We had a nice evening made better by excellent service from Chrissy, Gerri and Darren. Chrissy especially whilst juggling and spinning many plates displayed fantastic customer service, always attentive and very helpful. 👏👏👏

Tbh the salad is one of the better ones within the Chorley area, and consistently so. Very healthy and fresh. Thank you Darren, Chrissy and Gerri

We had the carvery and it was all okay apart from the gravy which was to watery.

Came in for drinks and some food on Friday evening. They had a quiz night on which we enjoyed. We were looked after by the lovely Anya who made us feel welcome :)

Had a lovely night at The Fieldfare....first had food which was really well presented and very tasty, and finished with a few drinks drinks whilst playing pool. Staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be visiting again...thanks Chrissy and Co. 😁

We have been to the Fieldfare a few times and Callum has served our drinks and food. He is always very friendly, polite and helpful. Callum is a real asset to The Fieldfare. The food was delicious which was prepared by Aaron.

I had a wonderful time at fieldfare and also great service at fieldfare from the waiters Max, Bria and Dylan.

Harry, Chrissy and Dylan are wonderful members of staff. Made sure we was well catered for, always service with a smile and always checking on us to make sure our food was okay, which ofcourse it was, it was fantastic as always. Great prices and definitely a great value for money.

Fast service, lovely staff will be back

Had day release from long hospital stay , still had cannula in my hand , which everyone in Tesco gawked at 😀 Walked into field fare and hobbled to bar on crutches, staff never blinked an eye , carried our drinks to a suitable easy to access table , took order on a tab so I didn’t have to keep struggling to bar !! Food was quick hot and tasty , bria and Liam were always close on hand to make my meal a pleasure ,, well done you too youngsters!!

Booked for Christmas day on second sitting at 3pm, service was prompt and attentive throughout, with meals arriving and drinks requests being served, food was excellent and great value, Darren and his team did us proud. Thanks Guys

Used to serve decent pub grub but no longer. Ultimate chicken burger was awful. The salty, greasy gravy that came with it was inedible I think they must have forgot to put any cheese in the mac and cheese. Not worth the money and we won't be back.

My mum, brother and I visited Fieldfare Restaurant, Chorley, on Sunday 8th December 2024, for our tea. I'd booked our table online previously, and we arrived on time, at 1830. We had plenty of parking. We were greeted by a very welcoming gentleman. He was very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. I didn't know they had a carvery. I asked if we were being a nuisance ordering a carvery, on the understanding they maybe ready to tidy away after a long day. It was pleasantly explained to us that we were welcome to have a carvery meal up until 21.30. We had a carvery and then a sweet. We were able to have a tab and we paid at the end. Our carvery was excellent, piping hot with plenty of vegetables, potatoes, roasties, Yorkshire pudding, gravy, sauces, etc, to choose from. We ate in a nice environment, with lovely Christmas decorations erected. We all enjoyed our hot meal and a lovely desert, which didn't break the bank. We were served by pleasant, polite, well mannered staff who were all well presented. We didn't know Fieldfare had a carvery. It was a nice surprise, all piping hot and tasty. We all enjoyed our visit to Fieldfare and thank you to staff for their hard work, enthusiasm and effort. We would all be happy to recommend Fieldfare to anyone who wanted to have a nice meal out, in pleasant surroundings, served by great staff. Thank you, Ian Woods.

My family and I popped in last week for dinner on the way home, and it was beautiful! I’m vegetarian and had the thai veggie curry which was beautifully seasoned. Pub was decorated for christmas and very warm and cosy. Served by a wonderful girl Bria, looked after us well, will be back!

We had the Christmas meal, it was amazing. Food was well cooked and tasty, there was a good vegetarian selection. The service was excellent. Matt, Chrissy and Callum were very attentive. Would highly recommend, we will be back again.

Had a lovely lunch with my mum. Good menu choice with something for everyone. Service was with a smile and quick but not rushed. Special shout out to Dylan, Callum and Matt who were all very friendly and welcoming.

My family and I (x7 of us) came to celebrate Christmas early together. The service was exceptional and felt very welcomed. The staff are very professional and willing to do anything for customers. We had the three course Christmas menu; the food was exceptional with lots of flavour and nobody had any complaints. My family & I (x8 of us) came on the 30th of November celebrating Christmas and what a brilliant time we had felt very welcomed and lovely food.

We had a lovely family meal, it was quiet when we visited but the pub quiz was going on. Food was lovely, service great and staff attentive to our dietary requirements.

We always feel welcome and valued at The Fieldfare. The staff are very friendly and remember us. The food choice is excellent and is always hot and tasty. The choice of drinks and different deals are good value for money. The different quiz nights are fun for all the family. There is always something going on at The Fieldfare and they do a lot to bring the community together.

Went in to sort out our Christmas Day meal Callum and Dylan were so helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble. My husband and I decided to have something to eat. It was lovely arrived warm and had lots of flavour. I also had the apple crumble it was delicious the nicest I've had for years and it won't be the last time I have one either 😅

Thank you to Callum our very professional front of house backed by Dylan and Ryley. We had a lovely meal served with charm.

Being completely honest me and my partner come here with low expectations due to a bad past experience(5+ years ago) I can happily say we were completely wrong and the food and service was excellent and we will definitely be back very soon 👌

Arrived to find a long queue at the till to order food and drinks. Only one person serving behind the bar. UPDATE Tried to order online but the daily offers aren't available to choose. Eventually ordered our meals, the steak deal. Asked for steaks to be cooked medium rare. 1 came out medium-well, the other well done. Sent the well-done one back, then received a new steak that was blue. At this point, felt like going into the kitchen and cooking it myself. Other tables were also returning over cooked food. Understaffed and incompetent cooks.

As always a extremely pleasant experience from arrival to departure, from the man serving the excellent Guinness and taking our food order the young girl serving up our order and the lady overseeing everything were all efficient and happy in their service to us. I can't understand why you aren't full every time we visit but I'm not complaining because it makes my visit comfortable with a more than pleasant ambience that inspires me to return.

Came in with family and thoroughly enjoyed. Meals came quickly and piping hot. Had the lasagna with garlic bread and it was beautiful.Couldn’t manage a pudding but they had a great range and looked delicious. Served by a lovely Irish girl Brea, she was polite and friendly, will be back!

Whilst the food and service were fine the tables are totally not acceptable. The finish was affected by the disinfectants used during COVID. The table surfaces are very sticky and dining is therefore an unpleasant experience. We will not be returning until they are replaced.

The mixed grill was a satisfying and hearty meal. The plate came with a great variety of meats, including juicy sausages, tender steak, and perfectly grilled chicken, all cooked just right. Each bite was full of flavor, and the portion size was generous. The sides—crispy chips, grilled tomato, peas and mushrooms —were a nice balance to the rich meats. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re craving a filling, well-cooked meal. Staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great definitely recommend.

Lovely lunch out at FieldFare today with my oldest and dearest friend of nearly 50 years 🙂 we both had the chicken and mushroom pie with chips 😋 absolutely delicious, would recommend it . As usual lovely friendly atmosphere, polite and helpful staff, Dylan, Harry and Ryley, the whole place is kept lovely and clean and the ladies a pleasure to use . Sat outside in the sun only had chips and drink but dylan was very attentive in making sure we were OK for everything. The chips were very nice though.
