We popped in here for a snack on Saturday, mostly as it was the first cafe we passed with indoor seating! There was a decent menu for light lunches and snacks which suited us fine. Service, both at the till and clearing the tables, was lovely - nicely spoken, polite and efficient. The sausage baps were lovely, nice tang with the brioche bun and my granddaughter demolished the entire chocolate brownie with none left for me so I guess that's a recommendation too! Nice inside with plenty of space between tables and tasteful decor. A pleasant visit.

Unfortunately the service was extremely slow, lots of stuff was sold out (despite being on display and nothing saying it was sold out?!), customers only being told it was sold out 30 minutes after they’d ordered and paid (!), dirty cups, nothing cleared - the food was average and probably deserves a 3. At one point the woman who seemed to be in charge just snapped “I can’t do this!” Midway through someone ordering and stood to the side. The other two staff were both young and didn’t seem to have had any training of any kind (or if they had, they desperately need it again). It’s a shame as it’s in a good location!

25 mins to get a coffee! Service appalling, not busy and tables not cleared, dirty glasses at glass station, when asked for a clean one the woman who appeared to be in charge was rude! Unfortunately this is not first time experienced both here, went back against my better judgement. There is so much choice in Marlborough my advice is go elsewhere

We were pleased to see an organic restaurant. Decor was good and welcoming However food was poor and took ages to come The most remarkable thing was that the staff did not appear to be trained well. There were plenty of them, but they took no initiative to eg clear the tables. Consequently, they lost lots of trade as we saw many people come in, try to find a table, but as they hadn’t been cleared they just was liked out again. A missed opportunity. Such a pity

The visit peaked with the bottle of of Luscombe ginger beer but hit a speedy downhill trajectory thereafter with a tired and weary quiche accompanied by a lacklustre and paltry selection of overdressed leaves. However, everyone has an off day ......... until I visited the loo (up a couple of flights of ancient stairs). Heavens to Betsy - they are a health hazard!! Most unpleasant.

What a disaster! To start you have a long queue at the counter to order and pay in advance, perhaps this is planned by management as I would have walked out before the coffees were (eventually) served. At £6.50 for two coffees you would expect table service. Actually, I would not even have ordered if they had a price list at the counter. All I could see was a board with a list of drinks and no prices. I asked what Gluten Free cakes or biscuits they had. They said they didn't have any, that their delivery was Wednesday and this was Tuesday. So if they had a GF cake, it would have been a week old. Lucky me. Going to the tables it had been cleared but not cleaned. Sugar granules and stains all over. After an almost unacceptable delay in delivering two coffees, they eventually arrived. One teaspoon had a brown ring on it and the milk jug had brown stains inside the spout. Pictures below. I had to go back to the counter to correct the table number and I noticed the coffee machine was in an appalling state. The Steamer had not been cleaned between uses, thick with old foam, the top of the machine was grubby and uncleaned. Overall, this was a terrible experience. Overpriced, long queues to order, delays in service. Dirty, dirty. We will most definitely not return. I hope Eversfield Organics management read these reviews and act upon them.

Absolutely terrible place. Ordered 2 pasties. Both came out on one plate. £13.90. When asked for a refund I received the biggest attitude

Had quiche with salad, which amounted to no more than an omelette in some pastry with five lettuce leaves minus any dressing. Unbelievable and they should be ashamed charging money for this. Had to chase my cold drink twice, which i finally got post lunch. At least I had it in the sunshine. So very poor food and service.

AVOID. Just dreadful. Looked an upmarket establishment from the outside, inside a different story. Crappy chairs and tables which needed wiping. Queued for service which was greeted with little enthusiasm. 2 pasties, a sausage roll and toastie came to £45. Worse still was the fact that my daughter’s £6.50 sausage roll was pink and undercooked inside. By the time I realised she’d eaten half and I took it back to counter and asked the staff. They didn’t even look at it just shrugged and dismissed me saying it’s organic. Just awful stroppy service and sloppy hygiene. Total rip off and unpleasant experience.

Don't bother visiting! It's now a failed venture and shuts for good at the end of April after less than 18 months since it launched to a big fanfare. It opened as a full blown deli with meat and fish counters, a bakery, and wine and organic veg sections but the cafe upstairs quickly began to stink of the ground floor fish counter which blighted the place. The prices of everything were way too high and the service wasn't great either. Recently Eversfield reduced the operation to just a ground floor cafe with dust sheets covering other stuff up - not a welcoming environment at all. So don't waste your time - there are other, far nicer cafes in Marlborough.

We stopped here for a coffee on our way through Malborough. We chose this place as it seemed good from the outside. We went in to find that almost every free table still had empty cups and plates etc from the previous customers. We assumed they had had a busy run of customers and were just trying to catch up, but given the stuff was still there in the main, when we left 45 minutes later perhaps not. We had to clear the empties from a table onto another in order to be able to sit at a clear table. The people at the table next to us received an apology for there being no tea pots left. The customer looked around and noted it was probably because they were all out sitting on tables! Despite there only being one other table (two people who had ordered two drinks) in front of us, our two drinks took 15 minutes to arrive. Given there were at least two members of staff - perhaps more in the kitchen - the lack of clearing tables and the time it took to bring the drinks out were not acceptable...especially in an establishment which was purporting to be high end and had prices to match. Service was not amazing either. So all-in-all wouldn't recommend, and won't be returning ourselves

I am shocked and appalled at this establishment! We were visiting the area today for an event at the college and popped into town for a coffee and sandwich to takeaway. When we walked in it was very quiet however there were dirty plates and cups all over the counter. Before we were even asked what we were there for the waitress very rudely said that she would not be serving us for at least 30 mins as they had no clean cups or plates! What?!? We were in fact getting take out which we told her and I asked if this was okay she said “I suppose so”. I then asked if they did sandwiches and she told us to just look at the board for everything they do! I can’t describe how rude this person was! I walked out because I would never part with my money for such a horrible attitude within this establishment! If your the owner of this cafe I think some retraining is in order as you are losing business because of the poor attitude and complete incompetence of your staff!

Went in with a friend today around 25-30 minutes before the shop was due to close. Was met with death stares and dead pan faces, the customer service from the lady with short orange/red hair with glasses was awful! Just asked us “what did we want” and then continued to sweep and shut down the shop around us asking us to move out of the way a few times whilst she swept. However the other lady who made the shakes was nice and the shakes themselves were fantastic :)

We popped into this cafe while visiting the National Trust site and ordered two jacket potatoes. We were disappointed when these arrived as the portion sizes were very small. This was surprising as they were £7 each. The cakes, however, were good though on the more expensive side.

They do the best tasting drinks on the high street but sadly I cant go there anymore, almost every time I ask for soya milk they give me cows milk. I always have to stop them half way through to change the milk, and check with them at the end. Today I was too slow and they poured cows milk into my only travel mug. What if I was allergic?! What if I didn’t check every time? I’m vegan for ethical reasons and it upsets me that my mug has now contained cows milk. It wasn’t a busy time as I was the only customer at the counter. They need to take things like allergens much more seriously. Will not be coming back.

I've got to be honest, the hot chocolate looked very very light in colour and tasted very very weak..... Sat in here almost on our own for 30 minutes before working out that we actually had to order at the table rather than having a waitress or waiter...... Let's be honest, they only have one thing to do. Serve coffee, ice cream and puddings. You would have thought they would have a more snappy service and a happy attitude at the till....... Answer bringing my hot chocolate to the table. It would slam down with such force that after the chocolate covered the table. See pictures...... I really couldn't recommend this place at all.
