This is our first time ordering from Farnborough Tandoori so we didn't know what to expect. It arrived 15 minutes early and was boiling hot and it taste amazing. Will defiantly be ordering again, I think we have found our favourite Indian after only living in Farnborough for 10 years 😁

Consistently excellent food from Farnborough Tandoori. The chicken pakoras are always light and crispy, Bombay aloo well spiced and potatoes perfectly cooked. The vindaloo delivered on heat and the bhuna was full of flavour. Portion sizes are also good. By far the best Indian takeaway in Farnborough. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Would definitely use this restaurant again. The food was brilliant, huge portions and real chunky meat a pose to small pieces being pumped full of water. Delivery was prompt and the delivery guy abided by the delivery note. And we received an extra popadom which is a bonus. Thank you

I am so glad the take away we used before closed, so that we could find the Farnborough Tandoori. The food was superb, excellent taste. Delivery time was warp speed and the portion sizes? Well let’s just say we have enough for another meal tomorrow. Highly recommended.

Food was ok not very hot considering its not far away! Ordered a plain nann bread and im very confused as to why it had coconut in it and just greatful none of us are allergic!!

Food is usually on point from here but there was something VERY off about some of the chicken today. Some tasted normal but some had a very off flavour and it almost made me throw up in my mouth. Please check the date on your chicken!!!

We've used Farnborough Tandoori several times and will do so again. However, tis time we asked for the food to be delivered at 8pm. We needed time to finish off some jobs and I then needed a shower. However, the food arrived at 7:30pm. Most unsatisfactory.

A piece of metal wire about an inch long was in the food. This is obviously completely unacceptable.

Food is always amazing from here wouldn’t order an Indian from anywhere else ! 🥰

Food was abit bland and was hot by hot mean every dish I ordered was so hot which made think it fresh heated using microwave (not saying it was just wondering)

Lovely food, always the best in Farnborough. Only small issue with this restaurant is the delivery price. £2 is much more than other places charge and it used to be free over a certain cost which is much nicer for the customer.

Food always late and curry watery

Food was awful. Did not taste of anything and sauces on korma and tikka masala were weird constancy and left a watery pool on plate making rice very soggy. Keema naan had filling in bottom of bag not on actual bread. Very disappointed, we didn’t eat it in the end and just threw it in bin.

Food was very nice as usual but delivery let it down today. Obviously we know it's NYE so expect a longer delivery time but the issue is that we ordered at 18:00 and got an estimated delivery time of 19:20, it got to 19:50 before we tried calling but phones were off. The restaurant only updated us after we complained through the app to which they updated the delivery time to 20:10. At 20:25 I tried calling again and the phone rang but then instantly cut off and after that was "busy". To me it seems more like someone took the phone off the hook as it instantly became busy after I tried calling. No update but then order finally arrived at approx 20:35, 2hrs 15mins after we ordered. All it takes is a nice message from the restaurant saying they are busy and it will be late, the fact we had to message/call/complain multiple times without an answer is what is unacceptable for me. I have requested money back on the app and the restaurant hasn't responded, no apology for the delay.

Delicious and delivered hot! A bit late but I can understand that. It’s been a while since I ordered but I will definitely be doing so again.

The vegetable curries were VERY spicy, but other than that, it was lovely flavour.

We ordered at 7.22pm and were given a delivery time of 8.40pm, which seemed a long time but was ok. However, food did not finally arrive until 9.30pm. Having said that the food was excellent and good value and the restaurant did explain that they had a high volume of orders, which I accept.

The food was ok but I have never had cold chewy poppadoms before. This is the basics that they need to get right and should not be inedible. The rice was good but the lamb bhuna was very chewy also.

We ordered at 18:30 and the good was finally delivered at 20:20. The original estimated delivery time was 19:20 but got delayed twice to 19:50. Then at 20:00 I rang and got told it would be another 20 minutes which was pretty annoying when we were already made to wait so long! While I can understand a Saturday night may be busy, we would really have appreciated a call from the restaurant to explain the situation rather than just delaying our order and then turning up an hour late. The food was good but not worth the wait. I always leave this restaurant 6 stars but today it just wasn't good enough.

I’m making sure to leave this review whilst it’s still fresh in our memory. Wow! That was sensational. It was hot and tasted fresh, excellent portion sizes, a few extras in the bag, the additional notes were read. Quite simply fantastic. Best curry we’ve had in a very long time. We enjoyed it from the first mouth to the last. Will definitely be returning next time we fancy a curry. Highly recommend. Thank you.

The food was good quality, tasty and still hot. Unfortunately it was late, I called the restaurant after it being half an hour after the stated time, they were courteous and apologetic. They said that they were very busy and to please bear with them. My food turned up less than 2 minutes after I put the phone down. I will order again even with the lateness.

A great meal, the tikka vindaloo was at the top end of the heat scale (as it should be) and the large chicken pieces were tender. The chilli naan was fluffy and again the heat was as expected. The meal arrived quickly, well presented and was hot on arrival. Portion sizes were also generous, a six star experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mediocre takeaway, was dissapointed. Used Cove Tandoori (getting more expensive) and Vindaloo (unreliable) for a number of years so decided to try Farnborough Tandoori on Chapel Lane. Website was easy to use and straightforward. It’s cheaper but then that’s reflected in the quality of the food. Spicy poppadoms were uncooked in parts. Chicken tikka in the sauce was hard and not succulent as some of the 6 year old reviews state. Reshmi kebab egg omelette was runny in places. Online additional note and in the place I asked for additional chillies, but they weren’t put in. Sent an email on the order email address as advertised on the website and vi fb messenger with zero response. If you want cheaper and food to go with it, then ok value. If you enjoy great Indian food, then pay more and go elsewhere

Food delicious, was a few minutes late but received a text from restaurant, but didn’t really notice a delay as it was peak hours on a Saturday night. Tried many local Indian restaurants and this is the best and consistently good. Only tiny criticism is sometimes the lamb can be a bit chewy but when it’s good it’s lovely.

Delivered on time, very hot. Food itself was delicious (best we've experienced locally) but found plastic in the chicken korma which put us off the rest of our food.

overall very good but the Chicken Tikka wasn't as good as usual not sure if something has changed a bit too creamy. The rest was perfect great blend of spices.

We usually order from Farnborough Tandoori- but tonight was absolutely the best we have had. The food was piping hot like it had just come from the kitchen, and the meat dishes had ample chunks. Really impressed tonight - thank you!

Unfortunately our food was slightly late then we had the wrong order delivered. I called the restaurant and they seemed very confused but sent someone out to rectify it and they did send us the correct order within another 15-20 mins, the delivery driver was very polite and apologetic. The curries were very watery and had spilled all over the containers and unfortunately I don’t think I’d order again.

The food arrived early and generally hot although some of the sauce was spilt over all the containers and not easy to dish up. We were missing the naan bread and the "chicken curry" was very watery and didn't really taste of anything. A bit of a let down.
