Ordered the 12 taster box for my fiance. Everyone I've tried so far have been amazing. The cookie dough was perfectly cooked. Will definitely be ordering again.

I've just received my order and everything arrived in one piece. All the cakes and brownies are so much more bigger in person which is a plus! I've already tried thr Nutella cake and it tastes amazing.

The cupcakes from here come from heaven, I'm sure of it. The portion sizes are big, so they last a few days. Every time we go they have a different variety of cakes/brownies/cookies etc

I've ordered a few boxes of these after receiving one for my birthday and they are so moreish. The flavour choices are huge and they are delicious, highly recommend!

I seldom revisit or revise my reviews; nonetheless, my recent encounter at Finch Bakery was a stark contrast to my initial, less-than-stellar experience. I'm truly delighted I gave them a second chance, with a special shout-out to the lady who was on duty Friday evening. Her friendly demeanor, warm welcome, and evident commitment to supporting a local customer has won me over.

I go to Finch Bakery for their ice-cream ( which is DELICIOUS ). I have bought cakes ( but ONLY for my lovely lady Audrey and my step daughter Sharon). I haven't heard ANY complaints from them.

En bouche, c'est fondant à souhait, sucré juste ce qu'il faut. Il existe une variété de parfums à tomber. Difficile de choisir. I've been a finch fan for many years and yesterday finally took a trip to the shop which was an hours drive. We arrived at just before noon and the shop was well stocked with a variety of baked goods. I purchased a variety of items and was very pleased with the value for money. The girl behind the counter was very pleasant and friendly which was also a bonus. Having eaten a couple of the goodies already I am definitely even more hooked and hope to travel to the shop again soon!

I specifically asked for whatever had been fresh today, she looked at me funny and pointed to a stall. The cupcake were not fresh and at £6.80 for 3 you’d expect it to be 🤦‍♀️. I really hoped for better.

Went to finch bakery today 13/02/2023 and I arrived at 10.26 am door was open lights was on so one can perfectly assume that it was open . I could hear people talking in the back room and saw a bell to ring .I rang the bell and this grumpy girl we don’t open until 10.30 erm 🫤 the door was open lights on safe to presume you was open ? There’s a closed sign on the door erm well I didn’t see it by this time is was 3 mins until opening time so I asked well is she going to serve me she did so under duress and made it known she was not happy that I had arrived 4 min early with her manner and they way she served me . I could understand if I had arrived half a hour early but 3 min come on. I always pop in when I have meetings for a few cakes so people can enjoy a treat but this has put me right off going again . Yes the cakes are good but the customer service delivery is shocking to say the least . Will I go again? No probably not I just don’t need that kind of service when I chose to shop there

I have visited Finch Bakery a number of times over the years after discovering them on Instagram back in 2018, and have always loved going. I always go for the brownies/blondies as I’m not a massive lover of cake anyway but these are always delicious and never dry. I have also had a few postal deliveries and again these have always been really tasty and packaged very nicely. However, I visited today and was not happy with the customer service I received as the girl who served me was really grumpy, rolled her eyes when I asked for a number of different items and walked away as I was speaking. This is a real shame as it kind of puts me off going again! There wasn’t even a big queue so it’s not like they were trying to get through everybody quickly! I get how everyone has an ‘off’ day but not even one smile was given to me. It was the same to the couple in front of me too. This is really disappointing as I remember the novelty of going was (as well as coming away with loads of good bakes) always having a laugh inside the shop, being greeted and staff always being really helpful, especially Tessa, Lauren and Rachel with all their live Instagrams and it was just chaos but really enjoyable and it was an experience in itself! Obviously I get how much the shop has expanded but I don’t see it as enjoyable anymore, which is a shame. I kind of had a similar experience in the Manchester shop too, staff just not looking happy to be there. I will definitely continue to order online but I don’t think I’ll be visiting a shop again.

We were staying in the area and a local told us that this was the place to visit. What a great high street Great Harwood has. The shop is great visually and the stock was plentiful. My daughter likes to bake so we bought the cook book along with several items to try. Definitely worth a visit although they also post out if you’re not nearby.

I just don’t get the hype. The cakes are drier than their 1 star hygiene Star rating. We have vistas here on a few occasions and tried different things, the blondes are nice, the brownies aren’t the best and the less said about the cake the better.

Having the shop's website popping up on Facebook we decided to take a trip there for a ride out even though it is 30 miles away from where we live. We were not disappointed. The cakes are marvellous and the staff friendly and helpful. We bought a mixed selection and couldn't resist them so ate one each in the car. Not being greedy, though, we did manage to curb temptation and bring some home. They also sell a selection of pies so we had one of those too. Well worth a visit.

I love this bakery. I’ve tried it all from the cupcake to the celebration cakes. Soft sponge and buttercream to die for. Staff always friendly and welcoming.

Only the second time I’ve purchased cake jars online and the quality has certainly deteriorated,. The cake or crumbs were dry, with a small amount of jam and a scraping of buttercream round the sides of the jar.

I have buy dying to visit the shop for so long but never been close enough, we live over 2 hours away. Once postal boxes came I ordered the brownie and blonde box and two sticky toffee cake jars. I must say the cake jars were dry cake smothered with buttercream and the toffee, it was very underwhelming and for the price I wouldn’t order again. I normally love brownies but preferred the blondies, my kids love when I do brownies but one tryed one and didn’t like them or eat anymore. They were ok but I was expecting more from all the hype. I did order a selection box one that had one of all flavours that was good to try the different ones but I probably wouldn’t order again.

I ordered postal brownies and I messed up the delivery address (wrong post code!). Despite it being my error Molly was so helpful, and went out of her way to ensure that my Dad got his birthday brownies, thankyou so much Finch Bakery! He tells me that they were amazing! Wonderful customer service and fabulous brownies. 100% recommend and will definitely use again.

I had to cancel an order for my graduation next week due to change of plans and unable to collect a cake, so Lauren very kindly gifted my £20 deposit as a voucher for an online order. That alone is worth 5* as I don’t know of any other business who would. Can’t wait to order for the special occasion!! ♥️

Ordered from Finch Bakery’s website for an early birthday treat for myself. Ordered the mixed brownie and blondie box (nut free). Arrived next day, so super speedy delivery. Such amazing value for money at only £15.50 for 12 different slices. Will 100% be ordering again, would recommend to anyone as a treat to yourself or others! :)

Too much choice. Super staff and a big thank you to the Finch ladies who came out into the shop and had a photo with my grandaughters visiting from Stoke, one of who is baking their way through the book. Lots of goodies going home with them

I’ve always been obsessed with Finch Bakery from the moment I took a bite of a Cherry B cupcake yeeeears ago, soooo tasty. However I then decided to go Vegan, which meant I could no longer eat Finch B….. until now…..! The VEGAN treat box is amazing!! There is absolutely no excuse for anyone because the brownies are still fantastic, absolutely no taste or texture lost. Highly impressed. It is the vegan lotus biscoff rocky road though that now has my heart… oh my goodness AMAZING! Thanks finch b, please never stop making and aiming high with your vegan goodies! xx

So it’s safe to say since moving locally I go here a lot. In fact .... all the time! Finch reopening was just the best thing ever. It is now a tourist destination in its own right! Every say their cakes are different. They are so good! The detail that goes into these cakes are absolutely amazing. The taste is incredible and always baked perfectly !! I love how they are all displayed in counters and the interior of the building is so cool! The twins are becoming baking idols in their own right ! Their social media is incredible, they’ve just brought out a book and they are just genuine , honest and down to earth people who love to bake. Girls just keep what you are doing, as you do it so well! Thank you for making me smile every week with my happy trip to the bakery !! I’ll even queue in the rain!!

I've only ever ordered the blondies for delivery - cherry bakewell, lemon curd and apple pie are outstanding! Delivery is always quick and products arrive in good condition and in great packaging. Would love to visit in person one day!

First time ordering the postal brownies - got the classic mix as I couldn’t decide what flavour I wanted. They are amazing! The white chocolate and raspberry blondie is my favourite. So fresh & very well presented. Can’t wait to try more flavours 😍

Its just all sweet sweet sweet, chocolate chocolate chocolate. The girls certainly know how to bake but its just alot of the same stuff. You need something like fruit or savouries to break it up a bit. I found everything was reasonably priced and large portions took me 4 attempts to eat one cookie 🍪

This place is amazing the creations these bakers come up with are second to none. There Harry potters of the bakery world and am never disappointed. I went at the weekend to get some treats for my daughter. I tell you my willpower is strong but if I wasn't on my diet and I was wanting to have pure indulgence. These guys are the best ❤️❤️❤️

I received a gift of Finch Bakery cake slices. They were well packaged, and just right to fit through my letterbox. More importantly they taste exceptional, really good. Overall very good indeed.

Finch bakery has never disappointed! Usually we drive down to the shop but as it’s closed due to covid we have been buying online treats to keep us going through lockdown! I have never had a brownie better than finch bakery’s, and the lotus Biscoff blondies are out of this world!!! Also tried the halal rocky road a few weeks ago and it was phenomenal! Will continue to order online but I can’t wait to visit the new shop! The twin girls who own it are always so lovely and helpful and they deserve all this success!

Finally got round to posting a review about the 'Classic Mix Box'. They tasted fantastic. All the girls recieved a box through the post and everyone enjoyed them. I have since bought some more and just the same, consistently fantastic and freeze well. Great present for someone.

Because o an accident my grand daughter treated me to a pack of your chocolate brownies and these were the best I’ve tasted. Three week after leaving hospital my wife suffered a similar accident and landed in hospital but she had the misfortune of having to go to a halfway house to recuperate, unfortunately she then got Covid so had to isolate which added an extra fortnight recovering . I then thought I would cheer her up an greeted her to a pack which she’s enjoying. The service you give is wonderful and I would definitely use you again..

I've been wanting to try their stuff for sooo long, I placed an order for a box of goodies the other day (which honestly seemed expensive but I thought it'd be worth it) and honestly I was sooo disappointed:( Both the cookies and the cake jar were so so dry and almost stale and the brownies tasted like any old brownie you'd buy at the supermarket, not that fresh homemade brownie taste and definitely not tasty:( Was expecting such big things as they have such a huge following and their cakes look beautiful, but if you're thinking of ordering a postal box id advise against it.. there are so many smaller businesses out there with much better quality and better tasting treats for much cheaper

I'm spoilt that my local cakery is Finch Bakery! Always gorgeous staff serving with a smile and beyond exceptional customer service! When products weren't able to be reserved it was the *only* *minor* thing that I wasn't a fan of (as a local cba waiting for half an hour for the goods-and I do mean THE GOODS). But fair enough given it's based on operational/justified reasons. Their response to Covid plus their commitment and interest in the local community is beautiful. THERE IS STILL A PLACE YOU ARE SERVED WITH A BIG WARM SMILE-IT'S UNDER THEIR MASK AND YOU CAN SEE IT IN THEIR EYES!! And the cake, cookies, brownies and everything they do is OUTSTANDING. No such thing as just cake etc. Honestly, you can taste their passion for their work and love of their staff. If you find 'dry cake' you're either eating it wrong or there is some unique circumstance because Finch doesn't make dry cake. Finch makes addictive, morish, feel good, weigh more bakes - they last for AGES aswel. I've had brownies at least 3 weeks later that were just in my pantry and still amazing. Frozen and thawed-amazing. Fresh, too decadent to inhale but amazing to savour. Great work ladies and any lads involved. The contribution to GH High Street is insane and we don't deserve you but we (at least me for sure lol) are spoilt to have you! I've been following finch bakery on social media for years and decided I needed to give them a try. In october I ordered pumpkin spice cookies and they were HUGE. I had to eat each one in 2/3 sittings! The cream in the middle was so smooth and they tasted incredible. After being thoroughly impressed with the cookies I ordered 2 lotus biscoff cake jars. From watching videos of them being made in the past i anticipated them having too much buttercream and not enough cake but I was wrong! They were perfectly balanced and delicious. This also took me 3 sititngs to finish (and I looove cake!) Both deliveries arrived very quickly. Very happy with my purchases and I'll definitely be ordering again the future

This was my second time ordering after getting brownies before which were quite nice, this time I ordered blondies and cookies and felt really underwhelmed. The cookies tasted of raising agent and left a hot fizzy feeling in the mouth and the blondies were paste like and doughy, if I had bought them in the store I would have taken them back and questioned if they were underbaked.

Picked up cake for Baby Shower. Absolutely stunning. Lovely people at the bakery.

I have followed them from when they got there shop and then went live online, ordered a few times and last night I was naughty and put through an order, realising this morning it was my theory test money I cancelled though felt awful. I was responded to very quickly and very lovely /the best customer service. Delt with soo quickly and warmly. Keep being you huns. X

A friend ordered cake jars as a surprise for me after months of us looking at the pictures on instagram. Cake jars arrived and I was very excited. However the cake was very dry and the buttercream was gritty. I felt really bad as I knew they were expensive! I have never been in the shop so can’t comment on the staff but online they can come across as very rude as well, don’t think we’ll be returning once they reopen.

Ordered some caramel brownies and wow, I could eat the lot of them. The delivery was fast and even better they fit through the letterbox, so no waiting in for the postman. Will be ordering more.

I’ve been following Finch Bakery on Instagram for a while and finally decided to order some Nutella blondies to see what all the hype was about. What a mistake! The blondies arrived and had absolutely no taste at all! They were completely flavourless! My husband hates Nutella so I asked him to try one without him knowing the flavour and he guessed banana?! He had absolutely no idea that they were supposed to be Nutella flavour and was really shocked when I told him what flavour they were! Way overpriced and way overhyped!!

Like a lot of people on here, I have followed this bakery on instagram for years and they have developed a somewhat cult following. In hindsight, this should have been the first red flag. Received some blondies as a surprise gift from a friend and I have to say they were tasteless, far too sweet, dry and tasted of cheap butter? As a home baker myself these tasted like every ingredient used to make them was cheap for the sake of profit margins. Perhaps these guys could work on taste and actually invest in quality ingredients.

Absolutely the best brownies available, and I am prepared to fight anyone who says otherwise my faves are double choc and choc orange. I’m also slowly making my way through their cake jars and every one so far has been amazing! There’s a reason they sell out so fast. Also a shout out to their great customer service - my most recent jar order was lost in the post (albeit it turned up eventually) and their response and dealing with this was great. If you want to support an independent business and if you love cake then this is a no brainer!

I’ve always wanted to visit finch bakery but it’s too far haha! So was very excited to order and try from the online shop. I would highly recommend the orange and caramel brownies!! Just ordered a box of brownies for my Nan. I ordered the raspberry & white chocolate on Monday they were dispatched Tuesday and arrived next day Wednesday (today)! Great service! Wow. My absolute go to for a sweet treat!! From brownies, to blondies to cake jars.. I’ve tried them all and they are INSANE! Taste and quality is absolutely amazing! Also such good value for the price!!! Great packaging and super quick delivery for online orders. I would recommend over and over.. and I will purchase over and over. The most incredible brownies I have ever tasted my boxes never last more than two days because I scoff them.. call me greedy or just try them for yourself and you won’t regret it.PS.. We ordered double choc after umming and ahhing about spending £15 on brownies. We were not disappointed. They are amazing, not something you can easily replicate at home and we’re the perfect goo vs baked consistency. Packaging and the whole experience was amazing. Would recommend through and through!

In the past I have tried a friend's cake jars, I wasn't impressed. But for some reason would follow them on all the socials and still really want to try for myself. A number of times iv put blondies in my basket and then not orded not wanting to pay £15 on blondies. Then I finally did it and orded a box of Nutella. How I wished and listened to my gut. The blondies arrived quick and were moist. But they tasted of nothingness... Literally no taste at all doesn't taste of Nutella at all.. I don't know how it doesn't taste of any thing but it doesn't. All family have tried and agreed they are a bit naff. I guess iv learnt my lesson to not give in to the social media hype

*FB Online Review* ~ I’d always wanted to visit Finch Bakery, it’s not local but we were up for the drive. Having still not made it, I was thrilled when I discovered the delivery service as I’ve had a few other cake/brownie deliveries by post.. those however weren’t always successful! I ordered Jammie Brownies, the website is easy to use, on mobile or desktop, and you get clear communication and alerts about your order. Brownies arrived 2 days later and I can’t stress enough how beautifully and securely they were packaged. Way exceeding previous baked deliveries! The brownies are fresh and utterly magical. I’ve had to freeze some to stop us eating the entire box in one go. That’s literally the only issue. I’ve since sent two boxes to friends so they can share the joy! Thanks FB Huns, you’re amazing 🍓

I’ve visited the shop a few times and always make sure I get a chocolate jar, they are delicious- once you start you can’t stop eating! Can’t believe I’m actually writing a bad review but the postal ones were so disappointing.. the cake was extremely dry, the chocolate sauce inside the jar tasted really cheap (didn’t taste like it normally does) and it was far too sickly!! The lemon one would have been perfect if it wasn’t for the dry cake, and the candy floss one was again dry and very sickly. I had one mouthful and couldn’t eat anymore- was not edible without a drink!!The delivery was very quick, however the quality of the jars was not good at all, with what they cost you would expect a lot better quality.

Have been a long term Instagram follower of FB, loved them and was even determined that I was ordering my 30th birthday cake from them! Then I tried the cake, really some of the worst cake I’ve ever tasted. I tried for 3 weeks to order cake jars online every night and finally got some last Wednesday they didn’t arrive until today (Tuesday) they were so dry and the buttercream just tasted gritty like caster sugar, it was supposed to be a kinder style jar but honestly it had no flavour. Gutted to have to leave such a poor review but it was such a let down and for the cost of £15 including pp I’m just really disappointed. Expect they get a lot of 1 time orders with their obviously great marketing but very few repeat business

Order the lotus biscoff and caramel cake jar online on Monday night and received on Wednesday. The cake jar is something else, the icing inside is really delicious and the caramel is addictive!! Honestly the best cake that I’ve had in a long time. After trying the cake jar I can fully understand why people queue up and down the street for their cakes /bakes.

I ordered double chocolate brownies and lotus blondies offline. They were delish. I also ordered a vanilla and jam cake jar. Bit disappointing to be honest. Been coming to Finch Bakery for a few years for the gorgeous brownies, cake jars and cupcakes Each time I’ve been there’s been a variety of different flavours ( but to get the best choice, try visiting on Tuesday-Thursday, if you are visiting on a weekend get there early if you can as there’s often queues from its popularity.) I live around 40 minutes away but always worth the journey! If you live further afield their postal brownies/blondies are also amazing and can’t wait to get my hands on a postal cake jar when they’re up and running again In December I got my birthday cake from Finch Bakery and it was amazing! Everyone loved it! Tasted just as good as it looked ! Definitely worth a visit :)

After following finch bakery on Instagram for years and desperate to visit, we finally made the 300 mile round trip! It absolutely did not disappoint. As soon as you walk in the shop you’re hit with a gorgeous smell of cake! they have so many different interesting flavours and despite the queues being long, we got served very quickly! Their blondies are to die for, and cupcakes are lush and very good value for money. I didn’t buy their jars however they looked fantastic. Shop girls are all really lovely :) thank you FB!

Good cakes, well worth the trip.... Only downside is I buy then eat too much 🤣

This is my first visit to this bakery and was excited to try their cupcakes.. however, the cupcakes were too sweet and the cream also too sweet. So disappointed!!

Don't want to publicize to much because it's hard enough to get in as it is.🤗

Loads of different flavours of cupcakes. Fresh and moist like they should be. Brownies are good but not as good as the cupcakes...
