Would just like to say one member of staff really went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable she was really helpful and friendly.. her name was Emma

The views are great. Service and staff were brilliant. Unfortunately the food was 4 star not 5. Vegetables and chips served were far too salty. The pies, (chicken, bacon & leek and cheese & onion), were both good although the cheese & onion with caramalised onion was different to other C&O pies & not quite as cheesy. The small car park was a nightmare. Park on the street.

Nice polite staff and good priced food. Lovely view across the fields on a clear nice day. Nice environment all together. Update.. Although its still a good place to visit, the food menu has become disappointing, and there is a lack of choice. The atmosphere appears to have changed a little, we visited twice in the past month , April 2025. Just to see if it was a one-off.. I'm not sure if the management has changed.

Only call in here if I'm passing. Just got a lightly battered fish & chips but they were excellent. Nice chunky fish & tasty. Might call more often.
