Great friendly staff, clean pub and friendly atmosphere.

The staff are always lovely and happy to make off menu drinks when asked. I go once a month for a book club meeting, and the staff are always happy to turn the music down in the area we are sat so we can discuss books. There is a great atmosphere 100% reccomend.

The best cocktail bar in Chesterfield with an ever evolving menu so there's always something new to try (or you can just stick to your favourites!) My current favourite is toffee apple (as you can see from my pictures!)

This was our first time at chandlers and we will definitely be going back. Great staff, the most amazing drinks and a lovely atmosphere. There are so many cocktails to choose from - Bakewell pud, Singapore sling and rum punch were my favourites. My partner said the espresso martini was the best he has had. I asked Louise (the most lovely cocktail maker ever) if she could make me a Mai Tai as it wasn’t on the menu and she did not disappoint - she made it the traditional way and it’s one of the best I’ve had. We already cannot wait to return

Me and some friends came here for some cocktails last night and they did not disappoint! We asked for some alterations with the cocktails and the staff were more than happy to accommodate. The frozen cocktails were made into a desert rather than blended and tasted perfect. The price is cheaper than Wetherspoons now! The decor is classy and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place for cocktails. Thank you to the staff for being so amazing, makes the night so much more enjoyable 😊

Awesome experience, the knowledge of the staff is outstanding. So friendly and welcoming. I had a custom made old fashioned made specifically to my tastes, absolutely delicious.

Abbey was serving us and boy oh boy,she's an expert! Cocktails were superb and her skills were incredible! She also described and advised us on drinks we were looking for,THANK YOU! GOVE HER A PAY RISE!!! 😅

Fabulous place, best bar in Chesterfield by far!! Lou and the team always greet you with a smile and the atmosphere is always great. Love it so much we even had our wedding reception there!

Lovely friendly pub we were lucky enough to attend during the weekly pub quiz taking place. Locals friendly and in good spirits although questions in quiz quite stretching mentally but good fun . Waitress service and the wife decided to attack the cocktail menue .OK I'm skint now . Worth every penny for a fun super night

We popped in for a pint, ended up having 3 cocktails each (~£6-9 each) - spoilt for choice and they've all been delicious. Great staff who are friendly and know what they're doing - we'll definitely be back.

Comfortable vintage theme bar. Friendly staff, good music, (not too loud so you can still chat), decent pint, well recommended.

Friendly place and nothing too much trouble, I mean if you want a cocktail ,🍸 making the bar staff will make a good one, I so recommend the Bakewell Bubbles, it wasn't on the menu but we had one made by the person behind the bar, above and beyond service, thankyou

Chandlers is a great place for a night out. Staff are helpful and friendly and they KNOW their cocktails. Nothing's too much bother. You can tell them what you like drinking and they will make something up. Love Chandlers. Have been many times and will continue to do so.

Excellently organised. Love Chandlers cocktails and nothing is too much trouble. You can have anything you like. And making them is such fun! Excellent venue and atmosphere.

Absolutely love this bar! The drink selection is wonderful, the quality of the drinks is superb, the staff are so so friendly and knowledgeable and professional. The place has a really welcoming and happy vibe. They will always offer vegan options for cocktails and take care good care about your quality of their drinks and products. They do a fantastic geek quiz on a Wednesday evening, so much fun. They often run charity events as well for the local hospice. I would highly recommend this bar for Drinks for any occasion and you can hire the venue on Sundays.

Worst pint in Cheterfield. Was so watered down it was like tonic water.

Good quality items sales every thing from rew dog food to petbeds and other pet items they have everything you need 😀 Very good place to go to.

One of my favourite bars in Chesterfield and discovered last night it's dog friendly! Our dog was given a bowl of water straight away and he loved all the fuss from staff and customers!

We called into this cocktail bar after dinner on a Monday night. It is a nicely decorated bar with a good atmosphere and made a lively and pleasant end to the evening.

It's impossible to not say this is by far the best cocktail bar I've been to, either in or out the UK. The staff are very friendly and professional, always happy to adapt your drink to how you want it or even make you something unique around what you like. The manager there has so much knowledge and experience I think she's just ate cocktail books during her teen years ☺️

Great décor, funky spirit bottle lights on the walls and comfortable, 'sink into' sofas. We enjoyed a delicious vegan meal courtesy of Pizza Pi who have temporarily located themselves here until they move into their new premises. All the staff we encountered were pleasant and friendly, especially Abby who was so bubbly, attentive and enthusiastic.

Good cocktails and friendly staff. Toilets could do with cleaning a little more often but that's hardly new with any night time venue. Would definitely go back.

Great atmosphere and good drinks can be pricey

From the start of book to the end of the session - brilliant! The person arranging the event (Louise) had excellent communication and helped with making the night focussed on the bride by decorating an area for us. The woman leading the cocktail making session was amazing, fun, patient and bubbly. She gave great advice on cocktails to meet your required taste. I would recommend the ‘super sour bitch’ cocktail. A friend is pregnant and they even had a milkshake cocktail to help her making to meet her pregnancy craving for milkshake. Overall the night was amazing and would definitely go to Chandlers again to make cocktails, have a casual drink or have food. Thanks to these two the girls had fun.

Fantastic find. Chandlers collaboration with a nearby Pizza restaurant is awesome. Really great food, coupled with Chandlers’ great service and cocktails. Rebecca looked after our family and she was simply amazing. Thoroughly recommend this place.

A very good bar with good old fashioned service.

No complaints about the food however, service was very slow, we arrived at 7pm and finally left at 10pm. No fresh glasses meant no water for quite a long time. Not sure if staffing was the problem.

I enjoyed a few cocktails with friends. Good variety of cocktails and other beverages. Prices were a little high for me, and it was extremely busy but I had an overall nice time. I'd definitely visit again. The rhubarb and custard cocktail was TO DIE FOR! Recommended - give it a try.

TREMENDOUS. Just don't go in on Wednesday without booking because that is quiz night. The staff are fully willing to take abstract prompts.

Fantastic cocktails. We sat at a table where a lovely girl served and advised on which cocktails to order. They were all lovely and the place is very pleasant to sit and chat in with good music that wasn’t too loud which is great when your chatting

Not really one for drinking cocktails but here they were amazing, especially the strong island tea and the Bakewell bubbles, staff really friendly. The outside area is so nice and relaxing, will definitely visit again when in Chesterfield

Came in with friends a couple weeks ago, and it was my first 'outing' since restrictions eased and all i can say is wow. The decor is quirky and amazing, the staff were very friendly and professional. Best part was the selection of drinks - especially the cocktail list. Unfortunately i was driving on this occasion but the selection of 'mocktail' drinks was just as good. Will definitely be back, especially to try some of the cocktails.

A fantastic bar I've been enjoying for many years. The atmosphere and selection of drinks never fails!!! I can't wait for it to open again after lockdown. Certainly a local gem of a bar!! Well done team, you should be proud!

Fantastic venue, food, cocktails and staff.

I went here on a Wednesday night when they had a charity audition it was well put together and some great items up for grabs the staff altho busy were polite and fast in serving the prices were reasonable a great night out to be had I'd recommend checking them out

Great selection of cocktails, but my enjoyment was largely detracted by the overpowering smell of the pi$$ cakes from the latrines. Get the drains sorted.

Was there for a private function. So not sure how the place would differ on a regular night. Saying that the staff were great and friendly. The woman in charge of the food was able to advise me on allergies and what I could eat from the buffet.

Re-visited on a Monday night after 13 years away from Chesterfield. The place hasn't changed much but still looks good and had a friendly laid back atmosphere. The cocktail menu is extensive and well priced, and the cocktails were as just as good as I remember. They also have a couple of cask beers and other tap beers.

All of the beautiful people residing in Chesvegas are there. And also me. Sorry about that.

Nice cosy chilled out pub to nip into for a beer or 2, went here for the first time on a Saturday after a show at the winding wheel , pub was busy enough but plenty places to stand or sit, staff were nice, service was good, nice pint of Peronni , the choice of songs, music was good & some of the décor was quirky, good mix of people inside & generally chilled out,

Been here 2 times now and they never fail to impress they have great selection of drinks some that are frozen kinda like ice cream and they sometimes have special drinks like the black forest hot chocolate absolutely delicious

Got some great selection of drinks I love it had a mississipi mudslide which is amazing and the Turkish delight which was a delight definitely coming here more often

Best Bar in Chesterfield, always serve the best cocktails made to perfection. The staff are always friendly and helpful, even when asking for cocktails that are not on the cocktail lists.This is the first bar i go to when i go out. This is a must visit if you live in the Chesterfield Area.
