Went to this little cafe today as I've heard good reviews so thought I'd try it for myself & I wasn't disappointed, its a lovely little place & it's got a lovely little shop next door where the owner was a lovely lady(didn't get her name) telling us all about the hanging baskets ect.. Will definitely be going back 👍

This is a wonderful cafe. I’ve previously been for coffee and cake but this time I had lunch with my family. Everyone had something different and each meal was fabulous. Good portions, locally sourced food and reasonably priced. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Buy the eggs from the shop next door too- they are delicious!

Breakfast has glutenfree toast, staff very helpful with food intolerance. Also gluten free cakes and biscuits. Felt safe as Celiac. Cash only though!

We saw this chippy the last time we visited Caistor and went to Savages instead however we thought we would give it a try today. We ordered Haddock and chips and the pigs in blanket sausage curry, peas and gravy. The haddock was big (ordered large) however the fish had the skin left on it which put my son off and me to be fair however it was easy to remove. Pigs in blanket batter was ok however the sausage was steamed inside so wasn’t very tasty. Overall was ok and alot cheaper than savages however probably wouldn’t go back.

We had Sunday lunch here and it was beautiful made! The roast potatoes were delicious and the parsnips and carrots cooked beautifully. Every part of the meal was well cooked and the seasonings used for each one made them delicious on there own or together. The beef lovely and pink but pull apart tender. The staff were lovely, so friendly and helpful. When we asked if we could have cauliflower on its own and without cheese as one of us can’t have it, they were so lovely and arranged it for us. The price was more than reasonable for a delicious fresh meal and good drinks. Thank you. We will be back for sure
