Best chicken shop in Chesham Very clean and friendly

I have been regular customer since you opened the shop in Chesham however the last two orders have shown a significant loss of quality and value for money.. alot of business go under when they think they can sacrifice quality to make that extra buck… don’t do that.. look at the size of chicken pieces and tell me how you can charge what you charge.. your chicken pieces were huge and lovely now they are tiny and dry… I rated you higher then kfc and other established brands but based on the last two orders feel like you have dropped the ball!!! Very disappointing

Got charged for a meal when I did not ask for this. In the end decided to just take the drink to save messing about with a refund. Customer service could do with improvement.

The staff here were helpful, although I wasn't so sure I was going to get what I ordered. All was good and the portion size of chips were decent and the nuggets were OK too.

This place is immaculately clean which is reflected in their 5* Food Hygiene rating. We were excited when KFC opened in Amersham but this place provides beautifully fried chicken and fries which put KFC to shame. Friendly service and excellent food at a fair price.

Been 3 times over last four weeks, twice they had no fried chicken ready, had to wait 25 minutes, the time they did have it ready, took it home (3 minute drive) chicken was cold had been sat there for ages. And the staff attitude is just terrible, its like there forced to be there always miserable, no hello no thank you, has really put me off this place

Food is rubbish, wish I went to KFC. No seasoning, over fried. Go elsewhere

Review for Favourite Chicken - Chesham: ⭐⭐⭐ 3/5 stars I recently ordered a meal from Favourite Chicken through Deliveroo. The experience was mixed, to say the least. On the positive side, the delivery was speedy, and I appreciated that. It's always great when your food arrives hot and quickly, especially when you're really hungry. Also, the pricing was reasonable, on par with similar fast-food establishments, so I can't complain there. The downside, however, was the taste. The chicken was a bit on the bland side and somewhat greasy for my liking. I've had better fried chicken at other places, and the taste here did not leave a lasting impression. The chips, too, were not to my preference, although I should add that I can be quite particular when it comes to my fries. Would I order from here again? Probably, but only in a pinch. It wouldn't be my first choice. Favourite Chicken has some work to do in terms of their recipe, but they have the potential to improve, and I hope they do. Very nicely seasoned wings and generous portions

I visited on a Wednesday few weeks back and I went Just as open at 12 pm and No chicken pieces ready as not been cooked so I asked guy behind till short Asian man why you open if food not ready he was very rude said don’t tell me what to do I know what To do he said. Chicken Was anther 20 minutes I walked out this guy should be sacked as this job Is not for you my friend You should open 12.30 when food ready

it was okay! i was a little disappointed that the bun was small, my son even mentioned it at the time. having said that the bun in the Hemel branch which i visited earlier this week was of normal size. A note to the owner please inform the customer in advance if any changes. or return the money

Had a box meal chips burger and hot wings. Tbh nonissue with it not bad and not amazing. Cheap and reasonable food.

The first time I went here to order in the evening some fried chicken I was told that they didn't have any, which I was not impressed with as it had only been open a few months. The second time I went to order a few weeks later I wanted a spicy chicken burger and again I was told they didn't have any! I thought what is going on in this place? I had to go here again last week as my preferred takeaway was closed. This visit was a bit more successful for me as I ordered a spicy chicken burger which I got, (although it was not very warm) While my order was being prepared another customer came in and ordered the same burger as me but he was told that they didn't have any! Basically what the issue is/was is that they can't be bothered to cook fresh to order so that when the food in the hot cabinet runs out in the evening they fob you off! Also they leave the door open on the hot cabinet (see photo) and I also wonder how long they keep food in there for. If you do go here you should insist that they cook the food fresh for you. Also the guy that handles the cash also handles the burger buns without washing his hands.

Took my daughters money saying they tried to deliver the food but they did not. Video doorbell proves they did not deliver.

I eat from this franchise regularly in another town, tried the one in chesham and it was awful, would NOT recommend, chicken was hard as a rock. no wonder the shops always empty.....

Had two hairs in my meal... one in the chips and one tangled in the chicken burger. As to be expected I'm not impressed!

It's ok for what it is and get from a franchise, very tight portions on the chips as they vary sizes everytime you go in there,buns are cold, staff have no clue on how to communicate, chicken is average prices are abit steep for what you get, just an average takeaway

The level of SALT in the wings should come with a health warning. Very unimpressed with the quality of food as the standards and the taste is going downhill. Extremely unfortunate as they started off really well.

Great chicken best in town. Prices a little high, but well worth the visit. One little point, to keep the chicken warm it is important to keep the cabinet where chicken is on display closed unless chicken is being taken out. At times it is left open and results in the chicken becoming cold as the door is always open at the shop. But overall thoroughly enjoy the food and will visit again soon.

Click and collected our chicken from favourite chicken on greenway tonight, I have to say I’m really impressed, it was all ready, hot and fresh when we picked up. Best chicken in Chesham by far. Not soggy, crispy skin, nice thick chicken with little bones, and good price! Shop was incredibly clean and you can see the food has been cooked fresh not sat in a cabinet for hours!!! Will 100% have again

We have been to Favourites today for our lunch and where not impressed at all. It took them 30 mind to prepare our food, it was cold by the time we got it. Our 5 year was not happy at all, they gave her chips instead of corn on the cob and the food was rubbish. We will not be returning.

Inquired in store and was told no halal certification.....
