Super tasty food and atmosphere cool 😎

Stumbled across this place after walking the dog. Must have walked passed it frequently. What a lovely surprise. Food was delicious. Service friendly. Atmosphere warm (though it was the first hot day in April so we sat outside). I felt good vfm. Will go back for sure.

Visited today and I had really high expectations as I have seen pictures and read reviews but unfortunately it was really disappointing. Ordered two main meals that came with ten minutes difference between them . When my pie arrived was stone hard to cut. Waited for someone to check on us but no luck . When my son almost finished his meal I got someone's attention and return my dish . Took the plate without any explanation. Really disappointing experience. No recommended

Best Turkish food we’ve had. Better than anywhere on green lanes! A really excellent dinner. We had the mangal feast and it was all delicious. The wine was also very good

Very pretty room, good service, lounge music, varied menu and excellent English breakfast.

First the owner was humble and so welcoming that I felt so touched with it. The French toast was magically soft and tasty. I loved their Mediterranean hash brown absolutely very much. Their vegetarian English full breakfast was also tasty. I am sure they are not using the usual tinned beans. Not sure which brand or it’s house made but it was definitely tasty. And my shining star - COFFEE the tone was caramel and vanilla one once you sip. I tried Flat White and Americano - if you are coffee connoisseur you will be immersed in this fresh coffee here. The nodes of coffee was to die for ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It's a lovely place, great atmosphere and tasty food. We came very early morning (shortly after opening) so we had a table without trouble but I think if you're planning to come for brunch/lunch/dinner it's better to book ahead. (I had the vegan shakshouka which was tasty but quite a small portion.)

The guy at the door made everything possible to have us sitting as soon as possible on a bank holiday!

The service was very good, however the food was disappointing. Had the breakfast pancakes and they were very dry and over priced. Coffee was good though.

The food is faultless, unfortunately their service lets them down. A man, I'm guessing the owning, is 'patrolling' the restaurant which personally, makes it feel a little uneasy. It took 15 mins for our drink order to be taken, this was after we asked if we could order. My drink was then getting cleared away, before I had even finished it! The food arrived which again was faultless, however the service, or lack of it, just let's it down. We went to pay and the waitress was then trying to engage, however I felt this was a little too late. It's a beautiful hidden gem in Southsea, however I just feel the service needs some work. When eating out, you're looking for an experience. Unfortunately this is one we will remember, for the wrong reasons.

By far my favourite brunch spot in Southsea. Perfect location, atmosphere and food! My favourite dish is the Cypriot eggs. And their coffees are 10/10!

Wow this place is amazing staff friendly, the atmosphere is great the food so tasty and my kids said the pancakes are the best they have ever had. 100% can’t wait to return.

Absolutely spot on delicious food at reasonable price comparing to all the eating places round the vicinity. The restaurant is very busy at the weekend but the manager will always find you a space whether in 5 minutes or 20 minutes.

As a vegetarian, I’ve always loved going to Farm Kitchen for breakfast and lunch, but their dinner options were very limited and expensive. £15ish for a plate of standard vegetables and a small severing of rice. In comparison to their extensive daytime menu, it doesn’t compare. To my fellow veggies and vegans, I recommend a day visit over an evening meal.

Had a fantastic dinner. Had the mixed grill which was perfect with the selection. One thing to recommend is the complimentary bread at the start. Really took me back to being on holiday in Turkey many many years ago. Definitely will come back and need to try the breakfast menu too.

I love farm kitchen. From the food to the staff, they really know how to run a successful business. 1000% my favourite place to eat from in the UK. They cater to everyone whether you have a specific dietary requirement, they allow dogs and they treat every single customer with life and respect. 6 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First time trying the evening menu and were very pleased! My partner and I ordered the calamari, the prawns and the octopus as our main. All of the dishes were absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect for a date night. The bill came out to £100 for the two of us, which included a nice bottle of wine. Overall very good value for money! We will be back.

We have visited Farm Kitchen over the years for breakfast so thought we'd try their evening menu for a change. A well established local restaurant it has now doubled in size and been tastefully renovated to advance its culinary offerings. This visit was with friends and we were a group of 8. All of our food was delicious, we opted for starters and mains all washed down with some nice wine. My stand out dish was the main meal which was a mixed grill, always a good choice for me in this style of cuisine because you get to sample a piece of most of the grilled meats they have to offer. For me the only let down was the service, it was disjointed. We had one starter fail to be served, one main meal forgotten which had to be prepared while my friend waited and wine forgotten. Hopefully the restaurant can iron out this issue because it was an otherwise splendid meal. I would return to give it another go, many a dish caught my eye on their menu!

First visit, will be going back for sure. Busy when we got there, guys found us a table as quickly as they could, so if it’s an occasion I would suggest booking. Atmosphere was really buzzing, clearly other patrons were enjoying the ambience and food. I had a quick look round at some of the food coming out of the kitchen and it all looked really good. We were quickly served, and our tea came out fairly quickly, shortly followed by our meals. I had the stuffed peppers, really tasty and a much larger portion than I had expected. Great value for money. The menu options are great, something for everyone. Although the restaurant was busy, we didn’t feel rushed. The guys working there are so helpful and nice. In my opinion this establishment is a little gem, and I’m looking forward to my next visit.

My wife and I were keen to revisit the Garden Kitchen after its recent refurbishment, a wow! What an amazing restaurant, and it’s dog friendly too! We popped along for Breakfast on a Sunday morning around 10:30 and the place was packed. That didn’t stop the staff from seating my wife, our cocker spaniel pup and myself quickly. We did have to wait a little while for our order to be taken, but I imagine that was because it was so busy and they needed to give the kitchen some time to process their existing orders. The food came out surprisingly quickly and was absolutely delicious, although we did have to chase our drinks as it appeared they were missed. Again, with how busy it was, I don’t think this was the end of the world. I had the full English but didn’t want tomato, and the waitress was more than happy to substitute it for a hash brown, something you don’t see very often nowadays. That alone would see me happily return, but the fact the food was so nice and there are plenty more things on the menus left to try will guarantee another visit. Thanks to all the staff for their hard work 🙏🏻

Been coming here for years now. This is our family get together place, especially for birthdays etc, or just to meet up and say hi. Always great food, service, friendly pleasant staff. Even better since expanded premises. Best place in Southsea.

Beautiful, decent, and child friendly place to visit

Wonderful home cooked food with fresh ingredients. Coupled with attentive and friendly service makes this little gem unique and well worth a visit. Now open evenings too, you must book and visit if in the Southsea.

Recently visited Farm Kitchen for their new evening service, and it was a delightful experience. Their Middle Eastern and Turkish cuisine is a genuine treat. The ambiance is enhanced by tasteful new decor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu’s highlight for me was the Lahmacun. It’s clear that they use fresh, high-quality ingredients, which brings out the richness in flavor. The meat in the kebabs was exceptionally tasty, showcasing both quality and traditional cooking methods. Desserts were a perfect end to the meal, striking a balance between traditional tastes and a touch of innovation. It’s rare to find such authentic and delicious Middle Eastern and Turkish food. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exquisite culinary experience.

Had been here for breakfast a few times. Tried a lunch with a friend. Just as good! Plenty to choose from and reasonably priced. Definitely a favourite place to go!

We visited the Farm Kitchen because one of our group had previously been there a number of times and recommended it. Our visit this time was a great disappointment, thanks to the increase in prices and reduction in portion sizes. The quality was OK, the staff were efficient and friendly, and the coffee was good, but the poor value for money would stop me going again.

This was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. I would highly recommend this place.

Really Good, Would DEFINITELY come back. Went there for breakfast and really short wait times for drink and food alike. The owner was really nice and so were the waiters getting anything we asked for or needed making us feel right at home Atmosphere so nice and vibey, the best in the morning as people are rushing to get a table Food was brilliant and cooked to perfection, My cake recommendation is the white chocolate and pistachio brownie, one of the most underrated cakes you can ever have you will never look appetised at a normal brownie again 10/10 experience, I would give this infinite stars Definitely go here for any meal, cheaper compared to other places for breakfast nice and varied menu Also chicken and Turkish sausage halal but not bacon and normal sausage Keep it going!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️👌👌👌👌

Amazing breakfast. Delicious, full of flavour with Turkish elements to some of the breakfast items and other foods on the menu. Mediterranean breakfast was delicious with a nice varied plate. Turkish sausage was delish and a lot of the menu is halal which was a huge plus. Had gluten free and dairy free allergen options. The potato and tomato/onion/egg breakfast was great for my mum who is gluten intolerant, and she just exchanged the bread for gluten free bread. Also the pistachio and white choc brownie is 1000000/10🤩 Probably the best one I've ever had, soo rich!! The prices are quite fair and standard, though the portion sizes are a little on the smaller side. But other than that amazing place, bustling on a Saturday morning, 5 mins away from Southsea coast. A family run place with friendly staff and owner - will definitely be back for their evening menu to try their kebabs!!

I love this place and it is our regular lunchtime venue when we visit our son in Southsea. The food is a brilliant blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern made with good ingredients.

My family and I always come here for breakfast/brunch at least 2-3 times a month, the atmosphere is so lovely. Really friendly and kind people that work there, especially the owner who is around on the weekend, always happy to help - they went above and beyond when we asked for a candle lit on a cake for my dad's birthday breakfast a while back. Super excited for when they open their second half of the restaurant! Definitely will be the first in line :)

Great place for breakfast or brunch, we have been going there for years. Sadly, on our last visit we were a little dissapointed. The eggs were undercooked (the whites still runny) and the service wasn't as efficient and friendly. They were very busy due to the Great South Run, so I put it down to that. I'd still recommend it.

Great little place, staff were very friendly. We were able to get a seat outside straight away without booking. You order at the bar, a preferred setup for me. I got the stuffed peppers with beef. A little light on there beef but all around an amazing dish. I got some halloumi on the side which was not as fried for my taste but that’s a preference thing. My friend got the Spanish omelet with salad instead of chips from the small bit of omelet I tried tasted amazing. Average priced what you would expect from the area so around £10 for a main or a little under. Highly recommend come here quite often for their breakfast was my first time for lunch will be coming back for lunch here.

We discovered Farm Kitchen before even arriving in Portsmouth. It's the only place we prefer when we miss home and its flavors. The Mediterranean breakfast and their coffee are truly delicious. If you want a genuine Turkish breakfast experience and Turkish coffee, or if you're just looking for something really tasty and of high quality to eat, Farm Kitchen is definitely a must-try place. Additionally, it's a dog-friendly café, and the staff is very friendly and thoughtful. Our dog always gets plenty of attention every time we go. Finding a seat, especially on sunny days, is a matter of luck, so I absolutely recommend making a reservation.

Came in on Sunday for the English breakfast. It was awful. Cold beans, cold toast, cold coffee and small portions. The sausage tasted awful. This has to have been the worst English breakfast I've had in Southsea and I've tried a lot of them.

Farm Kitchen has been a firm favourite breakfast/brunch spot for me throughout my maternity leave. Fabulous food and excellent, welcoming service. Very helpful staff. Just squeezed my electric wheelchair up to table. If it had been busy, might not have fitted as tables are very close with chairs almost touching.

A new favourite with plenty of breakfast choices and indoor seating. The egg is always perfectly cooked. Good if you are vegan or veggie, more choice than just a sad lonely mushroom on a plate.
