ordering from Finnegans. Ordered salt + pepper ribs, meat on the ribs was delicious but could do with a bit more salt and pepper flavouring. Also ordered curry, fried rice and chips, Although I ate it I couldn't decide if I really liked the curry or not. All round not a bad chippy and will probably order again in the future and try some different dishes x

food was awful! chips were soggy and cold and rest of food was cold! curry spilt all over the bag. prawn crackers missing so had to wait for them, when they arrived they were orange full of oil! never again will I order from here not happy wouldn't even give one star

It does say free delivery on leaflets, but they charge a pound and also u normal get a bottle of coke when u spend over 22 Pounds at the shop but not when u get it delivered

I made a bad review about this takeaway Friday evening and really shouldn't have as they called me Friday evening and was so nice telling i could order anything from their menu free of charge and that they was so sorry I was satisfied. Well today I ordered and the food was gorgeous, piping hot and got to say the nicest sui mai's I have ever tasted from a takeaway. Because of the way they was so helpful in wanted to rectify the problem and the food being so delicious this time we will always order from here now and recommend that others do too. Lovely food and brilliant staff.

Had to bin whole order was not edible, rang a few times when I finally got an answer it was the cleaner whom was rude and abrupt which then made me hang up the phone whilst she was in a screaming rant. Waste of money and time.

The food I received was stone cold and inedible, chips was warms up and looked disgusting, burger and donner kebab was freezing. it all went in the bin. Wouldn't suggest ordering from here as we won't be again.

my order was on route for over 30 minutes and arrived cold I rang the shop and was put on to the manager who screamed at me that I'm lying then he put the phone down and refused to answer. my 9 year old daughter is starving and eating cold food because that's what we were sent and I'm in tears. absolute bully of an owner. disgusting customer service I'm disgusted I have never known service like this shop have refused a refund also! shocked

The batter on the fish was far to thick and left the fish soggy, other food was fine.

I've ordered a few times from here and the food has been lovely. Couldn't fault it. Tonight everything went wrong. Food was delivered ontime. Only with a meal missing. The garlic bread was luke warm. Salt and pepper chicken balls where over done and luke warm. Credit to Then though the woman I spoke to on the phone was lovely and apologetic. The missing meal turned up 45 - 50 mins later. Also luke warm and very bland.
