I was really pleased to come here and it looked great on arrival. However, really disappointed with the fried egg sandwich, with one egg. I then bought a scone with jam and butter and a piece of flapjack, nothing special at all, for £9. I did not expect it to be expensive. Go for the breakfast as this is reasonable!!!!

I had a lovely breakfast and experience at Fewston Farm Café on Sunday. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The staff are incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! You can truly tell that everything is fresh and prepared with care. The ingredients were top-notch, and the flavors were just perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my day. Thank you to everyone at Fewston Farm Café for such a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be returning soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing, freshly cooked food. Very quick service. Staff are always friendly and smiling. Fabulous homemade cakes, very large portions. Great customer parking, toilets and outside eating area. On your way out of the cafe, we visited the farm shop/butchers counter, there is an excellent meat selection, all locally sourced or the farm’s own herd. I buy all our family meat from here, especially recommended the bake at home pork pies. Give them a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

A delightful gem in fewston with absolutely lovely and accommodating staff, great food and atmosphere. It was a shame some guests attempted to tarnish this business as they were politely asked not to bring their own food and drinks onto the premises however they did not respond well to this reasonable request and quite frankly were extremely rude to which was not deserved. A place you must visit yourself to experience the top tier service, calm surroundings and lovely food

For some reason my review did not save from Sunday, I visited for the first time and was utterly disappointed. The owners of the butchers were very rude and ignorant. Then a lady came out from the cafe who was equally rude. The only person that was polite was the gentleman with tattoos who apologized for the others behavior and told our group we were welcome back. There was no way anyone wanted to stay and spend their money in such a toxic environment. Very disgraceful behavior and very unwelcoming.

We visited the farm shop last Sunday 18th August as a walking group. When we arrived at the Fewston Farm shop, the staff in the car park let us in. Some of the ladies, including myself, entered the shop while others went to use the restrooms. Most of us started purchasing items in the shop, and about 10 minutes later, a butcher came over and asked if the queue was for the shop or the restrooms. We explained that some of us were buying snacks, and others were waiting for the restroom. He then raised his voice and said we couldn't use the restrooms unless we were paying customers. Some of us mentioned that we had already made purchases, but he responded that it wasn't enough to cover the costs of the facilities, including toilet paper, soap, and water. We mentioned that we would pay for parking and mentioned that we planned to return to the coffee shop next door. He continued to raise his voice, accusing us of saying we would come back and then not returning. His tone and demeanor made us all uncomfortable, so we decided to leave the shop to avoid further conflict. As we waited outside to figure out where to park, some of us were eating what we had purchased. Suddenly, a lady from the coffee shop next door stormed out aggressively, accusing us of spilling drinks and demanding that we leave immediately. I tried to explain that no drinks had been spilled, but she ignored me and went back inside. Shortly after, another man approached us and came uncomfortably close. I felt threatened and started tearing up, expressing that I didn’t appreciate how his colleague had spoken to us and treated us like we were being herded. He dismissed our concerns, saying it was because we had been asked to leave. One of the ladies explained again that we intended to come back and that we were more than willing to pay for the facilities we had used, but he seemed indifferent. Another member of our group urged us to return to the minibus, as we were all feeling increasingly unsafe. As we were leaving, the man stated that they didn’t need our business "don't need your custom" because they had enough customers. One of the ladies remarked that there was no need for such rudeness, to which I added that while I understood our group was large, the way we were spoken to was unnecessary. I hate using the word "racist," but on this occasion, I do feel that we were racially targeted. The reason I say this is because one of the ladies in our group, who is white, was not spoken to in the same manner when she used the facilities. This difference in treatment made us feel singled out due to our race. When we got back on the minibus, some of the ladies expressed that they felt racially targeted and wanted to go home. The entire experience left us shaken, and some were reluctant to go anywhere else for tea afterwards.

Very disappointed with the owners behaviour and conduct towards walkers which had arrived via minibus. Roughly around 20+ Asian ladies wanting to use toilet before heading out for a walk , the owner shouted abuse and was indirectly racist "we don't need your custom" and twice we were told to leave the cafe by the owners..Quite frankly both were dam right rude, we would of paid to use the toilets but thy didn't even give us that option.

Never got to try any food, the reception we received, when trying to use toilets Before going into the cafe (plan was to leave minibuses in the car park walk around Fewston and return to buy food, drink from the cafe. The staff were rude and very blunt. We're told they didn't need our custom. A group member was shouted at because she poured a drink for her young son. One reference was you people. I was in Fewston cafe this morning when a group of people came in wanting to use the toilets. There wasn’t an issues until the ladies started to pour themselves coffee from their flask and sit at the tables. A very nice young lady went out and ask the group very nicely not to drink their own drink in the cafe one of the group got very angry and started to shout at the young girl at the point the owner had to come out and ask the group to leave. It was a very upsetting to see the cafe staff treated so badly. I then just bought some amazing take away cakes and a coffee .

I visited one of my favorite cafes this morning, a place I frequently use because of its excellent food and service. However, today's experience was slightly ruined by a group of women who arrived after me. I noticed they all used the customer toilets and then sat outside without ordering anything. Since we were seated by the window, I could see them pulling out their own drinks, which surprised me, but I continued with my breakfast. Shortly after, one of the women began shouting at a young staff member who had gone and politely asked if they were ordering anything, she happens to be one of my son's favourites because she always goes above and beyond for him. This upset my son, as the staff member came back inside visibly shaken. Thankfully, the owner of the butcher shop next door, which is a separate business from the cafe, went outside and asked the women to leave, reminding them that the toilets are for paying customers only. I know the cafe's owner well, and she was not involved with these women at all.

Amazing Rump Steak - most my friends and family will agree it’s the best tasting steak they’ve tried. You can ask them to heat seal it for the freezer so it keeps well too. You can’t go wrong buying your meat from here, minimal shrinkage and much better for you than supermarket junk. Last Saturday whilst travelling to Skipton our car developed an engine misfire. We saw the lane leading to the farm shop and thought it would be a good place to stop and phone our breakdown provider, use the toilets and get a drink whilst waiting. It was approx 3pm. We were greeted by a staff member clearing an outside table to be told dogs not allowed inside and that they were closing shortly. I opened the door, saw another staff member sweeping up and then to be told, after explaining our situation that we could use the loo if we put a donation in the charity box. We were told they were closing early as no customers due to the A59 Road closure. All staff appeared grumpy with no customer service skills. We are regular visitors to Skipton and pass this shop on a regular basis. Will we be calling again - not a chance.

May have been cold outside but the blankets for sitting out with help stay closer to the river for longer in the year. Had the pork and apple sauce roll, must have been half a pig in there - three very thick (and I mean thick) slices, deffo the main event with apple sauce and stuffing the accompaniment they should be.

Stumbled on this little eatery while visiting Knaresborough on a Sunday lunch time. We went in to get maybe a sandwich and thought it wasn’t going to be great to be honest but ended up having a cooked lunch and it was so good! The place was busy and you could tell they were locals as they were chatting across to each other. We looked at the menu and decided to have have a cooked meal. I ordered pie chips and peas and my husband a burger with chips salad and coleslaw and a pot of tea. You could actually get a 3 course Sunday lunch for £14.50! When mine came there were no peas but another bowl soon arrived full of fresh vegetables and a big jug of gravy. Food was really good the staff were lovely. The lady said that as she had been cooking Sunday lunches she gave me some of the veg. We were thoroughly impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Great food and great value for money! Definitely worth trying!
