We go to Filippelli's every month with a group of friends. Their pancakes are the best. Always friendly and inviting. Food is excellent.

Cash only, which was a bit of a surprise these days, but what a brilliant place for breakfast! The most pleasing breakfast I've had for ages. Straightforward, quality stuff. Lovely.

Lovely friendly little gem! We’ve been here a few times and the food is always delicious. Had a catch up with some friends today for breakfast. The lady that served us was friendly and attentative. Breakfast was amazing as always. 10/10.

I heard good things about this place and have to admit my experience was amazing. We walked in with our 10 month old baby and was nicely greeted by the staff. We placed our order and after asking about the kids menu, there was nothing she could really try so I asked for a side plate to put some of my sausage and beans in and instead they cooked and cut up some sausage with a side of beans instead for her. She loved the food and so did we. The coffee and tea was amazing and come with free refills. When I went to pay they refused to let me pay for the extra sausage and beans so instead I bought two pieces of their rocky road (also tasty) and left them tip. We will 100% be back again and again. One of the nicest, fresh made breakfasts we've had for a long while and even nicer staff.

Booked a table but when arrived, stated forgot to put reserved on table, also told another person before us had said had a table, so given to her, did not take my name when I booked so I did have doubts. Nice food, lovely chips good price. Will return some point.

Went because of an article in the newspaper. And the breakfast was not a disappointment. Beautiful breakfast food and a terrific selection of drinks too.

The staff here have always greeted us with a warm smile. The range of food here is great. Tasty breakfast to filling lunches and sweet treats available. Recommend booking if you deffo want to go here as it gets full quickly as they have a large base of regular customers. Gluten free and vegetarian options available.

Absolutely great for money, large portions of meals, very polite and friendly staff, very accommodating, Lovely atmosphere, close to the town centre, definitely recommend quiche salad, sandwiches with fries and salad, belly buster..(2sausages, tomatoes, beans, 2 egg 4 slices of bacon 2 hash browns, 1 slice of fried bread 2 slices of toast plus butter, mushrooms, plus choice of sauce ).. Eggs Benedict, basically everything on the menu look amazing and very delicious..plus they have a specials board, huge beverages menu tooI would recommended a visit..

I had a ham and cheese toasties with crisps/potato chips with side salad and a mug of Tea. The meal was delicious and the service was excellent very friendly staff.

I came across Filippelli's after another restaurant was full, and what a great bit of luck that turned out to be. One enters into what appears to be "thrown together" decor, which greatly adds to the charm of this small, cosy bistro. As soon as we sat down we were offered drinks, and chose very smooth, and large lattés. We both chose breakfasts from the very extensive menu and I'm afraid to say that we couldn't eat everything on the plate, but that is because of the amounts rather than the quality. It was absolutely superb. There is a very laid back atmosphere in Filippelli's and the ambience is that of a small village café, where everyone knows everyone else. Finally to cap our experience, the owner came and sat with us and chatted for 5 minutes. It really is an excellent place. We'll definitely be back.

Went with friends for breakfast. Ordered a variety of breakfast items. Food was delicious, hot and cooked fresh. Very tasty, good choice of food and drinks. Highly recommend

Popped in for a brew. Left feeling full. Atmosphere very welcoming. Couldn't do enough for us. Went in again before heading home. Definitely be going back but this time with the husband!

Had breakfast on Christmas Eve. Made a booking via Facebook...venue was more than happy to respond All staff were very attentive, always asking if we were ok and if more water for tea was needed etc. The offer of festive treats after our meal was always very much appreciated...even if too full to even consider!! Opted for the £9.99 standard breakfast with refill of tea or coffee - fantastic value. Very well presented, warm and very tasty - the offer to swap any of the items was also very much appreciated. Good quality sausage used and hash browns were great - would have liked scrambled eggs but I'm sure I would have been able to have this if I would have asked. Good atmosphere all customers seemed to be enjoying themselves and the hospitality offered. Would definitely recommend. Thank you very much Filippellis

Small and cosy with Italian feel. Owner is chatty and nice and will always do best to oblige. The food is freshly cooked and mainly home made. As they train jobseekers the service at table can be a bit hit and miss but and done with a smile.

The food is good home made fare. The breakfast gives you a good start to the day and it is excellent value for money. There are a range of options at lunchtime all homemade and filling. The staff are helpful and Silvia is friendly and welcoming.

Only small but the food is great the service is brilliant nothing is too much trouble try this place you will never go anywhere else

Filippelli's is a must visit in Chesterfield. Extremely warm atmosphere and the lady can't do enough for you. Fantastic cup of tea and the food looks amazing.

Wow. Best chips ever. Staff and owner lovely. My Granddaughter loved your chocolate orange hot chocolate especially the extra pieces of chocolate orange you gave her when the ones in it sank. She equally loved scooping up the melted chocolate at the bottom. Scrumptious. We definately be back xx

Silvia and her team are amazing. The prices are great but the foods even better! Totally worth the price. They are so well mannered and have the best customer service i have encountered at a cafe before. I will be coming here alot more often with my mum. Outstanging service. If ever there was an issue i know they would sort it straight away without no nasty manners! Amazing staff keep up the good work!
