Always amazing food! Had to wait a bit longer tonight as they were run off their feet- they put up with so much abuse which was unnecessary and put them under more pressure. They were apologetic and worked as fa etc as they can, the food was spot on as always! 🌟

Thought we’d give this chinese a go. Ribs were ok. Sweet and sour chicken, sauce had a strange metalic taste, chicken curry, chicken was bouncy, soup ok. Dont think we will be returning, didnt enjoy food

Best Chinese takeaway I have had for years. King Prawn and Chicken Szechuan was excellent. Large chunks of moist tender chicken, plump prawns and tasty Szechuan sauce. Enough for two! Chicken balls the size of drumsticks with a beautiful fruity sweet & sour source. I look forward to trying some more items off the menu. Good sized portions, and very tasty!

Foods excellent, but more often than not you get home and you have something missing or wong!!! If you could order by numbers this may be easier ?

Again having placed our order, when we arrived home we had part of the order missing and part of the order we received wasn’t ours. The food is excellent quality but the breakdown is at point of order, please sort otherwise you will lose lots of business!

Prawn toast is the chunkiest and most filled we have ever had. And you get 2 full slices of bread! BBQ sauce is fab, as are the fried noodles. The special fried rice is delicious sometimes just needs a little extra salt though and again the portion size is huge! Crispy duck portion is huge!

We are regular visitors and cannot fault the food from fairview. Tasty and good portions. Our normal dishes are chow mein, chicken in black bean sauce, special foo young and Chinese curries, which we always enjoy. We have recently been having the salt and pepper combo and think it is great value.

Having visited around twelve months ago and really disappointed due to ordering the salt and pepper combo and all thrown like mush in a pizza box I decided to try again as a relative said it was now very good , I went last Thursday and we tried fish and chips which the chips were fab and the fish good but the batter is poor , we tried salt and pepper chicken wings salt and pepper ribs and sweet and sour chicken which were fab tasting and very generous portion sizes , I have not gone through the menu but what I have had has been very good and I have since returned and again very good !

Well, despite our previous review we decided to give Fairview a 2nd chance and, I am sorry to say, my last review still stands! Very bland food. I don’t know what has happened to Fairview but I will not be going back!

Over the years we have been regular customers of Fairview Chinese Takeaway but not visited for over a year until last weekend. What a change! Must be new owners as completely different staff. We ordered our usual Chicken Chow Mein. Chips, curry sauce and prawn crackers. The Choe Mein was bland almost tasteless, chips very dry and the curry sauce a thick congealed mess. Fairview gets 1 star for the prawn crackers. Very disappointed as Fairview was once the best Chinese around and is now probably one of the worst. Needless to say we won’t be going back.

Have to say absolutely disgusting. Fish ???? Barely there as covered in concrete like batter. Chips at least a week old. Curry sauce???? More like a congealed set blamange..... Absolutely dire...........

Where did it all go wrong?It can be very difficult to find a good quality Chinese takeaway. Most offer large portions for a reasonable price but the quality can vary wildly. The Fair View managed to once tick all three boxes. Eighteen months ago this was the place to go far a good quality meal that doesn't have you reaching for the water all night long due to a salt overdose. I'm not sure if they've changed hands but the quality isn't there anymore. Sadly, generic is the best complement I can give the Fair View now.

Never used or heard of this place and on arrival it doesn’t look much but the food was very good. I do think in this modern world they should be able to take a card payment as even the local window cleaner can.

There seems to have been a change within the last year and the last few times we have been have been fantastic. There is now a new menu, food is on point and the presentation a lot better including little touches like fresh spring onion and sesame seeds on top. Certainly the best Chinese take-away in the area. We recommend dishes including, the salt & pepper box (No. 1 on menu), singapore vermicelli & cantonese duck.

Been getting takeaways from here for 25 years - never bad ! Good range of dishes and always busy - reasonable prices

Been using this chinese for years, food is always tasty and served piping hot. Can get busy so would suggest that you phone your order through and collect.

Used to be really good folk came from alover town.....but sad to say in our opinion it's not nowhere near as good as it used to be !

The fairview has got to be the best Chinese takeaway in lancashire they have a great menu and food is to a high standard and very good service highly recommended

Love this Chinese won't go any were else never disappoints ring with my order and it's always ready when I get there food is lovely

Excellent takeaway that is always hot an fresh. The curry and the hot bean meals are particularly good.

Been going for 20 years - never been disappointed - phone to order first as it is always busy ! OK ribs are good - so it the Prawn curry and Aromatic crispy duck yum yum.......

Excellent service and great tasting - even if it is a Chinese Chippy! The chippy food is good and the Chinese food is tasty and always well prepared.

I have been a customer of the fair veiw for many years food always fresh and excellent. Staff very accommodating they will make you whatever you ask. Great takeaway very reasonable price. Would recommend to all.

food is great, phone orders a nightmare, i go once a week on a busy friday, please ring them at least half an hour before you set off, the old lady always says 20 minutes to everyone who orders, and i have been waiting in the past for my order for at least 30 mins longer than promised, having said all that the food is amazing

We used to visit from time to time and whilst never fabulous the food was always ok. But the last time I went the chips were so bad that I too them back and got my money back. How can you get chips so bad that they smell foul and taste foul too whilst being hard in the middle whilst like rubber outside? Maybe because they buy frozen chips in large sacks and don't cook them for long enough. We will never return.

i have been visiting this take away for nearly 30 years It is a familiar and welcoming part of cann bridgeRun by the same family throughout this time. Is a testamony to consistantly good takeaway food being served. If you are in the area well worth concidering.
