Completely incompetent staff, who just stare at you and get the order messed up continuously. Did is a bit salty as well. Will not be returning.

Whilst on business in London, I was looking for a healthy lunchtime meal and came across Farmer.J, which offered a number of options. I choose the Harissa Chicken, Tahini Aubergine and Broccoli with. Dash Peach drink. all for £12.90. Great tasting food, that I really enjoyed.

I had a wonderful dining experience at the restaurant yesterday, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Manager Maya. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor truly elevated our meal.

Expensive but quite nice food, in small portions, served in a maddening way by unbearable people. Pointing at the food prohibited, and will attract a warning from staff. I will never visit this place again. If you own this business, sell.

Great place for lunch, alternative to your usual sandwiches and salad. Serves nice Mediterranean hot food and this place has a good selection for vegan and vegetarian too.

I have been meaning to come and try one of the famous 'fieldtrays' for ages.  Finally popped in for take away, click and collect.  Easy to order online.  No eating in at present with the pandemic restrictions.  Nice branch.  Clean.  Social distancing well managed.  Friendly staff.  Efficient service.  Basically pick a protein or vegetable fieldtray, choose your base, add two sides and a sauce if you want and voila you have a fieldtray.  Really good and the portion was big.  Very generous with ingredients.  I had the gochujang salmon, fresh baby spinach base, grilled broccoli with olive oil, salt and pepper and the kale miso slaw.  I didn't have a sauce as the gochujang salmon and kale miso slaw already had sauce / dressing.  Filling and healthy.  They display calories and nutritional information on the website which is very helpful.  Good selection of options to make your fieldtray.  Freshly made and tasty.  I wouldn't have this regularly as it is pricey but would come again.  There are drinks as well, pastries, sweet treats and a few other items as well to accompany your fieldtray.  If you go late in the day, I suggest ordering online and pre-booking a click and collect slot as choices are less.

I have eaten here on a number of occasions and always enjoyed the food. However, they have a very frustrating policy on the use of laptops. I popped in here after work on a Monday evening by myself with a view to having a quick bite to eat, a drink and doing some work for a meeting the following day. I took a seat in the bar area, the place was very quiet. However, when I tried to use my tablet, I was told that this was not permitted after 5.30pm. I tried to reason with the guy, saying that the place was substantially empty and it's a casual place, not a fine dining restaurant and there are plenty of more up-market places which would allow you to do a bit of work on a Monday evening while enjoying a quick bite especially when the restaurant is so quiet. Disappointingly, the guy was completely inflexible about this. So overall I found the approach to service pretty appalling which is a shame as I do think the food is decent. And just to clairfy, this is a casual joint which does takeaway food at lunch but also has space for sitting down - it is not a high end restaurant.

I had a base of grains and herbs. Harissa chicken on top. Sides of roasted cauliflower and brussel sprouts. First off, I am so full. Second, the flavours really are exquisite. So much care has gone into their products. Super friendly service even though they must be exhausted. Massive lunchtime queue and they process it so fast and efficiently Lovely ambience. Comfy place to eat it. Great value. Definitely will be coming back many times.

Stopped here to grab a few drinks after a long day of exploring London before dinner. Super friendly staff and great cocktail selection. I had the blood orange and grapefruit gin & tonic as well as the cucumber and hibiscus gin & tonic. Both were delicious. Family members had the grapefruit spritz and loved it.

Thursday night, mid August in the big smoke. I need to find a restaurant for our Thursday night supper date I stumbled across a review for The Fancy Fork at Farmer J and an article about Shuli Wimer (ex River Cafe) was now the chef. Browsing the online supper menu had me hooked. Our waitress showed us to our table, asked if we had been before, and offered us water and the menu's. Having read about the Fancy Fork I was aware of their menu offerings. No starters, mains, etc. They suggest, a bit like Tapas, for two people a few from the start of the menu as 'starters' and three from the middle of the menu and if really hungry the steak or fish to share. Right now what to order? Our waitress fully explained any of our queries. Three 'starters' ordered. The cured Salmon is a star, Stuffed Zucchini flowers magic and Padron peppers superb. Our 'mains' were the Chicken Shawarma. Cabbage, Tahini, Yoghurt, Zhug.and Lentil Msabbaha & Salad. Green Pepper, Shallot, Radish, Chilli. Two stand out dishes. Being the foodie I am I am already constructing the Shawarma in my head to try at home. The lentils were equally as good. The house red was excellent, Montepulciano D’abruzzo Riserva. Both the food and drinks menu is what the 'experts' suggest is the best format. Fresh seasonal ingredients, enough items not to make it over whelming. A short good wine list. I can not fault this restaurant. Also a shout out to the waiting staff. Excellent crew.Thank you for a great experience. We will be back

Second time I’ve visited this venue, staff are so friendly and infectious! Foods incredible, highly recommend. This visit was extra special by the attentive waiter Magic (Shane).

I love this place!! it's in the middle of the city/business district so there's a mad lunch rush but they are totally ready and the staff create a very upbeat and efficient atmosphere! the menu varies a bit but always a few hot mains and gorgeous side dishes!! they have plenty of veggies and gluten free choices as well. I have not been for dinner but apparently it's sensational as well!

Food is decent and healthy but the lady with dreadlocks working there needs to calm down. Shouting and being rude to employees and customers. It's okay to aim to provide a quick service but remember customers are the ones paying you and customer experience is what makes people come back...

This place offers a great selection of drinks from alcohol to cucumber lemonades and the service here is always friendly. We visited again last week after a visit to London. Perfect location in the heart of city. Tables with a USB socket are a great touch! Be careful as it is card only

We came here after work for a girls catch up. They food is really healthy and delicious. We did not make a booking but the staff managed to get us a table and were so friendly. I would recommend going to farmer j.

Trip advisor suggests you write about first hand experiences and it is exactly that. The experience is everything at the end of the day. We have gone here a few times and the menu choices are good, and we have enjoyed the 2 for 1 happy hour on their unique cocktail menu. We had been twice before and the 2 for 1 went from 5 to 7 pm. In this case we arrived and notice no sign for happy hour, so we asked if they still had this and we were told yes. We proceeded to order food and our drinks and certainly a second round makes sense. When the bill arrived we were not credited with the second drink. When inquired the waiter said the owner changed the time to 5 -6 pm last week. Seriously? Is this not something worth mentioning, nothing posted anywhere. The charge was not lifted. Very disappointing and not a place that truly values their customers, therefore not on our recommend list. Avoid!

We were exploring the area around city of London and happened upon this place by accident. We went inside to escape the cold and see what they had to offer. They had many different drinks, juices and smoothies. The place is all green, inviting and friendly. The barista was so service minded. They are cashless. We will definitely come back.

Arranged to meet a friend for breakfast before work on a Friday morning. There are plenty of tables and the decor is really nice. You can see all of the breakfast items behind glass and you know instantly that it isnt a table service kind...

The choice of food here is excellent, the salads and veg are incredible - the Mac & Cheese is sooo good. Definitely recommend for lunch. Love the trays they serve the meals in. Despite the place being busy the service was really good.

This place offers something inbetween standard restaurant dining and fast food. Some food is made up in advance and is on show at the counter, all look tasty. Grab a seat, then queue at the counter to place your order. Can highly recommend the shakshuka...

I first came here for takeaway lunch which did not disappoint. Food and deco are it’s strong point. I then came back for coffee which was good too (although felt a bit pricey). And finally I booked for weekend brunch which was a total disappointment....
