I recently popped into Filton Kebab Pizza House, craving a solid chicken burger. I’d seen some decent reviews and figured I'd give it a shot, hoping for a juicy, crispy chicken breast in a soft bun. Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t quite what I’d hoped for. To start with, the chicken itself was a bit of a letdown. Instead of a proper chicken breast, I got a processed chicken patty, which felt kind of rubbery when I bit into it. Definitely not the tender bite you’d expect or want from a chicken burger. It had that unmistakable texture that only comes with overly processed meat—not very appetizing. The bun didn't help matters either. It was stale, which was a real shame. It seemed like it might have been sitting out for a while, possibly exposed to open air, then grilled in an attempt to cover up the fact. Unfortunately, grilling it didn’t revive it much, so I was left with a pretty dry, tough bun. To their credit, they did add a generous helping of mayo, which was a blessing, as it helped mask some of the dryness. But let’s be honest, a good burger shouldn’t need that much mayo just to be edible. On the upside, the place itself was actually quite nice. The takeaway looked clean and well-maintained, which is always a good sign. They even have a 5/5 hygiene rating, which shows they take cleanliness seriously. And the service was good, too—the burger came out pretty fast, and the staff seemed friendly and efficient. Overall, while I appreciated the quick service and the cleanliness, the food was lacking in quality. The burger needs a serious upgrade—starting with a proper chicken breast and fresher buns would be a huge improvement. I don’t know if I’d rush back for the food anytime soon, but with a few changes, Filton Kebab Pizza House could definitely be a spot worth returning to.

the mayo donor kebab smells & tastes like fresh blood and has a horrible stench. Previously ordered in January and had this issue but thought I’d give it another try but unfortunately had to put it in the bin

I ordered for the first time from here today, the food was absolutely amazing everything was on point an also I asked the guys if I can have all my salad an sauces separately an they did it exactly how I asked even though they don’t usually do that, really appreciate the brilliant service an amazing food guys will be ordering from here again 👍🏽😄

Absolutely rude I called three times and they kept saying they can’t hear me and then I called again I asked if they could hear me they replied no rudely . They clearly don’t want to listen to me on the phone absolutely rude was gonna buy 50£ worth of food disappointed in the staff there.

The mixed kebab meat and fries was unexpectedly better than I thought it would be. The in-house chilli is quite nice. The Donner meat is average but the chicken meat is quite above average in my estimation. It's a decent portion size for 8.99 and I'll likely come back here. You can get free salad too.

Probably reviewed this place once already but honestly, 10/10. I’ve only ever had 1 order be wrong in anyway/not too great. This place is legit my main go to whenever I think about ordering food. Highly recommend!

Lamb shish and donner is best kebab in Bristol! Great value and portion size. Great taste with quality ingredients and well cooked and presented. Ordered simply and delivered quickly. Only criticism is the additional of parsley on the salad onion's but only because I don't like it.

I have been a regular customer for 3 years and I have never been disappointed. The food is tasty, large portions and most importantly fresh. Delivery always on time or even ahead of time. I can honestly recommend this place 🙂

always normally really good, but not this time, ordered 2 kebabs arrived on time as we were just tucking in one of us found a hair in the kebab and the other lamb donner kebab meat was full of grizzle and hard bits which made it unedible, ended up in the bin

Got some cheese and tomato pizza instead of margarita and cannot find olives in vegetarian pizza. Despite that taste good enough to half of it disappeared during shooting picture.

Food was great, unfortunately staff didn't listen as I was given the wrong thing.

Staff are disgusting. Everyone knows them to be dangerous drivers and they often park on double yellows which causes accidents as it blocks the view of the main road. They are rude and confrontational. Today I witnessed one of their staff walk out of the shop, go onto my road and begin screaming at one of my neighbors who had confronted him about his dangerous parking. No one from this street or anyone we know will be coming until their staff are sorted out.

Ordered kebabs last night it too nearly 2 hours to come called 3 times to see what was happening only to be told the order was on its way joke I could of walked there and back twice. When it finally arrived the lamb was not thinly sliced more like cut with a spoon asked for no sauce it was smothered. It was all cold and to top it off the chicken shish was raw. Worst kebabs and the service ever

Great food whether it's a pizza, kebabs or burgers, great staff who reward loyal and local customers and great service. The homemade garlic mayo dip for the pizzas are delightful! Your local chippy rarely lets you down.

Useless. Ordered kebab with chilli sauce and EXTRA chilli sauce - received NO sauce and a kebab drier than the Sahara. Ordered a hummus pitta - received no hummus!! Soggy week old chips. Literally the worst takeaway you can buy in Bristol, unbelievable.

Tried these twice when getting a kebab and the taste is really poor, you can tell the quality isnt very good. I gave then another chance recently since my favourite place was closed and got a pizza instead, same issue, terrible taste and quality, the dough just tasted weird. The staff are nice guys, but they need to get better quality foods. I won't eat there again unfortunately.

I ordered a mixed kebab, unfortunately it turned out only with lamb, but it was delivered completely cold and dry, I suspect that the meat was not of the best quality. I feel very disappointed because it is not the first time. I do not recommend to anyone.

Pretty decent pizza, dough could use some work but the filton special is defo one to try out. Seems to be the only cheese that hasn't absolutely wrecked my lactose intolerant gut too. It arrived cold, but there are instructions on the box on how to reheat!

The food is good and at very reasonable price

Portion sizes on the small side. Not offered salt and vinegar for my chips. Depsite being illegal since Jan 2018 this place will add 50p per card transaction and not tell you in the hope you don't notice. If they break this law, what other laws, (possibly food hygine laws) do they think not apply to them?

Recently discovered this place and it's great. I highly recommend their cheesy chips always nice and crispy. Also the cheesy garlic bread so good!

Ordered 3 pizzas on just eat, 45 minutes later they delivered 2 and I was told the 3rd one would be delivered the next day, as they'd finished for the night. Eventually managed to talk them into refunding me for 1 pizza, But we were left hungry. Next time a phone call would be nice, as we could have gone else where to make sure all pizzas are delivered on the same day.

THE WORST KEBAB IN MY LIFE I was waiting 30 minutes for a Kebab, kebab Was really smelly, the meat was burned and dry. I asked for a chilli hot sauce and I got some brown really smelly sauce. I can't even eat this it's so bad. Onion rings for 2,20 are just straight from the packaging and they don't have any piece of onion. Just lost My 7,50 and everything is going straight to the bin.

Absolutely awful service. Sent the wrong pizza, by this time it was 9pm. Said that they couldn't get another one out for another 50mins. Very unhelpful on the phone, didn't care and argued about the order. The customer service has ruined this place. I will never use them again!

Excellent pizza, it tastes lean and not greasy-I will not be using dominoes or pizza hut any time soon. The toppings could be more varied but knocking off a star would be too harsh.

Pizza was average but not the best, other restaurants provide better quality pizza. The portion sizes are also very small, a medium kebab is like a childs portion. Although the delivery is quick, which is good if you would like crap food quickly.

Quite possibly the best pizza on the planet. Don't be tempted by the likes of Domino's; their uninspired bread circles rapidly cool rock solid, while Piccante's remain fresh and delicious even when chilled.

Long time, repeat customer. Best Chicken Donner and Chips in a 15 mile radius.
