Chrissy is an absolute asset to the Fieldfare nothing is too much trouble. Chrissy is wonderful with children aswell as adults. The outside playground and inside space for children makes it a very family relaxed feel. Thank you we will be back.

I took my family here for Mother's Day and the service was excellent. The food was great quality and the staff are so friendly.

An impromptu visit by me and my daughter, it was Saturday evening around 7ish, so we expected to have to wait, but, no we didn't, the staff were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, food was really very nice, and they were hosting a Harry Potter quiz, all in all, very pleasant

Friday night at the Fieldfare. Tasty food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. Dylan and crew are all lovely, and provide a environment where you can relax and be yourself.

Came as a family of 6. We were promptly greeted by the team and shown a seat. Food was hot and tasty and came out in a timely manner. Chrissy was very attentive, polite and welcoming. We will be back. Thank you ☺️

Lovely place for a quiet meal. Quite spacious which helps when we bring our Labrador along too. Bar staff very attentive and welcoming, Dillon in particular was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fieldfare, and it was such a lovely experience! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual night out or a special occasion. Had a family meal here on 15th March. We all really enjoyed it. They staff were great and attentive and couldn't do enough for us. We dont get out a lot as a big family altogether so we all really enjoyed a family meal out with good food to celebrate a special birthday. Thanks Dylan, Brian, Luke and Chrissy. I'm sure we will be back

So glad we revisited one of our old favorite destinations since moving to Chorley 12 years ago. We popped in about 2pm and were greeted by the friendly young person called Luke behind the bar. We ordered the carvery for our Sunday lunch and chose a bottle of Chenin blanc. I went for the turkey and my partner chose the beef & gammon...both of us were delighted with the quality and taste of the meat, yorkies and vegs. The gravy was also delicious! We will definitely be back. We noticed the name of the chef for today on the board by the carvery was called Darren.. so thank you very much for today, we shall see you soon. Corinne and Rod.

Had a meal today with my family as a nice get together, food was brilliant and so was the service. The all-day breakfast was one of the best i’ve had in a long time highly recommend, big thank you to Max for being an amazing waiter and thanks to the rest of the staff.

Came for a meal on Friday with family and it didn’t disappoint. Great service, nice food piping hot and very quick. Had the chicken katsu burger and much enjoyed. Pub is well kept and has a darts board and pool table, shout out to Bria who my wife thought was extremely kind and attentive, well come again!

Party of five, all ordered different meals, all food came piping hot and more or less together making our dining experience nice. We all enjoyed our food and our drinks. The staff are very hospitable and polite and make sure our time there is enjoyable. Thankyou guys 👌👌👌

We got sat next to the play area, it we did come with a one year old so I get it- it the older kids were so loud. I’d rather have had their grownups supervise them as nobody was there to watch them- I ended up babysitting everyone lol. Food was glorious! Really recommend the pulled pork fries, but share between 2 or more because they’re richhhh

The food options are a good variety along with the drink selection, the quality of the food is bog standard as you expect with a chain pub, prices are reasonable though. One of the staff members “chrissy” was fantastic, great with the kids aswell. Thanks

Had the carvery here last Sunday..food was amazing and the service from the staff was even better. We will return next time we're in the Chorley area

Came for meal tonight . 15 February 2025. The carvery was really bad. The meat was dry and the veg was frozen. I got the impression that it had been sat there since lunch time. We arrived at approximately 5pm. I wouldn’t have payed £4 for this it was so bad. I asked a server if it had been sat there since lunch time and he said he had only just come to work and didn’t know. I won’t be coming again!

Came for dinner with the girl last night and it was lovely. Worried about coming out on Valentines but wasn’t too busy with nice atmosphere. Got the ultimate southern fried burger and it was beautiful. Great service from Bria, hoping to come back in future for quiz!

Three for lunch. Quiet place, nice and attentive staff and, as a club/pub owner ourselves, maybe would benefit from some worthwhile customer service training. The reason I say this is starter's were delivered but not with cutlery which obviously should have been delivered to the table first. Otherwise, an enjoyable experience. Atmosphere was okay but not very busy maybe because it was a weekend. Reasonably good value for money.

Came in for drinks and some food on Friday evening. They had a quiz night on which we enjoyed. We were looked after by the lovely Anya who made us feel welcome :)

Harry, Chrissy and Dylan are wonderful members of staff. Made sure we was well catered for, always service with a smile and always checking on us to make sure our food was okay, which ofcourse it was, it was fantastic as always. Great prices and definitely a great value for money.

We have been to the Fieldfare a few times and Callum has served our drinks and food. He is always very friendly, polite and helpful. Callum is a real asset to The Fieldfare. The food was delicious which was prepared by Aaron.

Had day release from long hospital stay , still had cannula in my hand , which everyone in Tesco gawked at 😀 Walked into field fare and hobbled to bar on crutches, staff never blinked an eye , carried our drinks to a suitable easy to access table , took order on a tab so I didn’t have to keep struggling to bar !! Food was quick hot and tasty , bria and Liam were always close on hand to make my meal a pleasure ,, well done you too youngsters!!

Used to serve decent pub grub but no longer. Ultimate chicken burger was awful. The salty, greasy gravy that came with it was inedible I think they must have forgot to put any cheese in the mac and cheese. Not worth the money and we won't be back.

My mum, brother and I visited Fieldfare Restaurant, Chorley, on Sunday 8th December 2024, for our tea. I'd booked our table online previously, and we arrived on time, at 1830. We had plenty of parking. We were greeted by a very welcoming gentleman. He was very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. I didn't know they had a carvery. I asked if we were being a nuisance ordering a carvery, on the understanding they maybe ready to tidy away after a long day. It was pleasantly explained to us that we were welcome to have a carvery meal up until 21.30. We had a carvery and then a sweet. We were able to have a tab and we paid at the end. Our carvery was excellent, piping hot with plenty of vegetables, potatoes, roasties, Yorkshire pudding, gravy, sauces, etc, to choose from. We ate in a nice environment, with lovely Christmas decorations erected. We all enjoyed our hot meal and a lovely desert, which didn't break the bank. We were served by pleasant, polite, well mannered staff who were all well presented. We didn't know Fieldfare had a carvery. It was a nice surprise, all piping hot and tasty. We all enjoyed our visit to Fieldfare and thank you to staff for their hard work, enthusiasm and effort. We would all be happy to recommend Fieldfare to anyone who wanted to have a nice meal out, in pleasant surroundings, served by great staff. Thank you, Ian Woods.

We had the Christmas meal, it was amazing. Food was well cooked and tasty, there was a good vegetarian selection. The service was excellent. Matt, Chrissy and Callum were very attentive. Would highly recommend, we will be back again.

My family and I popped in last week for dinner on the way home, and it was beautiful! I’m vegetarian and had the thai veggie curry which was beautifully seasoned. Pub was decorated for christmas and very warm and cosy. Served by a wonderful girl Bria, looked after us well, will be back!
