I had an extremely disappointing experience with the manager of this pub. His behaviour was unprofessional and lacking in basic respect – not what you’d expect from someone in a managerial position. I genuinely question how someone so poorly suited for the role could have been appointed as manager. The management should seriously reconsider their hiring practices and ensure that those in charge are capable of handling situations appropriately.

Although the meal itself was lovely , it was spoilt slightly by the slow service .

Stayed for 1 night,nice rooms clean and tidy, food and drinks a bit on the pricey side. Restaurant food is average , I have had better.

Lovely traditional pub with nice beer garden. Friendly staff and good food.
