Great service, very tasty food and really big portions. I had never seen a jacket potato so large 😂. They were very generous with the chicken and bacon. The entire meal and drink came to £10.80. There were lots of free chairs and the food was ready in about 5 minutes. There's tonnes to choose from, and the staff are friendly, professional and efficient!

Looks a little out of place on St. Martin's Lane alongside all the posh eateries. Don't be fooled, there is a reason why Fernando's Café is always busy. Excellent food whether eat in English breakfasts or takeaway goodies the food is always excellent. We always come here for a proper English breakfast when we're in the area.

Ordered takeaway sausage egg and cheese toasted sandwich, food came in good time and was great quality.

We wanted to try a traditional English breakfast and this was the spot to do it at. Small, family oriented cafe with a homey feel. Never ate cooked tomatoes before but they were surprisingly good. Everything was done just right.

Amazing English breakfast. Simple menu, fast, friendly service. There’s only about 8-10 seats in the back, so it can be pretty cramped. so depending on the time of the day you might have to wait. But food comes out quickly!

This was the best English Breakfast in a long, long time. Reminded me of when my Nan used to make it. Everything was there, Toast with salted butter, Tea. Atmosphere was very familiar and everyone was super friendly and the food came fast.

Very efficient little place. With only seating for a dozen, breakfast came out lightning quick and food was delicious! Very well priced, especially for the area. I had the #3 which was a modified English with tea. Would gladly visit again.

The British breakfast that this place serve is quite delicious. I heard horrid stories about common British dishes but found myself actually enjoy beans and tomatoes with toasts. It is much healthier than the American counterparts. Seating area is in the back of the sandwich shop and next to the girdle, so clothes might end up smelling smokey if quite a bit of time is spent there. Otherwise, the people were nice and courteous.

Headed to London today for the theatre and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and came across Fernandos just a few steps up the road from the London Coliseum. Omgosh! Probably the most tastiest Chicken Escalope sandwiches I've had. Mozzarella and roasted peppers included. Worth stopping by to grab a proper decent meal before a show. 10/10 will visit again when I'm next in London.

Working in the area and discovered this gem of a place. Open early, fantastic food, good portions, great prices and friendly staff. Highly recommended! 🙂

Fantastic traditional breakfast, perfect to start the day in London

Probably my favorite breakfast we had while walking around London. Had a day planned to spend in SoHo and Covent Garden and started it at Fernando’s. Incredibly friendly staff and a very comprehensive menu. We came for breakfast, but their lunch and takeaway looked great as well. Very quick service. This is a must stop for a fry up.

In a world of corporate chain coffee cafes how refreshing it is to find an old school cafe with sufficient food selection to meet most needs. A little gluten free option would have made it perfect.

Truly outstanding breakfast place

This was a favourite lunchtime stop for me for many years before I moved out of the city. Fair prices, generous portions, delicious food and friendly staff!

We went in on the off chance of getting food before we went to see our show, and the food choice is really good. We chose a piri piri ciabatta and lasagna. Wow what can I say we were so full and the food was excellent. When we visit London again we will definitely be making a stop here

Picked the English breakfast off the menu but the waiter stated the breakfast menu was finished (no time on the menu saying when it finished). My partner picked another option quickly but I needed time to choose from the alternate menu so the waiter said she would come back. We received her order, food was good, price decent. However she never came back to take my order so I ended up getting breakfast elsewhere. Funnily enough we tried to line up to order at the counter with those ordering takeout (we dined in) but she rebuffed us saying she will take our order at the table.

Fernando's cafe in London is a great spot for a quick and delicious breakfast. I recently had their scrambled eggs on toast, and I was satisfied and good value for money. The eggs were cooked light and fluffy, with just the right amount of seasoning. The toast was nice and thick, and it was served with a generous pat of butter.

A small cafe just off Covent Garden , food was fresh well presented and tasty and for central London excellent value . Mainly take away but a few tables inside a bit squashed but clean . Found by accident was on way to Real Greek next door . Wife had a simple salad I had the lasagne ....with two drinks and teas about £20. Will be going again ...seems to have a lot of regulars .

Amazing hidden jem which we loved and will definitely be returning to! Lovely staff and great value for money given the location and huge portion sizes (our pasta portion was about 2x usual size which we were thrilled with). Clean place and speedy service - absolutely recommend.

Hands down the best sandwich shop in London, and the prices are just unbeatable. Truly a hidden gem. We had a sandwich and a ciabatta, both with chicken pesto, both were incredible. We went back for a second one to save for later!

It was the most genuine establishment we have seen in London. The most excellent tasting sausages and beans. The toast was top notch and tea perfect! I recommend this to everyone that wants a full english breakfast that is true to its source.

Have been here a few times, love all the freshly made fillings on display. Service is always good for takeaways, small seating area available but not done this yet. Good choice of lunch and snacks. Can get pretty busy so don't be surprised if you have to queue.

Very English breakfast, good eggs, very tasty, good price-quality

We live outside the UK and wanted to try jacket potatoes during our London holiday. This was the perfect place for them. We got a prawn salad jacket potato and a peri peri chicken jacket potato. The toppings are cold, served on top of a huge baked potato with plenty of butter. You order at the counter, then they'll bring your food to you. This is a VERY small restaurant; you may not find a seat, and you may share your table with someone else.

Wonderful little deli in London. I went inside bc the food in the window looked that good!!! Walked in and asked for a chicken-pesto sand which and the lovely man at the counter started making a sandwich right away. Nice little spot, some seating inside, but not a ton of room. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful!

Desayuno delicioso y barato (y más teniendo en cuenta la zona en la que está). El personal muy amable, servicio muy rápido. Pedí sandwich de scrambled eggs y jamón dulce y un café con leche (enorme, por cierto). Si planeas desayunar todos los días por ahí en lugar de hacerte tu propio desayuno lo veo muy buena opción. El local es pequeñito pero hay espacio para sentarse (desde fuera parece que sea de take away solamente, pero no). Actualizo: repetí en Fernando’s dos días más porque tenía la mejor oferta. Probé también el English Breakfast. Muy rico y completo.

Had the chicken pesto ciabatta. Seriously drop your “middle class” Pret and those large chain cafes. Support these small, independent locals. Much better value and tastier too. Freshly prepared on the spot after ordering. 5* food safety rating on par with the large corporate Update: love their chicken escalope with cheese and salad! Ok the chicken wasn’t crispy but for the price you pay it’s very good

If you need a great, simple and affordable breakfast, come here! The bread is great, they serve eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, tea and coffee! The service is quick and attentive!

Just popped in for a coffee, which was alright and probably the honest I've ever had.

We ordered a panini directly from the person making it. He suggested a better variation of the menu item we wanted while taking our order, so we took that. The food was done quickly and it tasted delicious. It is very small inside and there are not many tables. If you want a quick and tasty lunch, go here.

I had breakfast N1. First time having full English breakfast, I was surprised that everything went quite well together. The interior had a very "local" vibe. Give the location the price seemed really good as well.

Passed by this old favourite of mine recently, after an 8 year gap. So happy to see that it’s still going strong and hasn’t changed a bit. I hope the owners are taking good care of themselves

What a little gem of a place right opposite Noel Coward theatre. When everyone was struggling to get into the big chain restaurants we found Fernando's. Beautiful pasta, escalopes that were crispy but not oily. It may be a small cafe but what we had was delicious and plentiful. Would definitely visit again!!

Saw this little gem on a bicycle tour and made a point to come back. Our guide did not point it out, but there was a queue into the street. I knew it had to be good. Sure enough, it was! I had the full English with tea, under £10. Service was prompt and friendly, and more seating than you might think, it’s a little place. No sign of tourists here, all locals as far as I can tell, except me :-)

아침으로 잉글리쉬 브랙퍼스트 먹으러 갔는데 머신에서 뽑아주는 우유 섞인 커피가 진짜 맛있다. 통조림토마토라 좀 아쉽지만 친절하고 양 많아서 또 가게 된다.
