Good food, busy, lively atmosphere on the day we went. Nice family dinner.

Disappointed by menu not alot of choice,starters all came out with BBQ sauce no sour cream or garlic dip not available anymore. One of our party steak was cooked wrong over done. Meals don't come with veg everything with chips. No sweet potato available. Just a disappointing evening first night out in ages won't be rushing back.

Our preferred Beefeater in this area, good service and food. Not gourmet but good value.

Great food, great service ..... a tad noisy with children but regardless, would come back. Jessie M, the manager was faultless

This place is hot and cold with service, food! Honestly say NEVER again, their attempt at supplying a Sunday roast on Easter Sunday was of poor appearance, quality and temperature. If I had not been in family company, I would of refused to eat, pay and stay. NEVER EVER AGAIN AT THIS RESTAURANT

Nice happy evening meal with friends and family

We had a good meal with very good customer service. We were greeted with a friendly smile and seated quickly. The burgers, both beef and chicken double stack, were great, tasty, and moist. We would have given 5 stars but felt there was not enough chips with our meals, we did ask for a few more, from which we recieved a further small bowl if 10 to 12 chips between 4 people, but felt even then they were still sparse. The meal overall, however, was nice, and we had a lovely waitress.

Don't waste your money in here, take a short walk up the road to the pheasant, much cheaper and bigger portions. Friendly service too.

We were looking for a quick breakfast, we had a fantastic welcome from Jessie all the way from entrance to leaving. Our chosen order arrived on hot plates, well presented and tasted great.There was alot of choice for breakfast and all suited our dietary requirements. Thank you

Food was lovely, hot, and just the right amount. It had a very friendly atmosphere and spaciously placed tables.

Normally go for the breakfast (which is great). Today, went for lunch. Big portions and cooked really well. Staff very attentive.

Turned up for a table without booking when the restaurant was empty, only to be told they had no tables available due to staff shortages.

Went for a Sunday breakfast treat never again Queued in line behind 6 people for coffee no milk no staff to refill waited over 10 mins Limited choice of pastries etc again no one to refill Self service tables were full of food crumbs sticky very unhygienic Breakfast arrived after 30 minutes of waiting cold sent back waited another 10 minutes to find a lovely hair in my food enough is enough please do better

Need to put the heating on. Extremely cold and our family had to keep our coats on. It was so cold that the food on the pass had lost its heat by the time it had reached the table. A positive is that the team were friendly and replaced our meals immediately when we raised our concerns. Our replacement food was good (when warm). The team did look understaffed and could've done with at least an extra team member, but they did well. The company need to think about the well-being of their staff. To create an environment where there is no heating to the point where food is losing temperature in seconds and an environment where team are short staffed due to labour constraints has a physical and mental impact on employees. It would not surprise me if the team turnover was high, unfortunately the focus is on profits not team. This is a shame as the team on duty were good.

Literally cannot fault the food and service we got this eve. It was amazing. 2 adults and 2 children ( 1 child with sen , he loved it as well)

Have been before and it doesn't seem as nice now.

I had a very nice mixed grill and Mrs B enjoyed a double crispy chicken burger. All the meat was tender, steak cooked just as I had asked, the crispy chicken was flavoursome. Neither of us had room for dessert. The staff were great, and the blue light discount is appreciated.

Starter tomatoes have mold so we just walk away hungry from the restaurant

Breakfast was the size of a kids portion which only came out after waiting for 45 minutes. Service was ample but the kitchen staff looked like they'd never used a knife before. Food was left on the hot light 20 plates at a time which made the wait longer and the food drier. I'm diabetic and took my insulin far before the food came out expecting it to arrive within the time the insulin works, which is a dangerous situation for myself.

Great service as usual for a fair price

Busy as a Saturday night, it would be easy to pick fault when somewhere is that busy, but the staff coped well and were clearly putting a lot of effort in. They were also all very polite and friendly. The spilt the drip tray was quite funny, I felt bad for laughing but think I got away with it. I didn’t catch any of their names but all of the bar staff were putting in 100%. We sat in the bar area which emptied out and meant we had a large area to ourselves.

Slow service but friendly staff just think they are short staffed unfortunately. Chips hot but unfortunately burger wasn't.

No fish dishes available, No pinot wine. Was told they tried to order it but was not available from supplier. I wanted fish & chips but no fish. My gammon steak was very small even with the fat on. Friday lunchtime about 2'ish restuarant was very quiet. Hardly surprising really.

Lovely staff trying hard in difficult circumstances. Very poor value for poor quality food £72 for 3 people for rubbish evening meal. No draught beer. Bar towels dirty, dirty cloths used to wipe tables. Breakfast a complete rip off with dirty crockery. Next time I visit I will go to Macdonalds next door which offers great value and high degree of cleanliness

Just left after having lunch and it was a breath of fresh air! Great welcome, Great Service and the Food was Fresh! It was hot and very tasty.. Definitely be returning.. Happy New year to your Whole Team..

Just left with regret of choosing to eat here. Delays, delays, delays. Long wait to be seated (wasn’t busy) long wait to order and very lengthy wait for food that came out luke warm at best and undercooked. Had over an hour wait for the food and no service from staff in which we had to ask for the bill when the food finally came out. They didn’t bring out the right food and we left quickly with half finished food. Wouldn’t recommend going back

The staff are great and happy and polite, but clearly over worked. The food was cold/overcooked/wrong/missing. The meal was very cheap for the quantity. For a large party the tables are cobbled together and bundled up to fit you in. All in all it was ok for what we paid, but I wouldn’t want to go back

We were sat at a table by the fire exit. The restaurant wasn't busy and we had booked.the table was stained and didn't seem clean,the menus were covered in dried food, my main meal had elements missing and wasn't hot. The presentation was awful just looked like it had been thrown on the plate. The desserts were limited choice and I had the chocolate torte,the texture was grainy and awful. This is not a cheap place to eat and I expected more

Lovely staff Teresa was our waitress so bubbly kind and helpful. Would recommend the cheesecake. Lasagna slightly overdone but great service. The steak was cooked perfectly.

Christmas festive menu was of good and tempting variety, unfortunately the quality of the food served was anything but. The staff service was of normal expectations but no atmosphere considering it's there festive experience. Hadn't been to a beefeater for quite a few years and cant say I'd be rushing back.

Everything is cut to the bone. Lucky if you get a dozen chips. The corn on the cob is literally a quarter of a normal size. The staff seem as disinterested as the food is. We all came out saying we would of got better food and more of it for a fraction of the price at KFC across the road

Last minute dinner stop after late night shopping. We had mixed grills, ribeye and a burger. Steaks were cooked to perfection. We also had fantastic service from a very lovely young lady ‘Sammie M’. Nothing was too much trouble for her and made the experience so comfortable.

Great value meals, with plenty of menu choices. Although very busy, service was speedy, and staff were friendly. Recommend booking in advance.

Good food and really pleasant service. Place is now showing age and wear, as seats are heavily stained and tables bumped. Free WiFi is ok, but not fast. Next to McDs and cineworld. Just off M20. Update November 2023 - Sunday 27. Dinner started off with a list of what they didn’t have and the told that they also did not have any ale. Two dinners near were vaping while eating and were ignored. 🫤. Breakfast next day was ok but instant Nescafé decaf 😒. Juice a bit watery. Fruit a bit pass it’s best. Prefer a buffet for cooked breakfast. But ok.

I didn’t have high expectations but was pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty and good value for money. We were a large booking and managed to book online at short notice for an early evening meal. Our table server, Lauren, was superb!

Our lovely waitress called Hannah was incredibly kind. My son took to her kindness straight away. The fact she has just came of maternity leave and just how hard she was working. Food was lovely. Good variety of food to choose from. My son loved the Christmas Santa’s little helper milkshake and the pudding. Again, all the staff were very kind and helpful. Hopefully the next time we come we hope to have Hannah as our waitress. Thanks again.

this resteraunt is very welcoming, good free parking with plenty of space, the bar has agood selection of beers and wines although a bit expensive. I was very pleased to see signs indicating that service, NHS etc were entitled to a 25% discount. We gave the startersa miss as they were so limited and all very unhealthy, improvements could be made here. Mains were ordered, fillet and rib eye steaks, medium and arrived in good time, a side order of garlic prawns were also ordered but was disgusted when arrived (see photo) there wer only 2 small prawns at £4.99 which spoiled the meal. Service was superb and our server outstanding

Had the worst beer battered fish I have had in my life . Thick soggy batter, half cooked . Will not go back . The waiter was pleasant , otherwise it would have been one star .

When visiting early evening on 2nd Nov we was served by Teresa, who was very cheery and engaging. The food, cooked by Nick was faultless. My wife and I had a three course meal and enjoyed every mouthful. Thanks

The overall food quality is poor especially for the price. The burger looked small and sad, the fish was just edible, steak was a bit chewy but ok. Fries portion was too small in all 4 plates. Staff were nice though.

We had a family meal here last week, and were so impressed with the friendly staff, modern decor, and great choice on the menu. We were also able to get 40% off our mains with our reward card. Such a bargain from a trusted brand which we regularly use.

Service is always fantastic and staff are very friendly. Have stayed here for weeks on end for work and has never been an issue with food or service.

We regularly visit and have always has a great experience, the staff are always so friendly, helpfull and attentive. The food was to a high standard , steaks were cooked just as ordered. They also accept my veteran's card and give discount on the meal. Very impressed with the whole experience.

Good food for a chain, good service and reasonable price

Haven't been there for years. Very impressed. The choice of food was excellent. We all really enjoyed our meals. We had 3 starters and 3 mains. We were all impressed. It is now our favourite restaurant.

Friendly service and food cooked and served to a good standard. Tables were clean but felt a bit sticky. I imagine this is the cleaning solution so this could be improved. Will be back again another evening later this week.
