Favorite Chicken & Ribs Cheshunt in Broxbourne

Unfortunately I had a really bad meal from here this evening. The chicken filet in my burger seemed reheated and it was very very dry and chewy. Some parts were so chewy I had to spit them out as I couldn’t eat them. Such a shame.

Very tasty and They always serve Hot food and Best in preparing the food, 3 to 6 minutes of waiting time

I ordered chicken from the store for the first time for me and my family, and we have been vomiting and feeling sick since that same night.we have reported it to the local health department. The chicken was tasteless, soggy, and oily. I do not recommend this chicken shop to anyone. Avoid if possible.

Its good food but they’ll often trick you by “forgetting” fries, right amount of chicken and even drinks. You have to check your food on the spot otherwise they’ll call you a liar. People pay for the whole meal not for half of it🤦🏻‍♀️ do better. Ive seen multiple people walk back inside and demand for their missing thing's just to be told they already “ate” them in a spam of 30 seconds apparently. They also play dumb saying if youre sure if thats what you really ordered as if you havent spoken to the same person just then.

We order from here almost every week, I love their bbq wings and piece chicken and my wife loves their Fillet of fire burger. They are friendly people in the store also. They made a mistake on one order once and made up for it on the next.

£31 for cold (delivered on a bike! ) chicken, chicken burgers, chips and ribs - dreadful, I received it 35 minutes after the email notification- I live 15 minutes up the road by car, at the most, so it should of been quicker by motorcycle What a waste of food 😡

One hour wait to deliver. Got a chicken ringer burger and on first bite it was pink! Not edable

Ordered online without looking at reviews which has now made me feel sick and slightly worried about my night ahead. Shop wasn't aware that I had ordered and hastily put together the wrong item for me with sauce that I specifically asked not to be put in there as I am allergic to the ingredients. All in all a terrible experience.

Always use this place however they are closing earlier and earlier. Just went here at 9.45pm and they are turning the lights off. Google says 11pm, window says 10pm.

Bought two meals from there last night and have been throwing up since! The chicken was awful and off had only half of it and got food poisoning! Never will go there again!

Chicken was very good, chips were also very good. However the place was very old and not maintained well. At the door the ceiling had a hole where pigeons would go through as you enter the door.

The worst customer service and food I have come across all my life, I ordered food for delivery I received it after 1 hour and 50 mins every time I called I was told my food will be with me within 15 mins. At last once I received the food the food was so cold and stale I threw the whole food order in the bin. If I could give them minus 5 stars I would.

I ordered here before but I have just ordered and 1. Upon ordering a staff member took a chip from the fryer and started eating which is completely unprofessional infront of customers and 2. I found a HAIR in my burger absolutely repulsive! Staff members should be checked and ensure that the hygiene and customer care is taken off!

I had food poisoning last night from 2 piece n chips! It’s ridiculous I was in so much pain.

Make sure you're either watching what they're putting in the bag or check your order afterwards. Food is fine but not for the price.

I waited two hours for an order and it still hasn't arrived

Our order took almost 1 hour to arrive, when it did arrive there were items missing. I called the store to let them know, to which they replied we will find out what’s happened and call you back. I waited 10 minutes before phoning back as I hadn’t heard anything. The person on the phone was rude and said ‘I said I would call you back and you’ve called me after 4 minutes’- I told them it had in fact been 10 minutes. Again he said he will look into it by watching CCTV and phone back before putting the phone down. After another 10 minutes I still hadn’t heard back from them, I called again and asked if they had figured out what had happened - he said that CCTV showed that all the items were put in the bag and refused to take responsibility for the missing food! I will not be ordering from these rude liars again! AVOID.

Disgusting attitude of the staff, I rang to say I hadn’t received half of my order, they said they were checking cctv, rang back and they basically put the phone down!!! There’s too many reviews saying the same, check on just eat!! Absolute disgrace! Take peoples money and not put the food in bags!! Scammers!!

I was ignored when I was the only customer in the shop the assistant had his back turned to me messaging on his phone even after another assistant made him aware I was waiting to be served. The place looks dirty and the perspex screen they have at the counter looks terrible.

Last Sunday 16th October, I ordered 3x meals for delivery via Uber Eats on my phone app. The delivery tracker was showing it was being prepared and an estimated time of between 40-55mins. The app didn't update and it went past the hour so I called the shop, to be told that it was coming soon but to be aware of the delay as there are roadworks between me and the shop. I waited a further 20mins and called again, to be told that the delivery driver had left 3minutes ago. My friends and I were starving and getting very annoyed at this point. The next notification I received on my app was that the order had been cancelled, but as I had just called the restaurant and was re-assured, I assumed this was just an error. a further 20 minutes later, the restaurant called me to THEN tell me that my order had been cancelled as I was too far away!! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE AS THEY LIE!!

Ordered food and waited 1 hour just to be told delivery cancelled when order was acceptable and delivered pending. Would not waste my time ordering from them again. Very poor customer service as when I called to ask why it had been cancelled they just hung up.

You would of thought a chicken shop knew how to cook chicken.... I don't know why we still use these guys but maybe because their chips are better then kfc lol but each time we have ordered here the next day we feel horrible and in pain they simply do not care about the people they serve food too and are so lazy they send put un cooked food

Prices gone up standard of food gone down. Chick soggy crust and grisly and smaller portions. Sorry you just lost a regular customer.

I've ordered a few times from here but often via Uber Eats. The store uses their own delivery so often takes an hour from order to receiving the food. A couple of times the order hadn't even been started to be cooked after an hour but an apology was made with extra food thrown in at no cost so I can't massively complain here as the restaurant does try to put things right. I would not recommend the chicken strips, the only time I ordered these along with my girlfriend they were undercooked and pink, we got sick.

Found flies in my food. Hair in the wings. The chips were stale. Only good bit was the drinks because they were cold. They didn’t even give me a full refund, spent £20 only got £7.80 back. Never again. Very unprofessional. Do not recommend. Honestly the bunch of plums should just go out of business.

Has not been great the last few times we have been. Every item we have had the last vouole of times has been very dry and felt as though it had been standing in the hotplate for hours. Disappointed.

So upon arriving to favourite chicken to collect an order I have made over the phone, I had discovered that they forgot to cook my food and did not note down my order. So once we have gone through the order all over again, I had to wait 10/15 minutes for the food to be prepared only to pay and drive back home (1.2 miles away) to discover that half my order was actually not in the bag. So I contacted the restaurant and got told I can either wait 30 minutes for it to be delivered to me or they can leave a note on the system for my next order. Shocking service and horrific manners.

5 star food, always hot and packaged well to take home. Always get our orders 100% correct and good prices. Their baked beans are amazing! We prefer this to the major chain fried chicken establishment.

If I had the chance I wouldn’t even give 1 star my brother in law find a hair inside the chicken when we call them they where pretending that they wasn’t understanding English instead trying to fix the problem this is unprofessional and very unfair for us One think that I know for sure will never older from the again

Poor hygiene, got sick from eating chicken wings and ribs. Ribs very dry like they had been sitting there for days. Won't be eating from there again. Staff very rude.

Ordered a double ringer meal chips were undercooked and still partly frozen bun fell to pieces as soon as I picked it up and tasted stale , chicken was dry rubbery and completely tastless only thing good about it was the Pepsi that actually tasted of something binned the lot complete waste of £4.99 will never go back!

we have been using favourite chicken and ribs for many years....with no issues....however in the last six month`s or so something has changed...the food quality has got worse and the delivery times are getting longer....they only managed a food hygiene rating score of 2....from the council....the food does not seem to be as fresh as it used to be....it quite often arrives just warm and the chicken and ribs are hard and dried out!!!
