Came here after staying in the local hotel next door. The venue was clean and tidy with a lovely atmosphere. Food arrived in a timely manner and was exactly as ordered. Both the rib eye steak and fillet were cooked to perfection. Staff were extremely accommodating, with moving of table when friends arrived to paying the final bill. Highly recommend, whether you are a local, or like me travelling a significant distance 👍👍

Other than excellent service at the bar in the evening, the overall service was very poor. We booked breakfast and paid up front for our 2 days. On arrival at the desk on day one, we waited several minutes before we were acknowledged, we were then shown to a table but not advised where the food was. Whilst eating, we then watched a member of staff clean a table, whilst holding the cutlery in her armpit!! and remove it by the tines and knives by the tip and spoons by the bowl!! no gloves were worn. The second day, again despite booking and pre paying we waited in a long queue whilst the staff member dealt with people who hadn't booked or pre paid. It would have made sense to ask which of us had booked and paid and dealt with first. I mention to a staff member that they were about to run out of plates and her reply was "I know, we're running out of everything" Chaotic and badly organised, too few staff, overcooked scrambled egg, burnt croissants, not a good experience.

I had prebooked one of the five meals in advance as our son is severely autistic, and as part of his routine, he has his evening meal at 5 PM every day. However, what I requested over the phone two days prior had not been conveyed to the kitchen staff. Seeing my concern, Izzy quickly improvised and said she would make his meal a priority. She also provided a quick snack while we waited. The main meals quickly followed and were cooked to perfection. We had a very pleasant evening with lots of laughs and enjoyed the calm atmosphere and competent service from Izzy and her team. We happily left a tip and will be sure to return again soon. Our family life isn’t exactly normal, and we have to plan ahead due to our son’s condition. The staff accommodated us well and showed understanding, which in my book, goes a long way! Thank you, Izzy & Team.

We came to view the area to see if this is the place to retire. This was all made easier with the staff who were very helpful, Sam on reception at the premier inn gave us a great insight on the area and Ryan who was our waiter made us feel very welcome, along with Emily who served us the next day, the food was well prepared, presented and always hot and served with a smile, if we decide to live here then we would definitely use the restaurant .

We stayed here recently and decided on a large fillet steak each as we had enjoyed one the previous week at a Beefeater in Gloucester Quays and I wanted to impress my son so on a trip to Telford we stayed at the Premier Inn which was first class and booked a table for dinner and breakfast at the beefeater next door ... BIGGEST mistake ever !!! ... We waited an age for the drinks ... even longer to have our orders taken and once given another almost 45 minutes before the meals arrived ... The steaks were the worst that they could ever be ... Elasticated fillet steak that you couldn't cut easily with a steak knife and then chew and chew and chew until finally we both gave up and I called the waitress who immediately apologised and stated that we weren't the only ones to complain so why was it still on the menu ?? ... We then chose another meal of steak pie and sirloin for me ... Mine was edible but my sons pie was awful ... Stodgy pastry with drying out steak inside ... He took 2 mouthfuls as he was hungry and then pushed the plate away ... I felt awful for bringing him here but thought that something might be salvaged in the morning with a cooked breakfast ... Well how wrong was I ... This was by far the worst breakfast I ever had ... I had an English with 2 eggs ... one was snotty and the other rock hard ... The bacon was cold hard and grey looking, the tomato looked a very pale and sick looking thing with no centre ... The several small bits of mushroom were tasteless and the hash browns looked like someone's left overs ... My son spread his egg over his toast and it was all snotty and stringy ... He pushed his plate away and walked out ! ... What a disaster this was ... The staff were good but obviously struggling whilst I just wondered who on earth might be cooking this stuff ?... I would never ever use this place again and will definitely think twice about using a beefeater again with the exception of Gloucester Quays .What a total waste of time and money this one was .

I haven’t written a review in a long time, however. This visit warrants a review. Thankyou Tara who served myself, my partner and my friend. Fantastic service! To the lady in the pink top who showed us to our seat (I think manager) Thankyou for being so welcoming and introducing us to the one way system. The waitress with the ginger hair who took our drink and food order, your personality was amazing. You have really great customer service skills. Finally, best till last. Chef Kyle.... not a single scrap of food was left on our plates. Credit where credit is due, and credit is deffo due for your food. Beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Thankyou so much. I would 100% recommend anyone to visit the Euston Way Beefeater in Telford!Fantastic

Spent the long bank holiday weekend exploring beautiful Shropshire. We popped into the Beefeater at Telford Central the first morning and had such a lovely experience, thanks to Janet B! Janet is absolutely lovely. She made us feel instantly welcome and was so kind, attentive and personable! She seated us out of the fray and asked if the table was to our liking. She checked back on us several times to ask if we fancied anything else. Despite being very busy, Janet went the extra mile! She made for such a lovely breakfast experience we came back three more times! One of the days when Janet wasn’t there, there was a noticeable difference in the overall customer service. Thank you son much, Janet, for making our holiday all the more lovely!

Well what an oasis we found on a long trip home from our holiday in Wales. We hadn't booked because we were not sure of timings but I went in to enquire and the lady welcomed us in. We checked in the QR Code and were taken to the nearest table as our waitress Janet B had noticed my Dads limited mobility, he is 92. We were treated with the utmost respect and politeness and everything about the covid regulations were explained clearly. Staff wore their masks at all time and were very particular in how they safely handled all cutlery, crockery and glasses. We ordered from the lunch menu and the mains were delicious as were the desserts!We were very thankful for this oasis moment and wish to convey our thanks to front of house staff, especially Janet B, for they kindnesses and to the chefs for our very tasty food.

Stayed at the premier inn and booked a meal deal. Beefeater very busy but manager went out of her way to accommodate our family at a reasonable time to eat. Staff very friendly and attended to all our needs, very covid safe protocols in place. Waitress Paige was lovely and made sure we were happy with our meals and kept us up to date with how long our food would be until it arrived at the table. Felt very comfortable and relaxed. We had a table booked for 6pm and we found that the service was very slow. It took nearly an hour for us to receive our main course and then nearly 20 mins for pudding. We left just after 8:30, 2 and a half hours for 2 courses and not all of us had pudding! Service was disappointing and staff on shift didn’t really seem like they wanted to be there! Food was actually really nice but service let you guys down tonight as it didn’t seem overly busy so don’t understand why everything took so long! Will not be in a hurry to return

As a lady working away from home it can be daunting eating alone in restraunts. The staff at the restaurant here are lovely. Janet B is a very polite lovely lady. Always friendly and chatty and happy to help. Absolutely amazing meal !! The food was lovely and tasted amazing couldn’t fault anything. The atmosphere is amazing and a lovely restaurant to visit. The staff were also very attentive and absolutely lovely. Especially jan G who had the most amazing nails to go with her lovely personality!! . Not one member of staff I could fault either even when there was issues with my voucher they sorted it quickly and without a fuss. Got asked multiple times also of the meal was ok so if there had of been an issue it would of been dealt with quickly. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back next week :)

Had a lovely visit. Was is Telford looking for a new car,and came across the Beefeater, we were made to feel so welcome, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The steaks were cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth, the Garlic flatbread starters were simply delicious. Going back to Telford in a couple of weeks, and will definitely be calling back here.

We have been coming here for several years which is a good sign to how much we enjoy coming here, the service from our favourite member of staff (Jan G) is always top class, she always makes us welcome and serves us in quick time and does everything she can to please. She will go out of her way to help and will make pleasant conversation with everyone who walks through the door. The food here is also top class, and lots of good offers to be had also. A favourite of ours is the rump steaks and the mixed grill and the food always comes out hot and is delicious. The other staff also make you feel welcome, they work hard to keep the wait times to a minimum and we just love coming here over anywhere else in Telford.

First impressions in any hospitality setting are hugely important. A lesson the lead waitress/manager at Euston Way Beefeater should be taught.While checking in at the adjoining Premier Inn, my partner and I thought we would book a table at the Beefeater, thinking we would have a lovely sit down meal and help a local business. Booking ahead would also help the staff prepare considering the current COVID measures in place.We arrived pretty much on the dot for our booking but the welcome point was empty, which surprised me a little as the booking had been made in advance. The restaurant looked and sounded deserted, so I took a few steps beyond the screen to see if anyone was on duty. I must add I was wearing a mask and fully respect the 2 meter rule.There was a gathering of staff (at least three) at the till point and the manager/lead waitress shouted "Can you get back behind the screen and wait there?" No please, no thank you, no manners or greeting of any sort.I stepped right back behind the screen and a few moments later another member of staff appeared. She didn't say hello and simply asked "Are you in the same household?" which we are.Nothing further was said and she walked away. After being shouted at for mistakenly walking past the screen (there was no signage stating to wait to be seated), I tentatively followed and asked "Are we supposed to be following you? You didn't say what we're supposed to be doing and I don't want to break any more of your rules."We were seated with menus left on the table, with no offer of drinks and the woman simply walked away. The lead waitress did not acknowledge or greet us as we walked past her and she seemed more interested in clearing an empty table close by in an almost empty restaurant.We selected our menu choices and the waitress came back a few minutes later to ask if we were ready to order (still no offer of drinks). We gave our choices only to be told at that point that most of the items we wanted were not available and off the menu, even though the menu was offered to us when we were seated.The burger on the festive menu was not available so we asked if we could order a regular burger as an alternative as part of the same offer. We were told a flat "No, that's not possible. You have to order from the main menu if you want that."Only at this point were we told numerous items were not available to order. It would have been appropriate to make us aware of the limitations at the point the menu was offered to us, not at the point of ordering.Weighing up the attitude we received from the very outset, the poor customer service and the feeling that we were simply an inconvenience to their evening, in spite of the fact we had pre-booked, were residents in the hotel (part of the same company) and were adhering to the COVID rules (wearing a face mask etc.) we decided to support another local hospitality business and ordered a take-out, which was delivered to the door and with a smile. It is good to see some people in hospitality actually care and appreciate customer support.We also opted to skip breakfast the following morning which was more income lost, so all in all dinner and breakfast revenue that no doubt the establishment would have benefited from never to be recouped, plus damage to the brand name.We will certainly think twice about staying at the hotel and opt for a different brand in future as our custom was obviously not wanted.

We visited on 10/10/20 as a small wedding party. We were split up due to the current covid rules however, a lovely lady call Jan G made sure we were still close as they could allow to one another. Jan G was extremely helpful, she went above and beyond for us that night and made it even more special! Every little request we had, she tried her best to arrange it. She took photos for us and she just made our night. Jan G we cannot thank you enough!! We tried to leave her a tip but she was too humble to accept it. Jan G you are a lovely lady, thank you again! Would recommend anyone to go here the food was lovely, service was amazing, will 100% coming back here.

On the 10/10/2020 me and a few family members went for a meal to celebrate the bride and groom. Due to covid we all wasnt able to sit together however a lovely lady called Janet G got us all to sit as close as we could following the current guidelines. Jan went above and beyond making sure we had a great time at the meal. She even brought put complimentary glasses of wine for the bride and groom. Thank you for the amazing service Jan! I don’t usually leave reviews, and I appreciate things are difficult with Covid restrictions, but I’ve never been to a restaurant with such rude or ignorant staff in my life. Was left waiting at the door to be seated for breakfast for twenty minutes, despite having a table reservation, the restaurant being mostly empty, meeting a colleague who was already seated within my view and being told on three occasions ‘be with you in one sec’ by two different members of staff. I ended up having to say ‘excuse me’ three times (feeling I’d been forgotten about) to be completely ignored by staff walking by, and on the third occasion being told ‘I know you’re there’ in a horrible voice. In the end I just walked over to my colleague and sat down (after having done the NHS track and trace twenty minutes earlier), conscious we’d be late for our meeting if I wasn’t seated soon. I was immediately approached by the same member of staff who ignored me, to be told off for ‘just walking in’ and could I not see how busy they were (erm, place mostly empty and one member of staff was faffing on filling pre-prepped juice glasses right next to the main door, while myself and other customers were waiting to be seated). I was served straight away after this - although my colleague was finishing his second coffee - and the food was fine. I was here prior to this trip less than a month ago and still during Covid, and had no issues at all then, so happily came back. Be going elsewhere next time.

Booked a table but weren’t comfortable with the one we were allocated as didn’t appear to be 2 metres away from another family. We thought we’d have to put up with this but after a few minutes we were moved to another table and felt much safer. We’d been served drinks but then forgotten about for around 20 minutes as other people around us were served their food. The duty manager finally noticed us and to be fair she was really apologetic that we had been missed. Our order was taken by waitress and the food came quickly. The food was ok, (my peas tasted very strange tho) I do think Beefeater is way over priced compared to Wetherspoons and Hungry Horse for very similar food. We had to wait a while before finally getting our bill, we had been given a discount as promised due to time we waited for our order to be taken. I would go back based on the service alone, the delay in taking our order was a mistake and I was pleased with how it was handled. The food wouldn’t win any prizes (especially the peas) but we enjoyed what we had. £11.29 for my scampi, good value? Clear safety notices given out with menu which is reassuring.

We called in as we're staying at the Premier Inn next door as we enjoy a break in Shropshire.We were very impressed by the standard of service and quality of food - it's not often you get a steak that is cooked properly - and the staff are just brilliant. So helpful, so friendly, they could not have done more. Special mention goes to Abbi G who can do several things at once and still keep an eye on your table and answer your boring questions!

Everytime I go the food and service are good to great. Any time below par it gets sorted and handled in a brilliant way. I can hardly fault it. Covid restrictions are in place and are as needed. But most of all over the past four years when being served breakfast I have had a absolutely fantastic service from Janet B, she is a fabulous addition to the team. You can tell she works hard and is so friendly and helpful, she is a credit to the company, and I felt this needed acknowledgement.

First experience for us dining during restrictions . Had evening meal and breakfast as staying in hotel nearby . Good Covid-19 implementation. Social distance queuing and hand sanitizer at entrance. Waitress showed us to table which were all comfortably set apart. Waitress stood appropriate distance to take order, deliver drinks on tray. Same with meals - cutlery and sauces came same time as food. I had fish and chips and hubby had ribeye steak followed by treacle toffee pudding. Very nice food well cooked. Katie our waitress was very pleasant, helpful and very efficient. Breakfast was similar format with paper placemats as menu. Everything was waitress order and mugs given for self service for hot drinks. It was fairly quiet and therefore easy for staff to manage.

Minimal menu, but had the main meals people usually pick , steak, chicken, pasta.Pub was a one way system, which was adhered to by all , which was good to see. No mask were worn but tables were spaced further apart.Not too long to wait for your order which was well cooked and presented. We benefitted from the government scheme too.Felt safe and would go back

Out for lunch today. Parking good and free if you register your number in the restaurant. Beefeater Euston Way totally have Covid covered. Sanitisers everywhere, queuing methods well organised as are routes around restaurant. Spaces between tables make you feel very protected and distanced. Well done. Food was excellent - no fault whatsoever. Hot, tasty and plenty. Lovely fresh ingredients. Had missed grill and chicken wrapped in pancetta Fantastic. . Best of all - service. All at table - perfect Janet G was helpful, polite and kind from the moment we got there till when we left She helped us out with a slightly confusing voucher and service was quick and friendly. 10/10 Janet Top notch all around Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. We were staying in the Premier Inn so decided to book in for an evening meal and breakfast as there was not much nearby. We arrived for our dinner and had explained to us all covid precautions the staff were attentive, helpful and very polite. Our meals were nothing special but tasty and we had an enjoyable evening. However, breakfast was another story...I am not sure if being on the Eat out scheme was a factor but for a restaurant limiting numbers the service was pretty abysmal. We arrived at our booked in time of 8.45 and stood for pretty much 15 mins after the server then said we weren't booked in she went to get her supervisor and found we were booked in, she took us to our table and explained about how the unlimited breakfast was now done. After ordering drinks she said she would be back in a moment 20 minutes later I eventually asked a server if we could place our order. As we had booked a slot for our day out we were now running short on time. Breakfast was not rushed either but once arrived was tasty and hot and we all enjoyed it. We understand that times are different and we do have to wait a little longer for procedures to be followed but standing at a door for that long is just a bit out of order. I will say the servers are doing their best but I would suggest management does need to look into staffing levels at certain times.

Visited on 18th August with my husband and 2 granddaughters. We were greeted in a friendly manner. Due to lockdown the procedures were delivered in a very clear precise manner. We were shown to our table via the one way system. At the table we were handed our papers , the blue one clearly set out regulations for a safer enjoyable meal. The menus were disposable on departure. The drinks were delivered to our table and we were requested to remove them from the tray. The food was delivered with the minimum of staff handling. The meal was enjoyed by all. The staff have obviously worked very hard to maintain social distancing throughout the restaurant for the benefit of the clients. Thankyou to all of the staff especially Paige, Lauren and Jan.

Just returned from taking advantage of the Eat Out to Help Out offer and have to say I'm really impressed.They've done everything possible to keep everyone (customers and staff) safe, from implementing a one way system to offering waitress service.All the staff were brilliant but a special shout out has to go to Sarah as she kept her cool through the busy breakfast period while maintaining that lovely smile.We all opted for the full cooked breakfast and the continental. The food was excellent and cooked perfectly so well done to the chefs.The total bill came to less than £14 for all 3 of us which is crazy cheap.The service, the food, and the warm welcome have all contributed to this review getting 5⭐

Booked here for an evening meal as we were staying in the Premier Inn next door for the night. There are lots of measures in place as a result of the virus, sanitise your hands when entering, following one way systems and handling your own menus and binning them afterwards. Although the menu is limited there is still lots to choose from. We had a mixed grill and chicken and rib combo, both delicious! The desserts were lovely as well. For three courses each for 2 people and 4 alcoholic drinks it came to less than £80 which we thought was a bargain! The staff were very lovely, and the manager was so polite and welcoming. If we ever up that way again we will defiantly give another visit. 100% recommend.

food was fantastic when we got it but the service was dire. stood at reception on arrival for 15 minutes before anybody even acknoledged we were there. restaurant wasnt busy we counted 8 other people in there at the time yet it took at least 20 mins for anybody to come and take our breakfast order then took another 30 minutes before we recieved it. we decided to finish off with croissants but some 25 minutes had passed since we ordered them and still hadnt recieved them so we went to find somebody and we got them straight away. food was excellent but the poor service let it down unfortunately.

We came out for my birthday dinner. Myself, partner and 2 children. The waitress was beyond amazing, took our drinks order and was so quick! We ordered our food, I ordered a lot of sushi, my partner the lamb chops and both kids had the kids burgers. The lamb chops were tasty, the kids enjoyed the burgers but my goodness - the sushi was absolutely mind-blowing!!! I enjoy my sushi and have it regularly and this was the best sushi I’ve had in a long time!! I do not understand why this restaurant isn’t busier!!! They deserve to be busy all the time! If your nearby give them a chance!!!
