Oh what a gem of a place to stay. Rustic and welcoming. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious. We didn't have to wait too long for our meals to arrive, all homemade and the cakes were to die for. Helen the owner was so helpful and informative with the history of the tea room and any other questions we had. Wil definitely return

Caravanning at a nearby site and arranged to have lunch at this tea shop with visiting friends. We were all looking forward to a nice lunch, but sadly we were very disappointed. The two ladies had a beetroot and goats cheese salad, which costing £6.50 barely had any cheese. Plenty of lettuce, adequate beetroot but not a satisfying lunch! I had a bacon bap but whoever made this really needs to practice cutting rolls as the bacon was falling through the bottom of the roll, and I had to use a knife and fork. The fourth member of the group had a full English breakfast which was ok. On arrival we were informed by the lady that they were only able to serve the items on the main board due to staff shortages.Service was incredibly slow, and it wasn’t until we were about to leave that the lady asked if everything was ok. Giving her the honest feedback, she did not respond and just returned to her counter. A poor choice of venue after reading mixed reviews, would we go back, NO.

After reading the reviews we chose here for lunch, sadly we didn't stay other than to take some cake away, we didn't feel overly welcome and just felt uncomfortable being there.

We found this little gem of a place. Slightly out from the main tourist routes. What a pleasent and inviting little farm shop and tea room. We both had the Cream Tea. We went back second time a few days later and the standerd o fservice and food was excellent. You can purchase to take with you a variety of home made jams/honey, sauces/cakes and bread to name but a small selection available in the farm shop. What a joy this place was. If we are ever in the area again. This is one place that is a must stop for us. The staff were very attentive and Helen one of the ladies that served us was only to willing to please. Thank you to all the staffwe wish you a very prosperous future.

Fabulous camp site. Run by a beautiful caring family being the essence of the place. A real gem of a place to find. A fabulous quaint restaurant on site run by beautiful caring staff who cannot do enough to help. Everything served with loving care. Excellent home cooked food. Crafts for sale. Fresh vegetables. Horse riding next door on the beautiful seaside. Good facilities. There’s nothing more you could want. On reply to Teris spiteful review I suggest he should have left immediately. He was fortunate the site had a fridge and washing machine. How on earth anyone can complain about the shop is beyond belief because it is truly beautiful and amazing. There are no problem with dogs on the site with everyone being responsible. This is obviously a dog hating family who took their cat on holiday. I was the unfortunate person who was camped next to them and had to move because of their fictishous lies as are their lies about the camp site. I never even spoke to their daughter who the mother said was 32!!! The family has nothing better to do than to wreck peoples lives and businesses. Go into the massive complexes with supermarkets, we are all better off without you! You obviously have nothing else better to do but to write your long wicked review. I just feel sorry for the cat who was caged awfully in the back of their car!

Poplar Farm, what can I say except AMAZING. Came here as read the reviews about the delicious food, and it certainly met all expectations. We had 2 full English breakfast, and some bacon rolls for the children. All food came out warm, fresh and DELICIOUS. The full Englishs were lovely, and had plenty on the plate! The bacon rolls for the children were lovely and hot and the children loved them. The cafe itself is very pretty, and the cakes are to die for too! Honestly would recommend to anyone.

Hidden away from main road. drive up Crabtree Road and keep going until you see sign for Popular Farm on right hand side. A good place to stay over too. I rang first as have been when not opened. Home made cakes, and fresh coffee. Nothing too much trouble. They have so much to buy here also from home made honey, chutneys, jams, and much much more. They also do activity days where you can make things, so find out about these things on their Face book page--I did !! There are baby lambs at the moment, which were very sweet to see, and there are always horses too.

We were probably the last customers of the day and yet they were still prepared to offer us something not on the menu (which is only a few dishes) to accommodate our child. I had bangers and mash with beans and sue had chilli chicken. Both were tasty and sufficient. Definitely recommend this tea room. Our total bill for 3 with drinks was about £20.

This cafe may only be open during the summer months, but it is immensely worth seeking out. The service is heartwarming - the owners engage honestly with the customers, and take genuine pleasure in seeing people enjoy their hard work. All the standard fare is here, but the farm shop goodies, and the breakfasts are truly excellent.

I visit the farm annually, and it never disappoints. Their various jams, marmalades, honeys, homemade cakes and produce are delicious and never fail to disappoint, they have lovely staff who will try their very best to cater around you needs. I remember visiting and taking part in the crafting session when I was younger and loved it! I would highly recommend!

We’ve been wanting to come here for ages, as we were in the area my husband looked up their kitchen times and seeing as they were serving food until 2.30, we swung by, walking in at 2.20. The smiling front of house asked us if we were wanting food and then said “sorry, kitchen closes in 5”. A full 10minutes before their own 2.30pm advertised time. If you want to stop serving food before the advertised serving times, you need to amend your website and socials. To me, if it says food to 2.30pm, that’s when you can last order food. I’m glad the ridiculous council pay and display was playing up so we hadn’t actually purchased a ticket. I can’t stand establishments who operate like this so I won’t come back.

My sister booked this restaurant as she lives in Skegness when we arrived it was very busy which is always a good sign. The food portions were very large and very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It looks quite small but don’t be put off. Definitely give it a try.

Bar staff are incompetent and the owner's father is ignorant and stole my drink. Will never set foot in the place again while they run it.
