Considering the excellent value for the room then a very decent breakfast with a wide choice of items , included in price, is just the business.

Dairy free milk was provided for breakfast which was very substantial, cereals, full English, toast and spreads, croissants, muffins, fruit and yoghurt. We were encouraged to eat as much as we liked and offered takeaway boxes if we wanted

Uno de los mejores lugares para alojarse en el centro de Hull. Ubicación parecía estar bien. Sin embargo el desayuno necesita algunas mejoras.

No, seriously, don't. Well, it comes with your room and if you're hungry and you've nothing better to do with your time and you are too cheap to get breakfast elsewhere... but the breakfast buffet is just not very good.

This is our 2nd time staying here and again we was not disappointed. Perfect location, staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble for them. Room was smaller than last time but it had everything you needed. Clean linen, towels and room.

Decided to eat here to avoid the fast food scrum at the Harvester, which was nearer to where I was staying. The bar area is spacious and modern. The Errazuriz merlot I ordered was out of stock so I settled for another Chilean red at £19. OK but nothing special. The restaurant was pleasant enough and the service was good. Why they feel it necessary to have a large flat screen TV in the restaurant is beyond me. The mezze starter was good and enough to share for two. Caesar salad with salmon was good and there were plenty of anchovies, which makes a change. The sweet and sour pork plus rice and prawn crackers was a generous portion but a bit bland. Overall, a pleasant dining experience. Not cheap at £71 for 3 with a bottle of wine. The menu was a bit limited and, unfortunately, not that far removed from a typical Harvester menu - but the ambience was more pleasant!

As on our previous visit we found the food to be really good freshly cooked to order with chips to die for and very good value. Unfortunately the air con was too cold and hotel was having problems with the control. we also forgot that the tea and coffee was provided by the hotel bar straight from a machine must remember to give it a miss next time.

I wouldn't go back here the food wasn't the standard i expected, the staff are young and inexperienced, our waitress brought our bottle of wine and just dumped it on the table unopened. It was very cold and people where going outside for a smoke letting smoke and cold air come in. I had to put my coat on the back of the chair and it felt more like a cafe.

This is a hidden gem in the centre of Hull. Its found in the Holiday Inn in St Stephens and so has a handy car park. The food is fresh and cooked to order with 3 menus to choose from there is something for everyone in taste and price. The staff were friendly and the food good. The only negative was the tea and coffee which is provided by the Hotel Bar straight out of a machine and was a little disappointing! Will definately be back!

As always we had a great time in this lgbt friendly cafe bar. Friendly chatty staff fun atmosphere (there's often a drag act on or dj) and most of the prices are cheaper than weatherspoons.

What a shame. This place is clearly run down. Hygiene and housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. Food - edible but disappointing and certainly not as the pictures in the menu promise. We've been coming here for 15 years but this was the last time. A sign of this times i guess. This place needs serious investment to bring it to its former glory.

Food was ok but one item was missing. When I called to report this I was advised I could get it replaced tomorrow! Not great so I had to get it refunded.

From the moment I walked in with my 5 month old baby, Emme welcomed me. I sat down and fed my baby whilst I waited for friends to come and Emme went out her way to come to my table to take my drinks order and bring the card machine to me as I was feeding my baby. She was very smiley, friendly and checked how our food was when it came. Thank you Emme for your lovely service!
