We now use Fewa Inn every time. The staff are wonderful, polite, friendly and can’t do enough for you. The food is always amazing with flavours that far exceed anywhere else. Noticeably far better quality than most. We use them for takeout and also eat in. The other noticeable difference is they don’t rush you. Most Indian restaurants your in and out and can barely make an evening out of it. Fewa isn’t like that. They give you time to relax between bringing your mains out and same with desert.

Went here for my birthday and it didn’t disappoint. Delicious food, good selection of drinks, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The ghurka curry was amazing, as was the aubergine and cashew nut side dish. Whitehill is lucky to have this place.

A group of club members attended this pleasant restaurant and received a warm welcome as we arrived and were seated. The venue was all but empty apart from us, and drinks were quickly served whilst we reviewed the menu. With orders placed we sat in the comfortable surroundings and waited for our meals. This is where the evening could have gone better. The staff struggled to deliver food in the right order, and quickly enough. Several members of our group had to wait a considerable time for their food, and reminders were passed back and forth to staff. Once the table was satisfied with what they had received, it was noticed that the majority of the different dishes ordered were very similar in appearance and seemed to have an equally similar taste. Whilst it would be understandable that a caterer would use a base meal for large events, it doesn’t seem that a pre-booked group of just 13 of us would necessitate such a service. Although tasty, this seemed to deflect some of the group’s appreciation of the evening. In summary, a good restaurant which individual members have reported to have great dishes, which just didn’t cope with our group on this occasion. We hope to visit again.

Club Deputy Chairman visited on a Thursday evening for a family birthday meal and the atmosphere was buzzing. The party was warmly welcomed and promptly seated with drinks and menus. The restaurant was immaculate and hosts a well-stocked bar with several beers on tap including Atlantic and Guinness – unusual in a curry house but welcome! The staff on duty were very attentive but not to the point of being intrusive and were clearly knowledgeable about the menu. Starters partaken were Momo, Onion Bhaji’s and Chicken Choila which were presented very promptly after ordering. Mains of Chilli Chicken (2 strengths) and Timor Lamb with accompaniments of Special Rice, Tareko Daal and a Cheese Naan. The portions were large, with no sign of oil or grease and very well presented. With the chilli chicken in particular, different spices could be tasted with virtually every mouthful. The quality of the food was absolutely superb, the service was brilliant and was overall great value for money. Would highly recommend this venue and will definitely be returning - IC

I am here most weeks and this is honestly the best place to get a curry. Food is extremely fresh and spice can be made excellently to your preference. Staff are incredibly attentive and hard working. This place is a credit to Bordon!

We needed food late on Boxing Day and the lights were on. Such a great find though! Good service, very friendly, and really great food!! We don't live in the country, but we've told our relatives who do live locally to definitely go visit in the near future!

A costly mistake, our food took an hour to arrive. I ordered the Gurnard Grill which was overcooked dry meat. Missus said her meal was bland. Kids also not happy with their prawn noodles. Not a good experience.

Visited with family as our young grandson loves a curry! Located on the main road out of Bordon towards the A3, there’s a car park round the back as well as opposite. Arrived early evening on a Saturday and fortunately we’d booked in advance as it soon filled up. We had popadoms and accompaniments to start and the seven of us chose different curries with rice and nan breads. I had the Gurkha chicken which I thought rather bland (maybe I should have ordered the hot rather than medium?). However, everyone else said they enjoyed their meals (especially the grandson) - you’ll certainly not leave hungry and they’re happy to box anything left over that you want to take home. Drinks are on the expensive side and the bill soon adds up but overall we would be happy to return. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Visited with friends to discover that this venue, re-opened since March, was still under the same management as its previous incarnation ‘The Roadmaker Inn’ several years previously. It was clear that they have made a significant investment in refurbishing and redesigning the whole place and made the sound decision to remove the half that was once maintained as a ‘pub’. Although there were only a couple of occupied tables when we first arrived, the restaurant soon started to fill. There is an excellent menu and mostly derived of Nepalese origin. The Mustang Chicken is still an absolute ‘must’, as is the Chilli Chicken! The service was attentive and not intrusive. The opened-up new kitchen where you can see the clearly experienced chefs at work and your food coming across the pass is a great and interesting addition, and quite unusual to see. Excellent food, not the cheapest in the area, but you absolutely get what you pay for. Will definitely be coming back here.

Tremendous food, tasty and grease free. Popular and more specialised dishes were all amazingly tasty. Sizzling lamb, chicken with chickpeas and crispy naan were all highlights. The staff were charming and efficient.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Every single part of our experience at the Thai Boutique was fantastic. We went on their last day open, and were met with very friendly, polite and accommodating staff. All 6 of us had a starter, main and dessert, and not a single detail was missed. The flavours were exquisite, delicate yet punchy at the same time and extremely well balanced. I tried a bite of everyone's food and I couldn't fault any dish. By far the best Thai food I have ever eaten. Having recently moved to Alton, I am gutted that they will not be operating any more as it certainly would have become a regular stop for us. I would love to see them open a new restaurant in the local area soon!
