Only recently found this fab Chinese takeaway ( not lived in Chester long! ) It is an amazing, lovely people who work in the shop and the delivery boy, they are always so cheerful and so polite. The shop so clean . The food is fantastic , the only problem is they are going on holiday for 2 weeks, how dare they ! They do deserve it but we will miss them . Thankyou all.

Delivery time was originally 1 hour 15 mins. I called the restaurant after 1 hour 30 mins and they hadn't even started cooking it. It finally arrived after just over 2 hours. Food was nice but the wait wasn't worth it.

Seafood Chow Mein was spicy, was not listed as hot on the menu. Pancake rolls were small. Honey Chicken did not come in a sauce of any kind.

Delivery driver didn't follow instructions so my husband had to walk to meet him, but delivered a little early, which was great, and everything was delicious

This is the first negative review I have ever left. I will not be using this restaurant again. The food was 45 minutes earlier than stated.. which is fine except the delivery driver felt it appropriate to be extremely rude to me when I didn't open the door straight away. (She waited about a minute as I was taking my bin out) She told me she had called twice (I had no missed calls) and that she didn't know where it was. I gave the right address and even extra instructions. She didn't even say hello or thank you just passed the bag aggressively and walked away. To add insult to injury... my food had spilt and leaked all over the bag.

although food was lovely it was over an hour late.we rang up said it will be another 10 minutes another 30mins later it turns up.not good when you have children!

My food was delivered to the wrong address and when I questioned it the owner (women who answers the phone) was extremely rude to me and refused to take responsibility for this. Don't eat here. Very bad service. Stay away.

Nothing wrong with quality of food, but once again failed to deliver on the free extras they advertise. (prawn crackers etc). Don’t falsely advertise them, I’d happily pay for them over going without due to your error.

They got my order wrong with no refund, they gave us curry sauce instead of sweet and sour, and we asked for special cried rice but they gave us chicken sticks and I don't really know what type of one's they are, sorry to be so negative but I will not order again, the service was very awful and stressful for us to experience

Rubbish delivery service. We got our order but something was missing. We had paid on my card so wanted the missing item that we had paid for.. 4 phone calls and 2 hours later a car pulls up on our front full of people all staring at our house and the person who come to my door was full of attitude. Never again.

won’t be eating from here again , rang up at 20 .30 which was the delivery time to be told that it would be another 20 -30 minutes as there was only one driver and they were very busy ,when I asked about the delivery time I was told that they can only put 1 hour 10 mins on as delivery time .

tofu was cold, but restaurant replaced it straight away. Would highly recommend as the food tasted amazing

Been eating at Far East for a couple of years now, and have always really enjoyed it until recently. The bean curd in black bean sauce I always loved wasn’t very good the last time I ordered and had become rather watery and bland, so I decided to try something else - the mushroom foo yung I ordered instead was probably the worst version of the dish I’d ever had. It came swimming in liquid and was frankly wet through, and tasted unpleasant and salty. I made it about a third of the way through and gave up. The noodles I ordered were ok but bland and overly salty, and the curry sauce had obviously already started to turn as it had completely set by about halfway through the meal, forming an impenetrable trampoline of curry skin you couldn’t physically pour or dip. The drink I got wasn’t the one that I ordered, and the honey chicken my boyfriend had (which he normally likes) was described as “odd and slightly sour”. The chips were dry and hollow and the delivery person seemed a bit rude to be honest (I don’t think we’d seen them before). I’ve ordered here consistently for the last couple of years every couple of weeks or so, and I’ve only ever had good things to say about the food and service, but based on my last two experiences they’ll probably be losing a regular customer here.

The 10 mins late was definitely worth it the food was amazing will definitely order from then again amazing

Family and I have had a lovely take away from here, prices are very reasonable, seafood is unbelievably cheap here!! They have a very tasty curry sauce and my little ones enjoyed their sweet and sour, will happily come again!!

the food was AMAZING! but unfortunately, the service not so good. we ordered drinks and they did not arrive with our food. we then rang to say that our drinks didn't arrive and then got told that the delivery driver would bring them too us. he then brought.back our drinks but only 3/4 of them. so we had to ring again and ask for the other drink we didn't receive. 45 minuets later, the - very blunt - delivery driver brought it to us. we would order again, but not frequently.

Never had service like this....terrible. I ordered at 7.10pm and was told it would arrive at 8pm. So at 8.40 we rang, and rang, and rang. It took 65 times before a Chinese lady answered. She never asked our name or address but said "THE LONGER I AM ON THE PHONE TO YOU, THE LONGER YOU ARE STOPPING ME COOK YOUR FOOD"..........beware!!

the food was disappointing bland and flavourless tasted like it was cooked from frozen! after waiting for over an hour for delivery I called to be told my food would be cooked shortly, and given several different excuses. food finally arrived over two hours after ordering in a luke warm state. my dog will eat almost anything excluding dog eggs in the park but even he resides to eat the prawn toast and spring rolls

We have used this take away a number of times and the experience is always the same. Food is mediocre,not bad but not exceptional. Attitude of the woman on the phone is polite but disinterested. The delivery time is always terrible. We have put this down to ordering at the weekend but after a mid week order we have received the same experience, 2 1/2 hours between ordering and delivery is the norm. I wouldn't mind but we only live 2 miles away from the tale away.. In summary I would not recommend this business.

I ordered shredded salt and pepper chicken, it was burnt and tasted burnt as well. The rice was nice and the chips (can’t really get that wrong) the waiting time was 2 hours and when I called the restaurant to complain the lady put the phone down on me... rude customer service, burnt food, late service. will not be ordering from here again.

Terrible food, nothing was fresh the meat for the beef was inedible. Food was lukewarm and clearly had been frozen and then just chucked in a fryer or microwave. Absolutely dreadful.

above and beyond the. all off duty. Due to my mess up food was delivered to wrong address and returned to shop. they redilivered and cooked it fresh! cannot recommend the food and the service high enough. I would give them 10 stars if I could

The food quality was perfect even arriving late the food was still hot! I put the lateness down to it being a busy Sunday and this is the place to eat. Good job fellas

I visit this take away at least once a week. The food is tasty and as I'm a vegetarian there are plenty of dishes for me to choose from. The staff are always warm and friendly, the service is nice and quick, I'd definitely recommend this take away to others. My favourite dish has to be the Chinese vegetables and cashew nuts, there are also a number of lovely Thai meals on offer.

Ordered food from Far East and never again will I order from them again. Ordered food at 6pm with a delivery time of 710. Food has only just turned up. Rang the takeaway 3 times. Lady that answered was VERY rude and no phone manners at all. Alls she said to me was I’ll phone the driver, your food is on its way! Got my order completely wrong and now they won’t take the order back! Delivery driver was also very rude and didn’t even apologise. Fuming isn’t the word 😡

From ordering to delivery took about 15 -20 minutes. Food was really lovely and would definitely order again.

27/7/2017 18:55 Had a takeaway with my family, I had the salt and pepper shredded chicken as usual from Far East. Woke up at 4am with sickness and diarrhoea and have now been in bed for the past two days. I have never been sick from a takeaway before, the other times i have had a food from here I literally cannot complain. But i won't be ordering food from here again. i have seen that the food hygiene rating Information last updated 30th July 2017 is a 2.

Typical MSG-thickened Chinese-style food that was supposed to be Thai. Half the things weren't what we ordered either.

What a surprise this is definitely the best Chinese around in Crewe the chicken balls are on point nice and crunchy not soggy like the other shitholes provide!

We ordered food to collect at 20:05 but ended up being late - we got to the restaurant at around 20:30 to find it was still being cooked!! Thankfully the food was really good - I'd definitely order from there again.
